It's late spring 2010. The most popular theme park, Happy Ever After, starts selling tickets to its fans once more. Just as thrilled are the young adults applying to play cartoon royalty… princesses, their matching princes, and infamous villains get ready to give their fans a show. Yet, when a spell is cast by teenage fans as a mere joke, true magic risks to ruin it all. Princesses regain memories of their so-called characters' lives while their princes stay clueless, and villains seem to suspiciously group together. Staff members go missing, odd things keep happening in the park, even the park owner is behaving strangely. Will this summer job have a happy ever after?
+ subplots
Mystery abounds. Do the villains know? Are they plotting nefarious misdoings? Or are they leading a happy modern life, doing better? Will the princesses find love in their princes once more, in each-other's, or between themselves? With bonus events and subplots, no two summers are the same! Summers in this last a certain amount of posts/subplots, then it'll skip to their next summer together. It's up to you what your characters get up to inbetween these mysterious summers at the job. You can add drama or fluff it up -- either way, it'll be a season to remember.
+ general rules
- This is, and will stay, an open RP. This means that if someone playing as, say, Princess Jasmine, is ghosting beyond a certain time limit, the spot will be open again. If someone picks a now-available spot, they can give a different future and even romantic direction to the princess, but must integrate the basic backstory and past events the previous player had given the princess into their roleplay.
- Character choosing is on a first CS made, first served basis.
- This is the list of princesses used: List of Disney Princesses
- Their princes and villains are also up for grab.
- If you pick a princess/prince and no one picked your better half, you can play them as NPCs or write them off as not part of the cast yet, until someone plays them. It is your choice whether you follow your couple's same romance or choose to romance another player's. Romancing another player's character tends to be more entertaining long-term, but you choose. LGBT storylines are awesome, as always.
- Animal sidekicks, played by humans wearing costumes, will randomly show up as NPCs by me, and may bring the plot along as they are also under the spell.

- Apply in the CS thread here.
- You can put a 150x150 icon of your character or castles/etc before replies for aesthetic reasons. No real-life faceclaims, only animated pictures of the cartoon princesses. These can be gifs.
- At least two substantial paragraphs per post. Around 300 words, or something that gives other players something to work with.
- Players must add something to the current scene at play, be it by interacting with another character or furthering the plot in some way.
- No BB codes allowed in the RP thread. It prevents bright/distracting codes, and levels the field. Please put your character's name on the first line of your RP post, and feel free to color dialogue texts. Use italics/bold wisely.
- The Character Sheets will look different than in typical RPs; since most people already know Disney cartoon fairytales, in the CS thread it'll involve more the direction you want to take the character in, why your character initially got the summer job, closest friends / crushes in the cast, and how they feel about their canon's villain nowadays. Remember, this does not mean you get to keep the character if you leave for too long.
- Respond with a certain princess/prince/villain you want to play, and I'll temporary hold the spot for you. I won't hold it forever.
- I'm looking for around 5 people before I know this isn't flopping and we can start ~ this is a chill fairytale RP! Fluffy, angst, dark, etc you can do it all.
- I encourage players PMing each-other to figure out subplots they can do. I will only get more strict with ghosting once the RP survives a few weeks, so go ahead and have fun. Make sure no player is left behind, involve everyone who's recently posted in what's going on.

As long as icons you use are the cartoon version, you can creatively take her in whatever direction you want in the RP.
