Tane Manawa Kautarewa Hika
Intro: Tane Hika is a 20-year-old Moari Latent-Delta born and raised in New Zealand. He comes from a family of Latents from generations back who have mostly secluded themselves on their own small island. He and his family all have incredible strength and resilience. They all have the ability to partially transform into animals of his homeland. Even among his family Tane is a bit exceptional. He is seven feet tall and rather burly and the animal he canpartly transform into is the Haast's Eagle, far more impressive then the rest of his family's transformations. Seeking fame and honor for himself and his family he has journeyed to America to further develop his powers by maybe joining DSRT.
Appearance: Tane is very attractive and well built. His hair is black, wavy, and medium length. His eyes are a deep brown. He has elaborate tattoos on his right arm and shoulder and left leg.
Abilities: Tane had his Latent powers as far back as he could remember. But he only recent discovered his delta powers. He can drain and use the strength or energy of others he comes in physical contact with. If he touches someone long enough he thinks it might kill them, but this would take a long time and a good deal of effort on his part. The longer he touches someone the longer it takes for them to regain their energy. And he can control this power well, he can touch people without draining their strength at all or just sap a bit to increase his own strength slightly. About when his delta powers emerged he realized his transformation changed a bit as well. He can now fully transform into an eagle; he tends to spend a good deal of time in this form now.
Personality: He has a reverence for nature and a respect for all life. By American standards he has virtually no manners at all. He is bold and brash at times but he can also be kind and gentle, when he wants to be. He is always uncomfortable in clothes and prefers to be shirtless if not entirely naked at all times. He will often take to his eagle form to avoid wearing clothes. His ambitions are largely simple. He wishes to make a name for himself and bring honor to his family through his all his efforts. He has no formal education but was taught by the elders of his family. He often ignores or dismisses the chance to learn things he has no interest in. He is very confident and never doubts himself, even when he's wrong. He is mostly levelheaded but does lose his cool when his honor is questioned. Aside from his poor manners he is easy to get along with as he is often happy or excited and generally laid back.
Combat: Tane's favorite weapon is an over sized club like Tewhatewha with a jade blade embedded in it. His weapon is a very old family heirloom and for whatever reason does not break under his strength. But really he loves fighting and grappling with his bare fists. His strength is immense. His punch alone is devastating with a measurable force of about 3800 psi (Mike Tyson had a punch that was measured at 1,800 psi). He can easily lift and throw over a ton of weight.
