  All species excluding Grimm, age at the same rate.
  
  No species regardless of their race, whether it is magical or not has the natural potential to live for extended periods of time. The only way to achieve semi-immortality is through Aura.
  
  The longest living Aura User in recorded history by the Obelisk Academies, was both a Master and Genius of Aura who lived to be 369, they, are currently deceased. Without some sort of divine item it is impossible to live forever or extend one's life for long.

    Humans
    Humans are the most populated species of the human genus. It is commonly believed the reasons humans are twice as durable and capable of recovery, is due to their centuries of endurance and overcoming struggles to the point that their bodies and minds, have also evolved to match.
    
    
    Endurance
    Due to their affinity to Aura, humans are capable of taking heavy beatings and still finding some means to survive.
    
    
    

    Past Treatment
    
    Humans, in their ancient history have been known to be at odds with each other. It wasn't uncommon so long ago back then, at least till the presence of Grimm became more foreboding. Before humans turned their attention on the Faunik, humans were generally at odds with each other. It was a unique imbalance that didn't threaten to destroy the species but did harm to itself as well. Interestingly enough, Humans, never had much of a problem towards Elfs or Giants. Maybe out of fear or maybe out of curiosity and a desire to stay on the good side, but humans, elfs, and giants have never truly been at major odds.
    
    Shine that light over on Faunik and Humans however, and you'll get quite a different story. In fact, it was humans, the first of their kind to go pointing fingers when Grimm became more ferocious in their actions during a time before the existence of the Academies.
    
    
    

    Present Treatment
    
    Currently, all human and all Faunik get along, more or less. Treatment or relationships between humans and Faunik tends to vary from kingdom to nation. But, the Obelisk Academies which are the ultimate forms of law enforcement in this world, ensure that everyone plays nice.

    Elfs
    Elfs are a subspecies to humans. People who spent their time within the once great forest landscapes that sat along side civilization, but these days no longer have access to such large lands, as they've been whittled away by centuries of wars, the Grimm, and time.

    Senses
    Elfs are more sensitive to their environment. Their heightened senses and gives them the ability to pick up on sounds, sights, and visuals, that others cannot.
    
    
    
    

    Past Treatment
    Elfs hold a unique heritage, one that connects them to their environment. That heritage has since been lost since the number of Grimm grew along with the chaos that followed it with them, and they much like their brothers; the humans and giants, had their lands torn apart and destroyed.
    
    Like the Giants, and humans, Elfs also jumped onto the Fauniks hate wagon, although their treatment of Faunik weren’t as severe in comparison to the others. They were the onlookers who didn’t offer a hand to help. The type to avoid getting themselves involved if it meant receiving the same sort of treatment. If anything, back then Elfs were considered the cowardly of the bunch, unwilling to be hated the same way the sister species of their kind was, they remained silent and blended in with the crowd. All to avoid being turned on also.
    
    
    
    

    Present Treatment
    
    Elfs to this day, still aren't considered much or big news. If anything their status is very similar to that of humans. They aren't disliked, but on the other side where Faunus, Chimera, and Mystic lie, that may vary. As usual, the relationship varies from place to place. But these days, Elfs much like their brothers, giants and humans, have a neutral or decent relationship with the Faunik.

    Giants
    Are a subspecies of Humans who have the capability to shift from their normal human size to monstrous sizes thus increasing their strength. Its unknown why exactly humans of this subspecies are capable of altering their sizes the way they can, but it is commonly believed to be a gift from the heavens.

    Size & Strength
    Giants are humans who have the innate ability to grow in size. By growing a Giant's strength increases but it does not increase their durability. Giants if anything, simply become stronger the bigger they get and that is all. Giants cannot shift parts of their body to different sizes, when a Giant shifts sizes, they shift their entire body, not just a single limb or body part but the whole essence of their being.
    
    Size is hereditary, thus a Giant's full size is determined by their heritage. At the age of 8, Giants are able to shift sizes and by 15 they will have hit their 'adult' stage where they can grow to their full size. Size shifting is based off one's free will and it is customary for the adults to teach the young how to shift into different sizes and then help them learn to control their ability to reach the size they desire so as not to harm themselves or others as their strength and height increases.
    
    All giants have a maturity height range from 8ft to 13ft max.
    
    Example: Jim is 12 and he can grow up to 6ft. When he's 15 he can only reach his full size which is 8ft.
    
    
    
    

    Past Treatment
    Giants were scary, at first. Especially to humans. As beings who came came from the rocky terrains of hilltops, caves, and mountains, the Giants used to be people who owned the first natural towers. But that was a long time ago. As the presence of Grimm grew and tensions rose, the more giants were turned away from their homes or the more those homes were in turn damaged by far more powerful Grimm by those that refused to leave. When you're facing Grimm and other enemies you tend to focus on your enemies more than the neighbor who can alter their size and strength. Despite their strange size altering ability, Giants never faced criticism anywhere near or close to what Faunus, Chimera, and Mystic faced. To even compare the bigotry in their backgrounds is an insult not just to Giants but a serious insult to Faunus, Chimera, and Mythics who were themselves treated unfairly by a majority of Giants in the past.
    
    Like the rest of their species, Giants were, troublemakers when it came to Faunus, Chimera, and Mystic. They were the ones that actually started the hunting of Faunik and somehow them doing it, got others involved as well.
    
    
    
    

    Present Treatment
    These days, Giants have done their best to erase their rather distasteful past with Faunus, Mythics, and Chimera. While they weren't the initiators of the sister specie bias, their participation in the history of all three species suffering is a painful one to recall and one very few Mystics, Faunus, or Chimera forget. Especially those that are on the side of radicalism.
    
    Generally, the relationship between Humans and Elfs is either neutral or friendly. The relationship for Faunus, Mystics, and Chimera however varies greatly from being wary and cautious to friendly to hostile. Like anywhere, reactions tend to vary, but trust when we say, Giants are the last ones that have to worry about any uprisings on their kind.

    Faunus
    Faunus are the second most proliferant species on Sigma and are human in appearance, but also have one physical trait that relates them to a realistic animal. They are the most populous of the Faunik species.

    Abilities
    Faunus have the ability to innately see in the dark. Topped with this, they also possess reflexes that are faster than any of the other species.
    
    
    
    

    Past Treatment
    Once the lands Faunus shared with their brother species of Chimera and Mystic were oasis, now they are all dry deserts. When Grimm started multiplying it was Humans and those under them, that were the first to point fingers due to their...unique differences.
    
    "Animals", was what Faunus were called. And if not that, the now globally associated term to all their kind, "Furry", was used as a slang term when hunting them down.
    
    In ancient history, Faunus were sometimes ostracized from villages or settlements and forced to live in the wild. Fending for themselves with others of their kind, travelling in small groups or alone till they moved into new settlements and the cycle continued. While this didn’t happen everywhere it was common, during its time. Sometimes, on rare occasions, they would be joined by other abandoned humans, elfs, or giants. But that tended to be very rare.
    
    
    
    

    Present Treatment
    Since the battles fought for their species independence, Faunus, are a liberated race and a proud one also.
    
    Currently, relationships aren't forbidden among the two sister species like it was long ago. But tensions like these don't just disappear. Especially when just a century ago, slavery was abolished on Faunus, Mystics, and Chimera alike at least in most nations.
    
