      ☆ affectionate- cami has always shown her appreciation for people through touch and she appreciates people a lot. she's an absolute sweetheart and just wants to make everyone else feel happy. this may not always show in full on hugs, but she'll brush against people or lean on them a bit more than the average person.
      ☆ imaginative- cam has always had her head in the clouds. she is a writer and lives vicariously through her character's lives. whenever she is watching a show, she's always thinking up a new character or story to write.
      ☆ charming- everyone loves cam. she is great at getting along with other people and tends to find a new friend wherever she is. this can get annoying very easily for those she is around though. she is however, very easy to like after a short time.
      ☆ confident- this goes along with her charming nature. she's aware that people like her, so she's rather confident in herself. this is part of what draws people to her. camille loves herself and isn't afraid to show it.
      negatives-
      ★ indecisive- cami wants to make everyone happy. this makes it makes it very difficult for her to decide anything in which people's feelings get hurt. so, she just avoids making decisions and procrastinates as much as possible.
      ★ irresponsible- going along with her indecisiveness, cami wants to be an adult as little as possible. she wants to have fun all the time, which often puts her in dangerous situations.
      ★ self sacrificing- as cami sees so much good in the world, she thinks the best of it. so, she doesn't have much regard for her own life or safety.

      being born an accident to an upperclass family, camille got used to being alone at a young age. her parents were never around, so she taught herself everything. how to read, write, etc. this caused her to develop a larger imagination than most children, which has continued into her teen years. even now, she prefers escaping into a book or tv show, rather than dealing with real life. as she aged, this has only gotten worse, since her parents recently had another child, which has taken all their attention. this has created some severe attachment issues in the young girl, as well as a tendency to escape rather than deal with her issues.

  ☆ Analytical - eleanor is a warrior and sees the world as her battleground. everywhere she goes is a combat zone and she analyzes it as such.
  ☆ Protective - though she tries not to, eleanor does care deeply for others and wants the best for them. she prides herself on being able to physically protect those around her, even if she dislikes them.
  ☆ Confident - eleanor is aware that she is a badass and acts as such. she walks into most rooms assuming that she is the smartest in them. this can draw people to her, but it also can be her downfall.

  history : eleanor was born sometime in the 1920s to a member of the mob. as the oldest of seven, she was expected to take over her father's position and was raised as such. she learned shoot, strategize, and escape the police at a very young age. she was in and out of prison as a child and that only continued as she grew. however, that all changed when she was in her early adulthood and her younger brother was murdered "in the line of duty". this broke her. eleanor betrayed her father to the police and lived out her remaining days in police custody. she ended up contracting polio and passing away, but due to her actions on her father's behalf, she was forced to be a guardian angel after her death.
  
  years later, eleanor became the guardian of a man named michael. he brought out a different side of her. she was finally happy. the once bitter girl became playful and loving. they fell in love, it's as simple as that. but then something happened. michael was attacked while she had her guard down and he died in his lover's arms. she hasn't been the same since.
  
  ten years later, eleanor is still damaged, but working through it and ready to protect a new celestial. the way michael would want her to.

  • POSITIVE TRAITS
    -Calm. Chris adapts easily to any situation with a smile. This unique ability is partially due to a general chill nature, and partially due to his reliance on alcohol as his only coping mechanism.
    -Good sense of humor. Chris is the person to find the humor in any and all situations. He's always been the one to lighten the mood and be the class clown.
    -Adventurous. Though Chris is able to find joy in the mundane, he does get easily bored and loves exploring. Granted, this mostly translates to climbing a tree nearby his celestial, as he can't travel as far as he wishes to.
    -Friendly. Chris is the type of guy who knows everybody. He's easy to get along with and makes friends easily. However, his issue comes when attempting to deepen these friendships past the surface level.
    NEGATIVE TRAITS
    -Judgmental. Though Chris gets along with most people, that doesn't stop him from disliking them. He doesn't show it often, but he often judges people within a split second of meeting them. This more than likely is just about how much fun they will be and if he should involve them in his shenanigans, but occasionally includes something deeper.
    -Rebellious. Chris loves to stray from the path others set out for him. Whether this is because of a dislike of authority or a desire for something more in life, even he doesn't know.
    -Self Destructive. Chris knows his behavior isn't healthy. That's the entire point. After everything he has done, he worries that his happiness is fleeting and he doesn't deserve it. Therefore, he uses temporary sources to bring him some sort of joy, even if it only lasts a minute.
    -Addictive. I wouldn't say he is addicted to drinking, but Chris definitely uses drugs, sex, or other similar substances to bring peace to his life. He gets addicted to things whenever they do bring him that happiness. So, for example if he began to find joy out of video games, he would play them for days straight until he got bored of it.

  • Christopher was born a typical child in the year 1950 to your "perfect" American family. He was the middle child of three, with his mother as a homemaker and his father as a government figure. His parents didn't get along well though, but divorce was still taboo in their area, so they stayed together "for the sake of the family". As the middle child, he was often forgotten and he began to resent his family.
    
    By the time his was sixteen, the sixties were in full swing. Music festivals had begun to grow popular, as did the substances that went along with them. This is when Chris's drug habits began and they would not end until his death.
    
    At the age of nineteen, he decided to go to Woodstock, like many his age and economic class. However, this is where everything went wrong. During a party in a tent nearby the festival, Chris's best friend passed out. He began to foam from the mouth. Chris did nothing. He was too afraid of getting caught with his illegal drugs, so he didn't call for help. As far as many are concerned, Chris caused his best friend's death. He just couldn't deal with that and began to spiral.
    
    He died on his twenty first birthday when he wouldn't pay a local drug dealer an elevated price.

  Approachable: While she seems pretty straight forward and emotionless, she actually gets along with people very well. She seriously couldn't care less about what others think-in a judgemental way. She thinks every person is unique in their own way and actually really enjoys seeing that.
  Calm: It's very hard to get a rise out of her. She mostly has a straight face on, except for the occassional smile or frown as she's thinking. The most expressive you'll see her is when you get her talking about something she enjoys, especially if you enjoy that topic also.
  Curious: She's naturally curious about a lot of different things. She won't always show it, but you'll know either by her questions or her watchful eye.
  Honest: This girl will say anything on her mind. She doesn't believe in beating around the bush and will just tell you how it is. She'd try her best to not hurt your feelings-especially if she knows you're a sensitive person-but she wouldn't want to lead anyone on into thinking something else.

