This is Pixie Hollow, the world of fairies. Here, you can join the other fairies in their daily work as they prepare for the change of seasone, or you can gear up and prepare for adventure.

Little Melody Matthews was three months old when it happened that Winter day.
It wasn't anything grand - just something small and quiet - but it happened none the less.

She laughed.

A little giggle, a chuckle. A teeny-tiny titter that gave another being life.
A single dandelion blew in a sudden gust of wind, the seeds flying into the unknown. Some went here and there, but one seed stayed on a steady track through the crisp, cool breeze. It made its way to its destination: Pixie Hollow. It was fate: meant to be. Wasn't it?
The small seed calmly blew to the Pixie Dust Tree, where a group of fairies quietly spread the news throughout the entire Hollow: a new fairy was going to be born.

The seed delicately landed in its place without sound. And then she was born: Eira Cantata.

Her short, curly, white-blond (with hints of blue) hair fell upon her shoulders as she lifted her head to see the crowd of fairies and sparrowmen staring intently at her. She immediately felt self-conscious and her shoulders tensed in duration of the moment. Eira started to breathe with a panicked feel, not knowing where she was or what to do with all of the intrigued eyes on her.

(OOC: I decided to post now. I didn't know if anyone was going to be (or already was) Queen Clarion, so I couldn't god-mod her character in this post. This is just Eira's entrance, of course. Will someone welcome her -doesn't have to be Queen Clarion, exactly- so that Eira can choose her talent? Thanks.)

The Union Ball, the annual event celebrating the union between the Winter Woods and the Warm Side, was right around the corner. Knowing that Queen Clarion would be busy overseeing the preparations, the four members of the Never Council, Sweet Pea, Marina, Kit and Slate, flew over to the arrival area of the Pixie Dust Tree, ready to welcome the new fairy.
Sweet Pea: "Hello there. Don't worry, everyone here is eager to get to know you"