  • 
    
    Chimera
    Chimera are a subspecies of Faunik who appear human in resemblance but have feral like appearances, sharp teeth, elongated nails, etc. The difference between Chimera and the rest of their species is they can transform into a state called the Chimera State.
    
    Chimera are born through a union of Faunus or Mystics of completely different races, a mixture of the two or through other Chimera.

    Chimera State
    Chimeras oddly enough do not inherit the abilities a pure Faunus or Mystic does. What they have is the chimera state. The Chimera State is a form of self-defense where a Chimera augments or amplifies their Faunus or Mystic traits to gain a semi feral state within a time limit. This state only applies to Chimera, and in no way or form transforms a Chimera into a literal animal as their human form is generally maintained throughout the process, the only thing enhanced or added on, are feral features associated to their specific race.

    Chimera State: Dragon up
    
    Jim is a Chimera of the Black Dragon Race. His state augments his draconic traits by giving him scales where he had none, granting him claws where he never had any and altering his eyes to be more reptilian.
    
    
    Shifting
    The Chimera State is activated by one's emotional state. Intense emotions cause a Chimera to shift into this state, anger, desperation, etc, can cause a Chimera to shift into their Chimera Form. Failure to learn how to control the Chimera State can cause a Chimera to shift into this form uncontrollably and also cause them to time out when they don't want to. The dangers of a Chimera state is that if one forces themselves to shift past their time limit, they could suffer serious injuries, mutilations, or death, hence the more attempts are made at exceeding that limit, the faster it will time out.
    
    Chimeras gain this state from the age of 6, and generally should be capable of controlling the shifting process through will-power by the age of 10-11 as the emotional phase shifts to one's own will. Most Chimeras tend to be taught how to control their states by programs designed to help them maintain a understanding that the ability to shift is normal for their kind. Gaining full control over one's Chimera State allows the user to shift into this state of their own free will without worrying about emotions causing unexpected backlash.
    
    
    
    

    Past Treatment
    Chimera unlike Faunus and Mystics were considered....well, not 'animals' like Faunus, but not "freaks", like Mystics. If anything, humanity; the elfs, the giants, and the humans, called Chimera "unnatural abominations" or to put it nicely, mutants. Harsh, but not...not exactly incorrect given those times. You see, the Chimera State wasn't really something completely understood back then. No one really got how it worked or what made it work all they knew was that it was some sort of biological transformation, that was in no way shape or form acted the same way Giants 'transformed' by getting bigger.
    
    The chimera form was something else entirely. Was it feral? Yes. Did it look dangerous? Yes, because it was. But was it monstrous? That, friend, was a subjective opinion. But if you had the chance to ask the Chimera of that time, the only monsters there, were the people hunting their kind down.
    
    At the time, a time where Grimm fed off this chaos and created problems for everyone and everything involved, Chimera were believed to be the ones who designed the Grimm's unique monstrous forms since they could become 'monsters', 'abominations', or 'creatures' themselves. The only problem those that hunted them faced? Was that Chimera, were willing to use their 'inner demons' to fight back.
    
    
    
    

    Present Treatment
    
    These days, Chimera are more or less left alone. The feelings towards them, much like their brothers, Faunus and Mystics, varies from place-to-place and nation to nation. But that doesn't mean everywhere has welcomed the Chimera into their hearts and homes.

    Mystics
    Mystics are beings who are human in appearance, but share resemblances to mythological or magical beings. They are the second subspecies of the Faunik specie.

    Some Examples of Mystic Races

    These are all examples of Mystics.
    
    
    Ki & Mystics
    Ki is an ambient energy exuded by plants, minerals, and the earth itself and is responsible for granting a Mystic a magical based power for a short period of time.
    
    Ki does not amplify a Mystics traits biologically like a Chimera State does. It is energy that is absorbed by a Mystics body and is used to grant them a single magical ability within their Mythical or Magical Race.
    
    Mystics are the only beings outside of Grimm who can access Ki without it immediately having horrible effects on the body or mind. However unlike a Grimm, for Mystics this ability is only temporary as there is a certain amount of time for how much a Mystic can absorb and use before it becomes detrimental.
    
    Example of Mystics using Ki
    1) A Kitsune creating fox-fire balls when enraged.
    2) A Banshee screaming when scared at a pitch loud enough to make people within a range twitch or freeze momentarily.
    3) A Mystic of the Dragon Race who breathes sulfuric breath when annoyed.
    4) A Fairy who spawns magical dust that they can use as projectiles when put into a life or death situation.
    
    Ki, like the Chimera State is temporary, overusing one’s Ki, can also lead to death or serious injury as it involves using ambient energy from one’s surroundings that is not stable for the body. Aura Users themselves are unable to access Ki however this seems, oddly enough, to not apply to Mystics.
    
    Note:Chimeras that are of a Mystic race cannot access Ki. A Chimera even if they are of a Faunus or Mystic race can only go into a Chimera state.
    
    
    Limits of Ki
    A Mystic can learn to use their Ki as a self-defensive mechanism by concentrating on a particular emotion and using it to activate their Ki.
    
    Ki will automatically switch off on its own, within a time limit, much like a Chimera State to prevent any harm on the user. The more a Mystic tries to abuse their Ki past their limit, the more damage they do to themselves, physically and mentally.
    
    Note: Ki becomes available to Mystics from the age of 7-8.
    
    
    
    

    Past Treatment
    Mystics, much like Chimera and Faunus, got odd looks and nasty frowns where Faunus were called, "animals", and Chimera were called "monsters", a mystic was known as an anomaly, an oddity or a 'freak'. They were just...weird to look at, they resembled humans, but they also resembled things told in stories or believed in old religions. It was weird. And that weird got pushed to a 100 when Grimm emerged.
    
    While they were forced to flee and were less likely to fight, the most painful thing that follows Mystics...are the stereotypes associated to some of those within their species. The number one prime example?
    Vampires and the supposed belief that they could never bear the light of day. When in actuality, they did all the time, they hunted at night to satiate their craving for blood and to avoid harming others within their race or outside it, it was just hard to tell they moved around in day since they looked so similar to elves and humans and most associated their pale skin tones with a form of red blood cell deficiency.
    
    In those times, Mystics tended to avoid creating unwanted tension with humans, while some stood their ground when push came to shove, most tended to flee. They wanted very little trouble, but when it came to their kind, and the brothers of the other species being hunted down, they began to take measures. Set traps or go into hiding and disappear for centuries only to return as things began settling down. But if one thing still remains, its those rumors and lies associated to those 'freaks.'
    
    
    
    

    Present Treatment
    Mystics tend to get a bit more attention than the average Faunus, but this attention unlike the past, isn't as negative as it was. In most scenarios it is often in a positive light. But like anywhere else, the feelings towards Mystics, varies from place-to-place.
    
    Stereotypes are still a thing that exist and while not as prominent in the past, some still tend to haunt the Mystics of their species. These days, the negative term associated to them is Metahuman
    
    
  • 
    
    Grimm
    
    Are the third species on Sigma. They are demonic entities with no soul and thus incapable of using Aura or Ki, as aura only works for beings who have souls i.e. living beings.
    
    The only known way to kill a Grimm is through Aura, which will be discussed in the Lore Thread.
    
    All attempts at studying Grimm have failed because their bodies reject any form of biological study or otherwise. Attempts at studying their corpses are impossible as well because their bodies disintegrate into thin air in the moment of their death.
    
