Kage cackled darkly as the winged beings tried to harm her with there sword as her body turned to the side out of instinct to avoid the blade that was swung at her "try all you like it won't work on a shadow demon" she said as she sent a wave of dark energy at the being in hopes of hitting one of the wings and send it to the ground so the others could do something " who and what are you if you don't mind me asking" she said casually as if talking to a friend

Lucky

"Must have crossed a black cat today," Lucky purrs as the gun fragments. Her delighted laughter ends abruptly as a sword is produced. Instead, a look of grim concentration replaces it as she launches a Hex bolt from each hand, unsurprised but still dismayed when the guard turns them aside with that blade.

She presses the attack further when her guard, the first guard, pulls back to regroup with the second. It takes a minute before she realizes they're not on the offensive anymore...and since she's supposed to be a good guy now, maybe she shouldn't be either. Aware of how the Boy Wonder worked, Lucky notices the discreet toss he makes at one of them and nods in satisfaction. They've been bugged and this battle wasn't going anywhere productive. Time to let them go.

Maybe.

Lucky lowers her hands and tries to catch Robin's eye. Once, she'd led her own team, the Hive Five and she'd been the most competent of them all. Now she was here on someone else's terms and, despite her taste for victory, she wasn't intending to rock the boat or butt up against his leadership. So Lucky looks for a cue from Robin on whether to keep up the assault, let the mystery men go or do something else she hadn't thought of.

Being ignored wasn't a thing Alice cared for as she tapped Lucky's shoulder. "Hey, what's your power? It's weird as I seen it blow it up. Can you please tell me what it is?" She asked thinking to herself that Lucky was a pretty good key to winning this sky battle.

Lucky

The tap on the shoulder by someone twice her size was..well, actually, it makes her think of Mammoth. Lucky wonders briefly and a bit wistfully how he's doing in this reality.

"I'm Lucky, just like my name," she says. "Lucky for my friends. Bad luck for those who aren't. People who get in my way, well, things fall apart." She raises a meaningful eyebrow at the broken remnants of the guard's disassembled gun lying nearby.

"Don't think I caught your name?"

That the pair drew back was interesting, although Robin was happy enough for it. They were outnumbered, and it appeared outpowered as well. A quick glance at his communicator showed that the tracking device was locked in place and relaying signal already. Good. The device slid away into his uniform and Robin took off for the group that was still actively fighting. It actually looked like Lucky and the other had already drawn back from the fight.

Close enough that he could get involved again if needed he raised his arm to the shadow user, the one still fighting. “Fall back!” The pair didn’t seem to be doing any more than defensive harm now that the one they were chasing had fled, and they had the bag. It’d be nice to know why they were after it so much but that could come after they weren’t right there fighting. Plus, now with the tracker they would be able to see if the pair could run down the lead that they were originally chasing. The pair after all, was more likely to know what the lead was capable of and if not, how hard could someone with wings be to find? “Fall back and regroup.” Then they could figure out who could actually do what and how to best go about using each person’s abilities. They might also get the chance to look in the bag and see what was so important.

The guard didn’t hesitate with Kage still coming towards the pair, the steel toned wings flicking and drawing together as the darkness rolled towards them. An impressive defense, as the darkness did appear to catch in the feathers for a moment before being dismissed by the span snapping open. There was also no acknowledgement of the comment, amber eyes fixed on Kage but no hint that the being had understood in the least. Of course, that may have also been because of the shift in focus. The long range guard had snapped wings down the moment the darkness was dispersed, sweeping upward into a powerful climb that the close range guard followed the first opening that he got. With only one seemingly capable of flight and the rest drawing back from the fight they were willing to make a break for the sky. They needed to get away from the group. Then they could find their bearings and more importantly find the one they had been pursuing, if only to find a way to get back.

"Oh I'm Orca" The large woman said without thinking as it was what she was called mainly by the criminals or well petty thieves. "Luck I see......well with a lucky day you'll get a storm, on an unlucky day if those bolts can hit a cloud what do you get?" She asked with a smile on her face as she leaned down a bit to get eye level with the pink haired girl. Hopefully Lucky knew what she was talking about as she can hear the wings coming from behind her.

