Mapleton has always been a jolly town, with very low crime rates and awards and medals to prove their fantastic spirit. Almost every kid graduates with a full diploma, and every child is well looked after. Church and religion has a very big part in the community and any self respecting citizen will attend mass on a Sunday. However, Mapleton is a lie, it's a joke. For years, there has been a very large underground cocaine business going on, and although most of it has been uncovered, there is still a huge part of it left. The reason it went unnoticed for so long is because the ex sheriff, Macon Wells, was hiding and covering up any evidence of the trade. Well, now that good ol' Macon is in jail, the town is left o Ed Bilton and his team, which is a lot less corrupt. However, that doesn't make it any safer of a town. Most of the old folk still have faith in old Macon, and think he was doing the town a favour bringing money in like that! And with all these suicides happening, suburban housewives are out at night with flashlights thinking that Bilton isn't doing his job! Mapleton has many secrets, and many that are yet to be uncovered.