  Her family came from a very small town in the middle of the country, and her home was even further into the country. Her mother was almost never home, constantly travelling for work, and her father was a relatively closed off man, except when it came to her younger brother. The siblings were never incredibly close, especially with how much time her father and brother would spend together. Evie was often left to her own devices throughout the day, which is why she's very fond of animals and the outdoors. She had always believed in spiritual beings, whatever they are, so she'd often roam about in the fields and woods around her home just thinking. She'd always been quiet. Even from a young age she just didn't talk very much. At school, she'd often get in trouble for her bluntness, but she never understood the reason why, she had thought that people were supposed to tell the truth. From her time outdoors, she grew a love for plants, and does her best to take care of any that need it-of course, her powers definitely come in handy with that. She would often watch her father and brother interact and notice how different and the same they both seemed. When she turned 15, her mother wanted her to experience the world, and took her out of the small town and into different cities when she travelled for work. She liked and didn't like it. It wasn't the same as being able to go outside with fresh air, but she'd never seen so many different people and so many new things. While her mother worked, she'd walk around the neighborhood or sit in the commons area of wherever they were, and would either read or watch all of the different people interact.   The technical term for her power is botanokenisis, which basically means she can control and create anything plant related. It often came in handy when she was exploring the outdoors or when there would be a leak in the roof. Depending on how much or how big of a plant she moves, she often finds herself needing to recouperate, which usually leads to her daydream filled walks. She can control anything from the grass to the wood in houses, but tends to keep it more towards the typical, live, plants that grow outside. She's taught herself multiple different ways to heal yourself naturally, but still believes in going to the doctor of course. She can grow different plants, but that takes a bit more energy out of her than she likes. She'll do a simple flower if someone is curious about her powers, but other than that she doesn't really grow them herself. If she finds a plant that's in some rough shape, she'll sit by it and give it some energy to heal.   Observant: Octavia does observe everything that is around her, and with the help of her time manipulation. They know exactly what someone is doing, or what will happen to them.
  
  Quiet: Octavia prefers to be the quiet person, because she knows that whatever comes out of her mouth is going to be weird.
  
  Fortune Teller: Octavia does have a weird hobby of telling people's futures through tarot cards. Although, she does twist their future up a bit, because they don't want to scare them too badly.
  
  Smart: Octavia is a pretty smart girl, since she does read the books at the library. She gets Bs and As in her math and history classes.
  
  Calm: They are rarely angry at someone, because Octavia is usually calm in most situations.
  
  Negative:
  Lazy: Because Octavia can see everything that is related to time. She became lazy to care about almost anything.
  
  Extremely Judgmental: Octavia secretly judges people's actions in her diary. The diary just has a bunch of clock drawings at different times, and only Octavia knows what it means.
  
  Uncaring: Octavia doesn't care about someone's problems, despite knowing what is wrong with them. She just stares at them for a few minutes, and then walks away. There are exceptions to this personality.

  Time has always played an important role throughout the universe, since it keeps everything organized. From the animals to the seasons and so on, Time is there to prevent everything from going into chaos. Like for example, the humans or animals dying at the wrong time. The sun and moon staying in the sky at the same time, and etc.
  Why am I talking about that? Because that is related to Octavia the timekeeper.
  Born in a middle class family, people always assumed Octavia to be a quiet and smart kid. They rarely talk to anyone at their school, and those who do talk to her would do so, because of her fortune telling hobby.
  Both her family and the kids at her school would call Octavia creepy, since she keeps watching everybody like a hawk. But in reality, she does that, because they don't know what to say to people without being weird. Octavia for some reason likes clocks a bit too much, and she would write down what she sees in her diary by using the clock drawings. They are the only one, who knows what the clock drawings mean. Because if anyone tries to read her diary. They would just see a bunch of clock drawings, and would be confused by that.
  In fact, that worked against her little brother: Simon. He opened Octavia's diary after finding the key to the lock, and it confused him pretty badly. Simon then asked Octavia why she has a bunch of clock drawings in her diary. This caused her to be disappointed in her little brother, since he tried to read her diary. They told them to not do that again.
  Speaking about Simon, whenever he gets hurt. Octavia would stare at him before walking away. Simon would then tell their parents about that, since she didn't help him. Upon them asking Octavia why she didn't help her little brother. They said that he can get up by himself, and he doesn't need her help. Her parents told Octavia to be more caring about her little brother, but that never happened. They are uncaring, because she knows he will get up from the floor by himself.
  Nobody in her family knows what is wrong with Octavia, but little do they know about Octavia's secret. She has time manipulation, and every time they look at someone. They know what is going to happen to them, so for that reason. Octavia ended up being lazy, extremely judgmental, and uncaring. She sees no point in trying to do anything if she ends up seeing what is going to happen to someone in the future.

  Octavia has the power to manipulate time itself. It is called time manipulation, and it can do all of the time related things. This power can do time travel, see a person's past, present, or future, and etc. It can even accelerate, slow, and stop time, and they can make someone be stuck in an infinite loop if they want to.
  Time manipulation can kill someone if the user isn't careful, but lucky for us. Octavia doesn't abuse her power, since they know that time manipulation is dangerous.
  Note: Octavia can't freeze time for a very long time, since she is a newbie. Same goes with the infinite loop thing. They can't do time travel yet, or the other crazy stuff that time manipulation can do.
  Octavia only has Chrono Vision as of right now, and it appears in fragments.

  ლ Iron-willed - Acacius was raised to be a fighter, and so he is very good at pushing past adversity and does not give up easily. However, he is unsympathetic to those who struggle to do the same. While he will not leave someone lagging behind, he also will be sharp with them on their own weaknesses.
  
  ლ Charming - Or rather, he can be manipulative. Puts on an act to get what he needs when he needs it. Otherwise, he could care less about what others think.
  
  ლ Cold - Has hardened his heart to others. Very task and goal orientated. He respects strength and mental fortitude. The rest is trivial to him.
  
  ლ Lawfully Good - Despite his apathetic demeanor, he believes in following the laws, and doing right by others. In the traditional sense, some may say he is noble.
  
  ლ Mysogynistic - While not outright sexist, he has deep rooted beliefs and impressions that stem from being of a much older time. He doesn't approve of women on the front lines of...well, anything.   To put it simply, Acacius was born in the height of the Greco-Roman times. Raised to be a soldier in warring era, it was a miracle he lived as long as he did. It was, in fact, something else entirely that became his end. At the ripe age of fourteen, his celestial abilities showed, and he was immediately requested to receive an education at Praesidium Academia. Fortunately, it was not hard for a man of his age and status to just disappear. He was sorted as a time based celestial, with the ability to see a "clock" of sorts of any given organisms lifespan. He could add or subtracts seconds, and even minutes, after years of practice. This obviously could make the difference between life and death. His abilities would have been used to keep balance in check and fate on track. He was a rather good student, seemingly perfect on paper as an employee for the higher powers that be. He would have been, but as the story always goes, he met a woman and everything changed. She was another celestial, also with time based powers. He was madly in love, so much so that when she broke her oath and tried to use her gifts for evil, he was willing to stand by her. Using his own gifts, he interfered with Praesidium's plan to eradicate her. This led to a huge fiasco. Headquarters couldn't let such an act slide, and in the end both of them were eradicated. The centuries that passed between then and now were filled with periods of torture or emptiness. At some point, they allowed him to fulfill some tasks, desk duty stuff. By this point, he had forgotten much of his human life. When he inquired about reincarnation, they presented him with the option of serving as a guardian angel.

