Sweet Nothings

-

I watched the way you move every time you step in front of me, the milky curves of your skin against the prickling silken fabric. We grew up together. We spent our entire days playing on the street corner together, giggling about other girls or poking bugs with our fingers. I never got myself to even think that the person I should giggling about was you, all along. Now this feeling.. this feeling welling up in my insides is something that I have never experienced before. I need you. You are the piece I am missing in my life and now.. they can't know. No one can know. Whisper sweet nothings into my ear as we begin a journey that we can't turn back from. You are all I need and that's all that matters.

Name: William Terrence Moore

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Homosexual

Personality: If you’re a lady in need of a shoulder to cry on, or a warm hand to hold while you’re prancing through a field of posies, then you don’t need to look any further. You’ll never have to worry about having a sweaty man-creature pawing all over you to get your panties off; because that’s not is style. William's actions derive from that beating organ behind his rib cage. He's actually interested in what you’re saying - no, seriously. He is. Your thoughts, your feelings, your opinions, these are all important to him. If you’re dying to tell him all about your windpipe crushing, all encompassing, unyielding devotion to Twilight’s Taylor Lautner, then you’ll no doubt be facing an ecstatic young man whose uncanny mannerisms mirror a saucer-eyed child’s natural fascination for the world’s most mysterious emotional wonders. You are, to him, the perfect manifestation of good morals and beauty. Honestly, there’s nothing beyond pushing a knife between his, or someone else' ribs that’ll tarnish your reputation in his eyes - be you a slobbering demon or someone whose done something terrible because everyone deserves a second chance and he’s willing to spill his trust into your hands a million times over.

Benjamin "Bennie" Hunt

Age:

16

Sexuality:

homosexual

History:

Bennie's mother wanted to change his father, and was on the path to doing it. He was a drug dealer and she was a recovered addict, she was always helping him become a better person, but she didn't live to see her son. She died giving birth, and Bennie's father never recovered. He blamed his son for the whole ordeal and hated him for it. The beatings started before he could remember, but they continued until social services took him away from his father when he was seven. After being taken from his father, Bennie was bounced from one abusive or just neglectful foster home to the next. He never did great in any of them, but he survived. He finally arrived at the Moore home and he still struggles with issues from his past, but life is easier.

Personality:

When he doesn't know someone, Bennie is very shy and timid. Once you get to know him he is fun and loving. He tries to be honest with everyone and sometimes he doesn't always get it right. Because of his past, he is easily scared and he has terrible nightmares. When he messes things up he becomes very guilty and fearful. He loves pretty much everyone and cannot even bring himself to hate terrible people.

A soft mound of blankets in the center of the bedroom began to stir as the light from the curtains soon swept through. It was warm.. sunlight immediately pouring on the freckled skin that managed to poke out from a few ravines in the cloth. Beneath the sea of blankets laid William, deep in slumber that early Saturday morning. It was summer break and his last year of school would only be months away. But, he didn't want to think. It was summer after all and most problems just needed to be pushed away to enjoy the time.

Rolling over, the young man managed to slip out of bed and land head-first into the ground beside him. A loud thud filled the air, almost rattling the whole house as he groaned with pain and desperation. "Sh-t." He groaned, pulling himself to sit up. Not only was that a great way to wake up, it seemed like it was the only way he could wake up. A heavy sleeper, was a heavy sleeper after all and William was one of them.

Getting on his two feet, he used to table beside the bed to get regain his balance as the zombie rose from the dead. A few snaps and cracks in his firm legs and arms, he felt normal again. Not even bothering with a shirt, he still had his sleeping-pants on when hobbling downstairs for a bite. Each step seemed like a century for him, more sunlight coming in to blind him some more as he stepped into the kitchen. "Hm." He grumbled, rubbing the ridiculous head of hair he had, while reading a sticky note on the fridge.

"Gone off to work, be back later."

- Mom & Dad

"It seems like they're never home anymore." William sighed under his breath, really not complaining but.. concerned in another way. They did have business jobs though.. and when a meeting was set, a meeting was set. Grabbing a hold of the handle on the fridge, he peeked inside only to find it semi-empty. Milk, orange juice, cheese and other stuff that wasn't even needed. Typical. No luck, he turned to the loaf of bread and toaster. "Simple breakfast this morning, I guess." He muttered, popping a few of the bad boys into the appliance and leaning against the counter for a nice wait.

