Fantasy Tangled Memories

Sayomi

Cat in Disguise
A inescapable blackness surrounds you, blocking out any light, or hope. "Who are you?"A faint whisper calls, the voice that of a young girl. "Who am I? Where am I?" Your own voice replies. You have no memory of a name, family, friends, or home. "Silly, that`s what I asked you."The voice replied with a light giggle. The blackness begins to fade and the silhouette of a young girl begins entering your sights. She is holding out her hand, and saying, "Come. Let us find out your past, present, and future. Let us find who you are.". Your body begins moving, walking towards the girl. You take her hand, and are pulled from the darkness, into the light. What happens next? That, my friends, is a mystery to be solved.

  2. Try not to spam your posts. More than at least a paragraph per post, please. One liners are okay ONLY for dialogue.
  3. Swearing is allowed, but don`t abuse it.
  4. Romance is also allowed, but remember to fade to black if needed. (Following the RpN rules.)
  5. Please be kind to your fellow players.
  6. Please wait until I am able to use Rin(NPC) to awaken your characters before posting in the rp. Ill tag you in a post when that happens.

I have forgotten to mention, your characters are actually descending from another dimension, and have hence lost their memories and lives and are starting a new. Rin has the ability to sense when this happens, and thus why she is the one to awaken y`all. Just thought i`d clear that up.

Rin blinked, sensing something big happening from one of the towns parks. She went in the direction of the park, which had lots or trees and found a girl, who seemed to be out cold laying on the ground. "Who are you?"She asked, wondering if the girl could hear her. She would stand back among the trees, waiting for some kind of motion or reply.

@L u n a
--> This is your rp entry. You are the first to be accepted, thus the first to be awakened.))

Reika didn't know what was going on. She didn't know anything now, really. Only that she was in darkness. It wasn't like the darkness in the night or anything like it. It was... pure darkness. She couldn't say she liked that. She could only wonder too many things. A voice from nowhere interrupted her thoughts. Who am I?, she thought. She didn't know. All the girl could do was ask herself along. "Who am I? Where am I?"

"Silly. That`s what I asked you." Rin giggled, then held out her hand towards the girl. She hoped that this girl was becoming responsive again. "Come. Let us find out your past, present, and future. Let us find who you are."She said, the words coming out involuntarily. Little did Rin know, that this was a spell, that would help the girl out of the blackness. She watched, still holding out her hand to the girl.

@L u n a and everyone else. When awakening, you don`t have to say the same thing as in the intro.))

(Heh, sorry. >w<)

Upon hearing a response from the voice from earlier, Reika blinked in innocence. In doing so, she had woken up already, too. Finding who she was, as offered to her by the voice, seemed like a nice plan. Reika looked around and realized that wherever she was now, there were lots of trees around. She somehow liked the place. Light-brown eyes gazed at the little girl before her. Slowly, Reika reached with her hand, and held the other's. She slowly stood from the ground and nodded lightly.

Rin smiled, happy to see the girl up. "Do you have a name?"She asked, curious. Her head was pounding as she felt another surge of power from a park father into town. She ignored, it wanting to get this girl settled before she moved on. As she waited for the girls answer, she moved to her back, brushing off the others back, as the soil and grass had dirtied it.

"A name..." Reika muttered. She knew that everyone had names. It took her some seconds to try to remember hers. "Reika." The moment she said it, it felt like there were so much things and memories that clung to it. "That's my name," she said as she watched the younger girl get behind her and brush the back of the white dress she was wearing. "Thank you," she nodded with a faint smile. She looked below her, and felt her feet on ground and grass. The area she was in was one that she was not familiar with. Well, maybe, just a little. It looked like a park of some sort.

"No problem, Reika."She replied, finishing with the older girls back. She walked around to te front again and said, "So, would you like to go find a place to stay?"She gestured around, "A park isn`t really a pleasant place to sleep day in and day out."She finished. She knew of a few places Reika could live, and she knew her mother wouldn`t mind helping the girl out.

