Photobucket images still not appearing

So whenever I try and upload a picture from photobucket or rather re-upload them, they will not appear. At first, when I select the raw direct, it works when it shows up in the editor. However, once I actually click "submit" or "edit", it disappears back into nothingness.

What should probably work is the 'direct link' under 'share this image' on the photobucket page. Could be wrong, because the site won't actually work on my computer, but that's what it looks like.

Are you using the 'insert other media > insert an image from URL' thing at the bottom right of the editor? If you are, then I've no idea - can't really help you, as the site won't load on my laptop at all. I think the ads are killing it. x_x

Have you tried simply copying and pasting the picture? That works in this new site... At least it has for me every time I have tried.

The ads are murdering my computer as well, even with adblock.

I've had this problem as well, except one image actually worked, and the other keeps scrambling.

I might switch to another site all together since Photobucket's ads are really annoying but its frustrating to know I have to go back and reapply all of them. Maybe there's supposed to be a patch to fix it? It does show up for me in the editor, just not after that.

I'll look into it though you should not use photobucket for your own storage, they kinda suck. They had issues on the previous site as well.

Some photobucket images have sharing permissions, too, in that you can't insert them into other sites. If some of them are working, it doesn't seem like a problem on our end? Downloading and uploading images seems to work consistently, as do most links.

*Whew*, I was worried. Are there any suggestions for other picture hosting sites? Or can I add the picture straight from my computer desktop?

You can add it straight from your files if you use the 'choose files' link on the right-hand side of the bottom of the text editor.
