Backstory:

Ghost was born into a world of discipline and purpose—a bite-work kennel, where dogs were trained to be the ultimate working animals. Every day was filled with training, bonding, and working alongside both his canine pack and his human handlers. He loved it—every second of it. He had a home, a job, a family.

Then the fire came.

The flames spread fast, smoke thickening the air, turning the only world he had ever known into a burning hellscape. He ran—not out of fear, but because survival was the only option. He ran through shattered fencing, through the forest, never stopping, never looking back. His pack—his family—was gone.

Alone for the first time in his life, he was forced to become something new. He hunted, he fought, he learned the ways of the wild. But no matter how far he roamed, he could never shake the ache in his chest—the need for a pack.

Along the way, he met others. Some he traveled with for a time, learning, teaching, sharing survival. Some became temporary allies. Some became ghosts of passing memories. But none could fill the void of the pack he lost.

It was that desire—that need to belong again—that led him to the abandoned house. It was a place untouched by humans, safe from the world, hidden yet strong. And in time, alongside his trusted deputy, it became home. Their home.

Now, he leads the Pack, not out of ambition, but out of instinct, duty, and the desperate refusal to lose another family.

Motto:

“Survive. Protect. Endure.”

Ghost is not a dog of many words, but this is the foundation of everything he stands for.

Basics
Character Name:
Agnes
Nickname: N/A
Meaning of Name: Pure and Holy
Gender: Cis-Female
Breed: Afghan Hound

Physical Appearance
Age:
3 (Young Adult Developing, And A Few Months Onward)
Eye Color: Amber
Fur Color: Top coat is a splash of black, turned into a coffee cream heading towards the inner paws and chest.
Type of body/build: Tall, Lithe, Long-Legged—easy to jump lengths, highly quick. Though fur is mostly disheveled due to the wild, it's sleek in rain. With such a lean figure, towering over other creatures can be quick (referring to mainly cats), which can also give a good reason to Agnes' simplified strength.
Distinguishing Marks: N/A
Health issues: Slight Issued Insomnia

Favorites
Food:
Magpie and Hares
Expressions: Raising An Eye Brow, Showing A Smug Look, And The Most Famous; A Blank Face
Daredevil or Cautious: Cautious; A Mediator, Even Though She Can't Keep Herself In Check
How does she spend a rainy day: She doesn't mind it, instead relaxes under it since it glosses her fur.
Habits of Character:

- Out-Pacing Others
- Bunching Muscles Though She's Not Fighting
- Rolling Eyes When Seeing The Injured Daily

Background
Puppyhood Raising & Brief Bio
: Agnes was raised in a household that had two kitties. She was like an older sister to the felines. The owner of all three of them was a botanist, meaning she had plenty access to plants regularly. With daily runs and walks followed by the kittens, Agnes' curiosity reached the point of overwhelment which caused her to wander a bit away from her home. The outside world, at first, was not made for her-particularly because a few humans figured she was a stray. This caused her to being taken away in a vehicle of some sorts. However, she managed to escape-yet she had no sense of direction to correctly find herself back at her owner's place.

From time to time she'd rethink about her choices and remember her cat friends back at home, but it wouldn't heal. That didn't stop her from adjusting. Being alone meant needing to fend for yourself, and with others, it meant taking care of one another. Agnes hadn't been offered to join a pack in a while, until one propped her ear open. She'd be useful-her ideal knowledge of herbs for healing and the sick would clear her a spot.

First Memory: Chasing a butterfly in the gardens of her owner's home, with the two ginger cats she used to be with.
Training: Learned how to hunt and use her nose well, parkour with unsteady objects in her surroundings (very good to finding escape routes in situations), minimal offense practice, and several days to come of sitting down and chewing greens to a pulp (discerning herbs just by looks, and memorizing what things do each. Able to detect poison when familiar with it).

Attitude
Most at ease when:
Not tending to other dogs' wounds, and/or saving a life, and most importantly-feeling the breeze
Ill at ease when: A death watched by her eyes, or failing to save the life; also crowded spaces with other dogs/creatures
Priorities: Not letting others down, hiding her pain in order to be a good model for the younger ones
If granted one wish what would it be: To not have knowledge of herbs (she'd never have to be held with such responsibility then)

How she feels about self: "I can do better than this, but not when others are around. Stressing my paws is all I do-must keep pushing myself! No one will wait for me, but me, and that's what drags me down. I can't heal when others die, I can't fight because I'm not part of the pack like that, and I can't be weak because...no one will look out for me. It's always me. I'm the problem, so I must solve it by helping." She makes herself her own burden; Agnes still holds onto the thread 'we' call life because that's all she can do. if she leaves, things will fall apart.

