Celestials of Earth, welcome to Praesidium Academia! Your attendance has been requested at this ancient establishment because you hold within you the energy forged in the fires of creation. You're what is modernly referred to as a celestial. As such, you have a duty to the universe, and to your world, to uphold the balance and keep the world from shattering into chaos. Each celestial's duties manifest as unique gifts, which is why our three thousand year old curriculum is constantly changing and adapting to suit the needs of each student. We hope that your time here will prepare you for the greatest job there is. Please work hard, as our future rests on your shoulders.

OOC RULES
☆Try to keep genders even
☆Posts should be at least one of two paragraphs per character
☆Run all major plots by one of the gms first
☆You can have a tragic backstory, but don't make it your entire character
☆You can use realistic or drawn faceclaims, but don't use any super popular anime characters or overused ones.
☆Characters will be highschool to college age, save for the angels.
☆Discord will be used for OOC, and is required.
IC RULES
★ Guardian angels must stick with their assigned celestial at all times
★ Guardian angels may not fraternize with any celestials but that which they were assigned
★ No romance between guardian angels or the angels and their deorum
★ All celestials must attend class on a daily basis unless ill or injured
★ Celestials must not go off school grounds after 7PM or before 9AM
★ All celestials are expected to be in bed at 11pm.
★ No celestials may have liquor, cigarettes or other similar substances on them or in their dorm.
★ Celestials and angels are expected to show respect to one another and also the staff.
★ Punishments may include grounding, chores, suspension, or detention.
The story takes place at Praesidium Academia, a boarding school for teens and young adults that have displayed godlike abilities. These deity adjacent beings have a fraction of power that has been divvied up amongst hundreds of souls across each world. They exist in every generation to uphold the balance of the universe. These forces include, but are not limited to: life, space, and time. The fraction each celestial holds is vital to the survival of the universe, but spread thin enough that if one chooses to abandon their sacred duties or go against their oaths, they can safely be eliminated without upsetting the balance for too long. At least until that power finds a suitable host. Given that they are so gravely necessary for life to continue, heavenly protectors are assigned upon first revelation of power. These protectors are known as guardian angels, and are invisible on 3rd and 4th dimensions. However, being that the academia grounds are within a higher dimension, celestials will be able to meet and interact with their guardians. Guardian angels will serve a life sentence with their celestial. Essentially, they are spirits that were unable to reincarnate due to a conflict or erroneous decision in their past life. They are given a chance to right their wrongs through service to the cosmos. The reasons for such a penalty varies greatly. Some have memories of past lives, others do not. Whatever the case may be, each angel has one goal, and that is to protect the physical, mental, and moral state of their celestial. Should something go wrong before the death of their ward, they shall have failed to complete promised services and be met with severe consequences.
Players may play as guardian angels (ages vary, but typically they are youthful) and student celestials (high school to college age).