    
    
    

    Intellect
    Grimm naturally, are not known for being smart. They act more or less like wild animals, do not feel things like empathy, sympathy or emotions. They however seem capable of understanding these things, as they flock in large numbers when negative energy rises in places like riots, panic or war.
    
    They cannot feel emotions,but the have the ability to learn. The longer a Grimm lives, the more fights it survives or wins, the smarter it becomes the more it adapts. It has been theorized if a Grimm lives long enough, they can mimic mortal speech.
    
    
    
    

    Worldly Status
    Grimm do not possess any qualities to produce offspring, but their numbers remain at large. They do not require sustenance, rest, or water, and tend to ignore animals and plant life unless provoked.
    
    Their main interest however, resides in the other two species and their subspecies. Why this is, is unknown. All that is known is that their only goal is to wipe out life.
    
    Due to their nature, Grimm are considered common enemy number one. And thus are either completely avoided when spotted in the distance or hunted down by licensed Aura users known as Paladins.

    General
    Hybrids don’t technically exist in this universe. If you’re looking for a Hybrid in its purest terms, then a Chimera is the only type of hybrids that are available.
    
    All species and subspecies are compatible. But Hybrids in generally aren’t really something you’ll get outside of Chimera.
    
    If you mix two different subspecies or two different species, you will always get one or the other, not a combination or mixture.

    Beacon Academy is the Obelisk Academy of Vale. And is located in the City of Vale.

    Settlements & Culture
    A place that does not tolerate disorder from anyone or anything, Vale, does its best to maintain peace and be a nation that welcomes all who don't cause trouble for it and its allies. Renown as a safe haven due to its natural defenses, powerful tides on the west and large wall like mountains on the east, this nation has suffered fewer Grimm attacks. But also has the most unique types of Grimm.
    
    The people of Vale are decent folk. Friendly, kind and welcoming, this nation has seen its fair share of crime in its larger cities. The capital itself seeing the most crime from time to time. But if there's anything that sticks out more about this nation than its policy to keep the peace and maintain a welcoming image for any and all that wish to come, its the Academy's policy on slamming down Grimm and criminals of all kinds across any border.
    
    
    
    

    Patch
    Patch is the name of a large island west of Vale. It harbors woodland areas, lakes, and small settlements within it. It also Grimm located within certain parts of its woodland fields. Not as dangerous those often found in Vale, but are still just as harmful to daily life if left alone.
    
    
    
    
    

    City of Vale
    The City of Vale is the capital of Vale and the tidiest, most welcoming city you will find across all of Vale. That isn't to say other settlements and cities within it aren't, Vale just tends to keep an eye out for any unwanted settlers that hold rather unsatisfactory opinions and more or less kicks them to the curve if they cause trouble for its settlers and inhabitants.
    
    
    
    

    Vytal Island
    Is the Neutral island where all the nations have met and formed national agreements. It is also where the meetings occurred for the birth of the Obelisk Academies.
    
    
    
    

    Alexandria
    Is a government owned neutral island owned by Vale. It is where The Tower is. The Tower, is where the Guardian Exams occur every year for all TSF Student Graduates who wish to become Paladins.
    
    
    
    
    

    Arcada
    The scorched lands of Arcada are located southeast, towards the waters that separate Mistral and Vale. The lands of Arcada were once hills and forests that belonged to the Elf folk and Mystics of various races, but now consist of nothing but rock, ash, and sand.

    A small beached town in west Vale. Main income comes from the export of sea life for food, ingredient, and research purposes. Very low crime, as a majority of the town is populated by the elderly.

    - Shade Academy
    Shade Academy is the Obelisk Academy of Vacuo. Its Paladins and the Headmaster are generally the main enforcers of authority due to Vacuo anarchy like background. Headmaster is virtually appointed based off their wealth or power, sometimes a mixture of the two and it is only by maintaining that hold that Headmasters continue to remain one of the toughest forces within Vacuo.

    Settlements & Culture
    Like its desert terrain the inhabitants of Vacuo are people of tough stock. A nation that was once an oasis, Vacuo is now a shadow of its former self. Where there were once many animals, both of the normal and mystical sense very few exist primarily due to the centuries of the hardships the nation itself faced through violence and war.
    
    The people of this nation harsh the heat of their home and its windy environment and still seem to be able to get through an average day with ease. Vacuo while on the surface may seem like a collection of settlements on sand is a place full of gangs that listen to no one, unless you have the strength and power to show you can outmatch them. Shade Academy in particular has its Paladin and Sentries attend to any criminal activity that a gang may be participating in within its borders or nearby Vale's.
    
    As the only way to really climb to the top in Vacuo isn't by being nice or smart about it. You've got to be smart and forceful.
    
    
    
    

    City of Vacuo
    The capital and where Shade Academy is located.
    
    
    
    

    Craw Valley
    Craw Valley is one of many places in Vacuo that holds up the rule of if you can survive here then you're worth someone's time. Full of hubs, bars, and various forms of entertainment the settlement itself tends to be home to gangs full of thieves, robbers, and pillagers. The most powerful gang were once known as Fenrir. A Faunus, Chimera gang that broke up when its leader was marked on the Wanted List by Shade Academy and was later killed by a Paladin. Fenrir broke up into two groups:
    1. Skoll
    2. Hati
    
    
    
    

    Desert Suburbs
    Desert Suburbs is exactly that. The outlying area of a desert turned residential. Desert Suburbs itself has little to no vegetation and quite a few cacti. The city itself is located south west of the capital and is known for harboring a fair share of gangs that tend to deal with multiple forms of illicit acts from arranged assassination agreements to heist acts. This is generally where Stella Kim grew up and the same place where she trained her son Zaizen for a majority of his childhood.
    
    After all, not hard to find the right trainers when everyone here is looking for some good coin.
    
    
    
    

    Aegyptaura
    Aegyptaura is a sandy off settled small town, south of the Desert Suburbs and farther off from the city of Vacuo. The lands of Aegyptaura are known for its occasional sand storms and mirages. Its homes are made of tents and tarps meant to drive away the sandy weather. This settlement is known to be the turf of the Red Tails, a Faunus, Mystic, and Chimera mixed gang that has had its roots in Vacuo for centuries.
    
    Headmaster Ihktar is actually from this gang and he along with his family are direct descendants of one of its 5 core leaders. It is actually due to the Red Tails that Ihktar was able to achieve enough popularity along with the influence of a few allies that he managed to climb up into the rank of a Headmaster despite not being as skilled a Paladin user.
    
    
    
    

    Nuxvar

    Nuxvar is a small village located on the edge of Vacuo, near the border with Vale.     In Marquis, the main trade of the population was in mercantile. The next best thing was to poke their noses in anywhere and everywhere, i.e. treasure hunters. Located smack dab right in the middle of nowhere (a joke perpetuated by its locals due to it being neither too far from the nearest city over to be unreachable, or too near to be comfortable), Marquis specialises in acquisition and trade of rare items and materials. Rumors abound that if you needed something, there was a good chance you could find it in the black markets of Marquis. And if you couldn't, you could buy a sword and a guy behind it in Marquis to go look for it.
    
    The villagers usually follow the typical Vacuo midset: "We don't care what or who you are, as long as you don't cause trouble for everyone else and show you have the stuff to survive."
    All in all, it's a nice place to live if you're looking for "peace and quiet."