Personality
Greatest Strength:
Perceptive, High-Scored Jumper, With A Nose That Scents Things Easily; Agnes knows her way with greens
Greatest Weakness: Short-Tempered, Hard To Persuade, With A Pet-Peeve For Restrictions | Agnes is highly cynical of other's actions. She, with insomnia, can be seen with some anxiety attacks/phases and also found tired in some situations

Soft Spot: The Pack Leader (Nobility and the Share Of Responsibility), And Young Puppies and/or Creatures | People who understand her self-pain
Is this soft spot obvious to others: No, unless seen from Ghost's view, she doesn't show it until she's alone with the specific thing softening her. But even then, she shrugs it away from her mind the best she can

Biggest Vulnerability: Leaving Others In Vulnerability, Agnes' Secrets Spilled

Traits
Optimist or Pessimist:
Pessimist—if anything, Agnes doesn't understand the reasoning of things and her own existence.
Why: She's saw too much already happen to understand not all things will go right.
Other: Agnes can be considered a Minimalist and Cynicist too.

Introvert or Extrovert: Introvert Leaning Ambivert—Though the quiet is nice, hearing the faint padding of paws is calming at times.
Why: Being alone can sometimes give Agnes the hint that she has no one that relies on her. Yet, with her anxiety issues, she strays far from the crowds in order to keep her peace.

Drives and Motivation: More To Do, More To Claim Her Time
Talents: Running Just As Fast With Her Amount Of Fur (one of the fastest breeds), Being Patient Under Stress, Spotting Things From Afar
Extremely skilled at: Persuading Others (Not Herself), Able To Work With Delicate Things, Scenting Trails Or Herbs, Scaling Walls, Estimating, Looking Through Other Dogs If They Have Something Up Their Sleeve, Intimidation Through Glares
Extremely unskilled at: Swimming, Trusting Others Quickly, Enduring Loud Noises (Sensitive Ears)

Good characteristics: Confident, Self-Sufficient, Dependable, Honest (When Needed), Eloquent
Character Flaws: Two-Faced, Follows Her Own Rules Sometimes, Not Easy To Impress
Mannerisms: Holds A Steady Gaze Anytime, With Graceful Movements That Shows Her Authority And Confidence
Peculiarities: Drawing In The Ground With Her Claws

Biggest Regret: Getting Too Curious In Her Past
Minor Regrets: Not Being Softer On Others
Darkest Secret: Agnes wants to quit, but she likes the pack she's in too much for their own good. She needs to stay, but with what passion?
Does anyone else know: No, but it may get out-yet she'll fix her problems in time and start to like living wild

Motto:
Quote Line:
"Where mistakes are done, comes renewal. Where a season blooms flowers, another throws them to the cold. There’s a reason for everything — though I’m still figuring out why I’m here."
Statement: You can't stop, so you gotta keep going.

Health issues: none

Favorites
Food:
Mice and squirrels
Expressions: Ears pricked, with a sharp, curious gaze, and constantly twitching nose
Daredevil or Cautious: Errs on the side of caution, but won't back down if the situation calls for it
Habits of Character: She is always on her feet, scanning her surroundings.
How does she spend a rainy day: She performs her duties to the pack. A little rain never hurt anyone (even if she hates it).

Background
Puppyhood raising:
Walker grew up a street dog, spending her early life with her travelling parents. She is their sole-surviving pup.
First Memory: Playing with her father's tail
Training: She was taught to live without the help of humans, only relying on her instincts and resourcefulness.

Attitude
Most at ease when:
She's outside where she can detect potential threats, or when she’s busily performing tasks to help her pack.
Ill at ease when: She is still for too long, or scents strange dogs or pale skins near their home
Priorities: Making sure the pack and their territory are safe
How she feels about self: Very self-assured, knowing perfectly well what she is capable of, and what her boundaries are. Still, she worries sometimes about how well she serves her pack.

Personality
Greatest Strength:
Resourceful and alert, she is rarely caught off guard, always on the lookout for potential danger.
Greatest Weakness: Overthinks, and tries to focus on too much at once, often forgetting she can confide in others.
Soft Spot: Newcomers, particularly those who were abandoned by their owners, or otherwise lack the skills to survive on their own.
Is this soft spot obvious to others: It is once she determines they’re not a threat to her, or her packmates.
Biggest Vulnerability: Fear of losing her newfound home.

Traits
Optimist or Pessimist:
Optimist
Why: Expecting the worst will only consume a dog over time. If she didn’t have hope that something good could come from her struggles, she would have given up a long time ago.
Introvert or Extrovert: Extrovert
Why: There is safety in numbers, and having company is a welcome change from constantly being alone.

Drives and Motivation: Survival and taking care of those close to her
Talents: Hunting/scavenging, guarding, thinking on her feet
Extremely skilled at: Travelling long distances without tiring, navigating different types of terrain, acting quickly in the heat of the moment
Extremely unskilled at: Taking a moment to relax. Talking about the losses she’s experienced. Dealing with puppies, having rarely been around them.

