So with the upcoming merger and recent influx of newbies, I got to thinking that the Creativity section might benefit from some tags, too. I realize it's not a big part of the site or what we do here, but I like sharing stuff there and I like to see what other members are adding. It might not hurt to have some facility for easily finding content by the same member across the lifetime of the site as that section expands.


Also, can we have the Roleplay prefix back, or do all nascent games or settings belong in Resources now?

What once went into Roleplay and Character prefixes in the Creativity Discussion forum are actually supposed to go to Roleplay Discussion under Brainstorming or Lore, I believe under the new organization. The only exception is if its a story, graphic or poem that is just within that lore but not about the lore itself.


Its a weird topic because it fits in each category.

I don't know if we can do tags easily. It would require an addon. However it is possible we could use the Resource addon (similar to how we have a resource index) for creative work. That would have to be discussed by the full staff as a whole.

[Lore] and [Character] in Roleplay Discussion is the new target for the previous roleplay tags in creativity.


Creativity is meant to be a place to share things unrelated to roleplay (Or if you want feedback on the how it's written not on how good of a game it will be).

That's cool. I didn't realize those new Prefixes were in, and they seem to be fine for the purpose. I wasn't sure where some of my game-related content that was in Creativity ended up.
