It has been 15 years exactly since the fall of Gotham and the rise of Slade. The original Titans have fallen and it seemed as though all hope was lost for Gotham. Little did the self proclaimed ruler of Gotham know of a few heroes that would soon rise and overthrow his dictatorship: the new Teen Titans.


After a long and hard day of working as dictator, a sudden news broadcast alerts Deathstroke of his impending doom....

This just in from Gotham's recently bankrupted forecast, brought to you by our Lord and savior Deathstroke. Reports have shown a crime decrease in lower Gotham. Locals have stated a mysterious shadow like creature as well as a somewhat cryptic message left on the abandoned Arkham Asylum. Here is a documented picture.





Our sources also have concluded that a body was found right next to the graffiti but the photo cannot be displayed as it breaks all privacy policies. It is, however, safe to say that whomever has done the graffiti has certainly committed the crime. Despite this crime, the area seems safer for most and the local soup kitchen is now back in business, serving those in desperate need of food. In other news...

The role play will take place with the Titans discussing their next move on Deathstroke. It is safe to assume that they've already made their team, but have not elected a leader, which can become the next objective of the group.

Gotham was a mess. Ruins on ruins on ruins on ruins, all because of one man. Terra Logan had a particular disliking towards the man from what he did to this very town. In most cases, she wouldn't have bothered to join a team; she would've stayed in Africa with her biological father, trained a bit more, maybe even send a letter to her adopted parents who chose to come back to Gotham. Little did Terra know of the destruction of Gotham and just how severe it was. Little did she know that she would join a team of teens who would take it upon themselves to destroy Deathstroke. And little did she know she'd become Beast Girl. She chose the name, not her father surprisingly. He wanted her to be called Terra. Just Terra. But Terra hated the name more than anything. She first loved being named after her mother, but as she learned more about her mother's treachery, how she broke her father's heart, she learned to despise the name, and the very existence of her mother and Deathstroke. So she chose Beast Girl, as a symbol that she was not her mother in any shape, way, or form.


She was sitting in the main lobby of the newly built tower. It kept it's original look as yet another symbol for Deathstroke. The team had recently been formed. And when she said recently, more like a week ago. They didn't even have a team leader yet, which would probably be the reason why each person was alerted to meet in the lobby. She obviously chose the couch, wrapping her arms around her and waiting for anyone else to pop up. This discussion would surely be messy, but Terra decided that she wouldn't partake in it. She would be fine with just being on the sideline.

Max had almost lost hope from the moment he entered Gotham. Before arriving, he figured it would be a fun gig, to join the New Teen Titans and fight crime together as the solution for the city. However, upon getting dropped off by the drunk Taxi driver, he was unable to keep the grimy atmosphere of the place from infect him like a virus. Even now, he fought an internal battle to keep a positive outlook, but his surroundings kept destroying that illusion. Half tempted to turn back and return to his home town, the only thing that kept him going now was the thought of making his parents proud. Now standing before the Titans Tower, Robin sighed and looked down at the invitation in his hand, rereading it carefully before tucking it away for good. This Was Gotham, and he was still coming to terms with his new home as he slowly knocked on the door. "It won't be so bad" Robin told himself, then sighed. Perhaps, there was a solution behind that door, atleast he wished it to be so.

Cyborg approuched the titan tower main door looking up at the tower that would be their headquarters. As a headquarters it seemed the most obvious place to meet out, whether it was too obvious to be genuinely considered as hiding place for them by Deathstroke or no she didnt know and it worried her. Part of her wanted to just go and hide in the Gotham ruins like she used to and not let these people risk her task. Than again she couldnt do it on her own as much as she wanted to and these people were her best best pissible companions to have for this task.


As she approuched wearing her civilian guise, she found one of her new companions and took in a deep breath trying to get back to her own persona. She went to approuch him and forced a smile, the other titans would never accept her she truely was and to keep them as allies she needed to befriend them as best as she could. "Hey.. Robin, right?" She asked.