Almost done here. once your settled in your living place, I`ll to kira blackthrons character. Feel free to continue your rping while I do so))

A place to stay, the younger girl said. The park didn't exactly seem like the right place to sleep in. Maybe if it had lots of cotton and plants, and the like, Reika could just stay and sleep on the softness. But she nodded nonetheless. "Yes, please," Reika said, still struck with the wonder of everything that existed and met her gaze so far. That new place seemed interesting enough to make her curious. This girl who she found--or found her--already piqued her interest very much, anyway.

Rin nodded, then grabbed Reika`s hand. "This way."She said, leading her from the park, setting course towards her own house. She had a feeling her mother would have a solution to the housing problem. As they went she continued to talk, "So, Reika. Do you want crab or chicken for dinner?"She asked, pretty sure the other hadn`t yet eaten.

Reika tagged along when she was led to wherever she'd be taken to. She spared a glance at the park before her gaze followed the girl, whom she was now holding hands with. She always liked to feel the warmth of another person. Reika, at first, considered this happening to be a dream. But the warmth felt too real to be so. The younger girl, whom she realized was yet to introduce herself, asked about dinner, and Reika felt her stomach growl. It seemed that she was indeed hungry. "Anything's fine," she said, her tone laced with pleasantness. She wasn't a picky eater anyway.

Reika gently squeezed the other's hand, just to get her attention. Though she didn't think the girl would ignore her anyway.
"Who are you?," she asked. The nice soul seemed like an angel to her already, due to the fact that normally, people might not just go picking up and helping ones in need.

"Who am I? Oh.. I did forget to introduce myself. I`m Rin, nice to meet you formally."She replied, pausing and smiling to Reika. By now, the door of the house was only a few steps ahead, so she released Reika`s hand. "This is my house. Mom can help you find a place to stay and i`ll ask her about dinner." She said, then went to the door, opening it and calling, "Mom! Im home! With company!". Her mother called back from the kitchen, with a welcome home. Rin turned, motioning Reika inside. She headed to the kitchen.

((Few more then we are done.))

((Yas~ Here I go~))

Rin, Reika thought. It's a nice name. She made sure to remember the name dearly. It was her first discovery upon waking in this familiar yet different place. "It's nice to meet you too," she said with a smile back. She looked over at the house upon her hand being released from the other's grip. It seemed to be the girl's--Rin's--home. She mentioned that, along with her mother, a place to stay, and dinner. Those were all good ideas to Reika.

The word
Mom seemed to wake something inside her, just like how warmer she felt when she heard the words Welcome home. It was as if there were things in her mind that were trying to remind her something. Acknowledging them faintly, Reika entered the house, closed the door behind her, and followed Rin into what seemed (or smelled) to be their kitchen. Whatever was cooking, it was very good.

"Smells good!"Rin said, hugging her mother. "Mom, this is Reika. She was laying in the park, so I helped her."She said, pointing to Reika. Her mother said hello and waved. "She needs a place to stay."she finished, looking to her mother still. Her mother turned fully to Reika and asked, "Would you like to stay here for a while, at least until we cn get you settled elsewhere? Theres an extra room upstairs.". Rin moved over to the table, pressing her fingers to her temple as her headache grew, the presence of another power urge arising. She removed her hand as it slowed and she looked to Reika.

((On my next post, i`ll go out to the next person. which is dragonslayr))

Reika stood silently and curiously, watching as Rin introduced her to her mother. The nice mother waved and hello'd, and Reika bowed slightly. "Hello," the girl muttered. "It's nice to meet you." She didn't even think about declining the invitation. She was interested in staying for a while in this home, as she felt the warmth, and honestly, was already attached to the scent of a mother's cooking. For some reason, these were enough to make her stay. "Yes, if you don't mind," Reika said with a smile. She was happy to stay here and discover more, as she knew she would in this home. She nodded again at the mention of an extra room, and glanced curiously at Rin. There seemed to be something wrong. "Are you all right?," Reika asked softly.

"Yes, I`m fine. Just need to step out for a while. Come I`ll show you your room."She said, leaving the kitchen and going up the stairs. She looked back to wave Reika up the stairs, then turned , continuing down the hallway and turned into the second to last door to the left. She stopped at the doorway, taking the dry erase marker and writing on the whiteboard attached to the door, as with all the doors. She wrote, 'Reika :D ' In her neatest handwirting, then pointed Reika in. "I`m gonna step out for a while. Make yourself at home. With that, Rin smiled, then went back downstairs, going out the door and taking off down the street, her headache returning. She set a course for the river.