Kage growled as she started to go after them as she heard Robin "damn bird not letting me go after them" she muttered as she gained a bit of the shadows she had used still clung to one of the wings hidden in the shadows which she made to keep track of them as the shadow merged with the beings. As this happen she let herself from to the ground and stood there watching them leave a frown seen on her mask

Lucky

At the Boy Wonder's instruction, Lucky does indeed pull back and regroup with him and presumably the others. She peers upwards at the shadow doing battle with the winged guards before eyeing the girl who descended to join them a moment later. That eye is a wary eye. Too much like Raven.

God, she hated Raven.

"Orca, huh?" Lucky nods, evidently accepting the other hero's name. Judging by her face, it looks like she thinks it's a fitting one. Then she smirks at the other girl's comment about the weather. "Every day's a bad day around me. But mostly for the people who get in my way."

Realizing that (A) her idea of small talk was probably villain material and (B) this was a hero, Lucky quickly amends that by adding, "Which is bad people. We're totally about catching bad people on this team and a little bad luck goes a long way against bad people, right?"

She sneaks a peek in Robin's direction, evidently hoping he doesn't tip others off to her own rather checkered past. Assuming the version of me in this reality didn't do it first. What was I up to here anyway? Am I out there somewhere?

"A little bad luck does go along way, and if you don't get what I mean is I was saying can you make a thunderstorm? I mean they are wearing metal all over so electricity would be attracted to them and knock them down to us. Afterall, people do say when it's a thunderstorm in the world have an overflow of bad luck." Alice not only said this with a bit of pride in her voice but also a large smile, positive that her idea would work if they were to meet again.

"Look at the time I gotta go home, parents might be furious or worried if I don't go back soon. I'm sure the train is empty at this time of day." She said turning around not worrying as robin called the team and she didn't think herself as someone they thought of as a team mate due to her uselessness in the fight.

Robin stayed on guard until the pair had actually flown well above range. Even after he turned his gaze down he remained somewhat tense although this lot may not realize it. When would they have ever seen him truly relaxed after all. Well, Lucky may have, depending on the world that she had come from and her interactions with the Robin there. His eyebrow raised slightly at her look, acknowledging it and then turning away. Yes, he would talk with her later about…things. “Thank you all.” They had come together rather beautifully actually, and no one’s feathers seemed to be ruffled. Well, maybe the shadow user. She didn’t seem enthusiastic to have been called off. “I tagged one of them with a tracker so that we can plan what we want to do and take it to them.” He glanced towards where the others were off to the side, guarding the bag. “Hopefully they have some way to track the one that was running.”

His attention caught when Orca said she had to get home to…parents? The surprise was mostly hidden by the mask, Robin reaching behind his cape. “Yeah, that’s a thing too. Here, if you want I have a few base communicators if you were interested in joining up with us...they aren’t tapped into the Titan’s full network yet. Need the tower for that, but they’re all linked to each other.” The communicator looked like one of the real ones, and worked about as well as one, it just wasn’t linked into the encrypted network. “I have 3 of them on me but there’s more in the Tower storage.”

There was actually an entire box of them, since apparently this realities Cyborg was under the impression that they broke a lot. It…actually wasn’t untrue although Robin didn’t think he broke that many. Mostly it was villains that they went up against, and flares of energy or temper from Raven or Starfire, or Beast Boy accidently losing or stepping on his. Okay, Cyborg had reason to give him an entire box. Plus, it wasn’t like it was just sitting out. It was under the construction site in the fully equipped and ready to go storage, training room, and garage. Most had agreed it was better to have those rooms set up before anyone even knew what they were doing. As it turned out…they might be correct. He looked over the group again, considering. “If anyone else has somewhere they need to get back to you can take one, and anyone who needs a place to stay can come downstairs with me, even if don’t really want to join the team.” There wasn’t anything overly dangerous downstairs that people could really get to. Plus, he wasn’t going to leave anyone out in the admittedly not actually that cold night.

James followed the group, he believed he had to place in the battle that occurred earlier and decided to watch and analyze the other's abilities. He was surprised by them and the fact that they were varied. "I need to show my abilities next time" he said to himself an then said "So Robin... I'll follow you downstairs...my place isn't that great" James then putted his hood on and waited for further instructions.

