I'd suggest MCU, Terminator, or Fallout. I think those are the closest to Halo, so I think it's the best fit. Nothing has happened in Fallout. Only Character intros have happened in Terminator. In the MCU, SHIELD and XCOM have been fighting Orks and have been introducing themselves.

The only thing that happened in Fallout was Harleen and Groot arriving there via a tear.
