Salutations, cadet.
The name is Goodrich, you may also call me Staff Sergeant or Staff Sergeant Goodrich. I am a relatively new member of this site, as you can probably check on my profile, but I am searching for role play partners. As implied by the title of this thread. Now that the obvious is out of the way, I present to you, the about me --
I am a fifty-one year old, cis-gender male from Indonesia. I was raised in the United States, living in many places in North Carolina, Illinois, Colorado, Michigan, and Florida where I currently reside. I hold a job at the local high school where I teach history, so luckily for most of you, I will be following a standard eight period schedule.
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Thursday: 3 PM-11 AM (May change due to faculty meetings.) ; EST
Friday: 3 PM - 3 AM ; EST
Saturday: 9 AM - 1 AM EST
Sunday: 9 AM - 11 AM EST
I have basic rules/requirements:
- I would like someone who is semi-active. At least a reply everyday.
- I accept only literate partners.
- I do not have a preference for romance, but if there must be, I want it to be developed.
On the topic problem with any kind of pairing, but I am best with MxM and MxF.
[*]I role play all genres, but I have a preference for realistic, modern, and futuristic.
[*]I do prefer to RP as a male, but upon request, I am willing to do female as well.
[*]I prefer posts to be at least a 1-5 lines or sentences, however feel free to make it as long as you like, I am capable of doing very detailed role play. One-liners are okay also, as long as you message quickly for a PM style of role play.
[*]I enjoy fandom role plays of all sorts, but if it is a fandom that I am not a part of, I will be creating an original character.
[*]You respect me, I respect you.
The rules are simple enough. If you can follow them, we will be on the long road of becoming regular role play partners! If there is any problems with the role play, please feel free to message me so we can discuss it. If you no longer wish to role play with me, just tell me, I would rather not wait for your message that may never come.
That concludes my introduction and rules, I will go on to some plots I was thinking of.
PLOTS:
I have a few plots playing out in my head, but I thought I might give some examples of what I have come up with.
Life after One of Death-
I am a veteran of the most recent war. The most recent war led to the destruction not only of our country's armed forces, through intense offensives, but of the enemy civilian infrastructure and urban capacity. I had seen the horrors associated with being a soldier during this time and even though my time on the front line was short; I was drafted to the front during the heaviest fighting into the enemy's capital. Now that the war is over and done, and I carry the medals of a hero back home, I have to get accustomed to civilian life all over again. It will never be the same. Going back to a life after one of death...
Empira Eternum-
I, a noble of the great empire of Thelessa, have vanquished the opposition, as ordered by my emperor, and have claimed right to a portion of land that once belonged to the Confederation of Trent. The Confederation has retreated from their castle home and into the marshes that are overlooked by the castle and as I set up in the castle, I become acquainted with a local. To your dismay, our friendship is in jeopardy because I was the invader, and you the victim of invasion. You are the heir to the Confederation of Trent. We go public with our acquaintance and it isn't long before our two parties are celebrating a peace which may last centuries. Until, the order comes from the emperor to eradicate all past members of the Confederation of Trent...
On Duty-
You are a new recruit at the UNSC military base at New Mombasa, a mega-city crawling with people from all walks of life. You entered the military to receive quick pension, since now is the time after the war against the Covenant, and there is an air of relative safety. I am your Staff Sergeant, in charge of every part of your military life and we either befriend or despise each other. Never knowing when it will be one or the other...