    Split into two groups, upper crust and lower ground, Mistral is renown for its contribution to literature, music & fine arts. But its largest contribution can also be shared, with the black market. A nation full of hilltops, a variety of ecosystems and swamps, Mistral is one of the few nations that survived the onslaught of Grimm in its ancient past.
    
    While known for being a place for the creative and hub for those looking for a new life, Mistral has a dark side and that dark side can be located in the low class of society. A century back, the arts and expression were popular everywhere but due to its alliance with Atlas, such freedoms were restricted to only the inner circles of Mistral's capital, leaving the outskirts to dry up instead. Due to this, the nation of Mistral has divided into two societies; the upper crust are the rich, the important, while the lower crust come from all crosses of the road. Murders, assassins, master thieves, all of whom played a role in the creation of Mistral's underground black market.
    
    While the two societies are split and one shows itself clearly on the surface while the other stays in the shadows, the one thing both share is their respect for nature. And this is generally displayed by Sentries who are tasked of clearing certain areas where Grimm or dangerous creatures lurk in the most.

    Aivu
    Aivu is a settlement within Mistral's reach. The city of Aivu is a place that harbors far less gang activity than one would expect but despite this there are still a few gangs or groups that exist and tend to have a skilled knack in avoiding Paladin or Sentry efforts to bring them in. Law enforcement seem lucky to run into them often, never so great at capturing. It's become a habit to where Aivu's been nicknamed "Playground City"
    
    
    
    Outskirt Settlements
    The Outskirt settlements are cities, towns, and smaller settlements that are outside Mistral's governmental reach. There are more outskirt settlements than there are settlements within Mistral's reach but that tends to be due to the size of these cities or areas.     Willow Wisp Junction
    Located northwest of Mistral in the upper regions where the climate gets a little colder. The city itself is well protected from Grimm, but tends to have its own unique share of monstrous mishaps occurring now and then. Recently, rumors have been going on that its been conducting underground matches and fights for a certain quantity of large sums in exchange for winning. Rumor also has it, its a place some gangs go to pick up new recruits.
    
    
    
    

    Wind Path
    Is a city that is located south of the main city of Mistral. It is known for being the best place to dig up dirt and not too bad a place for finding some form of entertainment. A place often known for its drug business, Wind Path is the best kind of place you can get details on just about almost anyone, if you know the right price and how to play the game. Certain parts of this city ban the company of Chimera in its bars and hotels.
    
    
    
    

    Maverick Bog
    Is a city located quite close to a nearby swamp and is also outside of Mistral's reach. Not horrible but not great either, Maverick has its fair share of kids who tend to spend their time out on the streets, not so much due to being poor, but more out of the necessity to avoid the dull lifestyle, the Leagus family often spent their time in this area due to the more 'homey' feeling of its environment along with a fair share of wealthy individuals who live in the more 'protected' sides of the city.

    North of Mistral City, Kuchinashi has more assassins within its area than your average mugger has teeth. Filled with an atmosphere that screams trouble, Kuchinashi is the sort of place that seems to be a Grimm bouquet, yet, very few Grimm make it into the city.     Nuwa
    A small island on the far southeast lands of Mistral. Nuwa once had a small town that used to belong to giants on the highest of cliffs, with the largest trees. That town is gone, buried centuries ago by rocks to block out Grimm from pouring out of its terrain. These days, most people that live on Nuwa, live on the edge, near the sea.     A town that was reported to have been destroyed by Grimm 22 years ago, and is on the far east lands of Mistral. It is a town that is quarantined and blocked off from entry. No one knows what happened to the inhabitants of that town. Whatever happened there, the Academies and government keep a tight lip, as not even Paladins are allowed to go there.

    Of high society and class, Atlas, the ice nation, is the most technologically advanced nation in all of Sigma with the highest ratings in scientific advancement and Dust applications. The people of Atlas, are very proud of their nation, their historic overcoming of the cold climates and the advancement of their nation. However, the rich and wealthy of Atlas, are another story entirely. Here in Atlas, while its not clearly spelled out, if you don't have the status you aren't given much attention. The rich get to live it up good because, they're rich. The wealthy get to look down on others because they sit in comfy positions and only get booted out by the Academies and Council when they get done with using the snobs to complete goals.
    
    However despite this strange chain of needing to keep appearances, one thing Atlas doesn't do very well, is mask the rather xenophobic undertones that tint its past regarding the enslavement of Faunus, Humans, and Mystics in the Dust scavenging mines of the past. Interestingly enough, Atlas was the last Academy to open its doors to Faunus, Mystic, and Chimera, mainly because the founder of the Academy had such a tough time convincing the head of government that Faunus weren't that bad. While Atlesians no longer clings to such notions or at least most don't its hard to miss the way some of the wealthy figures in Atlas treat those they look down on.
    
    Especially when you consider the fact that the former capital, Mantle, is suffering since it abandoned everyone else.
    
    
    
    

    Mantle City
    Is south of Atlas city. It is more or less a shadow of what it once was. Rough economic structures make it tough to get jobs here in this area for humans and faunus alike, and it doesn't help when Grimm come along and make things worse. While the Schnee Dust Company and Legacy Inc are working to balance things out in the area, life doesn't seem to get particularly easy. But what else can you do but manage?

    Doseun is a city, technically. Doseun was built right between the coast and a nearby dust mine, and more importantly only three skyscrapers were built. The entire city of Doseun is within their walls, some even consider it to be one interlocking tower as there are skywalks that connect it at every fourth floor. Not every part of the building is meant to be residences, at least the top three floors of each are typically empty for new residents but every fourth floor is strictly businesses and community locations. In general Neighborhoods are made up of the three floors res district. Between the Business floors.

    The city of Bastion was located in the far reaches of the continent. Fairly isolated it served as an outpost, a base, and just a general frontier city for control of the region. Given it's isolated nature, the city of Bastion was designed from the ground up to be self-sufficient and secure. Guarded by high walls and advanced military might the city could serve as a fall-back point in the case Atlas was ever endangered. But beyond that it simply served as a means of expanding Atlas' control over the continent and as a home for those seeking to venture further into the icy barrens.

    Much like Atlas, Rasporia tends to try to get the graduates of its Academy to join its forces. Wages tend to be tossed here and there to earn some attention, and unlike the other Academies, Rasporia seems to keep its doors open to mainly those from its kingdom. While this is generally frowned upon by the other nations, no one says a word or brings it up. As long as the kingdom doesn't try an attempt at another war, all is well.
    
    -Elite Knights
    Are a separate division of Paladin that serve the king of Rasporia directly and his most loyal allies. The Elite Knights are four in number. Paladin's skilled in their own right and given authority to look over settlements or cities of their own, create laws using the kings name or enforce laws of the king with their own lackeys and sway of authority.
    
    
    
    

    Rule of Septimus
    Since King Septimus took power in the event known as the King's Game, and virtually removed former King Juniper from the throne (his whereabouts remain unknown) Rasporia has been through a major sort of shake. For one thing, Faunus, Chimera, and Mystics of all kinds these days don't tend to head in the direction of cities that Septimus tends to have more control of. As rumors have been spreading in the inner circles of the kingdom that the King has more or less revived the hunting prospect of the Faunus, Chimera, and Mystic species. Some rumors from some anonymous sources say that he's even begun collecting certain traits of the three different species. The fangs of a vampire, the tail of a fox, and so much more. It's hard to tell if these are true since there's never any evidence, but the rumors haven't seemed to die.
    