Kage nodded at him words her mask showing a scowl as the frown changed to show her irritation of not being able to 'play' with the being more then she had "I guess ill go to not like I have anywhere else to go at the moment .........or that i can stay for the matter" she said her voice distorted and sounding colder due to the mask muffling her voice as she said the last part to herself as she waited for something to happen or someone to say something

Aram watched as the other members of the team attacked the two fliers with the shadow person going in the attacks. However, it seemed like the guards had retreated and he heard Robin order for them to fall back and regroup. He slowly filed back with them as he watched the two guards fly away. His bow contracted before placing it on his back again, clipping it into place for later use. Well, that was over fairly quickly. He didn't mind though; at least he was able to help somewhat.

His eyes drifted to Robin when he began to speak. So they were getting their own communicators? That was so cool. "I don't have a place to stay actually. Not a permanent one at least." He spoke up before standing behind Robin. Hey, they did give these kinds of accommodations. Since they had a house, they would surely have food too as well right? This was perfect. He didn't need to worry about those anymore when he joins up with the team.

"Are we going to open the bag downstairs too?" Aram asked, gesturing to the bag that was being carried by Mason. He was curious whether or not the things inside were actually of importance. It might even help them with tracking down those three fliers and whatnot.

"Can I...make a thunderstorm?" Lucky peers up, sweeping her pigtails back behind her head so she can study the sky. A frown creases her pale features. "I don't know. I've never tried."

With a shrug, she flung her hands up towards the clouds and gave them a shot of pink lightning. A few pink flashes reverberated in the clouds, followed by a distant rumble. She chuckles and spreads her hands in a 'what can you do about it?' gesture. "Maybe with practice? Who knows."

"Stick around!" she calls out as Orca turns away. "We could use a bruiser."

Lucky catches the look Robin gives her and answers it with an eyebrow of her own.

When Robin mentions planting a tracker, she chuckles and nods her head as if he just met an unvoiced expectation. "They probably do," she adds when Robin comments on those winged guards being able to track the one running away. "Only question is, who's the good guy?"

Once Robin produces the communicators, Lucky gives the T-embossed disc a covetous look. But she crosses her arms and adopts a 'patient' expression. "As long as I get one, I can wait." There's a challenging look on her face as she eyes Robin. "Unless you want a repeat of the Fearsome Five situation. ...Not that that necessarily happened here..." she ends with a mutter.

When Robin makes his offer, Lucky glances around at the others, interested in their responses.

Then Lucky peers at Aram. "...What bag?" She was obviously preoccupied in trying to shoot down flying people and didn't notice it fall.

The blonde had found a lovely spot they thought, tucked up high under some kind of bridge for their vehicles. It hadn’t even been that hard to get to, even without employing any hint of the wings. Of course, the being was starting to realize already that the limitations of what was possible for the people here and themselves might be considered rather different. They were under the impression currently that the people here weren’t even that capable of a two foot jump, let alone the seven or so that had taken the blonde up to the first span.

They actually somewhat hopped that the people here really couldn’t. It would make this spot much safer while they toyed with the technology that they had slipped away. The phone’s actual use was still a mystery to the blonde, but it could connect to their network. They had seen it. The rather oddly sized device had shown the ability to accept vocal messages, relay them, and to connect to some kind of information network. That was really all that was needed for now. The faint twinge of guilt that the blonde felt at having subtly walked away with the device when the owner wasn’t looking was reassured by the idea that they would return it, eventually.

The technology that they drew out of their boot was a slim thing, a rod about the length of the hand. A thin cable extended from it, the end splitting into several wires that writhed against the foreign tech. Then the cabling found the port and shifted to best connect. A slight hum came from the tech, even as the being reached up to remove the cuff earring they wore. This would only be a basic upload, the communicator only picking up on the basics of the language and not filling in anything that didn’t have a direct translation back and forth. That should be enough for now however, enough to get across what they needed to the people here.

While they waited on the upload to finish, the slim fingers played with the tech, revealing that it did have a screen, in a way. The holographic image drew up, the language flashing across it for a few moments before displaying a rough map of the area although it would look odd to the human eye. Incomplete for one thing, since it only include the areas that the being had been through in detail and the rest only basic, and to every appearance was based on a 3d view rather than a 2d while still being flat. A few points shown brilliantly, namely where the being was, where the two guards had perched high up in some kind of tower, and where the bag that had been dropped was. There seemed to be an odd distortion here and there, the being frowning at it. The device worked through vibrations essentially, picking up on the vague outline of things based on the way that air vibrated around it, and this specific one had been calibrated to display objects that vibrated at a different frequency at an atomic level, indicating that they had come from a different dimension. Could the distortions be other not quite right vibrations? If so those items or people must have come from realities far closer, only one or two steps off. Had this realm already mastered the jumping? No, that couldn’t be right or they would have had a more spectacular reaction to the doorway opening and collapsing. Granted there had been an immediate reaction but the being thought that it was more luck and surprise rather than any sort of real mounted defense.

