Welcome to Veronia!
Please RP in the corresponding color (if you are a hero= teal; villain= red)
THE HEROES:
There are government controlled hero organizations (GCHO, also known as Gecko) and there are the lone vigilantes, which the government does not condone. Any vigilantes caught in the streets, even fighting crime, will be arrested and tried as equals to the criminals.

THE VILLAINS:
Just as there is Gecko, there is an organized villain association (OVA), based on a hierarchy of villains. And in the same way, as there are vigilantes, there are lone villains who stand not just against Gecko and vigilantes, but also the OVA.

THE SETTING:
Gecko HQ
OVA HQ
Streets
((Anything else acceptable within a city; i.e. bank, stores, mall, etc.))

Happy RPing!

Chaos chuckled to herself as she strolled into the Veronia City Bank.

Just a little heist, she murmured, wearing a pleasant smile on her face. Her shiny high heels clicked against the marble surface of the floor with every step she took. It sounded almost loud in the near silence of the bank, only interrupted by the occasional murmur of voices at the teller windows. Chaos pulled at the lapels of her costume.

For this little inside job, Chaos had worn a white collared shirt, made out of thin cotton-- perhaps a tad too transparent for the city bank, but it was all she'd had time to steal from the laundromat down the street. It was still damp from when she pulled it out of the washer. Her skirt was a black pencil skirt, hugging her thighs as she strode up to one of the windows where a bored looking fellow played with his pen, getting ink all over his fingers. Chaos gave an internal snort of disgust. Idle bodies were useless.

Don't worry, she cooed to him in her head. I'll give you something to do soon enough.

Chaos coughed delicately, leaning over and tapping the glass between them to get his attention; in doing so, she revealed some of the cleavage she'd exposed when she failed to completely button up her 'borrowed' shirt. The man's eyes bugged wide as he looked up and came face to face with her chest. She smiled innocently, batting her eyes like an idiot.

"Hello?" she purred, smiling seductively at the teller. "I'd like to make a withdrawal." That was true-- Chaos wanted to withdraw all the money from this bank.

"Uh... of course," sputtered the poor fool, trying and failing to keep his eyes on Chaos' face. "Name, card, number?" he asked, scrambling for the computer keyboard.

Chaos gave a sinister smile which the man failed to see.

"That won't be necessary," she chuckled, watching as the male pulled his gaze upwards and met her grinning face with a confused expression. She placed a hand under the glass barrier between their faces and witnessed his befuddled face become horrified as a fog began to circulate the room, tendrils of purple mist wafting from Chaos' body. "I think I can do this myself."

Chaos barely finished speaking before the man slumped over the keyboard, unconscious. Behind her, she heard more thumps as all the occupants in the room fell to the ground, passed out. She smiled and lazily got up from her position, humming and walking over to the guard. She snagged the keys from his belt, patted his chiseled jaw, and then sashayed over to the locked door. Using her newly retrieved key, Chaos opened it and slid into the back area of the bank.

She knew she needed to act quickly. Soon, her powerful but not-enduring mist would wear off, leaving the bank with confused occupants who would only remember a hallucination. Chaos bit her lip and used the key to unlock several more drawers and vaults full of money and goods. Too bad she didn't know the codes and pins to various accounts. That would have been useful for the funding of OVA. She sighed and shook her head, coming back to the present. Unlatching the business suitcase she'd been carrying, she stuffed it chock full of cash, cards, and coins. Smirking, Chaos closed it, hefting it up with a grunt at how heavy it was.

"Geez," she muttered, heading for the back exit of the bank. "You'd think it'd be a little harder than this. Where are all the heroes when you want them?"

With a shrug, Chaos headed back to OVA Headquarters, pleased at the opportunity to tell her boss of a mission gone well.

Serana Wildes

Leaning casually against a wall outside the city's bank waiting for her brother, a woman swayed her head thoughtfully in time with her headphones' music. Every few minutes she adjusted herself and tugged at her beige trench coat uncomfortably. Feathers provided fluffy cushioning, but her hidden wings were feeling a little bit like pins-and-needles.
Serana was suddenly alerted by her buzzing phone, and took it from her pocket to see a text from her brother, 'Something's wrong stay outside'
She pushed off the wall and stood rigidly at the bank's doors, suddenly vigilantly hyper-aware.
A few minutes after the text, another woman in business attire that looked vaguely mismatched strolled out lugging a suitcase that seemed to have some weight to it. Serana marked her in her mind, then swung through the doors. All she saw was a room of unconscious people, a few stirring, picking themselves up from the floor. She immediately ducked back outside again, then took a few seconds again to find the woman on the sidewalk.
Jogging to catch up, Serana very suddenly clapped a hand on the woman's shoulder, and held with a harsh grip.
'What did you do?' She hissed.

