Gly is overall calm and gentle. She has a hard-time speaking up for herself, and tends to stay in the back of the crowd. Her soft demeanor makes her susceptible to many friends, which she enjoys greatly. Despite her seemingly shy nature, she is quite social with those who are more than acquaintances. She has excellent manners from years of schooling at her previous dwelling, and heaps of education.

Bio: As a little fry, she stayed around the underwater castles and noble dwellings rather than getting to interact with common folk. She didn't have many friends her age as her mother failed to have any other children due to egg shortages. So, all of the education that was meant for an entire litter of merfolk was given to the one daughter. Of course, this put her under stress and she failed to complete most tasks given to her. She became terrible at commanding servants and her heralds. Her father was over-joyed when he had heard of an academy made just for monsters had opened. His daughter could finally socialize and get an education that he had failed to give.

Back Story: It's very easy to guess that the waters weren't very affected by the ongoing wars on the surface. They had gotten off lucky that humans had such a short tolerance for H2O. This allowed them to use their fundings building their empires rather than on soldiers and defense for the great wars. It is opinionated, but the worlds oceans seem to carry the largest and the most beautiful kingdoms. They ran on education, literature and other forms of art rather than the more barbaric actions of their kin land-dwellers. The kingdom of ωκεανός was built many decades ago. It was meant to be a sanction from the politics going on within the other waters. This lead to the kingdom not being very politically correct. Which means the children of that kingdom weren't either.

Personality: Alexander is autistic and that has quite the impact on his personality. He is analytical, working off of formulas and routines more than anything else. He finds it very hard to understand, empathise with and relate to other people, what they do or why they do it. Alexander cannot comprehend some abstract concepts, only really understanding things that can be properly sorted into 'right and wrong'. Alexander doesn't deal well with spontaneity or improvisation, he only really does something if he has a step-by-step routine or plan in mind for it. Despite all this, Alexander is just a small, curious child with a huge heart and a lot to learn about the world.

Bio: Alex grew up in and around castles. As most Vixen have two tails, Jason has only one, probably because he's half human. While he is a bastard child, the prince still acknowledges him and he is even legitimately in line for the throne. His learning disorders became apparent at a young age and his tutor worked well with him to understand what he was being taught. He was well-loved by both the castle staff and the kingdom's people for his cuteness, charm and the fact that even though he's half monster, he's still their prince. He was sent off to Setonas to prepare and teach Alexander about ruling in an environment better suited to his needs.

Back Story: The royal family of the Oakwood Kingdom has been a complicated one for generations. From family ties in other nations to a recent civil war changing the ruling family. The current monarch, Queen Catherine, has two children: Prince Nathan II and Princess Isabelle. Prince Nathan, the first in line, has four children: Prince Alexander, Prince Nathan III, Princess Anne and Prince William. Alexander came about from an affair scandal where Prince Nathan impregnated one of his servants, a Vixen, resulting in a bastard child and a divorce with his Duchess.

Helper: Alexander's helper is a small spirit resembling a young boy. He claims to be a younger version of the spirit of Alexander's great-grandfather, the former King Nathan I. Somehow, this spirit knows Setonas Academy like the back of his hand.

Personality: Aurora is very cheerful and energetic towards everything and everyone. She zips around places and never seems to rest. She is kind and caring and has a warm personality. She can be calm when she needs to be and tries to make wise decisions like her parents would.

Bio: Aurora was a star, distant in the sky. Her mother was the queen of the stars, her father the king. They showed her what she would rule over when she was old enough. But on their journey to see the stars she fell to Earth. Humans saw a shooting star, but it was a child separated from her family. When she crashed she stayed in her little crater and cried. Her parents couldn't come get her - they were much too large to go unnoticed.
Eventually a little boy found her, mistaking her at first for a firefly. When he saw she was not a glowing bug he helped her get out of the crater. She didn't speak English at all, having only learned the language of the stars. He brought her back to his house, keeping her a secret from his mom, and took care of her. He even taught her English slowly. He found what she liked, what she needed to stay healthy, and even what she liked doing when he wasn't with her. But when she got older she learned about the school for monsters. She talked with the boy and he hesitantly let her leave. He gave her some things she might need before she left and she thanked him, gifting him with stardust as a parting gift.