    
    Settlements & Culture
    Since the Second War, Rasporia has gained quite a bit of popularity, rumor wise at least they are considered battle hardened warriors to outsiders of the public. However any Paladin that's been to the country itself knows the truth; Rasporians love a good laugh. Even if it means influencing the rumors that have spread on them since the war ended 76 years ago. Contrary to stereotypical belief thanks to those rumors, Rasporians aren't actual brutes like Giants are assumed to be. They are arrogant, stubborn, mischievous pranksters, troublemakers, and to others, sometimes complete jerks, but they are not bad people. Not all of them at least.
    
    After all, any kingdom that loves its sister species of Faunus, Chimera, and Mystics, can't be all that bad can it? Exactly.
    
    The nation of Rasporia caries with it a sense of division in each settlement. Every city tends to hold a sense of independence and tends to work towards handling its own problems without involving the crown, unless the Crown itself chooses to get involved, states or independent cities within this area tend to handle their own criminals and their own problems.
    
    
    
    

    Razdor
    Overlooked by a mayor, the small town of Razdor is a far off settlement far away from the other cities that are closer to the kingdoms more inner circle of cities, due to this there is a lesser reach of influence, almost similar to Mistral in that regard. Razdor's population consists of at least half its inhabitants being somewhat related in a sense, either realistically or by concept, one thing is clear about this town and its inhabitants in particular. It has a strong love for Faunus, Chimera, and Mystics of all types, of all races and considers its sister species literal beings of walking luck and a promise of joy.

    Fae is a northeastern Island located far off on the coast of Rasporia pointed towards Atlas. This island was once an island that used to be quite well known for its fishing business and thriving livestock. Now, its a quarantined zone. It's been that way for nearly 16 years, since a unknown sickness began spreading through its inhabitants at a alarming rate. No one really knows what happened there, but whatever that illness was it forced a quarantine that prevents anyone from getting in or out of the island. If any of its inhabitants escaped, they haven't come forward to tell the tale of what happened.

    History
    Menagerie was a gift given to Faunus, Chimera, and Mystics 200 years ago. About twice the size of Australia, it was meant to be a peace offering and apology from all the nations but became a insult over time as more and more of the three species were being pushed to settling on that isolated island. It was that same pushing and shoving act, that sparked the Faunik Rights Revolution, a war that occurred 97 years ago and was meant to solidify and establish that the Faunik species as a whole would not tolerate oppressive abuse. The war ended with the Academies stepping in once more to settle the situation just as the founders themselves had, and in exchange for yet another wound on the Faunik species, the Academies removed the border limits being set in place by the various nations that owned land on Menagerie and gave the Faunik species full control over it.

    Menagerie welcomes all Faunik of any specie of any race and so long as you aren't a filthy degenerate that slanders the Faunik race, you are welcome also. And if you cause any trouble? The Paladin outposts and Freedom Deputies, will be the ones coming after you.
    
    A nation made up of grasslands, a few rain forests and the occasional hills, this is a place that strives to separate itself from its rather collective dark past, yet is a bit crowded. But, the people there are good people. Whether you're a Mystic, a Faunus, or a Chimera, there's not a single person or being there that will look down on you for being different, no matter who you are. So long as you don't go causing trouble for everyone else.
    
    A tight community that works to ensure peace and avoid the attention of Grimm that loom on the south and northwestern horizons, the Freedom Deputies and Paladin outposts in the area tend to handle any messy business that may rear its ugly head.   General Information
  Aura is a unique energy tied to the soul that is invisible to the eye. Every living being except for Grimm, are capable of using Aura, however this information is kept from public knowledge to maintain balance in society. A person who does not have the ability to manipulate their aura, is known as a Non-User, they are ordinary people.
  
  Note: Aura allows a skilled user to surpass the limits of their species or all others. Due to this it is extremely dangerous against non-users.
  
  
  
  

  Applications

  Aura has multiple applications. It can be used to augment one's natural abilities or weapons and is the reason why any average Aura user can easily defeat any non-user, as one's Aura can be lethal to ordinary people.

  The most common applications of aura for all Aura users are:

  There are four known states of Aura.
  i) Inactive: Is the state everyone is born with.
  ii) Static: Is the state Aura enters when first awakened. It is also a state of rest. Skilled Aura users can subconsciously or unconsciously switch to Passive or Active without even trying.
  iii) Active: Is the state Aura enters when used for offensive purposes, especially with one’s Qin.
  iv)Passive: Is the state Aura enters when used for defensive purposes.
  
  
  
  Inactive Aura
  
  No one is born with their aura awakened thus everyone is naturally born with Inactive Aura and thus people who have not awakened their aura are known as Non-Users. Inactive aura does not do anything, as its name implies, it is basically where a person regardless of their species, is considered normal.

    Ways of Awakening Aura
    
    There are three ways of Awakening one’s aura, but only one is considered a common practice. To Awaken one's aura and gain access to one's Qin you have to open all Seven Gates of Aura. The three ways of doing this are outlined below.
    
    - Trigger Events: A unique and uncommon phenomenon that occurs in very few people. Trigger Events are rare and occur at the epitome of emotional and mental fluctuations. They are basically where you had the worst moment of your life and make it so where all of a person's Aura Gates are opened at the exact same time and their Qin is unlocked at the same time the seventh gate has been opened. This method, tends to have its drawbacks in some shape or form as the powers that were unlocked, weren't done so naturally. Some people who have Trigger Events, can experience mutations, others, get off scott free, while others gain something more, in exchange for their sanity.
    
    - Forced Activation: Forceful activation done by a skilled Aura user, and a frowned upon method of awakening Aura. This method is done by an Aura User forcing their aura into your body and opening the First Gate of Aura. This is dangerous because ordinary people are extremely fragile to Aura, and it can kill or seriously injure a person mentally or physically, if the trainer performing it is not skilled.
    
    - Unique Training: The most common way to awaken aura. This is Training that is given by the TSF Program, a Aura User, or a Paladin to help awaken and develop a person's Aura and Qin. While everyone has Aura, not everyone can awaken their Aura easily. The TSF Program, finds people with the potential to awaken their Aura, through their interest as Paladins, and performs exercises to help those with the potential to be Aura Users, awaken their Aura.

    The Two Types of Aura Users
    There are two types of Aura Users.
    1. Single User
    2. Dual User
    
    
    
    

    Single Aura User
    Aura users who have only one type of Aura are capable of gaining larger access to the abilities that their Qin offers. They are more powerful in comparison to Dual Aura users who have a similar Main Aura to them, but lack in versatility of combo abilities.
    
    
    
    

    Dual Aura Users
    Aura users who have two types of Aura, have a Main Aura and a Sub Aura. All Aura users have a main Aura type, and that is the type they are born with, but it is also possible for an Aura user to have one sub type, only if they are born as a Dual User. It is impossible to train oneself into another type of Aura that one was not born with.
    
    Dual Aura users who have the same core type as a Single Aura User, will always be less powerful when their core types are compared due to the Single User; as the more aura types one has the less powerful their core becomes. Main and Sub Types usually compliment each other in some way, despite being generally weaker they make up for it with unique versatility and combination of powers.

    Qin
    Qin is also described as an Aura Users superpower. Aura Users unlock their Qin, only after they have unlocked all Seven Gates of Aura. Once the seventh gate is opened, a person will experience a Qin Vision, before gaining access to their Qin.
    
    There are only two ways to learn or activate one's Qin.
    
