Realistic or Modern Superpower school

Kriss ran up behind Aidan and tackled him to the ground. She looked up at Min, "you saw nothing!"

Tara ran up behind her, "did you catch him? How can a blind kid be so fast!?" He wasn't actually that fast. but because he couldn't see he kept doing things the two of them didn't expect... like tripping down a flight of stairs... How he even found his way here astounded the both of them... that he made it here alive was even more of a shock. Looking up at the person standing before them Tara froze. Her eyes widened.

Kriss started dragging Aidan back towards the nurse, "your head is still bleeding you dope!"

((Isn't a two way mirror a window?))

Nialla noticed Ren and the girl vanish through a portal, motioning to Lexi as she watched them. "What are they up to?" She asked, not expecting an answer.

"I'll do whatever you want, just help me. If Ren is behind this, this is our best chance to find out."

Min stared surprised and looked at the comotion and giggled sweetly. "You guys are hilarious! What is this a comedic skit?!" She smiled at them sweetly, she looked at Aidan and tilted her head " why were you running down the halls? It's dangerous you might get hurt."

(on crappy phone :P )

(edited A two way mirror is where on one side it looks like a mirror however on the other side it is a window, ie: Min and Ren can see everyone around them but they cannot see them, more like a cloak of invisibility now that i think about it)

((It's practically painful to write....since Aidan is a dope and has NO fucking clue he's posing a danger to anyone. The feelings to that memory seemed like a good one...when it is actually quite horrible information))

It made sense. Something must have happened to Min and the necklace fixed it, making her whole. That explained...to his mind anyway, the horrible memory he saw of ripping a teacher to shreds with glass and then feeling quite glee.

That was broken, this must have fixed it.

Eager to do something right, and to give something back to his teammate and friend, Aidan hurried along, tripping and sliding as he went. When a force tackled ontop of him, he fell to the ground and felt wood sticks pelting on his back as a man in black cloth, completely covered yelled at him to be quicker, to have faster reflexes, your opponent will not be as nice as he as sparing her. He cringed and twitched as if feeling the sticks hitting his back when it was just what he saw.

"Wait...what's...I'm fine. I wanted to give Min back her necklace." he said feeling the back of his shirt picked up as he began getting dragged.

"Oh, you're right there Min!" he exclaimed but Kriss continued to carry him down the hall, he had no clue if she was following or staying put in the hall. "I got your necklace here." He held it in his hands, not the gem itself but the chain.

Something awful was going on.

But they were all kids. If something truly horrible was going on, real heroes would show up and stop it right? This was probably in her imagination and in her head. "I wish I knew..." I'm also scared... "Whatever it is, it's..." Lexi sighed.

She rotated her seat to face the kid. "All I really know is...my gut says something's off. You don't meet someone one day and see a completely different personality in less than an hour....after the second day. Very important, Nialla. IF you're snooping Ren...if he even looks like something awful will happen to you, back off of it. From personal experience the pay back for being a little curious is awful."

And yet here I am...hunting down whatever happenned to Min when clearly being ripped apart by shards and evil rabbits I'm still going for it. Listen to your own advice.

"We're kind of digging the same people. How did you meet this guy anyways?"

What if he's doing the same thing to her that he apparently did to Rai? I didnt' even think of that.

Nialla's expression grew dark at the mention of curiosity. "Trust me, I know how it feels." She pulled up part of her left pantleg, revealing a six inch long scar running down the front of her leg, almost reaching the ankle. "I asked someone the wrong question once. I didn't think she was going to hurt me, but..." Nialla trailed off, not wanting to think about Vi any longer.

After taking a moment to gather herself, she answered Lexi's second question. "I was looking for a guide, someone to show me around the school, and he popped up, offering to help. I didn't trust him at first, he didn't seem at all like the trustworthy type, but I went with him anyway, prepared to strike if need be." Nialla looked Lexi in the eyes for another moment. Her eyes gave off a vibe of distance, as if she wasn't actually there, but every other part of her face showed concentration in the conversation. Was it part of her powers? Is that what she's hinting at? "You don't give the same vibe as him. You lie, but you aren't deceitful."

Eyes widening at the long scar. It was white, it meant that the skin had time to heal. There was a story to that, but something that was also very seeded in the personal matter. Without realizing how much of a jerk she was about to sound her eyes were still on the scar. "You're lucky that that's all that happened, it could have been worse."

Like explosions.

