  When Tas was 6, his mother found him levitating his favorite toy, a plastic cat that squeaked when you squeezed it. His mother was mortified. All she had ever wanted to be was normal, and now her son was a wizard. She beat Tas countless times, thinking that if Tas were to expect punishments, he would stop using his powers. And he did. He did his best to stop using them, but he was so powerful, he couldn't stop himself. He touched a rose bud, it bloomed. He got a scrape on his knee; it healed in a matter of seconds. No matter what he did, he haunted him. He hated this gift he had, because his mother made him feel as if it was a curse. Tas, now 15, roamed the streets of their village a lot, trying to escape from his mother. One time, he found a small white ferret in an alleyway, hurt. It was bleeding. He ran over to it, and picked it up. Slowly, it's wounds healed, and Tas set it down, but the ferret would not go away. It climbed up to Tas' shoulder and perched itself there, licking his cheek as thanks. Tas would have done anything to bring him home, but he could not. Tas set the ferret down and explained to it how he couldn't take it home. It gave him one last lick and scurried off, but Tas kept seeing it around the city, always watching him. Tas named it Takoo. And whenever he would go into the city, he'd bring it some scraps of food. They became good friends, the only friend Tas ever had, other than Charles. Tas had a younger brother. His name was Charles. Charles looked up to Tas as if he was his father. They both loved each other to death, and Charles could not stand to see Tas be beat for the gift he had. Even though Tas did everything he could not to use his powers, he would always break that rules for Charles, healing his cuts and scrapes when he fell, levitating his toys for amusement. One day, Tas brought home a worn out doll he found in the street for Charles. Charles was ecstatic. He asked Tas to make it dance in the air, and Tas did so. Their mother walked in on this. She started to scream, and gave Tas the worst beating he had ever had. After that, Tas' mother told him to leave. Get lost. Charles started to cry, screaming, trying to stop his mother. But Tas just nodded solemnly and turned and ran. Charles cried until Tas was gone. The one thing that Charles noticed was the small white ferret that had followed Tas. Ever since then, Takoo and Tas have been travelling, trying to find a home, but to no avail. They are wanderers.

  Tas is not aware of all the things he can do. Right now, he can heal, and cause plants or flowers to grow or die.

  Tas carries numerous potions sin his belt and his dagger, the only thing he has from his father. He found it in his mother's drawers one day and kept it close to him every since. Since she never cared for their father, she never noticed.

  Tas travels with his friend Takoo. Takoo comes and goes as he pleases, but whenever Tas calls, he comes running.
