  Appearance Reed thin, Chris at first glance doesn’t come across as someone who would do well in a strength competition. A fair assumption against their own people. Against a human however it becomes very clear, very quickly that Chris is built for flight, with an upper body of cut muscle honed for the demands of staying airborne.
  
  Chris’s upper body is almost entirely made up of the muscle required for flight. The legs too are crafted and cut and are only likely to get more so as Chris works to get closer and closer to an “effortless” vertical takeoff.

  Chris has pointed ears that actually seem to have tufts of feathers at times. They also openly lack any type of traditional sex traits that humans would look for, along with a belly button or any kind of body hair beyond that which adorns their head

  15 feet across the actual structure of the wings is reminiscent of a bird of prey with the most similarities to the falcon family. Not entirely surprising once one watched Chris actually fly. They are fond of sharp maneuvering and make up in speed what they lack in the ability to glide for hours. – The wings are not set to any specific pattern, and change rather readily each time that they appear.
  
  Costume
  
  Naturally the first thing people notice about Hummingbird is the wings. Once past that the uniform becomes a little more of a thing. Chris wears a mask across the lower portion of the face, stretching from the bridge of the nose, back across the cheekbones and then down under the jawbone. Over the chest Chris generally wears a shirt that is part armor part leather (or something close to leather since it seems to be slightly stretchy like spandex). A strip of metallic scales stretch down the spine, shown openly although on the front it is covered by dark material. The pants are a stretchy material, with leather boots that lace up to the knee. Chris generally wears fingerless gloves as well.

  Inherent Traits
  
  Kothar The Kothar make for an interesting race whose reality split from Earths several hundred thousand years ago. The result remained surprisingly similar to a human, at least visually. That is of course excluding the fact that the Kothar have fully functioning wings and tentacles. The tentacles emerge from slits located on either side of the spine and in general stay retracted when not in use since the appendages are rather delicate and injury to them can cause debilitating pain. Several hundred years ago they mastered the art of dismissing their wings via a technology actually although to most it just comes across as magic. Chris could explain it although the result is the only part people usually care about, the ability to completely dismiss or recall them with only a conscious thought, and to change their coloration. Not to say that the wings are for show. Kothar are not only capable of flight, they are built for it with larger lungs, a resistance to cold, inhuman endurance and impressive levels of strength. Unlike some the wings aren’t easily injured either, the feathers layering together to form a barrier that can stop just about any normal strike (bullet, arrow, blade). Chris mentions a couple of times that they assume their senses are different too, mainly when it comes to the impressive eyesight unaffected by lighting conditions. The trade off seems to be a lack of ability to smell a number of things, as well as a lack of any kind of similar taste preference although that might also be cultural.
  
  True Healing Chris’s breed don’t have scars, nor do they bare crippling conditions permanently. Their bodies are capable of regenerating and returning any break or injury back to its original condition so long as nothing is actively preventing the process. Now, this isn’t something that happens instantly although Chris is noted to heal at maybe twice the rate of the average human give or take. It is also mentioned a few times in passing that the ability goes down to a cellular and even genetic level, repairing any kind of non-normal conditions and repairing the damage normally associated with aging. The result is that it is near impossible for Chris to become drunk or poisoned and the effects burn off rapidly. Rather unfortunately the body doesn’t differentiate between any kind of foreign material however and burns off any kind of medication or pain reliever just as quickly.
  
  Unique Traits
  
  Intelligence Chris bears a wicked level of intelligence with a specific gift for being able to see patterns and to grasp abstract thought, even among their own kind. As an example they were capable of not only realizing what was going on with the intersecting realms, they were able to comprehend the forces involved at a level that allowed Chris to manipulate them.
  
  Technology One of those six of one, half a dozen of another type traits. Chris was studying to become the equivalent of a scientist/engineer among their own kind and can build a working interdimensional doorway. Ask them to use a modern Earth cellphone however and they are beyond lost. They have at least made it a point to figure out how Earth’s internet works enough to be able to access it for data: things like language dictionaries and such.
  
  Flight Techniques Chris is a high speed, high maneuverability flier and is quiet proud of the fact that up against the others in their class they were nearly impossible to catch. The price is an inability to simply glide for hours at a time but Chris doesn’t much mind. It is a fair trade in their mind to be capable of feats like hovering or flying upside down. Being able to spread wings and stop instantly is also a favored trick.
  
  Weaknesses
  
  Inability to go underwater Arguably a disadvantage of being so attuned to flight, Chris actually can’t dive underwater for any worthwhile amount of time. The natural buoyancy even without the wings brings them right back up to the surface. Granted, it can somewhat be sidestepped if they are plunging into the water from something like a vertical dive however as soon as the momentum gives out they come back up. There is also the catch to just floating by and relaxing that the wings chance getting waterlogged and keeping Chris on the ground until they dry out. Waterlogged wings also can’t be dismissed, for fear that molecules of the water will get caught in the process and lead to complications later.
  
  Limited Color Change Chris’s ability to change wing coloration is something that can’t be changed on a dime. Once the wings are called and physical the pattern is set until Chris once against dissolves and rematerializes them. They are also rather notably the only part of Chris that is capable of changing color in such a way. – At the current moment the actual pattern is also highly influenced by mood and conditions at the time.
  
