*Ahem* Hello everyone!
My (user)name is Forever For Never, though I've gone by many names (FFN, Aidou, Em, Emoly, Edgy, Edge, etc). Feel free to call me any of the above, or make up your own! I collect nicknames like some collect stamps. x3 I am on the hunt for some new roleplay partners, as you may have gathered from the title. Or maybe you just clicked on it because it was weird. Either way, if I have piqued your interest so far, read on to see what I'm looking for! But first... the term and conditions! Well, not really. This post will be organized into four sections: About me (as a person), About me (as a roleplayer), What I'm looking for in a partner, and plots/ideas, pairings, fandoms, etc)... AKA THE FUN STUFF! Please read through the whole post so you can decide if I am someone you actually want to roleplay with! Having interesting plot ideas is great and all, but in my experience the compatibility is usually what makes or breaks a roleplay. Anyway, buckle up kids, 'cuz here we go!~
About me (as a person)
+I am, before anything, a huge nerd. I make really lame jokes all the time, have not just a favorite color but a favorite number (it's 3, by the way), and love learning new things, psychology being my most specific interest.
+Someday, if I can go back to school and get my Doctorate (I'm a loooooong ways away from that, but we'll see what happens), I'd like to go into research in mental health treatment and hopefully discover something that will help people.
+I'm also an artist in several different forms. I draw, paint, sew, and am learning my way around calligraphy and getting into bookbinding! If I get really excited about a roleplay, I may even draw a scene or two from it!
+I adore dogs, and have a three-year-old beagle/French bulldog mix that I will gladly share pictures of if asked!
About me (as a roleplayer)
+I mostly do 1x1s, and as such value collaboration with my partners as a core value for my roleplays. I like to ask questions, throw out ideas, and create something beautiful together!
+I am a mirror poster, so I can usually match whatever you throw at me, be it a few sentences or several beefy paragraphs. That being said, it will take me longer to respond if I am writing a longer post.
+My response time can vary, some days it will be several replies within the hour and sometimes I might not get on for almost a week. I will do my best to give an advance notice if it will be more than a few days, but sometimes life is unpredictable, ya know?
+If romance is involved in the roleplay, which is generally something I prefer, I am open to all pairings! MxM, MxF, FxF, NB, anything goes! Except one thing: I will NOT play the sole male in a MxF paring. You can tell I'm serious, because I bolded and underlined it! It's nothing personal, but those are the ones I have dropped most in the past, so for the interest of all parties involved I stick to that rule. That being said, I am happy to double, the more characters the merrier!
+Now, the most divisive topic... Dropping roleplays without warning. I have done it more than I am proud of, and while it is something I am working on, I cannot gaurantee that it will not happen again. With that being said, if you would be more than moderately disappointed if I disappear without notice, I might not be your ideal roleplay partner. >_>
What I'm looking for in a partner:
-+To give me a post you are proud of. I try to give my partners posts that I think are quality, whether it a long one to set the scene or a short one to move things along during an action sequence. I'm not asking for anyone to match me word for word if it's full of fluff, but I want to read something that will make me want to respond to it, and keep me excited about the roleplay.
+Try your best to use proper spelling, grammar, and the like. Mistakes happen and that's 100% okay, but if I can't understand what you're trying to write I'll have a hard time responding to it. >_>
+I'd prefer if you were between the ages of 18 and 30, that's just who I'm most comfortable roleplaying with because of my own age.
-Plot/chat with me! I like befriending my partners, I think it makes the whole experience more fun. ^.^ We don't have to become BFFs, but please don't snub me if I ask how you are!
+Please be respectful of my triggers. As a person who has struggled with mental illness, I really don't like inaccurate or distasteful descriptions of characters who struggle with those. If you don't know about something, please do your research before writing about it! In addition, I'm not super fond of intense/graphic depictions of violence, self-harm or suicide. Those topics can exist in our roleplays as it may fit well into some, but please be respectful about how you write them.
+Patience with replies. Like previously mentioned it might take me a bit to get back to the roleplay sometimes, so please be patient! If you don't hear from me for 3 days feel free to poke me, I'll try to respond as soon as I can!
+If you're just not feeling the roleplay, feel free to let me know. I'm fairly ditch friendly, I've been on both sides many times, but if you're able to let me know we might be able to try something that works better for both of us, so keep that in mind!

General Themes:
+Forbidden Love:***** When two people are hopelessly in love who are //NOT// supposed to be together, and must overcome barriers in order to be together, it makes their love even more satisfying! This can be combined with different pairings or themes easily, and can be as simple as something like Angel x Demon (big no no) or something less obvious, for example: Musician x Musician from rivaling bands!
+Soulmates:**** I really love the idea of some sort of destiny binding people together. The "simply meant to be" love, where when they meet everything makes sense. OR--we can switch it up! What if they are destined, but can't stand each other? Or by the time they find one another, one is already happily married?!
+Enemies to Lovers:*** Sort of opposite of Soulmates (or, potentially, combinable?), but it's somehow satisfying to see people put their initial prejudices aside and grow fond of someone they had, at one point, despised. With this I do draw a few lines though--It's hard to forgive and fall in love with someone who murdered your family, so I'd prefer if this was more of the case of misunderstandings or petty reasons for hate, not Stockholm Syndrome.
+Supernatural/Fantasy:*** Pretty general, but I love me some *magic*! This could be supernatural creatures, divine interventions, kingdoms far far away, or wishes coming true miraculously. Or, we could create a whole new universe for our characters to play around in!
+Established Relationship:**** I haven't had the chance to do much of these, but I think exploring a relationship that has already been going on and seeing the characters grow with each other (or, grow apart?) could be really interesting!
+Love Triangle:**** Okay, hear me out. This would NOT be your typical, I-like-them-but-I-also-like-them-who-do-I-choose love triangle! This would be the extraneous circumstances love triangle. Extraneous circumstances, like: "The love of my life died and I eventually learned to move on and love again, but they were resurrected and back in my life! " or, "I was in a committed relationship and I got into an accident and lost all memories of them, I've been learning to live my new life without my memory and have found love but then my previous partner, who has been searching for me since I disappeared, shows up at my door!" The UNUSUAL circumstances. This could even get really messy and include more than three people--love squares, anyone?! (or they could all just love each other, that way no one has to choose
Plots:
+I Like You A Latte!**** An author/artist/musician/freelancer spends nearly every day at their favorite coffee shop, working away and drinking copious amounts of coffee. But is it the coffee that keeps them coming back, or is there love brewing between them and their favorite barista...?
+Wanted: One Supernatural Roommate!:*** A supernatural being of choice moves to the big city. Problem is, they can't afford the obscene raise in rent! After posting a desperate ad on Craigslist for another non-human roommate, and getting trolled a lot, someone serious finally responds. Will living in a cramped apartment be too much for these two otherworldly beings? Or will it be the kind of connection they had been searching for all along?