Good characteristics: She is very friendly and open, ready to help where she can, and share her expertise with others who need it.
Character Flaws: Bad at expressing things that trouble her, Sometimes has difficulty relying on others, Occasionally gets stuck in her head with apprehension
Mannerisms: Constantly moving from one task to another, checking in on her packmates, and making sure everyone is doing their part
Peculiarities: She won’t lie down throughout the day, only standing or sitting, and she stamps her forepaws when she’s extremely wound up or eager to get moving.

Biggest Regret: Losing her first and only permanent companion before the pack because they were caught off guard.
Minor Regrets: Not being able to do more to help others on her travels
Darkest Secret: She hates pale-skins with a passion due to past experiences
Does anyone else know: No. She keeps it to herself out of respect for other dogs.

Walker is a born street dog, thrust into a world where survival was based on resourcefulness and the ability to act on one’s instincts. Her mother, like her, was a street dog, and her father was an escaped stray, having experienced life at the hands of negligent and abusive owners who had no idea how to handle the breed they’d chosen for a family companion. Because of his experiences, he’d always taught her to keep her distance from pale-skins, and instead rely on her own wits and abilities.

They were constantly on the move, dodging pale-skins, and regularly having run-ins with other dogs. While some ended in close-calls, others allowed them companions for a short time, and she found she was happiest whenever they had company, even though it rarely lasted. Opportunistic, and careful, they were very adept as loners, but life was never easy, and danger was always lurking.

Her mother was lost to illness in her first winter, and her father was killed in a fight with another loner. Both experiences taught her just how fragile their lifestyle was, however skilled they became. She carried on alone for a long time, utilizing everything they taught her, occasionally joining with others. She was only able to call a few of them friends, and their encounters were always brief, either ending in eventual departure or loss. Many of these were dogs left to fend for themselves by their masters, some being neglected or mistreated to the point that it was already too late for them to live much longer. Seeing them lose their lives to the cruelty of humans, her distrust and growing sense of disdain intensified.

It finally devolved into hatred when she lost the only dog she cared for, possibly deeper than the pack she has now. They matched her own drive, and while she kept expecting them to leave, they continued on with her, to the point she couldn't imagine a life without them. She thought she had finally found a permanent companion, but it ended all too soon. They took shelter in an area she thought was safe, but their presence had been noticed. A group of humans caught them by surprise, trying to capture them and take them away. Her companion fought, telling her to run, which she did in a panic, expecting them to follow soon after. When she reached safety, however, her friend never came, and upon returning to the area, they and the people had vanished. She never saw them again.

It took everything not to linger, and even more to continue. She kept going for the hope that someday, she might feel that security again, despite her wavering belief that it even existed. It was beginning to look like things would continue this way forever, until she met Ghost. She wasn't sure of pack life at first, having always lived as a traveler, but she slowly grew to love her new home and family, realizing she finally had a place that was hers, where dogs could help one another survive, and live safely and happily, away from humans. She's determined not to lose it, whatever they might face.

Motto
"None of us are alone anymore. We can make it through anything because we're working together."

Basics
Character Name: Albatross
Nickname: Squeak
Meaning of Name: A Large Wading Bird
Gender: Cis-Female
Role: Scout
Breed: Pomeranian

Physical Appearance
Age:
2 Years Old With A High-Pitched Voice
Eye Color: Coffee Brown
Fur Color: White
Type of body/build: Small, Compact, and Can Easily Run Or Hide
Distinguishing Marks: Albatross' right forepaw has a speckled marking
Health issues: N/A

Favorites
Food:
Cheese and Voles
Expressions: Tongue Hanging Out, A Begging Look With Tail Curled
Daredevil or Cautious: Daredevil—Albatross, as the energetic canine, will try to have a chance at everything. Yet, if duty calls, she will lean back.
Habits of Character:

-
Bouncing Around
- Eavesdropping
- Lagging In The Front Or Back

How does she spend a rainy day: Albatross would most likely be trying to lap up the free water, splashing in puddles, and finally settling down to take it all in. However, she hates it when her fur gets soggy, so she'll try to be under some cover after a while.

Background
Puppyhood Raising & Brief Bio:
Albatross was born a street dog, not so used to the blaring noises on the roads even in present time. Her father had ended up leaving her mother, in order to keep in touch with his 'pack.' Albatross' mother didn't seem to be apart of the pack though, and had remained defiant while raising her. As a pup, she was the normally cheerful kind. However, when her mother had passed away, her world dimmed. Enough to the point that she realized that's what everyone experiences.

Moving on, Albatross tries to keep up with others-giving more comedic experiences to passing dogs and other creatures-because she knows something has happened to them. If nothing did happen, that figure's life hadn't been lived long enough. Then came the sounds of a group formation. Albatross was eager, but the switched to hesitant. The other canines were bigger, and possibly bulkier, and to make it worse-it reminded her of how her father had left her mother. She decided to wait, but did soon come to commit her role as a scout in the pack.

