While many would believe that because the station and galaxy itself holds just a variety of different races and is as open to accepting anyone, it would be thought that Solsticea is one of the most peaceful galaxies out there. However, this is unfortunately incorrect, while the High Council does reside here, even with their numbers and attempts of peace amongst all races, complete peace is impossible to achieve. Racism amongst humans to other aliens and some aliens to humans is a constant struggle in everyday life in one place or another. Of course, this does not mean that the general public does not treat one another with respect on the usual occasion, but the fact that Novaria is a planet filled with the worse of the worst of criminals and crime lords is enough to show that Solsticea does have its places that are safe while others can be just as dangerous as wandering the streets of Novaria alone at night.
To keep the station orbiting in space, at the very center of the station is a massive core that is made from a refined Velorium crystal. Located on the station as well is the High Council and where any judgements that need to be made about the universe or important laws that must be made within the station, goes by them. The station is broken into three social classes to keep organization between the populace at a steady and easier control. These three social classes are that of the Lower Class, Middle Class and finally the Upper Class. Throughout the entirety of the station, civilians are allowed to go wherever they wish aside from having obvious privacy for businesses, homes and general obvious places; even so, there is only one place that all civilians are restricted from entering that is known as the Contaminated Zone; this is due to that particular part of the station is infested with the fungus disease known as Azurith. Also, in the part of the station, there is no oxygen nor signal for outside communication, there have been reports of curious smugglers heading into the area without permission and have yet to be heard from ever since.
With the help of alien scientists working with humans, technology spiked rapidly as well as the population on the planet had started to rise considerably over time. After another hundred years or so of peace, it was another ordinary day when a large meteorite had fallen from space and landed in the middle of a military base. Investigating the meteorite in belief that it possibly held more Velorium, it was brought to one of the largest labs in the military base only for it to be drilled open. When cracking the rock open, it was found to be empty but coming from it were greenish spores that filled the air and stuck itself to all the machinery, walls and even personnel in the lab. Within a matter of seconds, fungus began to grow on the individuals and all over the room, spreading rapidly. Luckily, others were able to escape and seal off the room and withdraw all possible air from the lab causing it to become a massive vacuum of sorts.
Those that survived and were able to escape informed their superiors about the news, of which it was decided that the knowledge should not be allowed to leave the lips of those who had seen what the fungus had done. During this time, Solterra had already been in the process of being created, but with the knowledge and attempts of destroying the fungus within the room in all manner of ways only to fail each time, the production of the station was doubled considerably causing it to be finished sooner than it was estimated to be completed in. Luckily, the station had been finished before any of the population could find out what had happened and why it the station was hurried to be completed. Although not long after leaving Terra, without anyone to monitor the fungus within the lab, it eventually expanded and finally broke through its containment and ended up spreading throughout the planet like wildfire. Trees, buildings, even animals were consumed in the fungus and within a matter of months the one green and blue planet had turned into a completely sickly green color that could be seen from space. To this day, the High Council still holds information from the public about what had happened to the planet.
Even with the dangers of the planet with all the criminals, there are still individuals that have made Novaria their home and attempt to make the best of it however they possibly can. Many of these people are refugees from other galaxies that had gotten rides from drug dealers by paying what little money they had to be smuggled into the Solsticea Galaxy and do not have the money to get transportation to Solterra. Lives for these refugees either consist of working at bars, begging for money or working as slaves for crime lords. Every refugee has a story to tell, whether it is paying off a debt, captured to slavery, or just trying to get enough money to get by each day. Nearly every single refugee all have the same dream of one day getting to Solterra to start a better life.
Most of Novaria is a giant city that covers the entire planet. The massive city hovers several hundred feet off from the planet's surface at all times, the planet's surface on the other hand consists of only giant spiked mountains and it appears to be always storming 24/7. The wind currents are so powerful that most ships who dare fly down to the planet's surface tend to have difficulty keeping stability let alone attempting to find flat to land a ship. Meanwhile in the city, there are patches of green here and there that are man-made parks followed by getting general weather with the help of the sun's rays and artificial clouds.
While many believe that the planet is just somewhere for families and young people to go only to have fun, this in incorrect; far off from many of the rides are large homes that are all massive in size. These homes are worth massive amounts of money and normally are owned by either millionaires or elderly people who have retired and have the money to afford such spectacular homes to retire to. Normally these homes can be seen overlooking a massive open grassy plain, or the beach or even facing towards the mountain horizons.
Anvar is where the entire military, police officers and even members of the Crimson Void Legion are trained and molded into who they are after they graduate. The training for each of the different divisions is always different; for example, training for police officers is not as bad as for those in the military and neither of those are as cruel and demanding as that of the training to become a member of the Crimson Void.
Before it was turned into the giant farming planet it is known to this day as Erebos Prime, the planet was once a dense forest-like planet that had wild animals roaming the surface. When the planet had been colonized, many of the trees were cut down only to make those parts of the planet turn into wild open fields for crops to grow. Many of the forests were kept as well just so that the planet could continue to thrive without ending up turning the entire surface into something that was only meant for manufacturing foods and such. Many of the animals of Erebos Prime were also tamed and herded to the large farms that were built, some used to be milked others were butchered for their meat and some were even meant as breeders to make sure the animals were not killed till extinction.
Aside from the farms growing crops, there were even smaller farms out in the distance of the planet that were fishing villages that caught both small and large marine animals to be sold across the galaxy as well.
Erebos Prime is yet another planet that has high levels of security protecting it from any possible dangers at all times. This is due to the concern that if the food source on the planet were to somehow be contaminated, then it could lead to a serious famine. Luckily, even if any of the crops were to be poisoned and it was caught ahead of time, there are fail safes that are in place to secure and cut off the spread of the poison to getting to the other crops.
There are plenty of civilizations that live on Vesperia, many of them having large cities and even underwater bases. Many of these civilizations consists of scientists and delivery services that constantly take in the water from the planet to filter through into cleaner drinkable water. All of this is sent to the many different planets in the galaxy and just as with Erebos Prime, the planet's security and fail safe is just as important as it is on the farm planet in the case of someone or something ever attempting to poison the supplies.
Another location where the Lower Class population is high is the planet of Novaria, every refugee on the planet can be categorized under the social Lower Class due to them being unable to find enough money to reach Solterra. Being locked in a life of either slavery or barely getting by each day with what little money they can earn due to high tier criminals. Once again, even with the High Council being aware of these situations, they have decided that the idea of using large amounts of resources to help those individuals would not be beneficial to them and have decided to turn a blind eye to many of those trapped on Novaria.
The people of the Middle Class tend to have a varying view of the Lower and Upper Class, some view the Upper Class as snobby rich folk that have never understood what it meant to work a day in their lives and that they do not deserve the wealth they have, while others brush away the idea of whatever the Upper Class do, as long as it does not affect those in the Middle Class, they will not pay them any mind. The views upon the Lower Class are also in difference of range as well, many have the view of the Lower Class as scum that they are all criminals and should be treated as such. While others believe more in a peaceful manner that those in the Lower Class should be given a chance at life, given charity to a certain degree so that they could afford healthcare, and food for their young rather than have to suffer.