History: Mina isn’t quite sure how he got to this point in his existence. He vaguely remembers something cold and wet and then the screaming. And then he wakes up. Sometimes when he dreams, he thinks he can hear the sound of children laughing.

Minnanoe drowned to put it bluntly. More precisely, he drowned himself; shortly after murdering his 6 year old son and his husband. well, ex - husband. Although the doesn’t remember his past, he has vague feelings of anxiety and despair when he sleeps. When he wakes, he peels his eyes back and wills the clodding feeling of hopelessness and bleak emptiness that fogs over him.

  fable was born into a very wealthy family of celestials. she was the second child of her parents and the only daughter of the pair. her household did not only harbor her parents and siblings though. within her large family home, her biological uncle and his wife also had their share of the home. one would think she lived a comfortable, fulfilling life as the daughter of a rich family. from the outside, most would think that her life was perfect and desirable. however, fable's household was far from perfect. It was riddled with lies and bellicose. her parents would bicker over the smallest things, her siblings both had the personalities that of demons, and her uncle and his wife? well, we will get to that here shortly. consequently, at some point, fable began to dislike the life she had been placed into and began to desire a life that had balance within it.
  
  when her powers began to show, it was a joyous moment for her. her parents were both very pleased with it. however, that moment of joy did not last long. not long after, a secret about her true identity surfaced: her uncle was her real father. her mother and who she thought was her biological uncle had a love affair years ago to which she was the result of. this truth shook the household. the person who she had called father for years was furious by this betrayal. he did not only take his anger out on her mother and biological father but also on her too.​

History

Calandra was born into a poor family and did her best to provide for her sick mother. Her father left shortly after Calandra was born. Being just her mother and her, the young girl learned from a very young age to hold compassion for others and to accept what they had, never to take it for granted, and to appreciate life's gifts. Cala would perform small tasks in order to get money or food. Her and her mother didn't have much and lived in a small, musty house that was overall a health hazard. Her mother fell ill, so Calandra took over all chores, went to school, and worked as much as she could. This still wasn't enough to afford medicine that would be life-saving to her mother. When she turned 15, Calandra came home and found her mother's lifeless body on the floor. She had tried to call for help but nobody came. Cal was taken into the foster system and went through many homes until finding a foster family that wished to adopt her. This family was made up of Celestials. At this point, Calandra had no idea she was one too until an altercation with her adoptive brother. She managed to absorb the energy from his attack and essentially concentrated the blow into her hand, causing a small explosion big enough the dishevel the room. After her adoptive parents found out her abilities, they immediately sent her to Praesidium, having been there themselves.

Explosive Energy: Calandra, though very meek and shy, packs an explosive punch literally. She can manipulate and absorb others' energy, turning it into her own. She can concentrate her powers to certain parts of her body to create small to massive explosions. This power, however, takes a large toll on her physical wellness. He assaulted his father and beat him within an inch of his life. Soon after a divorce between his mother and father, Torryn moved in with his mother to keep watch over her. He courted many women and men, trying to essentially find the one but eventually turned into a serial flirt. One night on his way home from a date with a beautiful woman, he was jumped and shanked by a mob of gang members. He was left to die on that cold street. One night, she was out with some friends at a party and she was becoming cross-faded. Someone spiked her drink that night. She began speaking to everyone who had went to the party and started to compile data. After sifting through everything, she figured out who it was; somebody who was supposed to be her best friend. Plotting a plan to get him back and give him a scare he wouldn't forget, she waited one night outside his work. Being heavily influenced by drugs, she decided that grabbing a knife and a scary mask would do the trick. Little did she know, she was about to seal her fate with one fatal accident. When he came out of work, she jumped him. He tried to disarm her and in defense, she stabbed him. After realizing what she'd done, she overdosed the next night and passed away. She won't talk about her past, but will steer others away from drugs and alcohol.

  Personality: Myra Maddison, as she's called, is a kind soul inside, even though she doesn't always show this to the outer world. She's headstrong, stubborn, critical, reckless and very determined. This sometimes results in Myra getting into bad situations, even fights, with other people. She stands for what she believes in, even though others might get offended. This is one of her flaws. Another flaw is Myra being easily annoyed sometimes or ill-tempered, but this is mostly happening whenever someone opposes her logic or reasoning. Furthermore, she's such a stubborn, but clever girl she's owned herself the nickname "Small Fox", referring to her height (she's pretty small) and her personality (cunning, resourceful and quick-witted), and maybe her looks as well, cuz she's got red hair like the red coat a fox has. Getting back to the first thing about Myra, her kind, soft side: she's covered large parts of her hearts to the outside world, due to something which occured early on in her life. (Revealed later). Her soft side consists of being an empath and very sensitive in nature. This collides with her headstrong and quick-witted side: to Mary it feels she's sometimes torn between her abilitie to feel deeply and her ability to analyze situations quickly and independently. A fight between the logical and feeling sides, perhaps. This results in Myra being a complex character. She loves to spend her time in peace, devoting her time to art (painting) and whenever she wants to paint outside she manipulates the weather to her liking, so that's no problem at all.

  Above all, Charles Kemp is practical. He doesn't abide by skirting around getting to the point of things, and will question things that don't make sense. If there is a seemingly impossible knot to be untied, he will simply cut through it. He enjoys the little things, and doesn't concern himself with any grand schemes or big pictures. He will always find the quickest way from point A to point B, and he'll smash through walls if he deems it necessary. Due to this nature, he isn't much for talking, to a point where it tends to be an uncomfortable situation. This has unfortunately led to his social anxiety, along with the factors of self-consciousness and a distaste for sticking out of a crowd, something his physical stature doesn't exactly help with. Otherwise bold and brash, Charlie is someone who gets things done with a warm smile on his face. But do not mistake this for a fool's wisdom. One finds a quick-witted intelligence in Charles to result in a constantly level-headed bulwark of a young man, something tempered by a strong willpower to remain unphased, and forged by an outlook of preparing for the worst, and hoping for the best.