    1. Training is the only safe and common way to learn one’s Qin.
    
    2. Triggers are the uncommon route, and very few Aura Users ever have Trigger Events.
    
    The most common thing for all Aura users is that when they do discover their Qin, a Aura User will see some sort of vision they instantly forget after the discovery has been made.
    
    
    
    

    Qin Visions
    
    Qin Visions are brief visions that last from a few seconds to a few minutes and occur to all Aura Users who instantly forget whatever vision it is they saw. Visions can be anything, but they never make sense and are things the human mind does / cannot fully perceive or understand which is why when they end, they hit the user with a form of amnesia in what it was they saw.
    
    These visions will always occur after a person has opened all seven gates of their aura. The vision will trigger after the seventh gate has been opened.
    
    
    
    

    Qin Mechanics
    
    Like Aura, Qin works like a muscle. The more you use it, the better you become at it. When first activated a Aura User will have no real control over their Qin.
    
    To gain access to Qin, you have to have the Seventh Aura Gate, be unlocked. It is impossible to unlock the Aura gates out of order, as the body would not be able to handle it if it were done so.

    Bender: Benders have the power to utilize their Qin to bend, alter or defy the rules of reality and the universe by applying it to their environment or themselves.
    
    Note: Benders cannot use their powers like a god i.e. cannot raise the dead, cannot make themselves invincible, cannot manipulate other living beings or creatures.
    
    Ex: Person A is a Bender. His Qin or power is the ability to defy physics such as walking up walls, moving on par with a Mover, ignoring gravity to fly / float or increasing the personal gravity of others. He cannot stop bullets with his power or trump a Brute, or become invincible.

    Changer: Changers have the power to utilize their Qin to alter their bodies on a atomic or biological level.
    
    Note: Changers cannot use their power to gain regeneration levels that will revive them from disintegration or dismembering / decapitation.
    
    Ex: : Person B is a Changer and has the power to duplicate limbs or duplicate a certain number of themselves. They can shift into monstrous forms or become a certain animal.

    Brute: Brutes have the power to utilize their Qin to achieve levels of strength and durability that surpass that of any Aura User.
    
    Ex: Person C can utilize their Qin to augment their physical abilities to surpass that of the average Aura User.
    
    Note: Users sacrifice speed for Strength. This is not to say they are slow, but Brutes are not the fastest of Aura Users around. Fastest they can get is Supersonic at max or Subsonic which is the norm for most Brutes.

    Enhancer: A Enhancer's Qin grants them immunity to certain types of attacks, which they then use as catalysts to increase themselves physically or can use to emit some sort of energy attack in return.
    
    Ex: Person D gets hit by lightning, they can use this as a physical boost to increase their strength to match a Brute. This means all electricity based attacks of any kind will not work on them and will only serve to enhance them. They could also take this lightning and discharge it back twice as hard, but they do not gain the power to manipulate lighting in any shape or form.
    
    Note: Enhancers may gain a form of nigh-invulnerability, but an Enhancer is limited to only one form of enhancement. Take Person D, they can take hits from lightning and increase their strength or send the lightning back but they don't get the power to absorb other forms of energy like fire, nor are they invincible to harm.
    
  • 
    Emitter: Emitters have the power to utilize their Qin for either elemental or energy manipulation. They can use these abilities as projectiles or other forms of unique applications like crafting constructs etc. However their creations do not last indefinitely and must follow the laws of reality.
    
    Note: Emitters don't get full access to all elements or forms of energy, they get one and only one elemental or energy type of ability and even then they do not get every single aspect of their elemental or energy based power nor do they gain the power to enhance themselves with whatever energy power they have.
    
    Ex: Person E has pyrokinesis. They can create weapon constructs out of their fire, shoot it as a projectile and have a certain level of fireproof bodies. They however cannot manipulate flames outside of their Qin, cannot teleport with flames, and cannot absorb flames to empower themselves.

    Mover: Movers have the power to utilize a Qin that grants them either teleportation, portal, stealth, dimension, or super speed based abilities.
    
    Note: Movers do not gain much in Strength, but are the fastest of all Aura users. They can cover distances quicker than any Aura Type can.
    
    Ex: Person F has the power to teleport long distances and can teleport objects to themselves in a matter of seconds. They cannot however, teleport other people or object they aren't touching.

    Creator: Creators have the power to use their Qin to make or bring things in reality, be it creature, construct, landscape, or mortal either from their imagination or from other worlds, stories, shows or dimensions.
    
    Note: Creators cannot create or bring entities or things that are invincible / invulnerable or have divine power levels. They can't bring gods into the world, and do not have divine powers.
    
    Ex: Person G can use their powers to create a Phoenix. Their phoenix, is nothing but a copy of the original and while strong, it is not invincible nor will it ever be invincible.

    Disruptor: Disruptors use their Qin to create mental disturbances that can be used to manipulate / distort the senses i.e. hallucinations or illusions, or to a minor degree manipulate others or animals by invoking psychic suggestions.
    
    Note: Disruptors cannot use their powers to mind control other beings or creatures. Their powers allow them to manipulate the senses or perceptions of others within limits.
    
    Ex: Person I can affect a person’s ability to hear sounds, they can make sounds like their voice similar to a friends or induce visuals that seem real but aren’t, within a certain range, however other people that they aren't targeting will not hear these sounds or see these visuals.

    Sensor: Sensors have the power to use their Qin to gain precognition, empath or supernatural sensory abilities.
    
    Note: Sensors do not gain powers that allow them Omniscience nor do they gain mind control abilities.
    
    Ex: Person H can sense the presence of a Bender who's Qin gives them the ability to go unnoticed to the human eye.

    Thinker: Thinkers perform telekinetic / psychic feats with their abilities in general or gain heightened processing capabilities or a mixture of both.

  General Inforamtion
  Kojin or Ki Manipulation is an ability only aura users can perform.
  
  Kojin is where an experienced Aura User who understands the functions of their Aura and the nature of Ki, can access another aura type they are compatible with by altering Ki itself and using the altered energy in relation to their own powers.
  
  
  Kojin Users
  Kojin users can be of any species, can be either a Single or Dual, and is separate from the Ki Ability of Mystics.
  
  When a Kojin user manipulates Ki they are transmuting it into a different form of energy known as Qui: stable energy that grants a skilled user access to another Aura Type.
  
  
  Single Users
  Can have either one Positive or one Neutral. The boon of a single user is their Kojin acts like a Main (meaning they have a large range of things they can do within that type) however as said before, the Kojin will always follow the rules of a person's Main Type.
  
  Ex
  Person A. Main | Kojin: Emitter | Mover.
  
  This person can control rock and stone as their power / Qin. But their Mover extra also allows them to use rocks or stones as focus points to increase their speed or teleport in the same space as a rock thrown into the air etc.
  
  
  Single User Limits
  - Kojin follows the same rules as the Main of its user.
  
  -Kojin is like a second Main. But is only active when Kojin is being used.
  
  - Can only be Positive or Neutral
  
  Example
  A Enhancer who can absorb lightning to use it for different effects has a Bender Kojin. They can alter the physics of the lightning so that when they discharge it and it hits something it bounces or does not hurt someone. But their Kojin does not give them the power to defy physics on their own the way an actual Bender can.
  
  To do that they would need to be a Dual User. But then they wouldn't be able to effect their lightning as described above.
  
