It was my day off from work on this nice Monday morning. I woke up from my nap around 8 am and I looked at my phone to check if i had any photo shots today because they like to call me last minute for everything on my day off. And so far so good,so I went and grabbed my towel and went to take a nice shower just to start my day off. When I got out the shower I went in my room to put on some nice high wasted short and a crop top that says "Never Let You Go!" and I put on my converse and ran down the stairs. I wanted to go to the beach with my friends to make some plans for the vacation to Hawaii and we pick this week which is tomorrow just to make sure everyone was still going and has no last minute work stuff. I grabbed my phone and my Purse and went left the house saying to everyone "I will be home later guys". I left and went inside my car and before I drove off I texted everyone on the group chat saying...

I was awoken by my phone playing an alt-rock song, the sound I got for all of my texts. Groaning, I pulled my pillow over my head. Monday was the day I always called off for work, and I would usually sleep until 11:40 in the morning. So being woken up around 8 o'clock was never fun. Fumbling pick up my phone, and rubbing my eyes to read the text, I immediately woke up. It was a text from Nina about going to the beach! I would surely be late if I didn't get ready. How could I have forgotten? I bolted up out of bed and quickly changed into bermuda jean shorts and a Christina Perri T-shirt. As I pulled a brush through my messy red hair, I contemplated how I ended up with friends that were so popular and rich. 'Must have been some kind of crazy luck.' I finally decided, throwing a beanie on top of my head before brushing my teeth. When I finished, I slipped on my flip-flops and pulled out my phone replying to the group chat:

Putting my phone back into my pocket, I made my way to the kitchen. My parent's had already gone to work, so there was no need to say goodbye as I took a Pop-Tart and left my small house. Loading into my car, I took a large bite of the Pop-Tart and began driving to the beach.

I pulled out my phone, smiling when I checked my messages. It was from Nina and Cassidy, both in the group chat. I sat up from my bed, shaking away the sleep. I lift me sleepy frame from the bed and head to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Once I'm done, I change into a sleeveless shirt with random patterns and some blue skinny jeans. I step into the bathroom to style up my hair, turning it into a sort of quiff. Once I'm done with everything and I'm finally ready to go, I step out of my room and into the living room where I'm greeted by my father. I hurry past him, not wanting to start anything now. I hop into my jeep and start driving to my destination. I make sure I reply to the girls:

On my way to the to the beach and my phone kept on ringing and vibrating in my pocket, Ten minutes later I have finally reached the beach and now the hard part was to find a fucking parking. It was always so hard to find parking even when it's 8:30 am. When I finally found a dumb ass parking I turned off my car and I took my phone out of my pocket and read the text messages from Austin and Cass. I then wrote in the group chat and said......

I hummed softly, dancing with an All Time Low song that blared from my phone speaker. Torn skinny jeans hugged my hips surprisingly comfortably. A low hanging tank top flowed with my movements as I laughed loudly, jumping up onto my bed and singing along with the lyrics. Silence and then beep, notifying me that I have received a text message. Picking up my phone and laughed as I saw the text chain and rolled my eyes. "How do they type so fast. Kids these days." I whispered and typed my response. Excited to get out of the house I ran out of my room and down the stairs as quickly as possible. Extracting my keys I unlocked my car.

I ended up parking far away from our actual meeting point, having to walk half a mile to get there. Not yet had I even made it to the actual sand, and just walked along the sidewalk. I finished my small breakfast, wiping crumbs off my face, and continued my long walk to the beach. During my walk I realized how out of shape I truly was, but shrugged it off. 'I don't care if I love food and sleep. You know what, I'll get married to food, and sleep can be my brides made for all I care.' I was thinking to myself. My thought was interrupted when my iphone decided to blare rock music, indicating me of more texts. I put my phone on vibrate before reading the messages. A small blush creeped up my face at Austin's reply, but I did my best to hide it. As I was just about to reply, I literally tripped over the ground, falling face forward onto the concrete. My phone went flying into the air, landing with an stomach churning crack. I cursed under my breath, slowly pulling myself to the ground. "Stupid feet.." I muttered.

I finally pulled up at the beach, my heart still beating fast from my almost encounter with my dad. Finding a parking spot was proving to be harder than I thought, but I got one in the end. I reached into the backseat to grab a beach towel, before heading off to find Nina.I spotted her car a little whiles away, and walked towards it, hoping that she was in there. To my luck, she was, although she was on her phone so she couldn't see me. I decided not to waste anymore time and banged my fists against the window, loud enough for her to here but soft enough not to break it.

I jumped into my convertible, going way past the speed to the beach. As soon as I got there and parked the closest I could I practically crawled out of the fucking car and laughed wildly. Grabbing my phone and a small bag I kept in the backseat for surprise beach occasions like this. (I mean, a girl has to be prepared for everything.) I tried my best not to fall over all the clutter in my car. Slinging my bag over my shoulder I began to walk to very recognizable car of Nina. I rolled my eyes as Austin banged on the glass. Walking over to the car I smiled through the same window at Nina. "Hi!" I shouted, not caring she was on the phone.

I was to busy in the car answering my emails from work and stuff about photo shoot in 2 weeks and then I looked up and saw Austin banging on my window and Cass. I grabed my stuff for the beach and came out the car and hugging them both and said "Hey Guys".

I giggled, hugging Nina back, "Hey there. Long time no talk!" I exclaimed and pulled back my hair, swishing it my left shoulder. "I've missed hanging with you guys. When will the others be here?" I asked eagerly, pulling my tank top from the heat. "I sure hope soon." I added and shrugged, taking out a Snapple from the bag and popping it open, drinking it down eagerly and smiling brightly.