Robin nodded to those who said that they were staying. This was going to be quite the team. He was fairly sure they did have that number of beds though, or at least cots. “Alright, the entrance is right this way. It is probably better to open the bag in a contained room.” Each of the rooms downstairs was designed to be a controlled ventilation system, and in case there was something nasty in there they could keep it nice and quarantined. If there wasn’t then they also didn’t have to worry about being out in the open under the sky.

He offered over one of the communicators he had on hand to Orca, since she had stated already that she needed to leave. Then he turned. Right now the entrance looked rather bland, pieces of sod laid over torn up earth with what looked like a lamp post of some kind sitting out front. Reaching up he laid his hand on the flat portion, watching as the scanner acknowledged him. Then the ground slid back to reveal with garage ramp. “There’s two other entrances but they aren’t finished yet. Stairs down to the garage and training room. There’ll eventually be a water entrance too.” Considering who might very well be part of the team he would look at opening that more. Already it was going to be large enough for the underwater ships but the inside docking area wasn’t much larger. If Orca was wanting to swim there it would be better to ensure it was plenty large enough.

The ramp rather unsurprisingly led down a story into the underground garage which appeared to have about the same width and length that the tower above would, although it was shifted oddly to the side. Currently the room was filled with boxes of supplies and other building materials and tech. Robin’s cycle sat under it’s cover far back in the corner, right beside another scanpad door that led into the rest of the underground area, accessed by a hallway that showed several doors leading down it. Robin went for the first one. “There’s not really a kitchen or anything yet so I’ve been doing pizza.” Robin prided himself on being cleaner than some other titans, namely a certain green one but the evidence of his stay was still piled on top of the garbage can. Beyond that, the room was cluttered with a large amount of electronics which were either carefully covered, or arranged on the desk to give the best use of space as possible. Most of the screens seemed to be security footage of the city although one at the bottom showed a satellite map and another off to the left was running through police dispatch. “Right, so there is a training dojo farther down that is probably going to be better to sleep in. There’s cots and mats and things in there. Then there’s a few other storage rooms past that. The couch is…somewhere. It might be in the garage actually but we can move it wherever it fits.” As he spoke he drew out a box from beneath the desk, passing out the communicators.

The communicator could fit in the palm of her hand pretty easily when she was handed to her, giving a small bow and thanking the young man for it. "Ummm yeah sure, but I gotta go. My costume doesn't have pockets to hold my phone or anything. Don't want to worry the folks you know." Orca said with a small nervous laugh, soon responding to Lucky "A bruiser? I mean I'm not a rough person but maybe.....contact me with these things so I know how they work. I really need to go." She said without a second thought ran from the site hopefully she can get there before daybreak.

Reaching into her swimming suit looking around the alleyway of her shop like house, a bronze key with a hello kitty key chain attached to it, muttering to herself "I really need pockets" before opening the door and closing it behind himself. Tossing the communicator onto her mattress and sitting next to it. "Does....this make me a hero?" the large woman asked herself before the shock of what happened came to her.

Kage looked around the place in slight disquist due to the smell from the trashcan but other then that she liked the design of it as I was simple and easy to get around "so what are we supposed to train in the place that is set up to be our room for now" she said tilting her head to show she was curios about where they would train, sleep, and eat for the time being

Aram looked at the pink haired girl, Lucky, who asked him a question. "Oh, uh, the lead flier from earlier dropped a bag and Mason went to retrieve it. I went along with him." He replied. He seemed to understand why she had not noticed it from earlier. Considering the fact that it happened rather quickly and that she was busy with taking down the other guards, it was understandable why she didn't notice.

He then turned and began to follow Robin as he gave them a basic tour of the place. It was obvious unfinished and Aram really didn't expect anything else. After all, from the outside, you could see that it was still being renovated. He did keep to mind what was barely finished and where they could go. It was still better than the little cottage he lived in. He followed Robin inside the room and immediately took notice of the filled garbage can. He made a mental note to clean that later. If anything, he hated seeing garbage.