Robin had slightly lowered his gaze, starting to question if joining the team was even worth it. It seemed that taking in the atmosphere of the city for too long was detrimental to his mood, and he only wanted to escape it all by getting inside the Tower. So caught up in his thoughts was he, that he didn't take any notice of another person approaching from behind. Upon being addressed by Jennifer, the boy wonder turned his head quickly to look over at her, slightly surprised and put off that he had lowered his guard around such an obvious location. "Huh?" He stuttered, taking in the sight of this slightly Gothic themed girl "Oh, yeah. That's me" Robin gave a friendly smile, his upbeat personality resurfacing upon social interaction. "The latest of many, How'd you guess?" The last bit was added jokingly, and perhaps to stall as he tried to figure out who exactly she was. Since he was only seeing her artificial skin costume, he had no idea that she was actually cybernetic, and wasn't really sure if she was some random civilian who had recognized a vigilante or if she was a future team mate. Either way, he maintained an air of caution about himself, as he felt that losing your guard in this city could be fatal. "You look like you're from a Matrix movie, who are you?" As usual, Robin tried to ease the atmosphere, hide his doubts. Thoughtfully, his hand had been placed on the door as he prepared to knock again.

Interesting. Terra seemed to turn her head to the new voices and lifted a sculpted eyebrow at the two. One seemed to be a gothic like girl, and as she listened to the conversation, her appearance made more sense. She had studied the original Teen Titans and it dawned on her how exact their team was. There was Robin, mostly the Robin 2.0 of the team. And then there was the robotic girl who would most likely replace the original cyborg. And then there was her. It was obvious who'd she replace. Beast Boy. Wrapping her hands around her body, she finally got off the couch and opened the main door, "it's been open for a while." She regretted her statement immediately. She didn't mean to sound apathetic and cold. She never did. It was simply her voice. Maybe that's why her father stated how similar she was to the original Terra. But she couldn't take it back now. She smiled slightly and walked back to the main lobby, plopping on the couch and crossing her legs, "there's food in the kitchen, but most of it is vegetarian."

Jenefer chuckled a little surprised she wasn't recognised but in the end it was a good thing, means the disguise she put was worth the damn trouble she had to go to put it on. It was like wearing a diving suit and it was difficult enough to put on normally, nearly impossible when her prosthetics kept seizing due to the weird ankles she had to move her arms to put them though the sleeves, "I am the "robot" remember? The star labs job."She explained before extending her hand though it froze half way up and her hand circled on it's own."Goddamit..."She said enable to control the movement."Never mind, I will worry about it later... Jennifer you can call me... How who you in your civics. .. well my mind is a computer, makes connections... heigh, weight... "


She paused when she heard Terra and nodded. "Thank you..."She said before indicating to Robin to enter. "The veg sounds fine I only it for flavour."

 

[Field Marshall]

Jason flew over the ruins of Gotham in his Blue Beetle armor, he looked down at the city and remarked "so different from Central City." Then the scarab spoke into his mind Deathstroke must be eviscerated, presents great danger. Recommend wiping out the the town with Deathstroke in it, put these sorry humans out of their misery. "I am not letting you do that." he said to the Scarab spesking aloud as he landed on top fo the Titans Tower. He made his way from the Roof to the living room, he entered with his usual smile and aura of happiness. The helmet of the armor peeled off his head as he greeted those present before making a BEEtle line for the fridge.

"Jennifer huh? You really get strait to the point, I would've been satisfied to just know your alias, but atleast this saves me the trouble" Robin replied, now showing more of his excitement to meet the new team. "I'll assume you've got Cyborg technology, right? You seemed completely human at first,," His voice trailed off as a thought entered his mind, How human was she exactly? Was he talking to a robot imitation of a person? "If you think you're so good at making connections, why bother asking for my real name? You should figure it out on your own" Robin gave a challenging smile, then looked over at the door when it opened.


