Her humor mostly consists of sarcasm, with the occasional dirty or punny joke slipped in; She loves making others laugh, and prefers making others laugh instead of making herself laugh. Rosemary tends to prioritize other people’s needs over her own sometimes, even going to the point of forgetting to eat to help a friend out. If she makes a mistake, she usually finds herself lashing out at no one else but herself, making the adage “you have no one else to blame but yourself” her life’s saying. She hates speaking about her father, due to her past with him. At the time, it was just Rosemary and her older brother Victor, who is three years older than her; The two lived in an upper-middle class family with their mother, Diana, and father, Gabriel. Diana was a kind-hearted young woman, with strawberry blonde hair and golden eyes, much like Rosemary; She was well-known in their community for all the good community service activities she’d engage in ever since she was younger, Diana was also the former Mayor’s daughter. Diana worked as a neurologist, thus increasing her reputation within the community. Gabriel, however, struggled with his childhood family life -- Having suffered from abuse, and was often moved from foster home to foster home until he emancipated himself at the age of 17; He worked as a website designer, due to his fascination with technology. Granted, the two were quite the unlikely couple, but for a brief period -- They maintained a happy, peaceful family life. There was practically no conflict, until an unfortunate night that changed Rosemary’s life, as well as the rest of her family.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=13.333333333333332px]Diana needed to work the late night shift, and warned her children that she would be out later than usual, to which the children understood despite being so young. She kissed her children and her husband goodbye, before departing for the rest of the night; Rosemary could have sworn that her father was giving her strange looks before Victor had pulled her off to play videogames together. The two had a fun time together, being a Friday night and the duo had no school the next day, it was a night of freedom for the siblings. Eventually, midnight had struck and Gabriel informed the two that it was time for bed; Victor was fussy as always, while Rosemary obediently complied. Once Gabriel had helped Victor get dressed and tucked into bed, he helped Rosemary and Rosemary could have sworn that her father allowed his touches to linger far longer than she was comfortable with. Rosemary, being too young to understand, shrugged off the thought and instead giggled as though she were tickled by it. The treatment, however, didn’t stop that night -- Instead, her father continued his ministrations behind her mother’s back for four more years.[/SIZE]

Thinking back to it, Rosemary would scoff and murmur ‘yeah, special’ at the very thought. Eventually, one night her father had gone too far while her mother was asleep, and when Rosemary had awoken and was about to scream, she was soon threatened by Gabriel that she would ruin the family if she said a word to their mother about this. Disoriented and frightened, Rosemary kept quiet about the ordeal, and her father continued his crimes against his daughter. A year later, Victor would return home to see what their father was doing to his little sister, and was quick to catch himself before acting rashly, and called the police as he hid in his bedroom closet and awaited the arrival of the authorities, who luckily came in just in time to catch their father. Diana was horrified to find her own husband charged with child molestation and rape against their own daughter, and she became far more overprotective over both of her children since then. Rosemary was placed through several therapy sessions throughout her childhood due to the trauma she’d suffered from the rape, and Victor was also in therapy for witnessing it. Their father’s actions against her had scarred her for the rest of her life. She would never forgive her father after the ordeal, and neither would the rest of her family.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=13.333333333333332px]Life for Rosemary had gone to what she would refer to as a “casual period”, in which life went on as per usual later in the year -- Diana moved homes with Rosemary and Victor, and the two continued to go to school, as well as attend various therapy sessions of her own. Although loathing her father, Rosemary felt as though her family was broken up all because of her; Eventually, their mother came out to them as bisexual, and the children accepted it -- Seeing no reason to have any disdain towards what a person could control. Rosemary felt attraction towards women and men as well, just like her mother. The next year, Diana married her secret lover and best friend, Fionna Wilde. It was then that Diana would finally reveal yet another secret to her two children; Finally deciding that it was enough time to stop hiding, Diana took her children to a room where she showed them the crippled opalescent wings on her back. Rosemary and Victor (who were 11 and 14 years old at the time) learned that night that their mother was a ‘changeling’; Changelings are ‘incapacitated’ faerie infants that are replaced with human infants. They learned that their grandparents knew of Diana’s wings, but told her to hide them in fear of being ridiculed. Diana never met her fae parents, but had managed to get a hold of her abilities as one, and used them to place ‘illusion charm’ upon them -- Making them look normal. Removing the charm, the siblings discovered their faerie wings inherited from their mother. Diana decided it was time to teach her children to hone in their skills, and Victor was sent to Orion Academy in hopes of finding a way to accept himself as not being fully human. Their mother had the charm placed upon Rosemary as she remained home, being too young to join at the time.[/SIZE]
