Xiwang finished his treat and licked his tongue over his maw as he looked at Weizhe, then at the closed door where his tamer was sleeping with the twin hatchlings. "Hatchling fly?"
"No," Weizhe said. "They have dragon blood but they cannot fly nor do they have dragon tails, wings or even horns. They are more in tune with magic though than other races and should be quite powerful, just as their mother and the rest of my family is." Weizhe began turning into his normal form again, until the great Celestial dragon took the shape of the human that had been there before, the dragon stretching out his massive body before unfurling his wings and taking flight after a few huge gusts of his wings which battered the younger dragon and knocked him head over tail for several feet as he rose into the air and began climbing in a tight spiral. "I am going hunting. You will watch over your tamer and her hatchlings," Weizhe spoke before moving off.
This left Xiwang on his own as he picked himself up and then turned into his human form, heading into the house to look at the twin hatchlings that Ping had delivered and his mentor seemed happy about. The teen left the door open as he went in and quickly spotted Ping lying on a makeshift bed, two infants curled up beside her as she slept. "Ping?" he questioned.
Ping's eyes slowly opened as she sensed someone standing above her and she saw her third dragon standing there with concern and fear on his features as he looked down at the twins. "Xiwang," she said. "They don't bite...they're helpless as you were when I found you. Meet Lian and Altansarnai, my son and daughter. Lian will inherit the Lee family title and house as well as the empire if we ever go back. Though Lian does look like his father, I hope he won't be the way his father was to me."
"Who father?"
Ping's face fell. "Baasan, the leader of the invaders that killed my first dragon with countless other tamers and dragons loyal to the empire. The empire which rightfully belongs to grandfather and my family," said Ping sadly. "Where is Weizhe?"
"Mentor hunt," said Xiwang. "Father bad like other human? Not nice like Ping?"
"Yes," said Ping. She could see Xiwang staring at the babies in fascination and laughed weakly, eliciting a concerned keening noise from her dragon. "They're half a year early," said Ping worriedly. "But Weizhe isn't worried, he says they're stronger than most due to the blood that flows in their veins through birth...and they have strong parents as well, I'll give their father that much. I'm fine Xiwang, just tired and need to rest. Though I don't know how I will fare with having you and two children to take care of. You're already a lot of work though Weizhe is a big help. Do you want to try holding them?" Xiwang shook his head fearfully, afraid he might hurt them.