"Oh, guess I should've tried the door nob, didn't expect security around here to be so low" Robin joked, ready for some small talk, but was surprised when Terra immediately retreat into the tower. Already he could tell that things around here would be interesting, and perhaps for the better. Not needing to be invited in twice, the young man quickly stepped inside the Titans Tower and made his way towards the main room. The entire way, he was looking around in pure curiosity, pondering how many people were still on their way. "Blue Beetle" Robin greeted, watching with amusement as the other hero took great interest in the fridge.

"I could maybe but were is the fun, mystery and personal touch of learning about someone with human conversation." She said smiling back following him up the tower taking in everything with her cybernetic eyes. Other hallways, security, building layout and compasition amongst others all recorded and kept in her mind. "I suppose it had some sense, high security indicates something worth protecting and we don't need any more attention then a big t shaped building. "She commented before walking up to one of the couches and sat down and began repairing her stiff arm, pulling up her skin like a sleeve exposing her cybernetic.

"Someone's hungry." The girl seemed to mutter under her breath as she followed the beetle towards the fridge. Pushing him slightly, she let out a small smirk, "hogging never suited you, and I swear, if anyone eats my tofu steak, I will literally eat them." Just for once, things seemed to be normal for the team. Grabbing a plate, the girl placed the tofu steak on it and put it in the micro wave, waiting for the glorious sound alerting everyone that the food was warmed up. Taking the plate out, the girl shoved a forkful of the delicious food into her mouth before spitting it out. "UGh!" Of course with her luck it'd be rotten. I was really looking forward to that.


But her glances couldn't help but land on the robotic woman in the house. It was odd for Terra to see, she'd never seen someone so beautifully built, but there was something almost haunting about it that put Terra on her toes.

Jennifer was working on the wires in her arms to get it moving when she felt eyes on her and a quick glance up from her work she noted Tetra. A bit of irritation build up inside her, still not used to the attractions the fact she was a cyborg got her whether it was facination or revulsion. Either way it made her feel like a freak. "You want to take a picture? It last longer. "She said jokingly to Terra, her irritation very well hidden. "You have questions? I am used to a little interest in me."

"I'm the master of conversation,,," Robin stated vaguely, then smirked and glanced over at the two, amused by the interaction that was going on. "Feisty" He chuckled, then made his way to the fridge as he also felt tempted to check it out. Reaching inside, the young man grabbed a soda after inspected all of the vegetarian food. Despite not really adhering to that life style himself, he figured he wouldn't mind trying that food out to see what it was like. For now, the boy wonder took a sip as he eyed the entire room, deciding to do some exploring once they had all grown acquainted. For the time being, he was lifted out of the misery of the city around him.

Terra seemed to let out a chortle, that almost sounded nervous, when the cyborg caught her eye, "I was just admiring your wiring is all. I haven't seen such intricate technology in quite a while." She wasn't lying. But she wasn't telling the truth. In actuality, she really hadn't seen technology that advanced in quite a while, but at the same time, she couldn't just cause conflict. She rolled her eyes at Robin's comment and bit her tongue from replying something snarky. Remember Terra. You have to make friends, not enemies.

"Intricate piece of crap, this is the third time this week I hadon't to fix it... Or I am really bad bio whatever." She said finally finishing with the repair and tested her arm, it was moving as normal at least for now."So you are.... Beast girl right? Still trying to make sure I got the data right."

Myles sped through the city streets faster than the human eye can see and focused in on the large 'T' tower. He sped up and instead of slowing down to go through the front door, he ran straight up the side of the building and jumped onto the roof. Myles took a moment to look out over the ruins of Gotham and a dark look crossed his face. Then, in a flash, it was gone. Myles made his way to the living room with an easy smile. "Looks like there's a party going. Hope it wasn't anyone's birthday." Myles said with a grin. "Because I don't have any presents."