First Memory: Scrabbling on top of a squirrel she found, but then eventually losing it because it ran away. To this day, she finds trees scary, since it homes these very animals that she had lost too-also because they loom over her in an exceptional way.
Training: Learned how to control pace and train her stubby legs, how to hide her fur color in the darkest areas when sneaking around, and how to discreetly warn others incase something is up, without gaining more attention.

Attitude
Most at ease when: Not being threatened, or having anything to do (as a chore)
Ill at ease when: Knows something she isn't supposed to, Being Away From A Family Figure Completely
Priorities: Seeing or understanding things earlier than too late
If granted one wish what would it be: To Be Bigger, so she'd be able to help more

How she feels about self: "I am my own-self, as no one else can control my actions expect myself. It is my duty to move, think, hear, or see-not you, my leader, or anyone at all. If you tell me to do something, I have the choice to listen or ignore it-but the main idea is that no matter what, no one can be obedient unless you count the fact that they're obedient to themselves. I do not stand alone, for I am with others, yet I have free-will do do anything my mind wants me to do. I can be small, but my personality is very big; it's not what is from the outside, but rather, what I give in the inside." She can define who she is clearly; Albatross understands when she needs to put boundaries, and just how confident she would be against anything.

Personality
Greatest Strength:
Acute Hearing and Stealth—Albatross is proud for how she was formed, because it gives her many good traits. If she can't be physically strong, then it'll have to come from what she does.
Greatest Weakness: Highly Sensitive and Insecure—If ever put on the spot, Albatross will be self-aware of how difficult being small is. She is jumpy and/or frightened by even the littlest of sounds, so being teased would worsen her state.

Soft Spot: Cities, as they remind her and give her the nostalgic feeling of her past.
Is this soft spot obvious to others: Very clearly, if the others venture towards the high-populated areas.

Biggest Vulnerability: Albatross has a very snappy mouth, meaning she can indirectly provoke someone when not realizing she did. This can cause a mighty dispute, and in the end, there's a higher weighed chance she'd lose the argument because she's young. Adding on, she tends to be very fidgety and wants things to do-unless she has something to cover time like hunting. This can lead on to be 'extra helpful', or 'too helpful', because she can say yes to almost anything so long she can do it. Learning obedience is quite hard, especially for a pup like her.

Traits
Optimist or Pessimist:
Optimist—you probably never saw such a cheery pup as Albatross before.
Why: Seeing the brighter side on things always kept Albatross moving. If she was more pessimistic, there would be no lively sun in the pack.

Introvert or Extrovert: Extrovert—Albatross most likely wants attention drawn to her, so why wouldn't she have some charisma?
Why: When asking everyone if they need help, she has no fear in approaching people. In fact, it might be the other way around due to how skimpy she can be, but that's all in good haste! Her main goal is to achieve a young pup friend, though her chances have lessened.

Drives and Motivation: Lots to gain, but more to lose! ; Speaking of losing her pack-mates
Talents: Albatross is able to skid through very thing places, and her skills on finding prey exceed many
Extremely skilled at: Swimming, Holding Breath, and having great timing
Extremely unskilled at: Following Everything That Is Told To Her, Containing Energy, Wading Through Mud

Good characteristics: Albatross knows her way around motivating others, Deceiving others though she may look innocent, and keeping her ears still with her despite the many, many remarks she says behind her pack-mates backs.
Character Flaws: She is heavily gullible, unless the answer is quite in the open, as well as arrogant/prideful to herself. She'll stick to herself when she's angry, but will come rushing back when something new interests her.

Mannerisms: Proves to have a 'grand' entrance at all times, is very loud but can chill down only in mournful times.
Peculiarities: Twitching Her Tail, and most of the time when she's sitting down, she's rolling over or not being on the floor at all.

Biggest Regret: Leaving her mother to play, and then finding her dead. Maybe Albatross could've prevented it.
Minor Regrets: Giving herself the reputation she has in the pack now—she could've been way different, but now there was no chance of changing.
Darkest Secret: Albatross had made Walker her ace idol; looking up to the other dog.
Does anyone else know: No, but most likely is to be seen through Albatross' admiring eyes (which is only show sometimes).

Motto:
Quote Line:
"To be loved, you must love. I show it every day, but sometimes I just can't see the same from others. That won't stop me! I'm the brightest sun that will shine down on all canines—just you wait. If I can't be on the good side, then no bad side should even exist. I stand by my own paws alongside others, and I can still recognize those who hold a puffed chest and a mighty prance."