  Intake To maintain all of the associated processes with being what Chris is there are rather high power requirements. Four full meals a day is about right to maintain a resting condition.Should Chris be in a healing state then the requirements almost double.
  
  Claustrophobic Chris has a distinct fear and hatred for anywhere that is confined or cut off from the sky. This extends to certain situations that involve movement without Chris being capable of doing anything about it such as elevators.

  Cuff earring - Worn on the shell of the left ear just before the point the earring is secured through the entire slot and serves as a translational device for most languages.
  
  Dao Swords – two halves of the same sword they were passed on to Chris from their trainer and when not in use (or when in use as a single blade) fit together neatly. The set slides into a specially designed harness that sits along the spine in a way that won’t interfere with the wings.

One could say that his costume in reminiscent of the fictional hero 'Zorro' minus the hat. He also wears dark green gloves, but this was more because he doesn't want to touch anyone accidentally and give them a boost in power... or kill them because of that boost in power.

  • Dark Light Manipulation - Though devastating when the full power is unlocked, in his hands, it can only be akin to being able to manipulate dark light to the point of making a weapon or spears to throw as he is not even close to mastering the art.

  • When he taps into the Dark Light Generation power too much at a short span of time, he could overload and lose control over it ending with devastating results on both him and his immediate surrounding. He must improve slowly.
  • He has to be able to touch someone to activate the Power Augmentation
  • His Power Augmentation can overload one's abilities to the point of it being harmful for the other party and himself.
  • Surprising him and touching him (skin contact) would result in the other party feeling the effects of his Power Augmentation. While he can deactivate it, the other party would feel woozy. This would also have a bad effect on him.

  Clockwork - A pocketwatch given to him by his father. It can double as both a compass and an analog watch. However, it has something special to it. By pressing the stopwatch on the top, it emits a high frequency sound and a scrambler for a short amount of time.

  Appearance: Lucky certainly stands out. Her pale skin only highlights her hair's outrageously eye-catching color of pink. She typically keeps that pink hair in pigtails or occasionally in an elaborate horseshoe shape. Her choice of clothes, both in and out of costume, favors blacks and purples. She walks tall and confident, secure in herself and what she's accomplished. Her voice is light and often reflects her amusement or exasperation at the situation. It's noteworthy that use of her powers not only manifests as pink light but her eyes likewise glow whenever her abilities are employed.

  • Probability Manipulation - Lucky has the ability to manipulate luck, mostly bad luck. This power, which she thinks of as magical, manifests as pink, lightning-like energy.
    • Her luck can then be shaped and thrown from her hands, which manifests a range of effects including disruptive waves to ruin buildings, tidal waves through the ground or concussive blast-like effects when wielded directly against people.
    • She can also create more generalized effects solely with concentration, though her eyes glow brightly when doing so.

  
  Weaknesses:
  

  • Despite her more optimistic name, misfortune tends to follow in Lucky's wake both for others and for herself.
  • Although not necessarily widely known, Lucky was once a villain named Jinx. Over the course of her evil career, she caused considerable carnage and harm to a great many people...in this world or in others. As a result:
    • Lucky has a guilty conscience and tends to easily fall into depression when confronted with a reminder of her past.
    • She could conceivably meet someone she harmed from her original reality, and such a confrontation would definitely favor the victim.
    • Lucky could also meet this reality's version of someone she harmed. Particularly for those she slew who live anew in this world, Lucky strives to make their lives better and is easily baited if their lives are at stake.
  
  Specialization: Lucky is very accurate with her Jinx bolts.

  • Master acrobat: Lucky is an accomplished gymnast, capable of dodging beam-bursts, starbolts, and pillars of stone telekinetically launched at her with ease.
  • Hand to Hand combat: She also excels at hand to hand combat. While not as experienced or skilled as master fighters like Robin, she can routinely hold her own in close-quarters combat.

• A note on gender: Male, As much as his mother tried to change that, he is male.
• Age: 19
• Abilities

-Will is half amazonian, so with that comes with amazonian strength to some degree (A small bit weaker than his mother) and some super speed and durability, but he didn't get flight.
-Being only half amazonian, human genetics mixed oddly and gave him an odd red herring power. Ice. His mother did not give him a sword and shield, so he makes his own with the water in the air, freezing it into a sword and shield and pushing the air from it's latices making it just as strong as steel. He can make walls of ice in front of him or jagged spikes that maneuver out and stab at opponents.
- He's a monster combatant. He can take hits, dish it out and can be easily described as a 'tank',

• Weaknesses

-Will's own mind,fears and insecurities kill him in the midst of combat. He can get erratic and lose focus.
- Knocking Will down is much easier than a full fledged Amazonian warrior. Not easy at all, but still easier in comparison.
-Hot, dry environments make his ice ability difficult to use. Theres a finite amount of water in a space so if he does too much ice magic in an area, he could easily run out. He has to either wait on water molecules to re-diffuse into the area around him for use or move elsewhere. There's nothing telling Will when he's out or almost out, so he has no real way to gauge this. Keeping him stuck in one place of combat renders his ability useless.
-His eyesight is terrible. Near sighted and colorblind. Has glasses and contacts, prefers the contacts.
-Will has a history of substance abuse, specifically ecstasy . He's clean for the moment aside from regular drinking, but he could fall back into old habits very easily.