Bennie

An inaudible noise was made from Bennie as he woke, soaked in sweat and shivering. Looking at the clock, he saw it was only five am. He sighed and pushed the sheets back quickly before he went to the shower to rinse off. He let the warm water fall on him as he took the shower, trying not to think of the nightmare he had just woken up from. I'm at the Moore house... It's okay... everything-"Crap." he whispered it under his breath as he dropped the shampoo bottle and it bounced out of the shower and across the room. Scampering across the room to retrieve the bottle, Bennie tried not to be so loud as to wake up William. He kind of chuckled to himself at that thought, William was one of the heaviest sleepers he knew.

After finishing his shower, Bennie put on some skinny jeans and sat in his room, drawing for a few hours. He managed to get a good drawing of William in and one that was more abstract. He continued to draw until he heard the thump of his brother, or foster brother, waking up. He stashed the drawings quickly where he hid the drawings normally. He never liked to go down stairs before William was done. Not that he didn't like his foster parents, just that he felt awkward around them and wasn't really sure what he was supposed to say. He didn't take the time to put a shirt on, just brush out his hair to fix it and went down with only his jeans on.

After sliding silently down the stairs, Bennie met up with William in the kitchen, "Hey Will... What's up?" He tried not to look over the older boys body, but he didn't succeed too well. Trying to find anything else to look at, to think about, Bennie looked over at the toaster, smelling it, "You making something?"

Once a piece of toast was finished, William smothered some butter on it and shoved the piece into his mouth. Loading the toaster back up, he leaned back, munching on that one piece casually. What was there to do today? It was warm, and he could always call up one of his friends to hang out but.. there was Bennie. He couldn't forget about him. "Oh, hey little brother." Speak of the devil. William only smiled after saying that, enjoying calling him such a childish name despite what age they were at. It was cute, and how many times he had said it, it just stuck. It wasn't long until the toaster went off again and William repeated the process, take out, butter and place them on a plate in small stacks.

"You want some?" He turned to ask Bennie, who made his way into the kitchen pretty quick and pretty.. shirtless. William couldn't help himself put linger his chocolate eyes across the milky chest of his brother, step brother that was. It was perfect.. in every way, shape or form. It looked so soft and smooth.. even from a distance. If only he could just.. "Oh uh.. yeah, it's toast, with butter." He held the one up he was eating, and immediately drained such vivid thoughts from his head. He couldn't think, not now. "Mom and Dad are out.. like always."

Bennie

Shaking his head when asked about food, Bennie grabbed some orange juice, "Nah, I'm good, not really hungry." He rarely ever ate breakfast and didn't mind skipping it at all. He did however, have trouble keeping his mind, and eyes, from wondering. He couldn't help himself from thinking about it, despite his best attempts to stop. When Will referenced his parents being out, Bennie shrugged. He wasn't used to the whole dynamic yet. He was more used to the extremes of parents, foster parents that is. He was used to either very abusive foster parents or ones that didn't even know he was there.

"They do have to work..." He tried not to over step his bounds on this, but it was really the only thing he could think to say. Checking his phone quickly, he looked up at Will, "It's supposed to be sunny all day, you busy? I was thinking we might go down to the lake." The lake was not far, it was actually on their property, just past some woods. They had a dock on the lake and a jet skis and all the things you would find at a lake house. It was a quiet lake and few people really went on the lake.

William shrugged, nibbling on the crust of one of his pieces. "Suit yourself." He mumbled, finishing it off in a few more chomps. It was an amazement how much that boy could eat.. yet he was so skinny and tall compared to anyone else in his family. A high metabolism can do you wonders, it seems. When that one was eaten, he grabbed another, holding it with his mouth and pouring himself a glass of orange juice as well. "They always work." He said after pulling it from his mouth, raising a chocolate brow. "I am eighteen though, it's not like I need them around." William gave his chest a swift brush, getting all the excess crumbs off his freckled skin. "You do what ya' gotta do though." He shrugged again.

"Is it?" William stretched, lingering his eyes over his brother's skin again.. and that cute face. "Nah I don't have plans," He quickly agreed, as it was a really good idea. It had been a while since the two had full alone time. Mom and Dad, with the money they had in their pockets, always took them places but it never was just the two. "Sounds good to me, little brother."