Basics

Character Name
: Trinket
Nickname: Stig
Meaning of Name: A decorative item of little value
Breed: Albino Doberman
Physical Appearance: Scrawny, Docked tail, Tripod (mutilated front right limb)
Age: 5 months
Eye Color: Light blue
Fur Color: Cream/White
Health issues: Photosensitivity, Partially deaf, Allergies

Background
Trinket was raised by Pale-skins who ultimately wanted nothing to do with him, He wasn't all aware of this and believed life with the Pale-skins was paradise. Yummy, free food(when they even bothered to feed him), His bed, (a towel he might have used frequently when his pale-skins forgot to let him outside) and Games! Where his pale-skin would throw a ball really far and hide for hours on end as Trinket went to find him. The only downside was having a ball thrown in the middle of the road one day, where of course Trinket raced to retrieve, unaware of the car coming right at him. When waking up he found himself missing his right forearm, not that he really cares..besides, he could still chase after balls without it! His pale-skin on the other hand cared. A lot. As Trinket was already giving him a run for his money, and now with a missing leg the dog was practically useless, he wouldn't be able to sell him as he had planned. This angered the pale-skin who neglected the pup more so than usual..
Upon that following week one more game was in order, it would be one of Trinket's worst days in his life, which had already barely begun. It was late in the evening when the pale-skin of Trinket's had taken him on the longest car ride, ever. When the ride had ended the pale-skin grabbed a tail wagging nub Trinket and his most favorite toy. He'd placed the young pup down his face grim as he threw that ball farther than he'd ever done before."Go on and get it!" At those words, an all too happy Trinket glad to finally have the attention of his pale-skin gladly went after it.. Although there was one problem with this, his pale-skin had thrown the ball way out in a jungle of overgrown weeds which made it all the more difficult for the young pup to finish the game. As he continued his trek across the vast terrain he suddenly heard a rather familiar sound of an engine being started, unmistakably the one he was brought here in. Forgetting the ball for a brief moment he'd run to go and investigate getting extremely lost along the way, when he was able to find where he last saw his pale-skin to his surprise he was gone.. After much consideration Trinket came up with a simple reasoning for this, he had upset his pale-skin by not finishing their game. He spent days searching for the ball in hopes of finding it and making his owner proud, so much so that he'd return for him..that never did happen to his dismay but til this day Trinket does his best to make up for his mistake, trying his hardest to find whatever it may be that could bring his pale-skin back to him.

Habits of Character:
- Tensing muscles and preparing to fight even when there's no real danger
- Constantly pinned back ears
- Instinctively raising hackles and snarling if a dog gets too close to her
- Anxious nose twitch

BACKGROUND
Puppyhood Raising & Brief Bio
: Nessie was born and raised into an underground dogfighting ring. She had one brother, Loch, who was her only real source of companionship growing up. Even her mother was bitter about the situation and was cold and distant from her pups. It was Nessie and Loch against the world, it seemed. Nessie was the only dog who kept her ears (her master liked that they were tan against her all white head), even though they were an easy target in the fighting ring. This led to her habit of constantly keeping them pinned back, flat against her neck and safely away from the snapping jaws of any enemies. Puppyhood was not a fun experience for Nessie, but then again, she never knew any different. From a young age, her life consisted of many hours locked away in a dingy cage alongside numerous other dogs, or training sessions where she was taught that life was full of pain and brutality, her only escape being the ability to fight and survive. Although her human master was occasionally kind and rewarding with her, he was far more often rough, angry, and loud. Beatings weren't uncommon and pain was just a part of daily life. Nessie was a reluctant fighter, but she had fighting genes and a sharp instinct to survive, making her an unfortunately skilled fighter. With Loch as the exception, Nessie learned to avoid any emotional bonds with other dogs. They always left in the end. Death was also not uncommon. Those who weren't killed in the ring were often sold or traded at high prices. Besides, there wasn't much time to interact with other dogs outside of the ring. Loch was in the cage next to her, and that was the only other soul she learned she could rely on.
However, it was not to last. Although Loch was an equally skilled fighter, there's always a meaner dog to face in the world. Loch was killed in the fights and it nearly broke Nessie. Despite her depression, she pressed on through the everyday trauma of being a fighting dog.
Not too long after the death of her only companion and brother, proving herself a worthy fighter, her master had Nessie bred and she gave birth to a litter of three puppies. Despite the horrible circumstances, being a mother was the new saving grace in Nessie's life. She'd never been around puppies before, so felt herself to be an awkward and nervous mother, but loved her pups more than anything, perhaps even more than Loch. They filled the void in her heart and she vowed to be the best mother she could be. This also was not to last. As soon as the pups were old enough to be weened from Nessie's milk, they were taken from her, just as she had been taken from her own mother at a premature age. Whether they were sold or trained and kept in cages away from her was never known. If the death of Loch hadn't been enough to break Nessie, than this was. Although she'd never liked humans, she now began to hate them. She was terrified of them and hated them deep in her bones. She became an even more vicious fighter and difficult for her master to handle due to her aggression.
One day, there was a raid on the facility. A group of anti-dogfighting officers had discovered the underground ring and were making arrests and rescuing the many dogs caged there. When they got to Nessie, she was wound up, confused with what was going on and terrified. In a state of panicked terror, she managed to rip free from what she viewed as her new captors and made her frantic escape from the facility. She had never been outside once in her life until that point and all of the sights, smells, and sounds was overwhelming. For weeks she lived in a state of terror and anxiety, unsure how to fend for herself and uneducated in what anything was. Still, a fighter is a fighter, and she managed to survive just as she always had.
She lived alone, depressed and fearful, her deeply-coded aggression her only coping method, for nearly a year until she found Chive. Nessie would have preferred being solo, nobody could hurt her if they didn't exist, but she couldn't resist the mothering nature inside of her. She missed her pups more than life itself. Chive was the replacement she needed. She immediately took him in and felt the hollowed-out place in her heart began to fill slightly with his company. Still, she didn't trust herself to be able to care for him on her own. She'd been on the streets long enough to know that dogs did their best when in packs. And although the thought of relying on others and being in a group didn't appeal to Nessie, her love for Chive made her succumb. She sought out a suitable pack, watching from a distance until she felt she had enough confirmation that they would be a good place for her and Chive to reside. That way, Chive would be protected and safe, and could have fellow puppies to play with. Hence she and Chive joined the pack together.