Getting caught in her own thoughts and having Nialla call her out on lying earlier she gave a smile, running her fingers through her short red hair. "It's more witholding information, but I guess when you're a digger that's the same schtick isn't it?" she mused. Her power must be mind reading. "I don't know everything that's going on. I have suspicions...ideas....but it's not really safe to disclose them all, specially since we juuuuust met this class," she gave her a wink.

She liked her. It was like looking at herself pre-death. It was refreshing. But snooping actually got her killed and well, she didn't really lead that great of a life now because of it. But she did pick up on guide. "Did he offer you a favor for a favor? He's flirty. That i can suspect?"

Rai just wanted to be a good big brother....what was Rai going to get in return for giving that necklace?

Lexi physically tensed as that thought raced her mind, she scanned the room and Tara wasn't there. Min and Ren just ran off. Her hand was on the desk pressing down, not realizing she was cracking the foundation of the desk as she pressed harder into it. Breathe. Calm down. Jumping to conclusions. Tara was lazy ran late.

Good big brother....

Min looked confused at the boys words she could barely hear him, but noticed the necklace dangling in his hand. Min first didn't care about the useless empty gem, but the gears in her head began to move. It was the physical portal of my old personality, maybe I could use it later as a opening. I want it. Min began to float after the group reaching for the stone. "Is that my necklace? Where did you find it!! I was so worried...."
(sorry I was in class :P )

(I'm alive! Up to my eyes in graduate school work, but here's a quick something with everyone's favorite twins).

Roland and Rolande were sitting in their classroom without their students. Instead, they were seated at the front row, as if they were listening to their own lecture. Neither spoke to the other, as they were both deep in thought. It was nearly time for them to submit their idea to Elastic for the tournament, and they both seemingly forgot about it until this morning. Rolande broke the silence, as she got out of her seat and walked up and down the aisles, speaking to her brother.

"I don't believe our idea worked, brother."

"Hm. It appears you're right. Perhaps it just isn't possible to get in the mind set of our students simply by sitting in our seats. Perhaps though, other students' seats are more likely to yield results. That girl, Lexi, was it?" He unfolded a piece of paper from his jacket pocket and looked it over. Ever since he printed the class list from his email like Elastic told him, nearly all his attention was devoted to learning about his new students. "She's awfully interesting, wouldn't you agree?"

"Indeed. But I don't believe that will work. She's special, but she's not psychic." As she passed her brother, she pat him on the shoulder to comfort him. "And neither are we, apparently."

Roland grunted again, leaving the classroom quiet yet again. "Is there anything from stopping us from consulting outside assistance?"

"Why would there be?" She eyed him, with deep interest. "Continue."

"The answer has been right in front of our nose, sister. What's the course objective, semester after semester?" He got up from his seat, approaching the window facing the quad. He didn't wait for his sister to answer. "Exactly. 'To provide students with the ability and know-how to provide super powered assistance to civilians in day to day life.'" He paused as he watched students both walking and gliding to their respective classes. "That being said, the question I'm posing is how our students will react to one of these situations... without the use of their abilities."

Without students around, Rolande smiled. Her immaculate teeth betraying the cool demeanor she was adopting in front of her students. "And this outside assistance? Who did you have in mind?"

Roland turned to face her, his slim, yet tall frame blocking the sun, casting a shadow that spanned half the room. "Anyone we can get our hands on. After all, who wouldn't want to help us? It's for the children, after all."

(That's all from me for a while guys, I'll be back on and off to post every now and then. Have fun!)

Nialla was about to explode when Lexi started shaking and holding onto her desk with enough force to crush it into splinters. All of her anger at her ignorant comment vanished, replaced with the need to help Lexi through whatever demons she was battling.

"Lexi, are you okay?" Nialla asked, hoping to bring Lexi back from wherever her dark thoughts had taken her.

((Sorry for the short post, it was originally much longer... And angrier. But went through revisions due to bad timing for the anger.))

((lol, it's a very ignorant comment but neither one of them know the other's history so its a good fuser to share it out xD since nialla snoops her best friend destroys her life...lexi snoops and kaboom))

Retracting her hands the minute she heard Natalie, she looked at them and then back at the desk. The wood cracked in two main sections, branching in smaller cracks like tree branches. "I uh....", her hands curled to fists as she jabbed them into her cargo pockets.

The dubois twins seemed to make this class open study as they stared at each other.

She looked at the freshman. "Did he offer you anything? try to make a deal or a trade? Did he give you any items?" She asked. What the hell did Rai ask for in return. How did it equate to him being a good big brother.

They were in class. Tara was late though....shit.

