This is somewhat of DND inspired rp but dumbed down a tad, we'll use dice via editing posts on a ooc page on the site to determine how well a characters actions works out.
Say your character is investigating a battleground for clues, youd type that in the ooc and roll a 20 face die and depending on the number you're successful or you fail. Get 9 or 10 you find nothing. Get 1 or 2 and you tripped over whilst doing your search... get 11 or 12 you get a clue, get 18 or 20 and you find a magical item or money And a clue.
The dice would be used for persuasion, intimidation, deception, charisma in general. And depending on how battle goes maybe all battles or only boss battles. If the party fails against goblins cause of bad luck and losing saving throws and the players are happy to push on however or die then an there then im happy to run said game. We can hammer out the details if anyones keen but put simply that's the mechanics I guess, the story is below.
If you want to play you would be making a adventurer of some sort, a mage, a gunner, a rogue, a knight it doesn't matter. They are decent enough at their profession to afford charter to new lands. As for whatever reason they have boarded The Wet Phoenix, a ship that regularly ventures across the seas to the foreign lands of Karada. Unfortunately the time your onboard... A vicious storm wrecks the Phoenix before it could reach its destination. A literal bloody sea destroyed the ship and it's only survivors awaken on a beach of many shipwrecks on a uncharted island of monsters, undead, tribal races and mystery.
Said survivors would be the player characters forced to band together to face the dangers of the unknown and hopefully be rid of the Blood Sea.
I'd be willing to run this game for two or more people, post requirements would be two paragraphs once a week. More if the whole group wants it.
You can create your own classes/magic/abilities etc the main point in this is random chance and having the writing versatility to have your character roll with whatever happens.