Back Story: For centuries humans believed the stars were just big balls of gas, but that's what the stars wanted the humans to believe. The stars have disguised themselves to diffuse the curiosity of humans. Aurora's family has rules over the stars for millennia. They keep them safe from wandering human gaze and help them burn brighter for as long as they can. Every star meets it's end sooner or later. They were a peaceful existence. They didn't fight or provoke any others in the vast expanse of the galaxy. The sun that humans all cherish for warmth is not a star at all, but the home for the royal family. When Aurora fell to Earth they went into a panic. Their only heir was lost to the human world. Hopefully she can return one day.

Personality: For a dead girl, Rebecca's pretty lively. She enjoys all sorts of adventures, and often went climbing in the mountains of Willowby. She has a very patient nature- after all, she's effectively immortal, though she can still be harmed by magical damage to the phylactery in her chest. She has a friendly temper, unless someone calls her a zombie- then they're at risk of finding their very soul rotting.

Bio: Maybe it was being born under a new moon on Halloween, maybe it was a love of all things dark and creepy, maybe it was just chance, but Rebecca always had a talent for necromancy. Calling up zombies and spirits of the dead was easy for her, and she became known as a powerful witch. But it wasn't enough to save her when she got tuberculosis.

As she became weaker, and it became harder to breathe, Rebecca turned desperate. Eventually, she delved into truly black magic, placing her soul into a crystal, then ripping out her own heart and putting the crystal in her chest. Now that she was undead, her necromantic powers truly blossomed, and she was easily accepted into Setonas.

Backstory: House Aldin is a prosperous family, due to the silver and iron mines in their mountainous lands. The current Duke, Roger Aldin, is married to Edwina Greene, a relative of the Count of Dinwiddie, one of the Duke's several vassals. Rebecca is their only child.

Ali has an aura of confidence whether it's real or not, often coming off as egotistical or aragont. He doesn't like to show his weakpoints to others, even if he is close to someone. He is bold with every move he makes, and talks down to others with equal attention. Bio:
Being born into such a powerhouse of a family, Ali's life was always destined to be intertwined with another. Similar to many of his relatives, Ali is able to grant unlimited wishes but unlike the others, his ability to resist isn't as strong. Once a royal's blood touches his lamp, Ali will be bound to their will. The labyrinth that contains his lamp has yet to be conquered, and after a few years of just waiting for someone to finally get through the labyrinth it has been decided that he might as well get an education so he'll be in proper form for the day he gets a master . . . Whenever that may be.

The Asghar family has always been a powerhouse of genies, their bloodline rising to royalty from their sheer power. It is said that the best rulers in the world have been served by the Asghar family. While most genies are only capable of granting wishes in a single category, the Asghar family's magic is more general, many of the members having the ability to grant more than three wishes to their masters.
Which is why rulers all over the globe search for the hidden labyrinths that contain an Asghar lamp. Even if someone conquers an Asghar Labyrinth, it isn't a guaranteed win as Asghars are able to reject Masters with the exception of meeting a certain requirement. Personality: Aeterni is a proud Dragonoid who loves to play the villain; but in reality he loves cute things and various types of art. He is very protective over his friends and would do everything to make them happy.

Bio: Aeterni was always different from the others, he never chased Butterflies or tried to kill Rabbits, some even thought he was maybe a bad Egg. Though, he was the strongest of all, his flames were much stronger and he caught, without help, the biggest pray on the whole Mountain. So to make him a better leader, his father wanted him to attend to this academy so he could get acquainted with the other nobles and learn how to be a good representative of his kind.