  Perhaps you've heard the stories. King Arthur. Camelot. The Round Table. Supposedly, that blood runs through the veins of Charles Kemp, at least according to his da, and his da's da, and so on. Family legends are always fun, but if they supposedly came from knightly blood, it would have been nice to live in a castle at least. But one might suppose a small farm in the Welsh south-west countryside wasn't so bad. Charles would always be the first to admit, his life wasn't too exciting. The most thrilling things got always came down to him always being mistaken for someone much older than he was since a decently early age. His father, a blacksmith by hobby, passed down his joy for the forge down to him, and between his experiences with smithing, chores to do with the farm, and a love for horsing around by himself out in the wilderness resulted in a burly physique, and coupled with his height, it's no surprise that he'd often be mistaken for a fully grown man since his early teens, though he hated the fact. Camera-shy, with a love for peace and quiet, and inexperienced with people as someone who grew up too far in the countryside to participate in a properly public school, it should be no surprise that socializings were never the most thrilling parts of life, but he was always good at doing things himself anyways. He didn't know too many people, but he was content in this. He thrived more in solitude than he did standing in awkward silence with some stranger. This was not to say, however, he was one to shy away from participation. After all, his Scottish-born mother prided her son a champion of the closest highland games festival in some of his later years, especially as he found himself fond of the sport. If nothing else, Charles loved his parents dearly. So, in all, a quiet life on a peaceful farm with loving parents... can't say there was much excitement in that.

  Built Like a Tank: Slow but sturdy. One will find that it's awfully hard to so much as bruise Charles. Anything less than a .45 cal would be like using a pellet gun on a rubber wall, and flames do nothing except burn his clothes.
  
  Punch like a tank: Far from graceful, and easy enough to avoid if you know how to fight, but a single punch could be all it takes. With the force of a large hydraulic press, it takes on hell of a thick steel wall to take Charles' fist.
  
  Living Furnace: By far his most unique power is Charles' confined pyrokinetic/thermokinetic ability. Capable of exuding enough heat to slowly melt through steel within the boundaries of his personal space, and envelope large parts or the whole of his body in intense but short flames, it is shown that between his abilities, one shouldn't piss Charles' off if they're in arm's reach.
  
  Weaknesses
  Fire consumes oxygen, and strength consumes energy. Charles' abilities take their toll fairly quickly, and the most he can do to offset this is to conserve as much energy as he can in the moment. He was never quick or agile in the first place, and frankly, the needs of his powers only exacerbate these problems. He could never run very far, but at least he could walk slowly for quite a while. No less, with the lack of range concerning his abilities, he's quite easy to simply avoid. Other than his extreme strength and durability [particularly to heat], Charles is very much built like any human being, though particularly susceptible to being overly exhausted.

  Yeong-Cheol was born into a typical nuclear family. He had a mother, father, and a younger sister. They were not the wealthiest, but they made do. Unfortunately, the abuse from his father started early. He was a bad drunk, but more than that, he was just a bad person. The abuse Yeong-cheol faced was also frequently inflicted on his mother and younger sister. The siblings were close as kids, but this changed over time when their father began to force them to perform abusive acts towards each other. Unfortunately for the children, they lived in a conservative area. Everyone knew the kids were being abused, but only whispered with sidelong glances. After one particularly awful incident, the sister ran away. She was brought back, but would time and time again try to leave. As a minor already acting out in school, authorities viewed her as a problem child. Yeong-Cheol chose an opposite escape route, working hard in school to go to a university. Even after leaving, he still faced severe PTSD from his childhood and the things his father had made him do. He buried his head in books, trying to forget his past by replacing it with new stories and knowledge. Over time, he began to lose his mind, unable to seek help for his mental health due to the stigmas and shame surrounding it. At the age of 22, he came back into contact with his younger sister, who had gone down a much less scholarly path. He attempted to help her for a short period, but addiction and mental illness also gripped her tightly. The fighting became worse, he grew more depressed, and then one day during an argument with his very intoxicated sister, he snapped. She blamed him for ruining her life, for destroying her, and he agreed. In a manic state, seeing no light or way out, he took his sister's life and then his own. After a traumatic death, his soul wandered for a quite a bit, aimless and almost animalistic in nature. Many exorcisms were performed and failed until one medium was successful and forced him to move on. Even in his half-aware state, he was certain he'd go to hell, but was given a different option instead. His time as a lost spirit and the rituals performed on him caused a few changes, but mainly within his memory. He knows what he did, but only on paper. He can barely recall his sister's face, or most of the horrors that happened to them both. This was actually seen as a mercy, for as a guardian angel he could be a bit closer to who he really was beneath the monster his father made.

  He was born in the early 1800s, his family wasn't the wealthiest and him and his brother would go out to try to make some more money. They found the easiest way was to steal from those who lived a wealthier life. Obviously, it was dangerous work, but the brothers worked well together and were both easily able to sneak past guards or cause a distraction without getting caught. It wasn't until Kai convinced his brother to steal from one of the richest families in town that things went south. The two were known as the Quiet Devils, as his brother jokingly left a drawing of devil horns once to freak a family out. They didn't know what the family had prepared for them to arrive, and when they were in the middle of strealing jewelry and coins, their guards rushed in and started fighting the two boys. They had almost been able to escape, but his brother had been shot in the leg by an arrow. He pleaded for his brother to help him, but in panic, Kai chose to grab his bag of findings instead of help his brother. He left his brother for the guards to find, who would also soon be put to death. He rushed home and lied to his parents, saying that his brother risked his life for him. Sadly, they had sent someone after Kai without his knowing, so within days, his family's home was attacked. He came home to find his house on fire. He could hear that his parents were still inside, but he figured it was pointless to try and help and ran into the woods. He could hear the sounds of men chasing him as he ran. He looked back as he thought he was getting farther away, but he tripped on some bush and fell into a large ditch. The last thing he remembers is pain in his head.
  
  As a guardian angel, he really doesn't remember much of his life before. Sometimes, he'll have nightmares, but all he'll remember is regret and guilt, but he never knows what for.