Bennie:

Bennie was happy to hear his brother agree to come with him and finished off his orange juice. He looked over at Will and put the glass in the washer, " Alright, well, I'm gunna go change and get some stuff before we go." He smiled and made his way up the stairs. Once he got to his room he searched for his swim trunks. He remembered when the Moore's had bought him the swim trunks and a lot of other clothes. He came to their home with barely any clothing, several broken ribs, and a sever case of malnutrition. It had only been a few months since he had initially moved in, but he had never felt more comfortable in a place in his life. They had done everything they could to help him assimilate and get used to a normal life, and it worked, mostly. Anything could be a trigger for him and he would have a panic attack, or just break down.

He pushed the thoughts of his past from his mind and put on his trunks, and grabbed a towel and sunblock. He was really pale, and burned easily, so he always had to bring sunblock. Heading out the door, Bennie grabbed some sunglasses and put them on the top of his head.

William couldn't help but smile back at Bennie, just every inch of him just screamed adorable. It was nice to see him smile though, for he knew little of what happened to him before he came - but it surely wasn't good. William leaned back and downed his orange juice in one go when finishing his lovely breakfast, both putting his plate and glass cup in the washer beside him as well. "I'm right behind ya'." He said after the male, following him up the stairs a few seconds behind and catching a few glances of the lucid movements of his back and hips. God, what am I doing? William thought, shutting his eyes for a moment when reaching the top. He really needed to stop doing that.

William turned straight into his room and got to work. Humming a sweet song quietly, he rummaged through his closet for his tight swimming trunks and a towel. "Been a while since I wore these." He said aloud, sliding off his bottoms to slide the trunks on. He had definitely grew since last summer.. but it didn't matter, they fit perfectly fine. Grabbing the towel, a pair of sunglasses and his phone, he was ready as well. Throwing the towel onto his shoulder he met up with his brother at the door, squinting lightly at the bright sun so early in the day.

Bennie:

He met his brother down the stairs and in the kitchen where they had met earlier, "Sorry it took so long, I-" He had to decide what it was he was going to say , it's not like he would just be like, "Sorry it took so long, I was just standing in my room staring at my swim trunks and remembering when I first moved in" "I was looking for my swim trunks." The idea that he had lost them was a weird one because Bennie was obsessed with keeping his room clean and organized. It was from one of the houses he stayed at when he was younger and had, in the most literal sense, been beaten into him. He raised an eyebrow, "You ready to go?" Bennie did have a few scars that his shirt would usually cover, but the only noticeable one went diagonally across his collar bone and onto his chest. He wasn't really embarrassed by it, as he rarely remembered it was there.

William gave his shoulders a casual shrug, ruffling the hair on top of his head once again. "I had to look for mine, been a while since I actually went swimming." He grinned cheekily, giving his leg a light tap to show off his trunks. They were a bit tight than usual, but black, just as he liked them. "But yeah, I'm ready." He nodded, giving his brother's chest a light look over. Still soft and milky.. but there was a silver scar across his collar bone. William guessed immediately where he received it, and it made him a bit.. sad, you could say. Right then and there he wanted to pull his brother close and pepper kisses across that scar..

The tall male went over and opened the door before his mind took him over, squinting those eyes before throwing his shades in front of them. The rush of heat immediately hit him, making him exhale calmly out in relief. "Boy, is this a hot summer." He stepped onto the warm pavement, almost thinking he could hear a sizzle while doing so.

Bennie:

As he stepped out into the sunlight, he squinted, glad he chose to put the sunblock on earlier. He pulled his sunglasses over his eyes. The one thing that was good about having sunglasses on was being able to look at Will without him feeling so nervous about doing it. He glanced over Will's body slowly, trying to not let his mind water. He tried to look at the grass as they passed it to head to the woods. "How much further are we from the lake?" He had only been once or twice.

"Just through the woods which is.." William glanced around, giving the back of his head a light scratch. "Three minutes maybe?" He shrugged his shoulders and looked towards Bennie, smiling. "Bit hot, eh?" He questioned in a joking manner. As soon as the two stepped into the woods, it grew relatively cooler, the shade of the green summer trees knocking down the temperature a few notches. This was the best part of the walk, as the summer sun didn't hit either of them directly. It was a beautiful sight and rather.. quiet, for once. Hell, William could even hear his own thoughts for once.

