Background: The union of Siltrie's mother,Terlina, and father was in no ways a happy one or even a wanted one for her father was a vampire. He one day broke into Terlina's home and fed upon her parents before satisfying another kind of hunger with Terlina. He however did not get away fully with the vile act as Terlina was not completely helpless and managed to drive a silver knife through the vampires heart, killing him. Still despite avoiding death or worse the vampire had left a different kind of curse in Terlina, a child. Now Altmer are not exactly know for their tolerance and well being raped by a vampire and getting knocked up was far far beyond tolerable, then again anything but another altmer isn't tolerable in sumerset. Terlina was as you might expect kicked out of her house and more or less run out of the city for carrying what was seen as an abomination inside her. It would be a month or two of Terlina livign out in the wilds before a certain simi secret group found her. Now altmer worship the Aedra and spurn the Daedra, but some are less hated than others and Merida is about as harmless as they come and has a history of helping out those of summerset when other daedric lords want to play with the mortals there. So when a group of devotees to Merdia sprung up they weren't exactly well liked but no one was planning to burn them at the stake. This order or warrior priests were dedicated to the hunting and destruction of undead and took Terlina in despite the thing inside her as such offspring sometimes could be put to good use in the service of their lady for they were not truly undead, but still inherited some powerful traits.

When Siltier was born sadly Terlina did not make it and died without ever knowing her child. Siltrie thus grew up with only the order to raise her and they molded her into a zealous weapon against the living dead and all those that might summon them. They trained her in the best ways to slay her foe and educated her in all the knowledge of her future enemy they had gathered. She was educated about how to tell where dark magic been done, where necromancers might hide, she knows the habits of vampire clans and how best to bring them down. With faith in Meridia came knowledge of magic made specifically to combat the undead, through faith the undead could be burned to ashes. Still not everything was directly related to combat as potions can heal, but they can also cure the illness the dead carry. The arts of the blacksmith are needed for any knight in the field so that weapons and armors can be repaired without having to find a trustworthy smith.

With her training complete and the undead rising in numbers beyond even what the sload raised during their invasions the Dawn Bringers have stepped out from the shadows. Siltier has been sent out like many other paladins to seek what the order believes will help turn the tides the Dawnbreaker. Still on her way to this artifact Siltier will have to slay as many undead as she can and try to end the threat even without the blade of her lady.

Okay, so she just has a very specific face, but is otherwise pretty unassuming. She is a Suthay Khajiit, small and lithe with digitigrade legs. She stands at 5’3 and weighs in at about 112 lbs.

She is a pretty typical tabby pattern to her fur, you know, dark brown with black stripes. However she is rather strange in the face, because she has a rather large, creamy white patch right on her face that overlaps a good quarter of the left side with a big white spot. And seeming as a consequence of that, that left eyes is actually blue, whereas the right eye is green. The stark contrast of her dark fur with this white spot has earned her the name “Moonface”, because people having likened it to “a waning moon in the night sky”.

Name:
Maroluna “Moonface” Shalnact

Personality Bads:

Her first memory is the cold.

She's not sure how she ended up tossed in the street, but there she was. Nothing but a scrap of fur wearing a burlap sack, wandering the streets of Windhelm. Begging for food from people who either didn't care to give her food or couldn't afford to give her any, for they too were starving.

Her luck changed on one fateful night. She had just plopped to the cold street in exhaustion, and as the Stormcloaks and other Nords of the city kicked snow in her face as they passed, and the snow falling from the sky formed a thick blanket of white over her, she distinctly remembers thinking to herself, "at least I will die beautifully, made beautiful by the snow." It was then she picked up the sound of footsteps, and before she knew it, someone had brushed the snow off of her, scooped her up into their arms, and walked away wih her.

She was picked up by a Dunmer woman named Brellen. This young mer had just lost her newborn child to death, and had been grieving for days. She been considering, in the crushing indifference of the Nords around her, that she should end it all when she stumbled across the bundle of fur under a pile of snow in the Gray Quarter. She couldn't ignore the scrap, and chose to see it as a sign from Azura that she should not give up. It took some convincing, but she did eventually get her husband on board with raising this child. So there she was. A Khajiit being raised by Dunmer.

Did this couple of Dark Elves know anything about raising a Khajiiti kit? Oh hell no. They barely knew what to name her much less how to raise her. But they got some advice from the Khajiit caravans outside the city, and they tried their very best to do a good job. They gave her a big stick to chew on when she started teething, thick leather work gloves when her claws started to grow in. And above all, Brellen taught her new cat daughter alchemy. Maroluna took exceptional interest in smelling all the ingredients that her adoptive mother used in her potion making.

But it was well into her teen years when she discovered her true favorite pass time- Thievery. She loved the thrill that came with 'relieving' someone of heir valuables. Picking locks, diving into pockets to swipe some gold or a ring, anything. She loved it. But it was this that got her in trouble. She was returning from a particularly heist when she discovered her family home had been set ablaze by, who else- a bunch of drunk Nords. They were screaming slurs at the blazing residence and Luna couldn't back the scream of pain as she realized the only family she'd ever known was probably in there burning alive right now. But this scream only attracted the attention of the drinkers Nord men. They began to throw insults at her, reaching out to grab her and throw her into the fire too. So she did the only thing she thought would be right. She dropped her bag of stolen goods and ran. Out of Windhelm, past the Khajiit caravans and off into the blizzard that often surrounded Windhelm. She mourned for days, alone in a cave full of mushrooms and the scent of death. That was when she was fifteen.

Sure, she tries to not pass immediate judgement on people... but after that day, she swore if she heard one more pig-faced Nord tell her that she would make a fine rug, she was going to rip their ears off.

She joined the Thieves Guild after a few years of wandering by herself, living off scraps and the odd gold she managed to pick off the corpses of now-dead bandits. She spent some years with the guild, honing her skills, making friends with everyone (maaaaybe having a brief fling with one of the members *cough cough* let me romance Rune Todd you COWARD COUGH*) and soon rising to being the Guildmaster’s right-hand-man... girl... cat.

When he was 8 his family quickly learned of his talent in enchantment, and by 17 he was mastering the art of smithing. Feeling it was his time to make a name for himself, he set off south towards the main docks of the isle and left for Solstheim. It was there he gained a taste for true power.

Delving into one of the many tombs dating back to the dragon wars, Jesgroll came upon one of Hermaeus Mora's Black books. Soon after earning the knowledge within, the Atmoran blood Nord craved more, and the Daedric prince gladly gave him more... for a price. But was was a lie planted here and the occassional murder there to the invaluable knowledge he had at his disposal. But still he craved more, so he turned towards his sister Daedra, Azura, and in serving her, he too gained more in power and knowledge. For the next 9 years the young man became an indispensable asset two the two princes that they both granted him a boon so that he may better serve them. Hermaeus Mora giving him the secrets of Necromantic Enchantments, and Azura gifting him one of her Winged Twilights to serve as both a companion and a guardian.

When news of the necromancers gained both princes attention, they both agreed they needed to be dealt with, both with their own reasons.
