Tagging Alerts

I don't know if it's possible but I think there should be an alert for someone when a post they were mentioned in gets edited


Also, similarly, it should send an alert for when you are mentioned in an edit (For example, if someone edits there post because they forgot to tag you)

The reason alerts are disabled when edited is because the alert would then be sent every. single. time. you. edited. it.


Which would be horribly annoying, especially for something that is regularly updated.

However, a person can bookmark a post. When a bookmarked post is edited, you are sent a notification. c:

I guess it wouldn't be possible until the future when there's updated technology that doesn't spam

It is also something we don't control by choice, its built into the forum software like that, it doesn't send out alerts when they are edited in.