I groaned, pulling myself from the ground. 'Good job, Cass. Let's go and break a bone now, okay?' I thought to myself in sheer annoyance. I wiped dirt off of my now scrapped and slightly bleeding knees, and rubbed my tender hands against my jeans. Sighing, I picked my now completely cracked phone off of the ground and cursed under my breath once more. Finally, after a long walk, I made my way to see my friends already talking and communicating. Doing my best to conceal the evidence of a fall (although it was no use since my jeans barely reached the top of my bleeding knees), I walked up to them. "Hey, guys.." I said, giving a forced smile and putting my phone into my pocket.

I laughed while we had a nice conversation until Cass showed up and I ran to her a jumped on her to hug her and said "Omg Cass I missed you guys so much " I looked over at Chrystal and said "Well I know that one more person might not make it due to work be he will meet us in Hawaii" I said with a smile on my face

"Hey Cass!" I called enthusiastically, my eyes trailed down her form until they reached her bloodied knees. "Oh dear lord!" I exclaimed, a little over dramatically I will admit. "My poor baby girl!" I gasped and ran over, dropping down to look at her knees. "Tsk... How do you manage to hurt yourself on such a short walk?" I asked and laughed softly, opening the sack and bringing out a box of Hello Kitty bandaids. "Look at what I got." I giggled a pulled one out, pulling the paper out I placed one on a scrape. "All better." I giggled and stood, joining the hug. "At least the four of us are here!" I managed to squeak out into the tight hug.

I look up from Nina and to Cassidy and curse under my breath. She looks scraped up and bruised, as if she got into a fight or something. "Did some chick want revenge on you for stealing her man or something?" I asked , half joking but half serious. I watch as Nina runs up and jumps on her, obviously not noticing her scrapes. I also notice her phone with a huge crack on it, before she puts it away. Chrystal gives her some girly band aids, but I still eye Cassidy. "Are you okay?"

I returned Nina's hug before Chrystal approached me. A sigh of embarrassment escaped my lips, as I focused on keeping my face from becoming as red as my hair. I heard Austin ask if I was okay and I simply addressed them all, "I'm fine guys, really. I'm just a klutz. In all honesty, this isn't as bad as the time I fell down a mountain.." I was being completely serious at that point, but hoped it would lighten the mood. When Chrystal put the bandaids on my knees I face-palmed, 'Oh yes, I'll look so attractive walking down the beach with Hello Kitty knees.' I thought to myself.

I looked over at her cut oh her knees now I feel bad. I looked at her and said "Oh my god Crystal are you okay, what happened to you" I said looking at her and we would all start walking our way to the beach slowly

O pulled back and picked up the minty green backpack, placing the bandaid box in Cass's back pocket O stepped back and frowned. "I'm sure she's okay. At least... I hope she is." I whispered to Austin and shrugged. Taking a step away I blushed softly. "I really hope she is, I mean recently she's been getting hurt a lot. Could it be her parents?" I asked worriedly and frowned out of nervousness. Opening my phone up I hesitantly typed in "Signs of abuse" and held her breath as it loaded. "Cassidy, I know your parents aren't around often, but do they hurt you?" I asked and looked away out of sadness and remorse, following behind the group as they began to walk towards the beach.

"Whoa there Chrystal," My eyes widened at her question, "Absolutely not. I swear I'm just a klutz. I mean seriously, my friend recorded a video of me falling up the stairs." I took slight offense at her question, but I did understand her concern, "If anything Austin's suggestion of a cat fight would be a better explanation. You see, the concrete got really mad at me because I started walking on the road, and so when I went back onto the concrete, it decided to make me trip over absolutely nothing."

I was laughing at one of the text messages I got form one of my friends and then when I looked up I saw our little spot where we hangout by all the time. I seat up my beach towel on the sand and lays down on my tummy and looks throw my emails.

I nodded and turned off my phone and released a sigh, "Thank god." I murmured and laughed softly, shaking her head at the crazy idea. Sorry for that dear. I just kinda over react." I murmured and played with a strand of hair. "I see how you feel though, a few years back I fell out of a tree, ever since then tree houses just haven't liked me because damn do I fall." I giggled, walking a bit faster to catch up to the group and shrugging. I took a seat on a chair under an umbrella, I don't tan, I burn. Pulling my sketchbook out I began a new sketch of the ocea, studying it intently.

I looked over at the screen and instantly froze at the word abuse. "Ugh, yeah. I think you're taking it a little overboard. How about we just focus on the beach?" I said, a little quicker than normal. I turned my head away from the others, not trusting my face. I'm a pretty good liar, but Chrystal just hit kinda close to home for me. I sighed in relief when we reached our little spot. I followed Nina's actions and laid out my beach towel before lying down on the sand. I closed my eyes, trying to focus my mind on my friends and not other things.

I hummed softly, my pencil gliding across the paper as I focused on nothing but the scenery. I raised the book up, comparing the product that I have created compared to the actual item and nodding, adding in some details and expanding upon the page. I was used to this actually, sometimes I would slip into my own little world of art and talent, not focusing on anything but the task that I have started. I finally snapped out of it once Nina said something, "Oh tell me about it. My boss is fucking killing me." I groaned, laughing softly and digging my toes into the sand, placing the pad in my lap.

The way Austin spoke seemed strangely rushed, I noticed how he turned his head away and I frowned. Keeping to myself, I took a seat in the sand, feeling the warm grains against my skin. "So, what exactly are we gonna do at Hawaii?" I was kind of curious as to what we were going to do other than sit around and talk. Of course, I wouldn't mind that. Especially if Austin were around... Er, I mean especially if all of my friends are around.
