The Faint Light In The Dark Tunnel Of Life
Over 20 years have passed since the first Power Rangers rose to fame in the city of Angel Grove. The city has finally rebuilt completely after all the destruction caused by Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd and the other villains who attacked. As time went on, the citizens seemed to forget about those who protected them from evil 2 decades ago. The power that made the heroes is gone forever...and the heroes have moved on. Zordon died for the cause of good, and the city has been abandoned to normality. Years have gone by, and you are growing up as a regular teenager in a clique in Angel Grove High. Lately things aren't as they seem...something evil is brewing in Angel Grove, it seems as though history is to repeat itself. Though when an ancient evil rises from the ashes...5 teenagers with attitude will be called to action. Will they take on destiny? Or will they let evil rule? The power is on...

(@Huntrey @wonderboy1234 once he's online, lol @AlexanderJay RP started!!!)

The bell rang at Angel Grove High like any other day. The middle of September, students falling in line and life assuming normality. It was the middle of the day, and classes were nothing special. It was free period, and the 5 teenagers with attitude with an unknown destiny ahead of them were with their cliques.

Amber resided with her fellow punks on a table outside as the sun shined brightly. All her friends dressed in dark clothing, mostly black with a few assorted colors thrown in. Her hair blew in the breeze, blonde with pink at the ends. She sat atop the table with her friends, strumming on the acoustic guitar she decided to lug to school today. She lightly sang soft lyrics while her friends gave her a beat and made up sounds to go with the guitar. She finished her song, resulting in her friends clapping softly and not drawing attention to themselves. She high-fived her friends nonchalantly in their peaceful jam session.

Olivia twirled her curly red hair as she strolled through the schoolyard, passing the punks at their table and not giving them a second glance. Her casual yellow dress blew in the breeze slightly as she and her popular friends laughed about something relevant to them. Her friends matched her, all in bright and cute clothing, looking like models in the schoolyard. Passing by jocks, model-type guys and a foreign exchange student, shameless giving them flirty looks as the pretty pack of girls wandered around the yard.

Nathan Grey, a baritone in the school choir (the best high school choir in the city) and member of the drama club, got a ride to school from his boyfriend Michael as normal. He had his license and he knew his mom was getting him a car for his birthday but there was something different and attractive about riding to school on the back of your football playing boyfriend's motorcycle. Michael and Nathan were openly gay and they didn't let that stop him. Michael continued to play football even after coming out. At first it was an obvious shock but after a while it didn't matter that he likes girls and the others liked girls. He just spoke about his exploits with Nathan, his boyfriend, while the others talked about their girlfriends.

Nathan gripped Michael's waist tightly the whole way to school. When they arrived Michael parked his bike in the junior parking lot and the boys got off the bike and shared a kiss and held each other's hand as they walked into the quad. Nathan followed Michael over to where the football players were hanging out and the two boys joined them.

Jason was within the pack of jocks, not participating in the conversations, but instead working on some homework. He noticed the popular girls walk by and gave them a light smile, the punk rockers were met with a small nod, and when the two guys walked over Jason gave them a wave. Sadly that was all the time he could spare considering this essay needed to get done. His charming nature couldn't compose itself on paper like it could on hearts, so english was a little difficult. (Sorry for the small response, just needed to post something before I eat.)

Amber put up her guitar after the small show for her friends. She set it aside and took out her iPod after talking with everyone for a moment, spending free period wisely and relaxing. She blasted her metal music in her ears.

Olivia winked at the jocks as she passed by. An overly confident freshman with weird ambitions...and an almost too short dress for school.

(sorry mine was so short, wanted to post while eating xD )

@AlexanderJay

Cody was playing around with the jocks. They were tossing a football around and doing some plays to make the time go by faster in this free period. After awhile He stopped and sat down next to Jason. He tilted his head slightly so, he could see what Jason was doing. "Hm? Hey, Isn't that due next period? " He said with a friendly smile.

The sun started to dim slightly, the bright light going low. The wind came to a halt suddenly. Weird weather for a sunny day, especially in the middle of the day like this...but nobody seemed to bat an eye at the suddenly dimmed light, since it was still somewhat sunny.
The girls in their separate cliques didn't notice the strange change in weather, as small as it was. An odd presence seemed to loom around in the sky, almost lurking about. Change was coming to Angel Grove...

