[div class=firstword]background[/div] keisuke was born in a very average family, to very average parents. as a child, however, he was not-so-average. he was loved by his friends for sticking up for them (i.e. being the leader of the pack) and loved by the teachers for being so darn cute. by junior high school, however, things took a slightly different turn. he’d always been one to show his emotions, but with puberty, he became a lot more “wild”. he’d get into fights (it usually started as him defending a friend then escalating from there) and miss classes because he found studying boring. let’s just say that teachers didn’t adore him nearly as much as they used to, and soon enough, the label “delinquent” seemed to describe him perfectly.
a part of his rebellious tendencies seems to have stemmed from being exposed to a lot of injustice as a kid. growing up, keisuke saw his father struggle to find a permanent job within the construction industry. life had dealt many blows to hisashi, who often returned home weary and exhausted. seeing the way the world viewed his father, a single dad struggling to make ends meet, keisuke became determined to fight for what’s right. of course, things started looking up for the two in his first year of senior high school, when hisashi finally landed a job and married working woman asako. despite now having a loving mother figure to turn to, keisuke seems to still be stuck in his rebellious habits. in his mind, his actions are justified given the “messed up system”, and he could care less about the way outsiders view him.

[div class=firstword]aspirations[/div] keisuke isn’t entirely sure what he wants to do after graduation. he knows what he’s good at: fighting, sports, and eating, but is he passionate enough to pursue any of those things as a career?
as for short-term goals, keisuke really just wants to win at the upcoming sports festival. and maybe land a girlfriend, because all the girls right now seem to be terrified of him. studies? never heard of them.
