Sub-forum Suggestion

I'm not sure if I'm overstepping my bounds as I am new here or if the staff have already considered this or if someone has posted a similar thread. I know this is mainly a roleplay forum, but I as wondering if it woild hurt to have specific sub-forums such as roleplaying games, first person shooter etc, then having sub-forums for them such as popular games like the fallout series for Roleplaying and Battlefield for first person shooter etc. I just think that it would make posting and looking through the video games sections and other sections (Television Shows as a sub-forum for general and sub-forums for that) a lot easier and more organised, and just generally improve the site. Again I apologise if there are said sub-forums (which I believe there aren't) or the matter has already been closed by the staff or simply too much work required for this.

We're primarily focused on roleplaying here, not discussing video games, so there's no plans for such subforums at this time.  In the past, when a particular topic (such as video games) has proven popular enough, we've separated it out into its own section, as it is now.  We've also had situations where we gave a topic its own section and it turned out to not need it after all, so it makes us a little wary of doing all that work unless we're sure it's going to be used extensively enough.

I do not believe that their suggestion was pointing towards the discussion of video games, rather, the roleplaying of video games.  I could see a prefix being made for it under the fandom section, although, I am not sure what the staff members are planning to do with the prefixes at this point.  And, as Kaerri mentioned, there needs to be a larger demand for them to create a completely new section for any kind of content on the site.  A nice suggestion all together, though! =)

Just attempting to get my lay off the land, so to speak.

There is a video game section of RPN. Right here:

I was speaking about sub-forums for that, such as Roleplaying, then popular franchises as sub-forums for that so it would be more organised and easier to navigate. Threads would be easier to locate for specific games and there would be a lot more content for a single game.