(Had to post...love doing third person!)

Jason gave a sigh of relief as the wind stopped blowing his papers to and fro. He looked next to him at Cody and gave a small grin before going back to his paper, "I'm sure I'll get it done, but thanks for the support.". He rolled his eyes before looking around, enjoying the sunny day, or what was left of it. (@AlexanderJay )

"You want help? I'm pretty good at English," Nathan said leaning in next to Jason. He quickly skimmed the paper and pointed at a spot between two words,"There should be a coma there. It's pretty good so far...just don't forget to use evidence to support your opinion."

Nathan leaned back and sat back down next to Michael. He snuggled into the crook of his boyfriend's arm. Michael wrapped a strong muscular arm around Nathan's shoulder and Nathan couldn't help but get a little bashful. They were in front of the 'Guys'. Nathan had to prove his manliness. They all played sports and all he did was sing and dance to show tunes.

Jason gave a light shutter as Nathan leaned into him, not enjoying the slight physical contact. He didn't have homophobia, but when the players found out that Michael was gay all along it made them all a little weary. "Ah, thanks man." Jason corrected it with a comma, and finally decided it wasn't going to get any better then that. He finally put it away before turning his attention back to the jocks, trying not to give the other player's girlfriends any looks.

Olivia and her group of "plastics" came to a stop at a table and sat down, placing their purses gently on the surface of the table and helping each other fix their hair and makeup, each of them looking fabulous and near perfect. She and the girls took out their phones and sent out texts and pictures to all forms of social media.

Amber hopped down from the table she sat on and walked away from her friends with her guitar in it's case. The case was black and covered in large colorful stickers and other decorations on it, all fitting a punk look. She waved to her friends and wandered through the school yard, passing the popular girls and the jocks. Typical, Jason's struggling with his English...She thought. She didn't have a problem with him, but saw him as a jock with the stereotypical views and problems. She also saw him and Cody as preppy...she didn't like preppy people. She gave a smile smile to Nathan, however. She thought well of him, and had choir class with him.

Cody nodded and looked towards the other cliques. He stood up and looked at the sky. "That's weird... There was no report of bad weather. What's going on?"

Cody soon shrugged it off and walked around the schoolyard. He minded his own business as well as kept to himself till he heard his name being called. He turned to see who called but, only saw a football heading towards the a young red headed girl. She looked like a freshman.

"Whoa! Look out!" Cody yelled as he ran over towards her. He reached out his hand to catch the flying projectile. The ball was caught by his open palm as he got in front of her. He tossed the ball back to the player then turned to the freshman. "Sorry about that." He said with a smile.

Amber had already passed as the football whooshed past her and headed for Olivia. She felt the wind from it as it made her hair blow to the side. She walked on with her guitar in the case, a slight sway in her step.

Olivia almost let out a shriek as the ball nearly hit her in the face. She was taken back and let out a sigh of relief as it was caught by the boy who sat with the jocks. "Thanks for that..I owe you one." She said, gratefully. Olivia looked like a material girl, but she was actually quite sweet. She gave him a small smile.

"No Problem" Cody replied. "It was nothing to it." He checked his watched then turned away. "Have a nice day."

Cody walked away and went back to the jocks. He sighed as he looked at his clique wondering how a ball was thrown over there.

(@Huntrey @wonderboy1234 @AlexanderJay time for plot plus build up!)

All of a sudden, thunder begins to roar in the clear sky. Principle Caplan (yes, form the show!) calls all students inside immediately. Amber noticed the thunder, roaring and lightning following it. What was going on? Such a clear day...and now a powerful storm was brewing. She quickly went side Angel Grove High. Olivia and her group did the same quickly.

Jason quickly grabbed his stuff and headed within the Angel Grove High, not bothering to wait for his group. He immediately took a spot next to window next to a girl carrying a guitar case. After a look of her up and down he decided to talk to her, "Crazy weather for such a beautiful day?". (@PenBlade1326 )

Amber nodded. "Freakin' nuts...no rain or anything. Just thunder lightning." She said. She didn't look at the boy talking to her, just kept her eyes on her guitar case, eyeing it like it was her baby. (I thought it was Jason...or is this a new character? lol)

Cody ran inside with the other jocks. "Whoa, That's some bad weather." He rubbed his head and backed up from the windows. He saw enough movies to know that standing next to a window is a terrible idea.