He then watched the security footage of the city. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary and the police line wasn't saying anything either. Aram looked around once more, eyes scanning the perimeter. It was obvious that most of the electronics hadn't been installed yet. He wondered when all of these would be done, he was really curious on what the tower would look like after it's done. He had only heard of the Teen Titan's original tower so he was looking forward to seeing it.

He then took the communicator that was handed to him. He looked at it and then examined it. After a while, he figured out how to use it and then clipped it onto his pants. "I'll look for the couch then. Anyone wanna come with?" He asked. He liked the idea of sleeping on it; if anything, he didn't want to sleep with the others in fear that he may accidentally touch them while they're all sleeping and he wasn't sure if his powers still worked while he's unconscious but he couldn't risk it.

Will hadn't woken up that night. It was a long day of alcohol, clubs and busting down more human trafficking rings whilst downing another entire bottle of wine. Needless to say he was a bit hung over. He awakes to find two pink pills on his nightstand, which alarmed him for a moment... before he realized they were benadryls. Did he seriously mix alcohol and night time benadryl? Well. Hadn't killed him yet. But he was sure his liver must be pickled.

He felt his phone buzzing under his ass, digging around for a moment to fish it out but momentarily focusing on his bare, scarred abdomen. He bites his lip before finally checking caller I.D. 'Wonder Witch'. Great. Apparently he'd missed three of her calls? Why!? Oh wait. Yeah, that. Guess he'd better get off his lazy ass.

Hauling himself out of bed, the amazonian groans, just wanting to go back to sleep. He supposed he was late enough, going back to sleep would accomplish nothing. He threw on a white tee shirt, grey and white hoodie and rustles around his his drawers to find his makeup. Will finds himself to be almost out, but he had enough for today. He covered the dark marks around his throat and his wrists from where leather straps had once worn the skin away, leaving deep scars in their wake. Although they were unnoticeable with this concealer. It was the kind they give burn victims to hide some of the disfigurement. The normal routine involved lots of makeup, his contacts and a good bit of tugging on his clothing to assure himself they'd cover everything.

Moving his whip to his belt and pulling on his boots he was out the door, on his way to titans tower. His phone just kept ringing, the tone of the wizard of Oz's wicked witch of the west theme playing almost on never ending loop.Annoyed, Will finally answers.

"For christs sake, what!?"

"Will! You're late! You were supposed to show up two hours ago!" Diana groans. The blonde rolling his eyes in pure irritation.
"On my way now. Overslept."
"...Are you drunk? I swear to-"
"Goodbye." Will hangs up abruptly. He wasn't drunk. Just miserable.

Join the titans, she said. It'll be fun, she said.

Lucky watches the unsealing of the secret entrance into the under-construction quarters of the Teen Titans. And there's a look of barely restrained glee on her face, the kind that suggests she'd be giggling in delight if she wasn't self-conscious about her dignity.

The garage packed with supplies dampens her enthusiasm somewhat. This isn't glamorous at all, so far. Though Lucky well remembers when the Hive Five managed to take the Teen Titans' Tower from them and themselves up in style there. Surely this place would be at least as grand eventually.

Upon entering the room filled with electronics and gadgets, Lucky's gaze is drawn irresistably to the pile of pizza boxes on top of the garbage can. Sighing, she pulls away from the others and sets to breaking down the boxes, only to bypass the garbage itself and find a box to store the cardboard in for recycling. She then proceeds to tidy up a bit while the boys talk. Lucky makes a note of the rooms Robin points out. But it's when he produces a box of communicators that her pink eyes really (and literally) light up.

When Boy Wonder places a communicator in her hands, Lucky's facial expression is somewhere between "A communicator of my very own to love and cherish and call George" and "My precious!"

WhyNot WhyNot
When Orca turns to leave, Lucky gives the other woman a friendly wave. "Girls never have pockets," she comments in commiseration. "It's a conspiracy."

"Not a rough person?" the pink-haired girl adds in surprise, eyeing Orca once again. "Too bad. You look like you'd be fantastic at it. Better than the rest of us."