((Room layout: @L u n a Fell free to continue your rping.

@dragonslayr This is your rp entry/awakening.))

Rin continued going from her house, going to the river. When it came into view, she slowed, scanning the banks. She spotted another girl, laying on the bank. She, like Reika, seemed to be unconscious. Rin moved closer, then spoke. "Are you alright?"She asked, hoping she would get a response. As she waited, she stayed a few steps back from the new girl.

Cyra sat bolt upright and almost screamed. She was in an unknown location, without any memories prior to this, and an unknown girl, who seemed to be waiting for a reply. The sound of a river permeated the air, calming her somewhat. Returning her gaze to the girl, she said, "I'm sorry, but did you ask me something?" Frantically, she tried to think of if she knew this girl, but couldn't recall anything besides her first name. "Do I... know you?"

"No you don`t. And I asked if your alright. Name`s Rin, nice to meet you."Rin explained, then introduced herself. She stuck her hand out to the girl, intending to help her off the ground. Again, involuntarily, came the words, "Come. Let us find out your past, present, and future. Let us find who you are." This time, the words seemed to be meant to help calm the other.

Cyra looked at Rin's hand, questioningly. "Okay... that was kind of creepy. But I would like to know about my past." She gripped the girl's hand and pulled herself up. Brushing herself off, she held out her own hand in greeting. "My name is Cyra, as far as I know. Where am I?" She glanced around the immediate area and didn't recognize anything at all.

"Nice to meet you, Cyra. Your near Central Falls, Rhode Island. The city is back that way." Rin pointed back behind her. "Would you like to go there now?"She asked, shaking Cyra`s hand, then releasing it. She knew that her mother probably had dinner done by now.

Cyra considered her options. She could stay here without a clue of where she was or who these people were, or she could go with this nice girl and not get lost. The choice seemed obvious, to her. She smiled and nodded. "Yeah, sounds great. I hope you're not some creepy ax murderer who brings me to her home and kills me, though."

"Nah. I wouldn`t do that."She said, giggling a bit at Cyra`s last words. "Come."She said, when she finished. She then turned and began walking away from the river, heading towards the town. 'I wonder how Reika`s doing.'She thought, then tried to figure out possible place Cyra could stay. She hoped her mother would be okay with meeting another new person today.

"That's good," Cyra said. She began following the girl, easily keeping pace with her. As they walked, she tried to take everything in, from the buildings to the street lamps. Hopefully, one of the things she saw would help trigger her memory. However, there's no such luck. "So, where are we going?" She asked, trying not to sound disappointed about her missing memories.

"My place. My mom`s probably done with dinner. We can eat, then find you a place to stay."Rin replied, looking to the older girl as they walked. She turned back to looking forward, seeing her house. She turned, walking up the path to the door. She opened it, then called out, "Mom, Reika, I`m home!' She heard the reply of welcome home from her mom, and headed to the kitchen, waving to Cyra to come in.

@L u n a as well))

Reika followed Rin silently towards upstairs. It wasn't long until they reached her room, which now had her name as a label up front. She waved Rin off, who seemed to be going outside again. "I'll see you," she said with a smile. Reika watched Rin go. Soon enough, she entered her room, which was spacious enough. She liked it that way.

Reika spent the next few and several seconds in that room, looking and walking around. There was a bookshelf, a desk, a bed, a window that let her marvel at nature itself... The place was grand enough for her. She let time pass as she just curiously poked and looked around the room in sheer splendor. She was just reading a book by the desk when she heard Rin's voice again. She couldn't help but wonder where the younger girl went then.

With a smile, the girl took the book she was reading with her, and stepped downstairs. When she peered at the kitchen, she saw another girl, a pretty one with red hair, with Rin. Could she have met the same fate as she? Reika muttered,
"Welcome home." It was nice to be able to say that, for some reason. Again, the warmth of having a home and doing so, she felt.
