Fantasy Tangled Memories

Cyra stepped into the house and glanced around uncomfortably. Footsteps echoed and another girl came down the stairs. She warmly welcomed Cyra to the house, instantly making her feel slightly better. "Are you Rin's sister?" she asked the girl. "My name is Cyra. It's nice to meet you." She stuck out her hand in greeting.

"Mom, we`ve got another guest. This is Cyra."Rin said to her mother, pointing to Cyra, who was meeting Reika. "Is dinner done?"She asked, and when her mom nodded, she took a place at the table. "Reika, Cyra, come eat!"She called to the older girls. She also waved in greeting to Reika. She then looked to the table, smiling happily at the meal of corn on the cob, grean beans, and Hawaiian spiced chicken.

Reika gazed softly at the other girl, who just introduced herself as Cyra. It was a nice name. There was a momentary silence when Reika was asked if she was Rin's sister. It was as if she was still considering or trying to remember if she was. "She just found me," she muttered finally, and shook the other's hand. More warmth. It was very pleasing. "Cyra... It's nice to meet you too. I'm Reika."

When called to dinner, the brown-haired girl looked over at the very inviting meal and nodded. She could use some food. She was kind of hungry ever since earlier, when she had mysteriously woken up. She took her place and sat on a chair beside Rin. She spent nearly minutes, gazing in amazement at the great food in front of them. "Thank you for the food," she said, though she wasn't sure why. It was as if that was what she'd do every time.

Cyra nodded, as she was in the same boat as Reika, and followed her into the kitchen. She smelled the food before she saw it, and it smelled like heaven. Her stomach grumbled loudly, letting her know that she probably hadn't eaten in a while. She sat down at the table and piled food high on her plate. She could have eaten a horse right about now, not that she was going to. "This is A. Maze. Ing." She mumbled around the food in her mouth.

"Glad you like it."Came the words from Rin`s mother. Rin went ahead and began filling her plate, only putting a few pieces of chicken, a cob, and a spoon full of green beans on her plate. She began to eat, as her mother took the last spot at the table. Her head began to hurt again, as another power surge began, this time at an indeterminable location. She ignored it, and continued eating.

((Okay, after the food will be The Doorman`s awakening. ))

Rin finished eating, then excused herself from the table. "I`ll be back in a while! Reika, do you mind helping Cyra get settled? There are extra blanket sin a closet in the living room. She can stay with me. There`s an air mattress in the closet too, along with the pump."Rin said, as she ran out the door. She set course for the latest power sure, which seemed to come from a old building on the outskirts of town. She made for a bus, and got on, setting course for the stop closest to the location.

When the bus stopped at her stop, she exited, again heaping towards the old house. She stopped at the door, testing i and jumping back as it fell in, the hinges having broken. She sighed, then stepped inside, making her way to the source of the power. There, on the floor of what seemed to be a kitchen, was a boy. Not far off, close to the table was another girl. Both where uncontentious. "Hey, are you okay?"She asked the boy, crouching near him, and glancing up nervously at the boards holding up the second floor.

((@The Doorman ))

Michael's eyes flashed open, bright like the headlights of a car but frightened like the deer within the headlights of a car. He was shocked into the world of wake by a sharp pain in his back, "Oh, ow ow ow!" He winced, awkwardly rolling onto his stomach and pulling himself from the ground with his legs, pushing with his palms, some point in his spine emitting a crack and bringing relief to the boy, though he faced away from the young girl he had yet to learn the name of, that quickly changed as he turned around, "Yes, I'm okay..." He then stopped, pursing his lips a moment while he considered his situation, soon looking back at the girl after the center of his right eyebrow quit twitching, "Wait, I do inquire... Who might you be?" He tilted his head, jumping at the sudden movement of the hood on the gray jacket he didn't quite remember wearing, followed by a quiet sneeze as the dust and rust floating in the air flooded his source of scent collection. "E-Excuse me..." He blushed faintly, a genuinely friendly smile still remaining, still gentle, still as it was once he'd rid himself of his back pain. "Uhuhu, wow, I feel so old." He gave a kind-hearted chuckle and returned to listening for the girl's response.