Chaos
Chaos turned and calmly looked at the female whose hand had clamped down on her shoulder. She raised one brow, eyes quickly flicking down the female's body before returning to her face.

"Excuse me," she purred, her red-wine lipstick coated lips curving up into a sly smile. "But I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about. Is there something amiss?"

Inside, Chaos was seething. She had to tell the boss and deliver her prizes before evening, and then make it back home in time for her day job. Because even villains have lives, you know. Chaos glanced down at her Rolex, pinching her lips together in disapproval. If she didn't hurry, she'd be late. Her eyes flicked back up to the female. And if that girl didn't let go of her right about now, Ms. Grabby Hands was gonna be lying on the sidewalk in a coma.

Serana Wildes

‘Yes, something is amiss. You're going to explain to me what and how,’ Serana growled through her teeth. Her grip went from the woman’s shoulder to her wrist--the one of the hand with which she held the suitcase--with a grip that could be described as halfway to ‘crushing.’ She then began marching back toward the building with a forceful purpose, keeping the other woman in her peripheral vision. If she made an attempt at fleeing, Serana would jerk her back, and throw her whole weight into the motion. It would probably bring the other woman to the ground, but that was the lesser of her concerns. Yeah
Hidden beneath her coat, Serana’s wings twitched involuntarily. Fortunately, it was subtle enough that inattentive passerby wouldn't notice, or would simply attribute it to the briskness of her step.
‘Now, I don't know where you're so eager to go hurry off to,’ Serana commented with her own venomous grin, ‘But I promise this won't be too out of your way. I'm sure it can wait.’

Chaos
Despite the other woman's insisting tug on her wrist, Chaos did not move an inch. The heels of her pumps dug into the sidewalk, and with a slight grin, she wrenched her arm out of the other woman's hand with more strength than a normal person. But she didn't run. Instead, Chaos smirked and crossed her arms, the suitcase resting against her hip. It was heavy, but Chaos had carried things far heavier.

She continued to study the female with a raised brow, mentally picking through the female's all too neat appearance.

"Oh, honey," she murmured. "You need to let loose a little." Her head tilted as she perused the woman's body. "Let your hair down sometimes. Wear something fun! Ooh, you know what would look great on you? A little sweater vest and a cute skirt..." She reached out with her hand and pointed at the female's shoes. "Wear some wedges or kitten heels. You would probably look amazing. And put a little makeup on... nothing too obvious, but get a little color in your cheeks, you know?" Her watch beeped and she smirked as a taxi rolled up. "Oh, this is for me." A man got out of the cab and opened the door for Chaos, and she wiggled her fingers cheekily at Serana before blowing a kiss and winking. Chaos got in the car as the driver tried not to ogle her breasts. She patted his cheek knowingly and smiled as she made her little getaway.

OVA:
Chaos tapped her foot anxiously, biting her lip as she waited. God, how she hated waiting. She heard a bodyguard cough uncomfortably in her presence, and she nearly snarled at him. His gaze flicked to her exposed decollage and she leered at him, sticking her chin up in the air. It was part of her job, and if it made him uncomfortable, who cared? She wasn't concerned about him, she was concerned about what the boss would think. With her suitcase in hand, she stepped through the steel doors and held her breath, unsure of what was coming.

Serana Wildes

She reluctantly let the woman leave. Serana didn't listen to her picking apart her appearance, instead used the opportunity to cast a glare and make it not look like she was trying to memorize her face and outfit, and the license plate on the cab.
But with one problem not-quite-resolved-but-impossible-to-pursue-further, Serana turned back and almost sprinted back to the bank and dashed through the doors. By then more people were beginning to wake up, groaning and muttering about things whose happenings were incoherent. After finding her brother and confirming that he was alright, she dialed the police and gave as best a description of the woman as she could, and recited the cab’s plate number, and what she knew of what had happened. She made sure to mention the possible need for Gecko’s involvement.
Soon authorities arrived on scene and were questioning all the witnesses, but nobody remembered anything of substance besides Serana. Emergency medical responders were also there, trying to piece together what in the hell could have brought an entire room unconscious so quickly.
It had been a couple of hours of waiting for Serana and her brother, and they both were sitting--well, Serana only leaning again--by the side of the scene.