((I'm waiting until katerang posts possibly grabbing the necklace. Tay's not going to be on as much so i'll probably have the two of them leave class to interupt Min when the necklace gets swiped out of her reach))

Tara watched min float past her. She was still frozen in that spot. Kriss on the other hand had started dragging Aidan faster and even had dragged him around the corner into the next hallway in an attempt to keep away from the strange older min. Tara just stared after them... She finally shook herself out of it and started after them only to trip on something on the floor. "Ouch..." Tara groaned and searched the ground to see what she had slipped on. There was something round on the ground... it looked like a marble. She picked it up and gasped. Part of Min's necklace, the ball had fallen off of the chain... She quickly slipped it in her pocket and ran into the classroom.

"oh... Hey Lexi."

Nialla shook her head at the questions, feeling a little upset for being no help. "No he just took me to Mrs. Turner's room and left almost immediately after; he was in a huge hurry when he left, but I didn't see anyone say anything that could have changed his attitude so quickly." She sat for a moment, thinking more on what could have caused his attitude change.

"Is he a telepath?" Nialla asked as Tara walked in.

Min realized that they were not going to wait for her and she sighed. She stood there in the empty hallway and glared. This isn't working........ I need my power, I want power, I want the world to bend at my will I want to destroy. I need to destroy. I need my power, I need to help these people see the dark, cure them from their world. I NEED POWER. I NEED POWER. Min clutched her chest as if feeling for the whole where her power once was.

(Sorry passing through, big math test need to study)

"Kriss...I'm fine...ow!" he twisted his ankle as he was being dragged ((Most of it his own fault)), yellow eyes watering. "I'm just trying to give Min her necklace back." The poor kid was terribly confused, head throbbing and in pain.

As Tara walked into class Lexi blipped into her view squeezing her into a hug, then pulled her arms apart, legs apart. She circled around her twice and patted her body down. "Did Rai or Ren see you? If not...do not accept any items either one of them may give you. None. Wait...maybe he could have put it on...hey! Arnold don't peck me!" She stepped back as the phoenix pecked her cheek, a cut as blood trickled and then it healed.

The Dubois lost in their own world it seemed this was probably a free study.

"Not that I know of. Guy can create portals into dimensions. Which note to self should probably research how many dimensions there are and what exactly are in them....that sounds useful." She around her best friend again to make sure. "I know he can dig in your past though. Which leads me to believe he can in a way teleport....and he knows how to dig himself. If anything...he's probably got your whole family backstory right now since he doesn't even go here."

The bracelets were new, but she had those on yesterday before they even MET Ren so that was safe...

"Good Arnold, That's why your my favorite." Tara cooed at the Phoenix rubbing his head. She turned back to her friend,"you do remember that some of us can't heal broken ribs instantly... right... Lexi?" Her eyes narrowed, "Now... Why would I willingly see my brother?...he tries to hug me... And I would only even look at Ren to see his cool hat."

--

"And whyyyyyy are you doing that?" Kriss finally finished dragging him to the nurses office. "Fix this!" She told the nurses pointing at Aidan.

"So he can time travel..." Nialla said, trying to fit the pieces together. It wasn't easy, it was like trying to put a square peg into a triangular hole. "So there are too many possibilities. Way too many. Can he affect the past in any major way? Any way at all? Could he have warned himself of whatever happened earlier today, giving him a reason to ditch me? I doubt it, since I'm positive I would have noticed a second Ren." Nialla kept thinking, trying to find another explanation, something that wasn't telepathy.

Finally, she gave up. "It has to be some kind of telepathy, it has to." Nialla was convinced of this, not seeing any other explanation.

"Don't encourage him. He only protects you because you have mangoes." Alexandra Clark retorted. But she felt more at ease seeing nothing on her at all. Time travel....ahh. She turned her head and put up her index finger. "I'm probably wrong on that. I know he can go from one location to the next. He opens a portal here, could be anywhere. I just knew he figured out my past within seconds but there are databases you can look into a person and stuff. If he can time travel...well I'm pretty muched fucked."

I can't even pretend to even know how to stop that. She thought.

"You. What? No. No on the hats. Just...he already has a parade of...no! Whatever you do, just if Rai tries to give you something don't take it. If he tries to lead you somewhere don't. I'm pretty sure your brother has no clue what he did or what he is going to do but still....I'd...stay away until I figure what exactly Ren promised him. WAIT....TARA! You can hold his arm! You can see the past touching people...you can go see that whole conversation. What it was about. Why it was so important to give that necklace to Min....what exactly he promised Rai in return for doing it. And did you get anything from it when you held it?"