  
  Dual Users
  As long as the Kojin does not contradict the Main can bave:
  
  1. If they have two aura types that give a positive they can only take one Neutral.
  
  2. If they have two aura types that give a neutral they can only have one Positive or one Neutral.
  
  A Dual Users Kojin grants an extra Sub type instead of a Main.
  
  
  Single User Limits
  - Kojin follows the rules of the Main.
  
  -Kojin is like a second Sub and is only active when being used.
  
  - Dual Users can only be Positive & Neutra or Neutral & Neutral
  
  Example
  An Enhancer has a Bender sub. So they can absorb lightening to increase their speed or strength and can use their Bender sub to manipulate their own gravity so that they can fly for short periods or float.
  
  We will give this Enhancer a Neutral so their Kojin is a Mover.
  
  The only added effect they get is short teleportation of themselves that only works when they have absorbed lightning.

  General Inforamtion
  Dust is a natural crystal energy propellant that can be affected by Aura, and is the most common used resource in the world of Sigma. It is single handedly responsible for the worlds alarming advancement in technology, and has a important history with Aura Users and the Academies.
  
  Note1: The Leagus family are the founders and current owners of Legacy Inc, a company that plays a huge role in the application of Dust and manufacturing of all sorts of materials. Alanex Leagus is the current president of the company. Neither of his sons will inherit it as they have both followed in his footsteps and become Paladin.
  
  Note2: Nicholas Schnee is the founder of the Schnee Dust Company and his chose successor Jeff Guwua and VP / Son-in-Law of Nicholas, Jacques Gele, are the current supervisors of the Schnee Dust Company.
  
  Note3: The Bitwuan Family own several BioMech businesses and are responsible for the BioMech being as prominent as it is. The Ainz family and Bitwuan's are socially known to despise each other, starting from a generation back. No one knows why exactly, but it started 35 years ago between Shinji Bitwuan and Xavier Ainz relationship as partners before Shinji's family name skyrocketed to popularity and left the Ainz in the dust.
  
  
  
  

  Types of Dust
  Dust comes in multiple forms but the most basic four are:
  
  I) Water
  II) Fire
  III) Earth
  IV) Wind
  
  Dust can be combined either artificially or naturally to create other unique forms. Some examples of these are Light, Darkness, Ice, Steam etc. These different crystals can be used to power machines ranging from airships to hoverboards and so much more.
  
  
  Applications of Dust
  Dust has multiple applications, but the most prominent applications of Dust are in technological advancement, and the Obelisk Academies.
  
  
  
  

  Technology
  Today, Dust has replaced many of the more common forms of resources and has ultimately made its way through practically every facet of technology. Phones, cars, airships, are all generally powered by some form of Dust or fortified by it in some way. Either mixed with alloys and metals or used as a core sense of power or energy.
  
  
  
  

  Weapons & The Academies
  
  The manufacturing of weapons and ammunition in modern society are particularly made from certain types of Dust in combination with metals. In fact if it weren’t for Dust, the Academies and all Aura Users wouldn’t be able to fight Grimm with weapons as normal weapons break down, rust or wear when Aura is applied to them after a short period of time.
  
  Dust’s application to metals allows all metals with dust properties to handle Aura or Qin. In modern society all metals have some form of dust implemented in them, and it is because of the academies that Dust has been so profusely mixed into the weapons of today for the use of Paladins to fight Grimm or face off against other Aura Users.
  
  
  
  

  Clothing
  Weaving Dust into clothing for unique designs is an especially common and popular feature among certain kingdoms. One can make a coat appear wispy as if the tails of the coat were made out of snowflakes instead of fabric or haver their clothes emit faint embery sparks that disappear into the wind.
  
  
  
  

  Aura Application
  
  Aura can be used to activate Dust’s elemental properties, this can only be done in two ways either in Dust’s natural crystal form to empower one’s abilities or firepower with some sort of elemental feat or augmenting the strength of the metal with one’s own aura.
  
  As the application of Aura to weapons is what makes it easier to kill Grimm outside of simply using one’s Qin.
  
  
  
  

  BioMech Tech
  Biomech technology are bionics that are extremely pricey to get your hands on. Early versions of Biomech could only be used for combat purposes only and were available for Paladins and only to Paladins because resources to make them were hard to find before the Schnee Dust Company, Bitwuan Corps, and Legacy Inc.
  
  Currently, Paladins are given this tech if their bodies are seriously damaged. Losing an arm, losing an eye, a leg or hand, these things can be replaced with Biomech and function like a normal appendage would. Aura can also be channeled through them as Dust is used to make Biomech function.

  Obelisk Academies
  The Obelisk Academies are the successors of the Huntsmen Academies. They were created for the purpose to train people who could manipulate their Aura known as Aura Users, to fight Grimm and handle any other supernatural occurrences relating to Grimm or other Aura Users. These academies have existed for 103 years and the graduates of these Academies are known as Paladin.
  
  It takes 4 years in total to graduate from an Obelisk Academy, after which a graduate is a Licensed Paladin.
  
  
  
  

  Paladins & Present Time
  Paladins are free to join any organization, government, or group they want with the only stipulation being that they are recorded by the Obelisk Academies as being a Paladin along with their Aura Type and known abilities.
  
  Because Paladins are recorded in the Paladin Tracking System (PTS) and all kingdoms allow for Paladins to work freely, all the kingdoms share a tracking record of every Paladin or Paladin Student in existence that has graduated or joined an Obelisk Academy and keep records of that Paladin regardless of whether they work
  
  
  Headmasters
  Headmasters are Paladins who have the most influence in the Obelisk Academies. They work with the Government to create missions that allow all Paladins, be they Sentry or licensed, the ability to earn money and status by taking up missions across all of Sigma.
  
  They are essentially your generals.
  
  
  

  Sentries
  Sentries are the students of the Obelisk Academies. To be a Sentry is to have a responsibility to fight Grimm. All Sentries are required to spend 4 years in an Obelisk Academy before being given a Paladin license

  The Paladin Laws
  These are the absolute Laws that apply to all Paladins regardless of their affiliation to any state or nation.
  
  1. All Paladins must hunt and kill Grimm.
  
  2. Paladins are forbidden from using their Aura on non-users in any threatening/ harmful way.
  Note: Unless that person poses a serious threat to a community or civil lifestyle.
  
  3. Paladins are forbidden from revealing the existence of Aura to non-users unless said non-users are students.
  
  a) Paladins are forbidden from informing the general public through any form of media or training organization of the existence of Aura.
  
  b) A non-official Paladin is allowed to take up to only 5 students unless they are affiliated to the Academies. Each student is to swear to never reveal the existence of Aura to non-users or otherwise face punishment by the Headmaster's decree.​
  
  4. All Future Paladins before entering the Obelisk Academies, must be skilled in a certain form of martial arts proficiency. Having one's aura activated is the minimum requirement for even being considered to join the Obelisk Academy of any nation.
  
  5. A Paladin's status can never be stripped from them, even by the Head of State, losing their license however strips them from any and all benefits they had.
  
  
  These benefits include:
  -Public status
  -Media intervention
  -Paladin funds which are given to them after graduating the academy. Funds range within the millions.
  -Amnesty So Long As They Do Not slaughter innocents.
  - Advanced Gear & Dust
  
  
  6. Paladins are required to kill or exterminate anyone or any organization that hunts other species for sport or any other inane reason. They are not allowed to hunt other species, outside of Grimm.
  