Back Story: The Dragonoids and the Dragons were front-fighters in the Great War and thier abilities over the elements helped them without a doubt. They live in the highest peaks of every Mountain in the Continent they claimed in the Great War. They usually stray from the human mining areas, as that causes unnecessary conflict. They are territorial as they are proud and competitive, they never back down without a fight.

Species Lore: These organisms are almost exclusively found in the Sol system's asteroid belt. When on an asteroid, the species exists as multiple large communities of many small spore-like creatures. (close up of individual in left image) Here, they sit on the surface and absorb any organic molecules that fall to the surface from meteorites and cosmic dust. They thrive in this environment, but are limited to a very minimal stage of intelligence. Each individual Comtarian is able to communicate to others via contact with their tendrils or electric pulses; this allows a single community to work together, moving to spots of better nutrient gain, etc.
The only other place Comtarians exist is on Earth, but under very specific circumstances; a meteorite came into contact with a Comtarian rich asteroid and blasted them into space. This is how the species is able to seed other asteroids and spread, but one group managed to make it to Earth. They survived atmospheric entry by covering themselves in a hard, outer layer; needless to say, these Comtarians rather "enjoyed" this new, nutrient rich world they now found themselves on. (more information on Glash in the bio)

Abilities: Electrical Shock: When enough Comtarians are grouped together, they are able to utilize their electrical capabilities on a macro scale. They can only send non-lethal shocks from any part of the swarm; this can also be used by Glash as a means of communicating with any other organism that uses electrical pulses in their bodies. (humans, reptiles, fish, etc.) Let it be known that these shocks will never be enough to kill something, even when fully agitated, and they put a lot of strain on the Glash swarm.
Shape manipulation: The Glash swarm is able to fill up different spaces, allowing them to change the overall size and shape of the swarm. This allows for humanoid forms, flying forms, or being able to travel through small spaces. The swarm can even hide itself if necessary by spreading the swarm really thin. Unfortunately, the Glash swarm always has an urge to stick together in a large form, so the latter form manipulation abilities are somewhat limited.
Moderate heat resistance: Despite the first generation surviving atmospheric entry, where temperatures reached nearly 3000 degrees Fahrenheit, the newer generations have not needed such a tough heat shielding anymore. As such, each individual in the Glash swarm can still survive temperatures well beyond most organisms, but it can only handle up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit now.

Personality: Indifferent to almost everything, unless it manages to involve the Glash swarm in any way. Somewhat naive and unknowing of many things on Earth. Talks in a "we" and third person fashion. Has a strong focus on education seconded only to thoughts of the swarm's survival. Unfortunately, Glash has yet to grasp concepts of empathy and morality; so don't expect it to make a good person to tell your problems to. Stays in a humanoid shape most of the time to make coexistence rather streamlined with the academy's other inhabitants.

Bio: This particular colony, or rather, the first generation of it, found itself landing on Earth 30 years ago. The overbearing abundance of nutrients in the air, soil and water allowed the colony to go into overdrive. Many generations grew and passed in the first year of Earth life; such speedy growth led to mutations happening on an equally quick scale. The colony was able to utilize electrical impulses in more complex means of communication, originally starting as many intelligences that eventually developed into a singular hive mind. This development lead to more complex thinking and even sentience.

This new singular entity learned to control each individual Comtarian in its colony and was able to move any of them in any direction. This is the start of its form manipulation abilities and even the powerful electrical shocks as well. Since the species feeds by absorbing nutrients from its surroundings, this gave the colony a practically endless amount of time to observe this planet and learn. By observing species such as dogs and humans, this colony (more like a swarm now) learned how to make vocalizations as a means of communication. Controlling many individuals of the swarm, their hard shells are scraped against each other that produce sounds similar to our languages. It wasn't just practical concepts this swarm learned, but more philosophical ideas as well. A sense of self was the most important one, as this lead to the swarm developing a vocalization to identify itself. This vocalization was "Glash", and has been used by the swarm to identify itself ever since.

Glash then started to focus more on enhancing its understand of itself involved with this planet. One concept it cannot grasp is that of aging and death; since individuals in the swarm live and die regardless of the intelligence's existence. (Much like how the cells in our bodies live and die, regardless of our awareness of them).