"The one and only. Unless you know another Beast Girl." The girl seemed to eye the tofu steak once more before tossing it away. Such a waste. "And you must be Cy-" She was interrupted by the speedster. She didn't want to admit her dislike to him. Because she didn't really dislike him. She found him annoying, that's all. That wasn't a bad thing, finding someone annoying. She was only human, sort of. "No party. Just a gathering." She supposed it was time to show everyone what interesting paper she found, "about this." On it, in a rather messy handwriting, was a message for everyone part of the team:

It seems you have created your own little team. How cute. Will it be better than the original? I highly doubt it. The original Teen Titans will always be dear to my heart, and to know that their replacements are trying again brings shame to the name. Do you even have a leader?

"Found it taped on the front door." She tossed it on the table in the kitchen before leaning on the table, "it does bring up a valid point."

 

[Knightling]

Robin looked over at the speedster in surprise, also quite startled at the sudden appearance. "Parties in This city? get outta here" He joked, turning his head to the window at the gloomy streets. Folding his arms, he sat in a chair and couldn't help but steal a glance at the cyborgs revealed arm, this was his first time seeing her true form. Clearing his throat, the Boy Wonder glanced at the paper and narrowed his eyes, feeling a little self conscious. The Robin was usually the one known for taking charge, but he was no Grayson, and wasn't exactly willing to try getting the roll. "Isn't that a bit early? I mean, we all just met and only got through our first impressions. I say we give it more time"

Myles looked down at the note and shook his head. "Looks like our good buddy Slade left us a love letter." He looked over at Robin and nodded his head. "Boy Wonder makes a good point. We should get used to each other. Become a more cohesive unit. Then, we can worry about leaders." Myles walked over to the refrigerator and groaned at the vegetables. "We're gonna need so much more food."

Terra seemed to roll her eyes mentally at the vegetable remarks. What was wrong with vegetables? They were nutritious. "For once. I disagree with Boy Wonder." Her voice seemed firm as she moved to the couch and crossed her legs, "he already sees us as a nonexistent threat. If we elect a leader right now, he won't suspect a thing. The earlier the better." She smiled and peeked at everyone in the room, "besides, as much as I love you guys," her voice seemed to ooze sarcasm in the last bit, "I rather not get to know anymore about Speedy than I already do know."

Jason grabbed a peach and began eating it as he watched the others talk. He only walked over when the letter was presented to the group. Then the topic of leadership came up and the scarab spoke into his mind. You should take leadership of these misfits and whip them into shape. That green girl is an odd one. Robin over there doesn't seem to be the proactive type. Jason decided to humor the scarab and ask "So what kind of person should be leader and on what criteria should we elect one?"

 

[Knightling]

"We're following the criteria of the color Green and Red" Robin joked, then stood up and began to pace "But in all honesty, the leader needs to work well with others" He paused and cast a humored smile at Terra "That eliminates You" He leaned against the wall and grabbed an apple "I don't want to hog all the opportunities around here, but if nobody else gets to step up,," He hinted, then took a bite casually.

It was hard not to bite back, literally. It was very very hard not to turn into some kind of large animal and slap the Boy Wonder. "That could be one important factor, but we also need someone who doesn't have an ego." Smiling, she uncrossed her legs, only to cross them once more. "Definitely not hinting at anyone, but..." she smiled once more. She got up this time and walked back over to the fridge, grabbing anything to appease her angry stomach and sat back down, before taking a rather large chunk of the fruit in her hand.

"That hurts, Beastie." Myles said with his hand over his chest and smiled again. "You are all making fair points. We are in need of a leader and we need to determine who that is. And since none of us really seems to be the leader-type. Why don't we all take a seat and people who want to be leader can make their case. So, it is easier to decide." Myles dropped down on the couch and crossed his arms behind his head. All of this talk was getting them nowhere. Hopefully this would.

"Ouch,," Robin smirked and bit his lip, feigning disappointment. Shifting in his chair, the young man took another bite from the apple and simply observed. Already, he was starting to get a feel of what kind of group this would be, and he took the information in with stride. "I'm fine with that plan" He stated before folding his arms. Just now he realized the perfect opportunity to take jab back at Terra, but resisted the urge this time.
