Asuna Yuki... Kazuto Kirigaya... These two were seen as the "heroes" who saved the lives of those lucky enough to survive Sword Art Online. They were known for manning the front lines, being the best fighters in the game, and succesfully beating the game... But they werent the only ones on the front line.
All of us were on the front lines. Anyone in this game was on the front lines. We all had to live in this hellish nightmare. We all had a part to play...
But I don't blame them... They didn't ask to be the heroes. They didn't do what they did for fame or fortune. They were good people... I owe my life to them.
I met Asuna one day. She was beautiful. She was smart. And she was sincere. Everyone usually talks about Asuna after she joined the Knights Of The Blood Oath, Aincrad's strongest guild... But I knew Asuna before then. That day, Asuna gave me something that I'd never forget. She gave me something far more important than a sword... Far more important than a shield. Asana gave me something that would save my life multiple times. She gave me something that led me to my party... She gave me... I digress.
You know... We were all on the front lines. For Two years, but we found a way to endure it. Through each other we found the strength to Keep... Moving... Forward. And I can't say that we all made it in the end... but what I can say is that we endured the front lines, and we led each other freedom. We were each other's guardian angels in purgatory. Just like Asuna was. Just like my party was for me.
I can't say I made it by the time anyone hearss this... IF they hear it... But I want you to know that I... That WE...
Asuna... Gave Me Hope.