First Memory: Being yelled at and kicked by her master (she can't remember what for) while her mother stood by watching, emotionless
Training: Learned how to fight extremely well, albeit in a dogfighting ring setting. She is exceptionally strong, agile, and vicious when needed. She's still learning to improve on her survival skills in the outdoor world, particularly in hunting and tracking.

ATTITUDE
Most at ease when:
She's never really at ease, even in her sleep her muscle's stay tensed, one ear cocked, nose twitching. But, she would be most at ease when she has an eye on Chive and is ensured that he is happy and healthy. She's most comfortable in an open place where she can be very aware of her surroundings all around her.
Ill at ease when: She's not with Chive. He's her main focus and source of comfort. She's generally on edge at all times, but it's particularly high when she has to be away from Chive for long periods of time.
Priorities: Chive. She's dedicated every ounce of her being to protecting him.
If granted one wish what would it be: She tries not to wish for anything. She's all too aware of how quickly things can be taken from her. But, if she were to dare to wish, it would probably be to have her pups back or at least the knowledge that they're alive and well.

How she feels about self: Nessie is a fairly selfless dog, although it might not seem that way due to her aggressive and seemingly self-protective nature. She's just a survivalist. In reality, she'd give her life away easily for anyone she cares about. Due to her upbringing, it's hard for her to really have a strong sense of self. To her, everything is just a matter of survival. She's done what she's had to do to survive. Is she proud of what she's done? No. Her memories haunt her. Her past haunts her. But, she did what she had to do. She tries not to think about it too much. She avoids facing herself as much as possible.

PERSONALITY
Greatest Strength:
Physical brute strength and ability to fight, vigilant, quick reflexes, not afraid to die
Greatest Weakness: Avoidant, anxious, deeply troubled by her past, abandonment issues, struggles to open up or be vulnerable, keeps to herself

Soft Spot: Puppies, especially Chive. She adores pups and has a strong motherly instinct
Is this soft spot obvious to others: Yes, anyone can see the way she longingly watches the pups playing with each other

Biggest Vulnerability: Her fear of losing Chive, or anyone else who might get close to her

TRAITS
Optimist or Pessimist:
Pessimist
Why: She's been through too much in this lifetime to believe in anything better. It's safer for her to be prepared for the worst at all times. She doesn't dare hope anymore.
Other: N/A

Introvert or Extrovert: Introvert
Why: Being alone is safe. If you're not close to anyone, they can't leave you or hurt you.

Drives and Motivation: Chive, survival, protecting herself and her loved ones
Talents: Does being able to easily kill another dog count as a talent? Well, she's got that down. Fighting in general, she's very skilled at. Surprisingly, on the other paw, she is very maternal and very skilled with nurturing and tending to pups.
Extremely skilled at: Fighting, guarding, protecting, noticing little things and perceiving the tiniest of changes, obeying orders
Extremely unskilled at: Socializing, swimming, not lashing out at others

Good characteristics: Perceptive, strong, intuitive, brave, protective
Character Flaws: Reserved, aggressive, quick to fight, avoidant
Mannerisms: Staying silent but noticing everything going on, Compulsively checking on Chive, including waking up multiple times in the night in a state of panic just to assure herself he's still there. Despite being a fighter, she is more of a flight personality. If she can sneak away from a confrontation or argument without being noticed, she definitely will.
Peculiarities: Her constantly pinned back ears and anxious nose twitch. Also will sometimes be found staring off into the distance blankly, with only she knows what horrors replaying in her mind.

Biggest Regret: Not being able to save her pups
Minor Regrets: All the dogs she killed and injured in the ring. She knows she did it out of survival, but still. She has her regrets
Darkest Secret: There are some things that Nessie did to survive that she'll take with her to her death. Some things are too horrible to be put into words.
Does anyone else know: No, save for the spectators and the victims

MOTTO:
"You recognize a fighter when you see one, you recognize a survivor when you see one."