It came easier to him because he's always been good at slight of hand. Within the dark and cold of his makeshift tomb, as the smoke from above filled his unseeing eyes and lungs with a painful burning, the lord of men finally saw... light. History: Latoya grew up in the suburbs of Southern California to a Mother that was a relatively famous ballet dancer and a father who was a famous pianist. They lived in a relatively large nice house with a live in nanny that Lattie can’t remember ever not being apart of her life. Both parents expected her to have an aptitude in dance and music. Her mother was sure of it as he daughter continued to shoot up and reach the tall height of 5’11 at an early age. Unfortunately Lattie was more of a baby dear stumbling and fumbling around when it came to the graceful motions of ballet. How utterly... disappointing . And alas the skills of piano or even cello did not call for her either and her parents were left with the deep sentiment of “where did we go wrong?” this was of course around the time where her father chooses to screw the nanny and also try for more children with her mother. The results were a distant family, filled with chilled glares and soft spoken words and two spoiled little siblings. Lattie did the only thing she could do; she retreated into her mind. As she grew older and took the brunt of bullying “pock-Face! No-brain! Air-head! Giraffe! ““ she retreated even further into her mind, her daydreams began to become...increasingly more vivid. And not just to her. “was that a bird with six wings?!””no way! Are you sure?! “ “yeah it’s right- oh ...it’s gone??”
until one day at home, whilst her parents screamed and raved at each other behind closed doors, Lattie just drifted off, a normal occurrence, but that day was anything but normal. Screams of terror and astonishment went unnoticed to the freckle faced girl as she paced rapidly in her room, headphones turned all the way up and lost to the world a million miles away: her parents were checked into a psych ward that very night.
Powers: Daydreamer/Dreams:: Can create vivid illusions whilst daydreaming and dream walk into other people dreams when they sleep. The more heightened someone’s emotions are the easier it is to create a vivid illusion/daydream for them.   Artistic: Willow always has one of her many sketchebooks with her at all times. She'll happily draw something for you or even do a simple design. She'll often loose focus, which goes along with her absentmindedness, and just draw for hours.
  Calm: She's reletively calm, having spent a few months in different stressful situations, she's able to stay calm through a lot. She does have her outspirts of anger, but she does her best to control them.

  Born in the early 1970s, Willow's parents had always taken really good care of her. They did their best to raise her; she was polite, helpful, and pretty smart. When she was around 5, her mother decided that she didn't want a family, well, she didn't want that family. They never understood why, especially since Willow was so young, but she always knew how much it hurt her father. As she grew up, her father was always there. Bullies at school? He taught her how to fight back-as long as it was they did something first. He worked often, and many times she'd walk to his work so that he could continue to make money. He would get her different things to do while he worked, which is how she found her love for art. His boss had given him a coloring book and some crayons, stating that all kids love crayons. And she ended up filling that book really quickly, and started to take paper out of the printer instead. The older she got, the more her room filled with different art, and the better she got. She'd often draw something on everyone's office windows, as she'd grown closer to a lot of her dads colleagues. It got to the point where she even updated the company design, something her father had always been incredibly proud of her for. It worked that they both spent a lot of time at his work, as it was less money they'd have to spend on their small apartment. They never knew where her mother ended up going, and frankly, Willow could care less. She resented her mother for causing her father so much pain. He didn't show it often, but she knew it was there. As she grew older, she'd often walk around the city instead of staying at her fathers work, it gave her inspiration. Of course, her father made sure she'd be able to properly defend hereslf if she were to ever get ingo some trouble-which didn't happen. One weekend, one of the few days her father didn't work at all, they had done nothing but lounge around all day. They had been enjoying the night together when they heard the sound of screams and a gunshot go off in their small apartment building. Her father had quickly pushed Willow to hide in her room. She tried to have her father hide with her, but he kept saying that he needed to call the cops if they hadn't been called already. With the promise that he'd hide soon, she hid behind her many desks and stands filled with so many things, you'd barely be able to see her unless you looked closely. She could faintly hear the sound of her father talking on the phone and the sound of banging on their door and quickly tried to weave her way through everything without making too much noise. She heard another gunshot and her father scream before she bolted from her room, not caring about noise anymore. She was barely able to see a man running out of the house and her father lying on the floor. She doesn't remember continuing talking to the cops, or even interacting with them when they finally arrived. All she remembers is being able to say she loves her father before he passed and moving in with her mother. She had a new family then, which only made her more resentful and added to the cold and bitterness she now felt. She worked with the cops as much as she was able to, but after a month, they hadn't really done or gotten anything other than a drawing one of her old neighbors had done to describe and help find the man. While no one was looking, she'd stolen the drawing and used it to find this man herself. She found out he was a part of some small gang from the 'help' of some others she'd been able to find and that they had been at their apartment building because her neighbors owed him money-by help, she just beat them up until they told her anything that'd help. After a few weeks avoiding the cops that were looking for her, she finally found their 'hideout'. Again, she didn't remember killing the few people there, but she remembers aiming the gun at the man and shooting him exactly where he shot her father. And she remembers being shot at by the people before she killed them and treated by doctors, but it had been no use, since they had-once again-arrived too late, and she also died on scene.

  Yuli is a sweet creature. She enjoys her role as a guardian angel, wishing to provide any and all around her comfort. She is rarely willing to question another person or their emotions, believing all feelings are valid. However, she is not a completely selfless being. She has moments where she's wary of those around her. There is always an uncomfortable pit of anxiety that fills her, lingering most often whenever she's around an angel who is her senior. As for how she acts around celestials—she's not quite sure what to do with herself.   Yuli can remember a woman from her past life. She doesn't know who she is or how they were connected; but, she can remember her eyes. Dark brown orbs that regarded her with so much warmth and fondness that it often reduces her to tears. She wishes she could pinpoint how this woman connects to why she's serving as a guardian angel. Wishing that perhaps she could one day close her eyes and all her memories would come flooding back in. It would give her some sort of explanation, at least.
  
  Presently, Yuli is just doing her best to right her wrongs. She's not the same person that she once was. When she was first created, she had felt bitterness so acute that it tended to cloud her judgement. What was the point, she would think, is she was forced to spend eternity righting wrongs that she didn't remember committing. But, with time, she calmed. She accepted her fate. Knowing that in the future, she would look back on her anger sadly. It made her blind to the beauty of the world—to the harmonious nature of humans and animals and the earth itself.

organized. athena knows where everything in her life is, at all times and that doesn't just apply to her objects. everything she does is meticulously planned out to ensure it's sucess.
awkward. well, athena wasn't the goddess of charisma for a reason. the girl named after a goddess knows quite a bit, but not about people. she tends to stumble over her words or get herself into situations where she is embarrassed easily. this includes, but is not limited to, accidentally saying something offensive, flirty, or tripping and falling onto someone's lap. i totally was not talking from personal experience with the last one.
intelligent. thea has spent most of her time alone and has a curious nature, so it's obvious that her best friend during her childhood was her books. she would spend hours reading and this habit has continued into her adulthood. if you ask her a question about a subject she will probably know, or spend hours researching so she can give you a detailed response.
stuck up. having the little real world experience that she does, thea really has no understanding of people or empathy. she tries her best, but she is a stickler for the rules and never has rebelled in her life. therefore, often she appears to be rather narrowminded or stuck up.
perceptive. though this doesn't occur with people, athena has read enough detective books to be able to read a room easily. that is, the actual room. she has a knack for finding weird facts or "clues" during the oddest of times
morbid. partially due to her past and partially due to her inexperience, athena often has trouble figuring out why people get sad. many things considered to be taboo topics to others are typical to her, which just adds to her awkwardness.

history

athena never had your typical childhood. at the age of three, she was diagnosed with a disease that left her immune system severely weakened. thanks to upper class parents and the best technology money can buy, she was able to stay in her own home, instead of living in a hospital. however, she was forced to stay inside for her entire childhood. anyone who wanted to come visit had to be doused in chemicals, which made it difficult for her to make friends.

however, when she turned sixteen, athena's powers finally appeared and she was healed. this is why, despite her knack for dealing with disease, she is not fully immune. her power is doing the best it can to combat her illness. however, if she were to ever lose it, she would get severely sick and die within days.