  7. Paladins are not allowed to hunt other Paladins unless they have committed atrocities worthy of punishment.
  
  8. Paladins who are veterans, gain star rankings from One to Five. All Paladins upon graduating are of the One star and go up the star rank the more skilled and popular they become. Headmasters are all 5 star Paladins as they are globally known.
  
  9. Paladins who are of the three star rank will receive four stars for performing feats that have saved large population from grave danger.
  
  10. Any Paladin who discovers a entity that threatens the existence of the Academies must report directly to a Headmaster.
  
  11. Headmasters & the Head of State are allowed to request meetings with other Paladins for whatever reason, Paladins are not allowed to refuse these invitations.
  
  12. Any Aura User that poses a threat to the secrets of the Academies is to be captured immediately. Extermination is only an option if it is the only option.
  
  13. Any job on the Paladin Mission Network System assigned to a specific Paladin by the government or Headmaster, is to be taken and completed without argument or rebuttal. Fees will be given in turn for a successful completion.
  
  UNLESS: Unless a job does breaks any of the above mentioned laws or unless a job severely contradicts a Paladin's alignment, in the case they are not a government operative, they will be required to take the job.
  
  

  The Guardian Exam

  The Guardian Exam is a mandatory exam taken by all Graduate TSF Students on the island of Alexandria in The Tower. The exam is held once a year, every year, for all graduates to participate for those interested in joining a Obelisk Academy to become a Paladin.
  
  People who are already students of Obelisk Academies have taken this exam and passed. Those that fail are forced to wait a year to retake the exam.
  
  These exams are created by a combination of the Head of State / government working with all the Headmasters on a specific date to formulate these exams, with the presence of 8 Supervisors, people who will oversee the exam.
  
  

  
  

  Supervisors

  A supervisor is a skilled Paladin who is of two star rank or above. They oversee the execution of the Guardian Exams and are infallible from start to finish of the exam. Supervisors are not required to help or aide graduates who are in danger. If there are graduates that pose the possibility of losing their lives, the Supervisor is required to inform them that they are to leave. It is up to all graduates whether they wish to stay or not during these exams after having been given a warning that the Supervisors are not required to come to their aide if their lives are in danger.
  
  

  
  

  The Exam

  The Guardian Exam itself, is a life-threatening exam. Anyone who takes this exam is willing to be injured, maimed, or even suffer death. These exams are not games, they force you into situations that you would face on the field. TSF Examiners otherwise skilled Paladins themselves act as the supervisors to these exams and are meant to watch and study examiners who take it while participating in the exam as guides themselves to reach a specific end goal.
  
  You're free to work anyway you want, either on your own, in teams or otherwise. If you are in danger you are expected to get yourself out of it on your own as the Supervisor has no obligation to help you unless they choose to or feel like it. Death is a part of being a Sentry or Paladin, playing around will only get you killed and unnecessary deaths are not welcomed on the field. If you are too injured to continue, you will be beamed out and escorted to a hospital where any bills will be paid. If you are killed, your relatives and friends will be sent a simple notification and what you did do and what you shouldn't have done.
  
  Every graduate knows what they are getting into. No one forces you to take the exam, you choose to of your own free will.

  The Star System
  This system explains the contributions of a Paladin to society. Paladins are given stars for having contributed in important events that have been beneficial to society.
  
  
  
  

  1 Star
  One Star Paladins are given the One Star rank upon graduating from the Obelisk Academy and proving they have displayed skills that make them a figure capable of handling Grimms on their own without any form of support from either other Paladins or regular law enforcement.

  Legend of the Great Division
  The legend of the Great Division is an old folk tale from the past that tells the story of Grimm’s first appearance and the introduction of all powerful items lost to time called The Artifacts
  
  
  The Artifacts
  Are legendary artifacts considered to be capable of making anyone who wields them, with or without Aura a literal demigod or actual god. These artifacts are divided into two groups. Relics and Fragments.
  
  
  
  

  The Relics
  The Relics are four divine items that are said to grant the wielder of all four the power to control the fate of a world, rewrite the rules of the universe, or open portals to completely alternate world or dimensions like that of a true god. These Relics are called:

  The Fragments
  The Fragments are 5 powerful gem fragments that are said to be powerful enough that they have intelligence and can be wielded only by those they have chosen as its wielder. It is believed to be possible to wield all five at once, but other stories say that it is impossible for one wielder to hold all 5 and thus requires multiple wielders to use it. These fragments when brought together can grant a wielder control over life, death, and the ability to see into other worlds. These Fragments are listed below:

  The Story
  This is a story, a folklore or legend, that occurred at a time long before the awareness of Aura, existence of the Aviators or discovery of Dust.
  
  No one really knows how exactly Grimm came to be, whether they are mythological creatures that simply were corrupted by something else or not, what Grimm are is unknown but what they can do is outlined clearly in the Great Division.
  
  Legend has it that Grimm never existed along side humanity. They are a curse. A existence born with the sole intent to wipe out all human, elf, giant, and Faunik life. They attacked humans first, then turned humans against Faunik. Once humans had turned on Faunik, Grimm began attacking them also, harming both species in hopes of either exterminating them or cutting down their growing populations. Because of these attacks, technology and progress got set back and slowed down as the Grimm's numbers grew and grew over the years and centuries.
  
  And with each passing century the Grimm too, changed. If man or Faunik found a way to beat them once, they would always come back again. Stronger, different, more bloodthirsty but more cautious than before. They would hunt in groups and turn Faunik against Human, human against faunik and when tensions were high enough they would attack both sides mercilessly.
  
  It was only when 9 heroes emerged through the chaos, led by 14 sovereigns who brought with them Relics and Fragments, were the only ones able to put all the madness and chaos to an end. However they were not able to put a complete end to Grimm or the irreversible damage they had done.
  
  Whether those heroes and sovereigns gave their lives up to stop the apocalypse is unknown. What is known is that not long after they vanished when stability had returned, the Huntsmen Academies were formed, and the Obelisk Academies were made their successors shortly after the Great War.

  The Aviators
  Aviators are considered to be beings that live only in the world of fairy tales, legends, and stories. They are not considered to be real in the world of Sigma, but the legend of Aviators is a world renowned story. The initial legend of Aviators has been muddled since its existed for centuries, but what is commonly known is that the first four Aviators were women, four in total, each had a name representing a season. It is said their powers are tied to the elements and give them abilities that can match even Expert Qin users without a problem.
  
  It is also said that Aviators have a natural power to sense The Artifacts.
  
  
  Fact
  Aviators are real, this however is only known to the Headmasters of the Obelisk Academies,specific Paladins, Certain World Leaders, and very few organizations. Any organization or group that is aware of an Aviator is watched closely by the government and exterminated from existence if necessary. In modern times the concept of Aviators have been made into legend. No one believes they exist, and they are believed to be nothing more than stories.
  
  
  Reasons Aviators Are Hidden.
  In the initial legend it is implied that Aviators pass their powers on to a new worthy user when they die or if they relinquish hold of their powers they can select a candidate for those powers to go to. Legend tend to divide Aviators into two groups.

  2. Maiden | Female Aviator
  
  Outside of their power putting them on par with Three Star or Four Star Users, Aviators have the ability to sense the Fragments and each Aviator has a connection to one Relic. To avoid their abilities from getting into the wrong hands, Aviators have been turned into myth and legend and are protected by an organization known as the Society, a group that has ties with the Academies.

Color Notices