--

"It's her necklace. I don't know who dropped it in my hand but it's her necklace. She gave it to some white haired little boy telling him to make sure that he gave this to her. It would make her whole again and fix her. THAT explains why she was happy killing that teacher in the other memory. Something was wrong and that probably fixed it. So she needs it. She definitely needs it."

The nurse walked in, saw Aidan....groaned. "Seriously? One day. Can I have ONE DAY where he's not in my office?" Rolled her eyes she walked over to do her work.

"Hopefully he can't. And if he can, maybe he can only do minor things?" Nialla was grasping straws at this point, trying to find out as much about Ren with as little information as possible.

"Oh, and Tara's right, you know. He has an amazing hat." Nialla said, getting off track.

((Edit: that nurse's comment made me laugh really loudly in front of my coworker xD )

"Nope. I'm telling you now. He will be here every day.... And sure Aidan... We can give it back to her." Kriss looked down at the Chain in his hands.... She was not tellin him he had lost the most important part of the necklace... Tara could do hat it was her fault.

--

"I forget... Ask Kriss she was there." She whispered to Arnold, "Look Arnold! That girl has mangoes..." she pointed at Nialla.

((Doing my job then))

The nurse jerked her head in Kriss's direction giving a snarl. She would lock this kid up in a padded cell to just give her a day off. They petitioned it at the teacher meetings held at the beginning of every month, but that was apparently inhumane. Maybe if she brought in a pair of shoes for the Principal next time she suggested it she would get what she wanted.

His sprained ankle healed, along with his head injuries he nodded. "Who dropped it in my hand anyways? That's very random...of all things to find. LIke it was done on purpose or something." He did feel better though. Knowing what caused Min to feel happy and justified in ripping a person to shreds with glass was because something was done to her made him feel more at peace at having the memory.

Having no clue at all...that what he saw...he was not making the right connections here. He wondered if he should tell Min what he saw, that it wasn't horrendous so she might feel better about him accidently peaking into her memories.

--

((god damn it with the hats! Katerang march hands! MARCH HANDS))

"How would you forget it? I mean you saw it right? Or is that something you have to mediate at temple for." Poking her chest. "Teeeeeeemple" remembering that Tara ditched her now for more than half the day to do some stupid activity she never said she would do.

What was with everyone? It was like they were all switching personalities or some shit.

Arnold tilted his head, spread his wings and glided over to the little blonde one. He started on her shoulder, leaning forward and sniffing. But it didn't take long for him to determine this was a perch as he climbed on the head, dug his beak through...pulled something out and ate it. He sat contently on the perch as his body began to warm and heat up.

He really wanted mangoes.

"If he can...he's a narcisistic egomaniac...and God save us on what he'd do. He'd probably be some sort of picture on Mount Rushmore or something like that.

She pointed her finger at her. "No. No. Don't feed into that. I live with her and then I'm going to hear 'Lexi, see Nialla agrees the hat is cool. So does Kriss. You're just a party pooper.' That's like...feeding that one whenever he wants something...and he always wants something." Arnold cued in agreement.

"I don't think so. Ren would provably do something like make himself something like "sexiest man in the world."" Nialla said, not noticing the Phoenix on her head.

"He does have a great hat, though." Nialla said, wanting to pout.

((Sorry for a short post, in class))

As Min fumed and went back to class, somewhere far off in a different dimension Ren was leaning over a counter smiling at a robotic girl. "Come on Cali just one more person, I'll be your best lover if you do this for me."

Cali looks at Ren with unamused robotic eyes, she shut her computer "No."

Ren leaned over and smiled "come on baby don't be like that it's for Min, you know your childhood friend." Cali glared at Ren "you say that everytime an yet I still haven't seen her. All your requests are about girls, Lexi Clark, Kriss, Starling, and now Nialla, I'm starting to think Min has nothing to do with your requests." Ren sighs "Min is trapped on Earth... you know THAT planet." Cali gasps "really? Poor girl... fine I'll get your information, but next time you come back, because you always comeback, bring Min."

Cali goes over to the back room and grabs a tiny child. The child kicking and screaming is thrown into a yellow pod, sharp needles engulf the pod and the child becomes quiet. Cali smiles and goes back to her computer a wave of information quickly rushes into her computer and is stored in a tiny glowing cube. She picks the cube up and hands it to Ren "here, next time it's Min or Money." Ren smiled and put a finger under her chin "how about physical payment?"

Cali looked at him her expression unchanged "No."

Ren sighs"Cali you need to get a emotion chip your no fun."He turns, waving goodbye to Cal, then walks off into a portal and appears at the front of the school outside on the stairs looking at the cube in his hand.