History: Bee had an easy going life. Just him and his dad and his two siblings. He was the captain of the football team in Highschool, won several medals for track, cross country, swim, moi tai , cheer and theatre. Overall he was a peppy, and bright young man. being the oldest he often feels like it’s his responsibility to take care of his younger siblings; especially with how busy his dad is. Make no mistake his father loves them, he’s just often swamped with work. this of course has never stopped him from being there to cheer Bee on at every single one of his games. when he was 18, just before he graduate, his sister was killed in a school shootin. his biggest regret is not being fast enough to tackle the shooter before he shot her. He has been going to therapy regularly to deal With his PTSD and survivors guilt. he is recovering and has since learned to put a genuine smile on his face since then.

  The HauntingElora has the power to personify her emotions into the equivalent of a familiar, although without its own physical form. It can then "haunt" any inanimate object, which she would then be able to control until the emotion within her has worn off; once Elora's feelings become too weak, it leaves the object and dematerializes. Before an emotion haunts an object, it is not visible to any one else except for Elora--and, even then, it takes the form of a fog.
  
  The stronger she feels before it is materialized, the bigger the object it can haunt, but the harder it is to control--the object could get out of hand and take initiatives without her orders out of passion. It should also be noted that if Elora's inner emotion gets stronger after its counterpart has already been personified, the haunting will not be affected in any way aside from possibly lasting longer.
  
  There is also a mental connection between Elora and the objects she controls, where she doesn't need to verbalize her commands for it to be received. In an event where the object destroyed instead of running its course, the haunting is interrupted, and it's quite literally a part of Elora dying.   Elora had a plain upbringing with a nuclear family; both of her parents, her older sister, and both of the family's dogs were raised together in a the same suburban house, with the same neighbors, in the same city all throughout their lives. Extended family lived no too far away, and they all had good relationships as well. Her bloodline has no trace of magic or anything of the sort, but her life was always lively and fun nonetheless.
  
  Despite the painfully quaint background, though, Elora showed extraordinary capabilities from an early age. She was intelligent and excelled in academics, a fast learner that was a nearly considered a prodigy at the piano, and beauty that would turn even the most sturdy of heads. Her parents wanted to make sure her talents flourished, and began investing in her education at a young age--private schools are all she has memories of attending.
  
  Her childhood was still filled with normalcy nonetheless, or, at least to the best her parents could offer. After all, they wanted her to excel, but they wanted her have a happy childhood, as well. In fact, while she took an abundancy of extracurriculars and classes outside of school, Elora was the one to choose all of them. Her parents never had her take one on based on their own decision, and really she was the one to lead in her chaotic expeditions of choices until she slowly began to get narrowed decisions with age.

  • Elora will not hesitate to manipulate others. Then, she watches things unfold from a distance, allowing them act on their own accord. She's never been found out, as people usually get the wrong idea of her and would hardly ever suspect "sweet" and "innocent" as her. • Elora is bright, energetic, and friendly. She has an abundance of motivation and energy for her interests and a contagiously excitable attitude, always finding joy in the smallest of things.

• Elora's intelligence, so far, has been unmatched in her life. She has a great memory, is a fast learner, and is extremely perceptive. Consequentially, she's very resourceful and is skilled at always managing to figure out a solution, no matter how restrictive the situation; this is especially enabled by her realist nature, always tending to look at things objectively.

• Her natural beauty is honestly half of her charisma. She's wonderful with people and skilled navigating any sort of conversation and identifying mannerisms, but even without her social skills she would still probably be liked just from her looks alone. • Elora will not hesitate to manipulate others. It's usually very subtle; rather than things like blunt lying and dramatic gaslighting, she chooses to give people a subconscious nudge in a certain direction through calmer means--usually through seemingly casual conversation others aren't aware that she's steering. Then, she watches things unfold from a distance, allowing them act on their own accord. She's never been found out, as people usually get the wrong idea of her and would hardly ever suspect "sweet" and "innocent" as her. However, it should also be noted that Elora isn't typically manipulative for her sake, but for a situation. It's just her idea of an easy solution to amend any sort of issue, no matter how relevant she is.

- Judgmental

• Despite her forgiving and friendly nature, Elora is pretty judgmental of others and forms opinions very early on. She uses her intelligence as justification, believing herself to be more than skilled enough at people to decipher them--and also believing it rare for her to be wrong in general.

• Although it's rare for her to lose her temper, when she does, her reaction and treatment of others can be utterly cruel. Even without her being particularly angry, though, some heartless nature can escape in her manipulation tactics. She's not particularly vengeful, but definitely can be for the sake of those she loves.

• Her passions may have narrowed as she got older, but her fickle nature and tendency to get interested in virtually anything never wore off. She changes her mind quite often, and can sometimes lose interested in relationships suddenly and without warning. • It's not as though her family was rich, but they definitely had quite the bit of money. Besides growing up spoiled, though, Elora just naturally developed expensive taste. It's like some super power--she just chooses things that end up being costly, even without seeing prices. Luckily, she has (or, had--thanks Praesidium) a well paying job enough to pay for her own things, on top of the allowance she receives from her parents. There's also their untouched college fund, but she has turned that into savings for her future business and is continuing to build it on her own.

• Elora may be a compassionate person, but her uncommunicative nature often results people she has relationships (both platonic and romantic) with to be neglected. She cares for them in her own right, but offering moral support, talking to them when she can, and always doing what she can for them, but without voicing her own feelings it can sometimes feel as though she isn't as invested. Elora is self aware enough to have recognized this in relationships and does her best to combat it, but prioritizes her work over loved ones feeling loved in the long run.

