“Are you sure they are the ones you want to recruit sir?”
Bright masses of stars and constellations blended together, forming a sea of sparkling color that seemed to move side to side like waves at times. In the distance, behind the bright seas, a large blue planet glowed with specks of yellow city lights on it’s surface. From the large crystal clear window that reached from floor to ceiling on the large transport ship, the lights were dimmed and at times only seemed to be reflecting light from the inside of the ship. “Sir?” The young male’s voice repeated again, causing the graying haired stargazing man to briefly glance back over his shoulder. He arched a large bushy gray eyebrow, prodding at the boy to continue. “It’s just that they are so, opposite from each other. Not to mention, some strayed from the path of laws. They could cause this whole thing to end in a disaster.” The older man considered the words carefully before turning his dark brown orbs back to the great depth of space.
“They’ll work.”
Imagine it, sailing across the seas of stars on a ship. Going wherever you please, doing whatever the hell you wanted. Well almost whatever you wanted. Since the great war between the seven worlds of the Cælestis galaxy three years ago, the rest of the known galaxies and solar systems have been gripped with fear that it might happen to their own worlds. This in turn caused a snowballing effect of governments and galactic securities to crack down on imports and exports. That included people. Before the war there had been crews and ships that would have plenty of work enlisted to them by businesses, companies, and even the government at times. They found work easily, earned their pays and had easy access to almost any planet they needed. They were a cheaper form of transport and job workers, and most crews would bend and accommodate to their buyers needs. But with fear rippling throughout all of space, they suddenly became a threat and people that couldn’t be trusted since they didn’t always run under law and order. And it eventually lead to basically the whole explored universe to mark them as outlaws and wanted criminals, putting prices on their heads for their captures, dead or alive. So slowly as more and more worlds started to lock down, allowing less and less people through and hunting more and more down, the number of these crews and ships dwindled and dwindled. Leaving only a few to scatter the galaxies to search and scavenger for what little work they can, eventually becoming known as Pirates Most of the few that remained soon fell to the darker side of things, only aiding to the government's title of criminals by raiding and attacking cities and worlds, stealing, killing, murdering.
But one ship managed to stay on what they saw to be the right path. When the war ravaged existence, the original crew of the Bloody Tail had perished in the war, save for the captain. For a while even after the war had ended, the Bloody Tail ship had sat anchored in a port on one of the few planets that allowed Pirates to remain, while this captain coped with the loss of the crew that had been together for years. But slowly the world around her started to shift and change due to the government's. Worlds and Planets were slowly started to become poorer poorer, some even dying completely. This left thousands even millions struggling with various problems and issues left behind by the war. The captain had witnessed this slow shift and realized that more and more people were in dire need of the old cheaper labor of what were now known as Pirates again. With that set firmly in mind, the captain set out to form a new crew.

PLOT OVERVIEW

Something is stirring once again. One by one worlds are falling and being killed off, saving a few that were taken over by a dark force. Governments and a secret force known as the Galactic Unity are frantically scrambling to keep these dark events hidden and covered up from the public eye. And they are somehow pulling it off. No one knows about the deadly wake of dying planets aside from the governments and force. And they plan to keep it that way as they frantically try to find away to battle this almost unknown force. Armies and masses of soldiers have been killed trying to battle it. And in one of the few last attempts to stop it, the crew of the Bloody Tail have been recruited to help.
NOTE: This rp will start with either being shortly after the crew had been assembled and they are all still adjusting to each other. Or with the crew being gathered together on the ship for the first time. I would say starting with they are all in the process of being recruited, but I have tried that in the past and it seemed to die too quickly. I will consider it though if I gain enough interest. In your interest post below, it would be helpful if you posted your opinion in it as well, but that’s just a request ^.^ Also I know I didn’t expand all that much on the plot, and that’s mainly due to a lot of it will be revealed as this rp goes. For the beginning peice of this rp it is mainly the crew doing the whatever jobs they can get ahold of, unaware of the dangers and unrecruited so far. The Galactic Unity will be brought in rather quickly to recruit them, but not exactly right away. If that was confusing, please ask any questions you have about it below and I will most certainly answer!

For those of you who might be wondering, for my CS’s they are typically semi-detailed, and for appearance I really don’t have a preference on what type you do, (Anime, written, realistic, or drawn) It’s really your choice, for me however I will be using more anime and more graphic digital type imagery (like the pictures on this thread) But again completely your choice.

Also as far as characters go, yes I am considering different species characters that aren’t human since this is a space based rp. Most likely I will allow more than just human characters. It really depends on the preferences of those who join.

THE SHIP

THE BLOODY TAIL
The Bloody Tail, before the war, was never a really well known ship. This was mainly due to when the crew first was formed, it was formed by the captain who, at the time, was only 20. This made for a rather more loose fitting crew. They gathered work easily and got their money easily enough that they ended up being a more of a rag-tag crew that was more carefree than the other ships. The war had hit one year after the crew and ship were originally established. The war had lasted two years, and after the first year, the crew of the Bloody Tail had enlisted themselves to help aid and fight in it, the crew seeing as it was time that they actually do something that matters. In an on ground assignment, there had been a horrible turn of events that resulted in the death of all the crew members, the captain being the only one to survive long enough to be rescued. Three years after the war had ended, the Captain reinstated the Bloody Tail, recruiting a new small crew along with it. The Ship itself will become more widely known after the crew is formed. Mainly due to the captain insisting on taking jobs from only those who are in more dire situations. Though it doesn’t make a whole lot of money, barely enough to keep them running, it provides a fail-safe for those who are in desperate need of help.

Besides my idea of foreign relations is shooting first asking questions later. I'd love to be Coyotes bodyguard / gun partner, there can never be enough explosions