JASON looked at her, noticing her eye the guitar case instead of him and was quite puzzled. He chuckled light, "How rude of me, I didn't introduce myself before we talked. I'm Jason Bright.". Maybe if she actually saw who he was she would act a little bit different. (SHHHH I have lots of characters).

( xD good job Huntrey)

Amber glanced at him and recognized him. "Oh...hey...Amber Romano." She said nonchalantly. "You were the guy sitting with Cody and Nathan (@wonderboy1234 ) a few minutes ago. Sup?" She asked, again, nonchalantly. For a punk, she was totally mellow. She set her case down beside her and awaited his response.

Olivia walked to her locker and looked in her mirror, making sure she looked alright. She still looked like a Barbie...but with red hair, and not as perky. (Action's coming in couple more posts xD )
(when I post in all italics, it's a narration of something else going on)

A cloud in the sky turned completely black. It glowed with fear, despair, horror, and death. The Dark Cloud hovered over Angel Grove. turning the day into night, thunder and lightning still raging on. Actera, the leader of evil, stood within the cloud, surrounded by his top generals, Goldaro, Blackwall, and Taloniss. Their Savage warriors growled around them in a circle as Actera planned a course of action. "Angel Grove...a perfect place to spread my storm. I will destroy it, and gave victory where the fools Rita and Zedd left off. Nothing will stop me...nothing!" He shouted in his command center of the Dark Cloud, followed by his generals and foot soldiers cheering.

The spirit of Zordon, the being who brought the original Power Rangers together sensed something amiss in the skies of Angel Grove...could it be? Evil has returned?

(Already got dis shiiit planned out xD )

Jason raised an eyebrow to her, a little puzzled as why she wasn't fangirling over him. He coughed lightly at the sup, not sure if this girl was just trying to play cool or really didn't know him. "Nothing much, trying to enjoy some company besides the girls drooling over me.". He threw a thumb over his shoulder, pointing out the group of girls talking about him. There eyes were glazed over in lust for the hunk and jealousy over the punk.

Amber didn't look at Jason. "Well...how's that one goin' for ya?" She asked, her eyes away. She had her arms crossed and her mind somewhere else as the weather had changed suddenly...she felt as if something was off. Amber, and the other four teenagers with attitude could likely feel it as well.

Olivia was one for the girls lusting over Jason and glaring at Amber...but the sudden rush of an odd feeling overwhelmed her....something wasn't right.

Cody laughed a little seeing all girls drooling over his teammates. By now, seeing girls falling for Jason was a very common thing. Most girls acted like he was a god among boys but, this didn't bother Cody. Cody wasn't the type to get jealous over things especially things like that. He was the kind of person that like to go with flow so, it wasn't likely you would see him mad or annoyed.

Nathan felt the shudder from Jason as he was doing his homework. He knew Michael being gay and having a boyfriend disturbed them, ever so slightly. It was like he'd somehow betrayed them by coming out. He was still the same Michael and he viewed the team as brothers not potential fucks.

Nathan started to get up when they were all called inside. Michael still had his arm wrapped around his boyfriend's shoulder. Nathan looked at the girls that were fawning over Jason. It was ridiculous. Michael was who the girls had swooned after first. He had to admit he did swoon over Michael when he was the hottest (still is the hottest!) single bachelor on campus. Things changed though after Michael came out. The girls all of the sudden wanted a gay best friend to go shopping and watch chick flicks with. They were in for a load of hurt when they learned Michael was still you're stereotypical jock except for the fact that he liked penis and the rest of the boy's wanted the V. Nathan wrapped his arms around Michael's waist and the two boys sat against a row of lockers in the main hall.

"I know Jason's your teammate and all but did you see how uncomfortable he got when I offered to help him with his essay? Jesus...what'd he think I was gonna go? Throw up on the table and blow him right there," Nathan vented leaning into Michael's warm embrace even more.

"I don't think they like me," Nathan mumbled.
