[/SIZE]So... currently I'm fiddling around with tables as a method of experimenting with the ability to get borders and backgrounds. One thing I have discovered with tables is that there is no way to set the table in such a manner that it fits within the page. It looks very disorganized for the site to have the capability of stretching a table or image to stretch out of the confines of the website design.

For this reason, I propose an option to "Auto Fit" a picture or table so that it is the width to fit within the confines of the website's design.

Is this something that could possibly be done?

What I do is remove the width entirely rather than setting a number. That defaults it to screen width, I think.

@Anomaly I believe that defaults it to the width of the content in the table. If a table is completely empty, it becomes absolutely tiny.

It's still helpful though. I'm trying to use tables as a way of getting borders and backgrounds back and knowing this, I can actually do that.

Thanks for the tip!

You can make it have the size of the currently available width of the viewer screen by setting it to 100%