  An apathetic Devil's Advocate, it's not hard to hate someone like Jakob Grendel. Quick witted, hedonistic, and rather pessimistic, Jakob operates under the philosphy of taking what he can before it all burns down. He takes a particular delight in the exchanging of witty insults, and is perfectly comfortable being seen as a villain. He despises inconviences, and tends to solve socially-derived problems in ugly yet effective ways, despite degrading himself in the process or being seen in a particularly negative view. One will often find him only ever in one of two moods: Irritated or amused. There never seems to be anything else. In his honesty, he will often put emphasis on anything that could be seen as insults. He will spin words in any way to make them sound like an insult, even when he's actually saying something entirely different than how it sounds. Jakob will likewise be perfectly willing to do most things asked of him, but always treat it like a huge inconvenience and complain in the process, though his complaints are always devoid of actually being meant. He absolutely hates being seen as a decent person, and regards such a position as something that brings on too much responsibiliry and expectations. He's exactly the type of person who would have spectacular grades if he wanted to do the work.

  There's always something bad going to happen. Poverty. Violence. Disaster. Some people just want to survive. Jack is one of those people. He'll always do what it takes to survive. Growing up dirt poor in a big, crowded, trash-littered city was always a fight for survival. Can't even count on your mother after a point. Can't form much of an opinion about a dad you never knew, though. When you get desperate enough, you go down one of two road: Begging, or taking. And sometimes, you have the bad luck of living in a place where the first option gets you nowhere. And when that's your option, you better get good at running. Running away from the man whose wallet you just stole. Running away from the cop whose going to give up in a minute because you just aren't worth the time. Running away from home after an argument with mom who does nothing to help make things better. Running away from other people like yourself. Like Jack. From an early age, the only thing that offered Jack some rest from thinking about the ugly world were the fireworks that people used on more than just some dumb, regular holidays. It was beautiful. There was beauty in fire from afar. Comforting warmth from up close. God knows how many times he'd stay close to a burn barrel when he didn't want to sleep inside that run-down, awful apartment that could barely be afforded. At least public school was free. Most of Jack's diet came from the school's cafeteria. He'd always steal food from other students, at least the one's who certainly didn't need it. But he was a nuisance at most. Eventually, his mom just up and left. He never asked where she was going. He didn't care she never came back. He was always alone in the first place. He didn't know why the landlord never came around, though. He always supposed he was lucky. He'd been lucky in his unluck so far. He always got away with things. His only punishment was his god-awful life that he started out with in the first place.

  Deepest Breaths: Jakob possesses a supernatural lung intake, capable of holding his breath for hours on end, but more notably capable of taking incredulously long inhales and exhales.
  
  Hardworking Lungs: Gases and smoke have extremely little to absolutely no effect on him. As long as there's a even miniscule amount of oxygen in the air, he can breathe normally.
  
  Smoke from Hell
  The spotlight of Jack's abilities. He exhales out a strange, dark mist-like smoke that covers more area the more that's exhaled. He does not require his cigarrettes for this, as it is naturally produced, though he can consciously 'turn it off and on' though their use. This smoke can have one of several properties that vary depending on method of exhaling. For example, blowing hard to exhale results in a rather corrosive gas capable of slowly melthing through soft metals. On the other end of the spectrum, a very slow and very soft exhale result in a smoke the causes drowsiness, dizziness, disorientation, and sometimes mild hallucinations. Here's a list of known smoke intensities and what they do [aka what I could think up]:
  Blowing - Corrosive properties, capable of slowly deteriorating through soft metals, mosy effective against copper, aluminum, and gold. However, this smoke, unlike the rest, is very much capable of affecting Jakob due to its properties being through mere physical contact as opposed to having to breathe it to do anything. It also requires A LOT of breath power, so Jack can't do it for very long. Extremely limited range [approximately a couple feet] and spread [honestly just blow on your hand, it's the same]. Best to step back from it when it happens.
  Sharp exhale [open lips] - Knockout gas capable of putting most normal people to sleep almost immediately. Can fill a room, but not much more than that.
  Sharp exhale [pursed lips] - More or less outright tear gas. Can fill a room, but not much more than that.
  Deliberate but otherwise normal exhale - Just normal smoke, but that can still be dangerous when there's enough of it. Capable of filling a large apartment building.
  Calm breath [open lips] - This smoke is capable of muffling noises, cleaning out smells, and blocking out light. Jakob's go-to for being particularly sneaky. Capable of filling an entire city block.
  Calm Breath [pursed lips] - Hallucinogenic smoke, doesn't take long at all for people to start tripping out on it. Capable of filling an entire city block.
  Slow exhale - Smoke that causes drowsiness, dizziness, disorientation, and sometimes mild hallucinations, though takes its time. Capable of filling an entire neighborhood.
  
  Weaknesses
  With the exception of corrosive blowing, which is dangerous even to Jack himself, basically all you need to fully negate Jack's smoke is a gas mask. And even then, certain, hardier constitutions will be more resistant to his smoke, especially among the slower breaths. Other than this, Jack is a normal human being, and, in fact less physically hardy than many others. Reliant on his cigarettes as a mental catalyst to be able to turn his powers off and on, otherwise he can't cantrol when his smoke comes out. The only time it's assured to not come out is when he's asleep or otherwise unsconscious.

  Myra, as she's called, is a kind soul inside, even though she doesn't always show this to the outer world. She's headstrong, stubborn, critical, reckless and very determined. This sometimes results in Myra getting into bad situations, even fights, with other people. She stands for what she believes in, even though others might get offended. This is one of her flaws. Another flaw is Myra being easily annoyed sometimes or ill-tempered, but this is mostly happening whenever someone opposes her logic or reasoning or acts mean to her/someone close to her. Furthermore, she's such a stubborn, but clever girl she's owned herself the nickname "Small Fox", referring to her height (she's pretty small) and her personality (cunning, resourceful and quick-witted), and maybe her looks as well, because she's got red hair like the red coat of a fox. Getting back to the first thing about Myra, her kind, soft side: she's covered large parts of her hearts to the outside world, due to something which occured early on in her life, which affected her ability to form new relationships greatly. She also has trouble opening up to new people; it's like some wall exists between her and the outside world, even though she would want this wall to tumble down. Her soft side consists of being an empath and very sensitive in nature. She's quite introverted and needs to build trust in a slow pace. Her soft, peaceful part of her personality collides with her headstrong and quick-witted nature: to Myra it feels she's sometimes torn between her ability to feel deeply and her ability to analyze situations quickly and independently. A fight between the logical and feeling sides, perhaps. This results in Myra being a complex character. Even more, she has probably some kind of PTSD due to losing her sister at the age of 15 (See backstory). Her trauma might come up from time to time whenever she's being reminded of that event in some way.
  
  She loves to spend her time in peace, devoting her time to art (painting) and whenever she wants to paint outside she manipulates the weather to her liking, so that's no problem at all. Busying herself with creative endeavours is a means to find peace and quiet her mind. It's a form of meditation for her after all.
  