When Glash was discovered by someone from the Setonas Academy, it was brought in to protect it from unknowing humans and as a means to study it. Glash didn't really care much, but since this served as a means to the swarm existing, it stays at the academy and is sometimes involved in training.

Status: an extrademensional prince

Personality: Perrin is playacting a human as he perceives them from cartoons and anime he has seen. He'll get more natural as he gets used to 3 dimensions and linear time. Ultimately he tries to exemplify everything he considers cute and cuddly

Backstory: That is hard to explain to 3rd dimensional beings. They understand things in terms of linear time, however that is a foreign concept to his dimension. As best as Perrin could explain it, he became enraptured with 3rd dimensional pop culture and cartoons after he learned how to watch them properly. After he had learned the images flowed together through linear time to create the illusion of movement, he was mesmerized by the humans creativity.

After much petitioning with his father, he was given permission to interact with the 3rd dimension. However he was going to need to behave himself while he interacted. No lording over the planet or misbehaving like that!

The king of their sixth dimensional home presented himself as an avatar in front of the governing body of the school, scaring them nearly senseless as he, in what he assumed was a polite manner, demanded enrollment for his son

Now, Perrin is ready to attend and live among the 3rd dimension, at least as much as he could with his Avatar.

Extrademensional: Though his Avatar looks human, it is more apt to think of it like a finger poking down into the 3rd dimension that he formed in the shape of a human. In truth his form is incomprehensible to 3rd dimensional beings. His magic is also foreign to the world, and though it took on the appearance of fire and lava and smoke, its just cause that is what is the closest equivalent.

Personality: Isolde is a very friendly in general. She loves to make others laugh and is pretty much always willing to offer a helping hand. She can also be a bit of a clutz which often leads her to arguments with her body. If it wasn’t for her Dullahan durability, she’d probably have suffered from various degrees of head trauma by now. Despite her apparent amicability, she can be off-putting to some. She can be a bit morbid, she appreciates tragic tales perhaps a bit too much, and her forced smiles seem almost sadistic. Despite this, she also has a hidden love for more wholesome stories, but this seems to embarrass her. She loves jokes, and she’ll often make light hearted, Dullahan-related puns, but she seems to have a particular fondness for dark humor.

Bio: Calling Isolde the “black sheep” of her family may be a bit of an exaggeration, but they have found some of her tendencies to be . . . worrying. She’s only third in line to the throne, but her parents have always held her to a similar standard to her elder siblings. Due to this, Isolde has always found herself to be several steps behind her elder sister. It seemed her sister always left a bar behind that she just couldn’t quite reach. Her sister is practically the epitome of grace and seriousness, fit to be a Dullahan Queen. Isolde’s more laidback and friendly nature is seen as weak in comparison. Her family sent her to this school in the hopes it would “straighten her out” and make her act with “at bit more nobility”.

Back Story: [ Family History ] In the earliest years, Dullahan merely served as protectors of the Fae (natural, magical creatures) of Ireland. Though a few of them, had been known to rule over humans. One particularly nasty (and ugly) Dullahan named Crom Dubh ruled over humans as a god and demanded yearly beheadings as sacrifices. He grew pretty infamous, and his cruel rule gave Dullahans everywhere a bad name (and ugly face in many depictions). During the earliest skirmishes between human and monsters, the Dullahan remained more passive in their role of protectors and their numbers thinned. Not being the most abundant monster to begin with and seeing their numbers diminish, one Dullahan gathered as many of her people and the fae they protected as she could, and they carved out their own small nation in an untamed, parallel reality with the Dullahan who’d gathered them as their leader.

Once the Great War came about, the Dullahans took a far more aggressive stance of their role as protectors. They had become far more war-like and battle hardened then their more passive ancestors. Their small nation became a nation of warriors, and they rightfully became known as heralds of death on the battlefield. They were one of the most reluctant to agree to the tense peace that now envelopes the world.