Daredevil or Cautious: Cautious
How does she spend a rainy day: He loves water, but rain can be scary, especially if lightning and thunder is involved. Snow on the other hand, he's all in. For now, rainy days are mostly spent nervously under the protection of Nessie.
Habits of Character:
- Cocking head to the side when curious about something
- Sticking out the tip of his tongue when focused
- A little too comfortable with rolling over and exposing his vulnerable belly, much to Nessie's horror. In reality, he just wants belly scratches.
- Easily spooked and equally easily excited
- That tail do be wagging though

BACKGROUND
Puppyhood Raising & Brief Bio
: Chive was born into a very different lifestyle than the one offered to Nessie. He was born into a wealthy Pale-skin family, with both a loving mother and father (both pedigree), and three sisters to keep him company. He was milkfed, handled often by loving caretakers, and spent most of his days frolicking around the grassy gardens of his mansion home, playing with his sisters and numerous supply of doggy toys, chasing butterflies, and being smothered in human affection and praise.
Life was good. Until one day when the family took the pups on an excursion. This was nothing out of the ordinary, the pups had been taken a few times to various parks and picnic spots, allowed to explore and play under close supervision. At this dog park, however, curious Chive had found a hole under the fence, just big enough to squeeze through. And he'd done exactly that. With so many dogs running around, and his human owners chatting with other pale-faces, nobody noticed his disappearance. It was fun for only a few minutes to frolic beyond the bounds of the park, until poor milkfed Chive realized he was hopelessly lost. He caught sight of a couple stray dogs picking at some roadkill they'd drug into an alley and he tried to befriend them in his usual puppy way, with wagging tale and bright smiles, but these street dogs saw him as an easy target. After a few sharp bites and tosses alerted him to the fact that these dogs weren't playing, Chive was chased into an overturned crate, where he barely huddled out of reach of the dogs. They tormented him with mockery, name-calling, and nips as the closest they could reach him.
That was when Nessie came into his life. She was his savior. She'd seen the pup get chased into the crate and had tried to ignore it, to go about her usual self-protective day, but she just couldn't. He was just a puppy, after all. She'd intervened, and even though it was two-against-one, the two scraggly strays stood no chance against the aptly trained bully that was Nessie. She'd been awkward at first, but Chive's happy-go-plucky attitude quickly broke down their barrier as he was quick to trust her. He tried to explain his situation to Nessie as best he could, but she was from too different a lifestyle to be able to help him return to his family. Instead, she took him under her wing and began to care for him as her own. Although Chive misses his birth family greatly, he's done his best to adapt to his situation and new way of life. He loves Nessie dearly and idolizes her. He'd barely been weaned from his own mother when he and Nessie met, so he was still young enough to be able to bond with her in a mother-and-son way.

First Memory: Licking peanut butter off a spoon with one of his sisters
Training: No training, unless you count being very well handled by humans

ATTITUDE
Most at ease when:
Cuddling up with other dogs, especially Nessie. He likes being around others. He also gains a lot of comfort from chewing on things, anything really.
Ill at ease when: Alone. Not enough survival skills to be okay on his own, and he knows it. Also, terrified of loud of noises, so storms are particularly frightening.
Priorities: Finding things to chew on and food
If granted one wish what would it be: Peanut butter. Why doesn't it exist in the wild!?

How he feels about self: Chive is not very self-aware yet and has a lot more self-discovery to do, but he does have a sense of lack about himself. He knows that he is relatively unskilled and out of place amongst many of the other street dogs, and does feel less than in a lot of ways. Although energetic and playful, he does lack much real confidence about himself.

PERSONALITY
Greatest Strength:
Incredible sense of smell (would make a very good tracker in the future) and can eat an alarming amount of food (although he does get tummyaches sometimes). He hasn't developed any serious strengths just yet, but is great at cheering others up and brightening moods.
Greatest Weakness: Easily spooked (particularly by loud noises and things he doesn't understand), too trusting of others, too submissive and doesn't stand up for himself

Soft Spot: Lumi.
Is this soft spot obvious to others: Yes, anyone with eyes can see that he's got a crush on her.

Biggest Vulnerability: Not very knowledgeable and has basically zero street smarts. Without Nessie and the other dogs protection, Chive would be toast.

TRAITS
Optimist or Pessimist:
Optimist
Why: For Chive, life has been good. He hasn't been given enough reason to believe that the world isn't full of fun and happiness. However, he is skeptical after his first rude encounter with wild dogs and is pretty fearful and nervous about trying new things and can be pretty pessimistic in the fact that he feels like everything is bigger and more dangerous than him.
Other: N/A

Introvert or Extrovert: Extrovert
Why: Although surprisingly shy at times (particularly with Lumi), Chive thrives on other dogs being around. He's terrified of being alone and really craves and needs consistent social interaction.