Bennie

Nodding, Bennie made his way into the woods, following Will. After a few minutes of walking in the woods, they reached the dock. He smiled over at Will and set his towel down on the dock, looking out over the lake. He had always been a good swimmer, he wasn't sure why or even where he learned to swim, he just was. The water was clear and deep and the sand was white and so pretty. He turned to look at Will, smiling a little bit at him before running off the doc and doing a perfect dive into the lake.

William sauntered after Bennie did, and gradually laid his towel down on the dock in a straight line so when he got out, he could just lay there and dry off in the sun. "Feels so nice here." He commented, bending over to get a nice look at his reflection in the clear lake water. Flinching lightly when a few drops of water hit him when Bennie jumped in, he laughed. "Is it cold?" He asked when he came back up, standing near the edge. "Debating whether or not to jump in."

Bennie:

Popping back up in the water, he smiled over at William and nodded,"It's really nice, perfect temperature." He swam a bit while Will debated, just doing nothing. He was struggling on keeping his eyes to himself, like he had been the entire day. It hadn't always been this hard. When he first moved in, he had no problem keeping to himself. Maybe it was because he was settling down and things were normal now. But these feelings, how could they possibly be normal. He knew it was wrong to think about it, but Will would never go for him any ways.

William poked his fingers in and then finally decided, taking a few steps backs and counting to himself. "Three.. two.. one!" He chanted, and ran off, cannon balling right straight into the cool, refreshing water. It took him a while before finally reaching the surface, laughing softly to himself. "Ah, you were right," He breathed, ruffling his wet mess of hair. "It feels so nice.." Leaning back, he let the water take him as he gazed up at the bright blue sky. "I'm glad we could do this, me and you."

Bennie:

Watching as Will jumped in, Bennie laugh to himself. He was happy, and that wasn't a normal occurrence for him. When Will spoke to him, Bennie bit his lip harshly, managing st stammer out, "Me to, big brother..." He playfully splashed Will with some water, giggling slightly. As he laughed, he had dimples, something most people wouldn't know because he normally didn't smile much.

William turned his head and laughed again when Bennie splashed him, immediately allowing him to splash back. It was really nice to see him happy for once, and actually smiling more than usual. It made William feel like he was actually doing something for him. When the splashing stopped, he could still see those dimples. God, he was just so.. "You're so cute.." He thought aloud, reaching over rustle the wet hair on top of his head. Wait, what was he doing? William faltered a little, finally realizing what he really did.

Bennie:

When Will called him cute and touched his hair, Bennie smiled and blushed slightly. He noticed the boy changing his face, maybe thinking about something or regretting what he said. He bit his lip a little, "You really think so?" He wasn't really sure what to say to him, but he wanted to let him know that he liked him but he wasn't sure if Will really felt the same way or not.

(( sorry it took so long, I just got back home again ))

William took his hand back and lowered himself in the water just a bit more, trying to think properly after saying that. He meant it, every word of it but.. was it the right time? Would everything be alright afterwards? "Yeah.. I really think so." He stammered, stumbling over his own words. It was the first time ever that William had ever taken that hard mask off his face.. the mask he wore to keep everything bottled up inside of him.

Bennie:

Bennie stopped moving in the water, looking at Will. He bit his lip and then looked down at the water and back to Bennie again. He started to say something, but stopped himself. It was something he needed to say, but he didn't really know how to tell him. "Will... I... I think you're really attractive." He then looked down at the water, just worried that he might get kicked out of the house if Will didn't feel the same."

William sank his front teeth down into his bottom lip, hard. He said it, he had finally said something to him after all this time.. "Do you, really?" He questioned, drawing in closer. This was it, it was going to happen. "Bennie I.." He paused, glancing away for a moment to rip it out of his mouth. "I like you, a lot. More than a brother.. more than anything.."

Bennie:

When Will said that Bennie felt so many different emotions, and was unsure of which was the right one. Or maybe they all were right, he didn't know. It made him extremely happy and relieved that Will felt the same way towards him, but he was scared, now his secret was out there. What if Will decided he didn't like this and told his parents? The it would be off to the next place. He pushed the later feelings from his mind and looked up at Will, "Me too... Will, I don't even know when it happened. I just... I really like you."