Rin let out a sigh of relief, then moved over to the other girl as she responded to the question. "I`m Rin."She said, then spoke to the girl. "Hey, wake up."She shook her lightly, then smiled as her eyes opened and she began to sit up. "Where am I?"She asked, looking around. Rin returned to the boy, looking over visually to be sure of no injuries. At this time, involuntary again, "Come. Let us find out your past, present, and future. Let us find who you are." She sighed, giving in to the feeling at this would happen every time and asked the names of both people. She also introduced herself to the girl.

Izzy blinked at the girl as she moved away, going to a boy not far away She began to think this girl was crazy, when she started talking about finding their past, present and future. But, oddly enough, she trusted this girl. "I`m Izzy. Nice to meet you Rin."She replied to the question.

"I'm Michael, i-it's nice to meet you both, however sudden our meeting may be." He still smiled, he couldn't help it, he could see light outside and it gave him an odd sense of joy and relief, he was a man of optimism after all, positivity was all he really knew aside from those bad times he locked away in the depths of his mind. "Past... Present and futureILOVECHRISTMASISWEAR!" He half joked, hoping she wasn't actually here to be a ghost of past, present, or future, for the Izzy's sake and on a much lesser part, his own.

Rin giggled, then stood. "This house isn`t trustworthy, we should get out of here."She said, holding her hand out to Izzy, having moved over to the girl as she talked. As she waited, she kept her eyes on Michael, watching for a response.

Izzy glanced up and around, then grabbed Rin`s hand pulling herself up. She nodded in agreement to getting out of there. She, also, laughed a bit at Michael`s joke. She looked to the other, ready to leave.

Michael rose on shaky legs, "Oh, I see... Um..." He heard the floor begin to creak over his head and began to panic, "Oh my, uh, we should just-!" At the sound of something falling behind him, and without another word he ran out, taking a hold of Rin's hand on his way to the door. After he pulled the two girls outside he felt relief flow over him, turning his head in time to watch one of the boards fall to the floor, soon followed by the rest, a loud bang sounding as the entirety of the second floor fell through, blowing out a storm of dust. "My goodness! Did you predict that, Miss Rin?"

Rin held tight to Izzy`s hand as Michael grabbed her other hand, pulling them all out of the building. she jumped slightly as the second floor caved in. She looked to Michael, knowing that had they still been in there, they would have been hurt, or killed. "I didn`t predict it. That house as been close to falling for years now."She replied.

Izzy covered her mouth as dust blew from the house, sending them all to be covered in it. She turned to the other two, watching and listening to their conversation. -short-

Reika ate along with Cyra and Rin, and looked up as the younger girl said that she would go outside once again. It barely crossed Reika's mind, why she'd do that. After listening to what Rin said, Reika just nodded elatedly. "All right. Have fun." She gave a little wave and ate a piece of the deliciously-cooked chicken. So that was what she smelled earlier. It was a whole lot of a better and more scrumptious experience, now that she was eating it herself.

The blankets and air mattress at the living room. She couldn't forget that task that was just assigned to her. After eating the delicious food that she thought she'd never stop eating, Reika stood, bowed, and said,
"Thank you for the food". For some reason, she was to say that in another language, one that she seemed to be once familiar with. Setting the thought aside, Reika headed for the living room, which was that other room by the kitchen, and looked around before opening one closet there.

Nothing. She tilted her head slightly. At her right was another closet, which when she opened, now revealed the items that Rin told her to take out earlier. With a faint triumphant smile, Reika gently took them from where they once were, and laid them on the floor. This was for Cyra and Rin, she knew. But now that she had them, she wasn't sure what to do with them. Reika nearly stared at the blankets, and placed them on top of the mattress that would soon have the air it needed.

Cyra was only slightly aware when Rin told them she'd be going out for a little bit. Mostly, she was focused on the food on her plate and in her mouth. It was, for the record, absolutely the best meal she had eaten. Well, it was really the only food she could remember eating, but does that even count? By the time Cyra looked up from her finally finished plate, Rin had gone and Reika was no longer eating, either. I wonder what I should do now, she thought to herself, thanking Rin's mother for the food. Seeing as it was still a little light outside, she decided to sit in front of the house and think about what had happened in the past however long it had been since she woke up.

(Trying to bring this back because I like the idea.)