Drives and Motivation: Food is certainly his biggest motivator, but so is fun and the pursuit of happiness. Lumi could also very well be a driving factor in some of the future decisions he makes.
Talents: Is being cute a talent? Can he use his pedigree genetics here? No? Well, so far, Chive hasn't found very many talents. But, he is very sweet, kind, obedient, and willing to learn, so surely his talents and strengths will only increase as time goes on.
Extremely skilled at: Cheering others up, playing, being able to track things with his nose, chewing on and destroying things, eating copious amounts of food. He's also decent at swimming and will get better with age.
Extremely unskilled at: Most things relating to actually being able to survive. Especially fighting. There isn't an aggressive bone in his body. Yet.

Good characteristics: Happy-go-lucky, cheerful, just happy to be involved, willing to please and serve
Character Flaws: Easily manipulated, quick to give up, low self-confidence, nervous and fearful of trying new things
Mannerisms: Trying to play with everyone, wagging his tail almost out of habit, rolling around in dirt and getting filthy, trying to eat and chew on things that he simply should not be.
Peculiarities: Loves bugs, especially butterflies. Will spend hours trying to play with them or watching them.

Biggest Regret: Although he's adapting to his new life, Chive does regret going under the fence that one pivotal day and losing his entire posh life and family. It might be one of the reasons why he's so cautious about trying new things now.
Minor Regrets: Not eating more kibble and treats at his posh house when he had the chance. The food out here isn't nearly as good. And seriously, what's a pup gotta do for some peanut butter out here???
Darkest Secret: Not really dark, but his crush on Lumi is his biggest secret. Although, he doesn't do the best job at keeping it hidden despite his best efforts.
Does anyone else know: No, but dogs have eyes, don't they?

MOTTO:
"There is nothing peanut butter and a spoon can't fix."

But by then, he had learned only to fend for himself. His mother had never been allowed to teach him—he didn’t even know how to eat real food.
Desperate and untrained, Sonic snapped at humans and other dogs. The family, unable to handle him, gave up after a few months and dumped him.
From there, he wandered—home after home, taken in only to be kicked out again for his behavior. Eventually, he stopped expecting kindness.

First Memory: Being abandoned outside a pet store, passed over again and again.

Training: Only what he taught himself. He’s never lost a fight. His size gives him an edge, and his broken tooth is sharp and digs deep. Once he decides something is prey, he latches on and doesn’t let go.

Attitude & Values
Most at ease when: Lying in the sun—inside or outside, he loves to sunbathe.
Ill at ease when: Rarely unsettled, but being yelled at and chased by "pale-skins" (humans) puts him on edge.
Priorities: Survive and be his own dog.
How he feels about himself: Confident, even arrogant. He knows he was rejected and doesn’t care.
If granted one wish, what would it be?: Deep down, a part of him wishes a family had found him and given him a chance.

Personality Traits
Greatest Strength: Sheer, unstoppable will—if he wants something, he takes it, no hesitation.
Greatest Weakness: Recklessness—charges headfirst without thinking, often making things worse.
Soft Spot: Only for those he feels he owes a debt to, but even then, it’s more about duty than affection.
Is this soft spot obvious?: No, he hides it behind arrogance and aggression.
Biggest Vulnerability: Overconfidence—he believes he’s invincible until reality proves otherwise.

Traits:
- Optimist or Pessimist?: Optimist—thinks he’s untouchable and that everything will go his way.
- Introvert or Extrovert?: Extrovert—loud, brash, and thrives on chaos and attention.
- Drives & Motivation: Acts purely on desire—power, dominance, amusement, and survival. Fights because he enjoys it. However, deep down, he craves structure—a leader strong enough to command his respect.

Talents:
- Skilled at: Fighting, intimidation, survival, reading weaknesses, cracking jokes, and pushing through pain.
- Unskilled at: Restraint, following orders (unless from someone he respects), patience, and careful planning.

Character Flaws
- Impulsive—charges into situations without thinking.
- Doesn’t understand (or care about) emotional boundaries.
- Too aggressive—makes others wary.
- Won’t listen unless he respects you.
- Doesn’t acknowledge mistakes until it’s too late.

Mannerisms & Peculiarities
- Loud and physical—bumps into others, shoves playfully, throws himself onto the ground dramatically.
- Laughs after fights, even when hurt.
- Eats like he’s still starving, even when well-fed.
- Rarely sleeps in one place for too long.
- Steals food, even when he doesn’t need it—just to prove he can.
- Leans against others when resting, even if he doesn’t like them much.

Regrets & Secrets
Biggest Regret: Never having a real home or a place where he belonged.
Minor Regrets:
- Being too rude, which results in being left alone.
- Scaring off potential allies by pushing too hard.
- Letting fights go too far when they didn’t have to.

Darkest Secret:
Despite acting like he doesn’t need anyone, he secretly wants structure, a leader, and even a family. The reason he fights so much? He’s testing others, looking for someone strong enough to handle him.

Does anyone else know?: No. Sonic would never admit it. Maybe a few older, wiser dogs suspect, but if they called him out, he’d laugh in their face.