• Specializations

Will's ability to use his ice powers to his advantage is spectacular. He had to learn to get good if he wanted to learn to fight. He had to make his own weapon and in the process he learned how to get spectacular at the one ability that made him special.

• Equipment

Whip of Hellfire- A whip he came across when working with a very close friend who's father was one hell of a scientist. He was helping Will bust his first human trafficking ring and gave it to him as a gift. It looks like a narrow silver cylinder about 7 inches long with a small switch at the base that's easy to flick with his thumb, mid-crack. This releases the whip of blazing white fire that scorches skin but does not light anything on fire.

• Areas that need work

-Trust. He is horrible about trusting people and has a bit of a paranoia issue with people being out to get him. He has a severe fear of physical contact and it inhibits his ability to work with others. He comes off as a horrible asshole, but he's really not a bad person.
-He also does not value human life enough not to kill a bad guy. Especially if their crimes are toward children or are based in the human trafficking world.
-Most of Will's problems come from a very neglected childhood. Not abuse, just very ignored, and isolated. That followed by a incredibly traumatizing experience he never got professional help to deal with. The only way he's fixed the effects these have had on him are drugs or outbursts. If he's not on something, it'll be an outburst. If he could get someone to talk to who'd understand, perhaps it'd be easier to overcome, but for the moment, this is what he's stuck with.

• Goals, Aspirations, Dreams

-Will just mostly wants revenge. Revenge upon the men who made him this horrible person he thinks he is. If there's a human trafficking ring in the world, he wants to be the one to demolish it by hand. But deep down he really just wants approval. He wants to be liked but grew up believing this was impossible.

• Appearance

Except he never wears sleeveless. Every shirt he wears has sleeves and enough of a neck to cover his collarbone. Usually hoodies.

History (I feel its necessary as it explains why the hell he's such a jacked up person.)

Will is an anomaly for his kind. Not only is he amazonian-borne, but he was born male. This was a bit confusing to his mother, but she went with it. Sadly the father was not in the picture, and Diana was so busy with the Justice League, she rarely ever had time for Will. This left Will feeling rather neglected and starved for her attention. He took up every kind of extra curricular, piano, cello, ice skating, dance, everything to get her attention, but she just kind of brushed him off for work. It hurt, but he still tried. He'd occasionally hear her say off handed comments about men and then began to think that perhaps Diana was brushing him of simply for being a boy. This wasn't true, but in the mind of a child who's mother is rarely ever there, they look for anything that could be a reason.

Their strained relationship only got worse. Diana got busier and busier and believed that since Will was getting older, he needed less time with her. She'd leave for weeks, missed so many events Will was looking forward to. Birthdays, Christmas, Halloweens, Diana thought it was for the greater good, but did not see she was destroying her own son. He resented her, began to hate her even, but still was cordial with her and continued to attempt to earn her affection because he felt he had to.
Although one last blow destroyed their relationship. He was walking home one day When some men in a van asked for directions. As he was explaining where to go, a syringe of heroine was jammed into his shoulder and he was forced in the van. His body was sold to people for 6 months, he was drugged constantly with anything that'd keep him down and hurt by so many different people daily. He wasn't reported missing for a week due to Diana doing Justice League activities and after three weeks of searching he was presumed dead.

Diana did grieve, even began to wish she had spent more time with him, but realizing it was far too late for that. She pushed herself further in her work, just trying to forget about it.

Will was only found when the van was pulled over for a traffic violation and when he came home he didn't find a frantic mother looking for her son. He saw that Diana had given up. She buried an empty casket, and in his eyes seemed to be living life just fine without him. He hated her, out right blamed her for what happened to him. In his mind, had she been a caring mother, she would have torn the place down looking for him, but instead she accepted that he was dead. From then on he avoids Diana no matter how much she may try to patch the relationship.


Sadly on top of the torture, Will never got the help he needed. Diana's response to Will's rage was to shut him out completely and simply brush the problems under the rug. Perhaps if she ignored them long enough, they'd go away. But they sat and grew. Manifested into drug addictions, drinking addictions and unimaginable violence. He's clean for the moment, but could revert under even minimal stress.

Personality:Growing up as the son of a busy Justice Leauger is a lonely childhood. It's resulted in him having this complex of not being good enough, as being inferior. Will is an odd duck. He is very kind and sweet but his interests are all over the place. He’s pretty simple and doesn’t like flashy things He’s going to try anything at least once and seems relatively fearless. He has his mother sense of justice and flirtatious nature. He does however have some mental scars. He avoids physical contact with everyone and seems to be afraid of intimacy of any kind due to a rather dark event in the past he'd rather not talk about ever again. Sure he seems all fun and games, but that event scarred him so badly, he works to make sure no one ever has to endure what he did ever again.