And once Orca's home, while Lucky at the same time plants herself on a cot in one of the Titans' training rooms, she gets a call from the pink-haired girl. "This is Lucky to Orca. Push the little symbol there and you can speak into it. Just showing you how it works, that's all. Hope your folks are fine and not worried about you."

raven flame raven flame
Lucky shares Kage's dislike for the condition of the place, and already went to work cleaning up. At the other girl's question, though, the pink-haired Lucky chuckles. "Or we could wait until this place is built to move into real rooms. Maybe it'd go faster if we helped. Many hands make light work and all." Then she glances down at her hands and her lips twist in dissatisfaciton. "Well, maybe not my hands."

AI10100 AI10100
"Dropped a bag?" Lucky repeats back to Aram. "That's good. What's in it?"

She's plainly able to wait until they actually get inside the Titans' base to peek at the bag in more detail, though. Priorities and all. Once she wraps up her call with Orca, Lucky heads over to see what's up with the mysterious bag. Seeing people heading to bed instead, she just shrugs and says "I have a cot, thanks though."

Robin stared for perhaps a moment too long when he handed Ji- Lucky the communicator. She had glowed at receiving it, like, literally. He half expected her to float off the ground or something. The obvious love of the thing, even with the joking comment gave him a pang of guilt. He had never gotten around to getting the Jinx in his realm a true communicator, had she wanted it that badly?

Setting the matter aside, since there was little he could do about it now, he looked to the rest. Were they really that offended about his living conditions? He kept it not smelling bad. Certainly it was better than how the kitchen at his original tower could sometimes get before Starfire or Raven started threatening them to clean it. His eyes skated over the pile Lucky had gone through. Okay, maybe he could have been a bit better about that. More thoughts for the future since people seemed to be drifting a little bit.

“I’ll help you get the couch once we look and see what our mystery flier dropped. It might give us an idea of who they are, or what they want.” Plus, it was a good idea to know what kind of danger was actually sitting in the…leather? Bag. It certainly looked like a leather somewhat backpack. Robin gestured for it even as he continued speaking, addressing mainly Kage, although the information would be good for everyone. “The rest of the tower should be done by next week according to Cyborg. He wanted to push actually getting it up and running until a few people joined so that any specific room modifications could be done easier. Something about alien tech and playing with gadgets so the training room won’t actually be down that long. Plus, it’s a really big room. We could all sleep in it and have enough room still to train.”

Unhooking the clasp on the bag he moved a few items off the mostly clear anyway table and tipped the contents out. The side and front pouches followed although he didn’t dump them out, he didn’t want to make his guilt at clearly tipping over someone’s life any worse. Setting the bag off to the side he reached out to move what was rather obviously spare clothing aside, along with the armor that under his fingers felt more like leather backed by Kevlar than anything else. It seemed so light but then again, this was alien tech, or at least interdimensional tech from being with bullet proof wings. He was going to assume that the armor was as projectile proof as the wings had turned out to be. Plus, there was the whole thing that one of them had tossed Kage off despite her clawing at him. His searching uncovered the locked metal box, his fingers tracing over it. “This is probably what they were after, or the tech that was in the front but that looks…scavenged. Either that or the rod that was with the snacks.” He hesitated to call the stash snacks. There was enough there for a couple of days of flat out running.

Will'd walked all the way from his apartment on the other side of the city to the tower, having stopped by star bucks on the way and showed up with a double espresso peppermint mocha, with extra-whipped cream. The door opened for him, almost as if he was already programmed in. Gee wonder who did that. Upon entering the tower, he was sure the place was still a work in progress.

He was beginning to be glad he had his own place until this place was done. Then again he was certain getting his piano into a room would be a nightmare. Not that he couldn't lift it, he was just wondering if there was a door big enough for it. A lot of the crazy things he took on as a kid for mom's attention just fell off as soon as he realized they weren't working, but two did stick with him. Will still regularly played piano, cello and guitar, and Will still skated. Hell he met with his friend Isroh once a week to do so and they rented out the rink for a few hours.

Sorry I'm late! Long night. He yawns, still a bit sleepy from the whole mess he dealt with earlier. He was still certain he had blood under his fingernails or something. Nothing a good manicure wouldn't fix.

I miss anything, or just the introductory 'welcome to the whatever thing.' Will asks in possibly the least caring manner ever, boot digging into the carpet and adjusting his sleeve to cover the scar on his wrist.
