Other Story concept; opinions?

Recently, I was watching documentaries on the several crises happening around the world, and it just made me so emotional, from sad to angry to terrified. It was a lot, and I just suddenly came up with a writing idea. What if there was a story about a mysterious hero who traveled the world and fixed problems, big to small, eventually inspiring this global group of people called “Mary Sues”? It’d be in a short story format, each group member having unique skills but all still human, just traveling the world and trying to do what the hero does. They’d eventually meet the hero, slowly unraveling the mystery on who this mysterious superhero is.

Idk, I thought it sounded cool. I’m not sure if it’d be any good, I was just curious on what others might think about the concept?

Also, I probably should’ve made this an option, but should I make an rp based on this? Idk how that would go, but it’d certainly be different than anything I’ve done before.

Doesn't really peak my interest, but then again, if I'm doing superheroes, I'm doing dark and gritty. Like batman. I like batman.