  Virtues: Creative, empathetic, independent thinker. Myra has a lot of willpower and never gives up. She truly cares about people from her inner circle and is fiercely loyal to them.
  Vices: Headstrong, stubborn, reckless, doesn't know her own limits very well, never asks for any assistance, ignores her own limits/pain, bottles up emotions like crazy, sometimes ill-tempered/easily annoyed due to having no outlet/being pressured.
  
  Likes: Creative pursuits, like painting. Being alone reading a book, next to a cup of tea and a fire. She's able to make fire due to her abilities to manipulate temperature, so she sometimes uses her temperature ability for this, because she's really not well suited for cold temperatures and climates.
  Dislikes: People trying to defy/control her. She gets even more stubborn in that case.
  
  Fears: She's fearful for lightning, which is a fun fact considering she's able to cause hurricanes, tornadoes or storms. But she's got a personal reason to be fearful of lightning, besides the fact she's not (yet) able to control this, which annoys her to a great extent.   Backstory:
  
  

  Myra grew up with her little sister Elena, who meant to her, actually wás Myra's world for 15 years. They grew close after their parent's dissapearance. The cause of their dissapearance remains unclear to this day. Afterwards, Myra, 15 years old, cared for Elena (9 years) for the first couple of months, pushing every ounce of sadness and despair to the side. She didn't have a choice, knowing Elena depended on her to manage things and run the household. All the time Myra took care of her sister, she got more and more depressed, and felt more powerless than ever before. Due to unprocessed trauma, her bottled up feelings finally exploded in one angry fit. Before Myra could do anything, dark clouds gathered above her and her sisters head. Rain started pouring, tainting the soil and one flash of lightning took away everything Myra loved. Seeing her sister struck by lightning, not being able to prevent the horrific event or save her, Myra's world collapsed.
  
  Flash forward 24 years. Myra's picked up most of the pieces. She had no other choice; leave this world, by her own hand, or create a new one. She chose the latter, determined to better herself, so she would never, ever repeat her grave sin again.
  That's why she went to Praesidium Academia in the first place.
  Her mission is to become the most proficient wielder of her Celestial powers, which got nothing to do actually with some wish to compete with the other Celestials: she is not at all conceited or arrogant, she's very concerned about the posibility of her powers manifesting in horrible ways, and she has a very good reason for that. Elena will never return. So Myra has to make sure Elena's death won't be in vain.
  That's Myra's attitude at the boarding school: work as much as possible, learn everything there's to learn and keep on going,

  Confirmed Friendship: Evie and Myra could definitely develop a strong friendship; I think Myra feels really safe and herself when she's with Evie, and she really loves the attention to detail Evie has, whenever she attends to plants, flowers or other forms of nature. Evie's calm attitude could slow Myra a bit down as well, which is quite healthy I guess? Cuz Myra usually never slows down, wanting to keep on practising, even going that far she might pass out. So, I guess Myra sees Evie as her closest/close friend, if they would develop that, and she's touched by Evie's charm (she's quite honest and pure, so to speak) so she might feel Evie resembles some kind of surrogate-little sister, and Myra might be really protective if anything happens to her. And she will definitely help Evie if she needs rain or sunlight to grow plants. Important note: Myra and Evie's close bond means much to Myra. It's no coincidence she is protective of Evie. Evie is younger, sweet and could literally be compared to Elena in many ways. In case something happens to Evie, Myra could act like some lioness, enacting her traumatic past, in which she never had been able to prevent her sister's death.   Possible Friendhip: Just as Myra, Chris is a rebel. Which is something Myra would instantly like about the guy. She's rooting for the independent mind, so Chris and Myra would probably get along. They could however share negative copings styles (alcholism perhaps) so this is one thing to keep in mind; their friendship could develop in a good way, or they might both go downhill and drag one another down.   Possible Friendhip: Benny and Myra have - unfortunately - a traumatic past (losing their sister) in common. They've both PTSD btw, so they wouldn't feel misunderstood whenever they interact or need to talk to one another. I think what could make their friendship work, is Benny's soft kind side and friendly nature, which helps Myra opening herself up to him and trusting him. It's funny, I think, that Benny needs sunlight, which is one of Myra's powers to increase or decrease, whilst Benny is able to heal people, which Myra unfortunately can't do herself (and yeah, she get's injured a lot due to her reckless behaviors). So I think these two might need one another, speaking of powers, and I think they could really team up in the Academy, helping one another and sharing good times, because Benny is a very optimistic/positive person, so he would definitely lighten things up for Myra as well. She's more introverted, whilst Baz is, I guess, more of a misanthropic dude. They could actually get along, if Baz would open up and if Myra would be able to trust him and build trust.   Basic info: Rayne has a dark past, which is the first and foremost reason he has returned to earth to pay for his sins, being a Guardian of some annoying brat at the Praesidium Academy. Ugh, he's really not looking forward to all that shit. Rayne is a very practical guy and he only wants to help a Celestial who's able to follow simple guidelines. Someone with discipline and a strong character. He's more of "I mind my own business, you mind yours" and "I will take care of my tasks, you do yours." This doesn't mean at all he isn't helpful, caring or loyal, because he actually is!
  
  Virtues: Observant, calm, collected, he's a good teacher and a great communicator.
  Vices: Rayne has a tendency to become kinda harsh to anyone (his Celestial included) who doesn't listen to him and doesn't communicate well. He's scammed people in the past and is able to deceive, manipulate and distract people very well.
  
  Likes: He loves his bow and arrow, which he sometimes picks up for fun. He's able to shoot great distances.
  Dislikes: Getting up early, Celestial who's being a damsel in distress, being fooled/not taken seriously by said Celestial. Being not in control of the situation/lied to/suprised.

Basically Rayne is kinda dominating/a control freak, so that's the answer.   Backstory:
  
  Rayne has made bad choices in his human years: one of those had been him scamming people. He became pretty rich as a consequence, but he didn't become more happy or carefree. At this point he has to pay for his sins by being a Guardian of a Celestial. This is something he feels uncomfortable with, but he surrenders to his fate; he knows he has no other choice this time. It's his punishment after all, God never forgives till someone atones. The scamming went on for years, so it's safe to say Rayne's deceitful and manipulative nature is ingrained into the very person he is. At some point the authorities questioned his source of income, arrested him and let him go after he'd manipulated them and court. Thinking he could get out of his mess that easily, he was taken by suprise when upon dying his soul couldn't reach Heaven due to his grave misjudgment and mistakes. That's how Rayne became a Guardian actually. Out of necessity. So he's not going to be the nicest and kindest guardian of the bunch. Even though he has changed his actions (not scamming anymore, meditating instead haha) he's still a dark person at heart who pulls the strings.
