Fandom Stop the G:KND

I am already working on the CS, but I might change it later on if some balance is needed.
 
Can't wait for the RP to start. This is very exciting for me, it's been years since I did an RP on forums.

Sorry everybody! The roleplay was supposed to start today, but I unfortunately got cornered with duties and couldn't get on to write the intros. We can start tomorrow, hopefully everyone has gotten their characters in. If you haven't, please try to do that as soon as possible and get accepted.

Also, this is just a position offer, would anybody like to play the leader of the G:KND? We currently don't have one listed, but we'll need one.
 
The leader should be shrouded in mystery and inconfrontable by the players, lest the end of the leader signify the end of the roleplay. I'd say a high-ranking commander or an admiral would be great.

hm. Fair enough.
 
I'm unsure how to feel as well. Some of the characters signed up don't seem to fit into the fandom and it ruins the immersion and the KND feel.

While disappointing to hear, I won't stop the flow of opinions. I'm always open to suggestions in order to make this seem better.
 
  1. Strict policing on character creation. They must fit the fandom. They must appear as if they were straight from the show or comics themselves. The only characters that seem to fit the fandom that are posted are: Cira Briden (@The Servant), Malthus Nyström (@OrenjiGatsu), Callie Dahlin (@Tasia ), and Lee Henderson (@Enn ). The rest appear to be edgemasters from anime or were poorly constructed with no background detail.
  2. Disregard the KND vs. G:KND as the centerpiece of the roleplay and instead focus on conflict inside the factions themselves, not the conflict of them clashing.
  3. Obtain a perfect balance of KND and G:KND characters by making it mandatory for every single person to have a character in both factions. If they want 2 KND characters, they must make 2 G:KND characters.
  4. Limit stat points. Nobody is stopping anyone from "maxing out their stats". There are currently 5 slots for 4 stats. So it should make sense for there to be either 8 stat points or 12 stat points. So if a character is beefy and hard to put down, it should make sense for the speed and stealth to suffer from it.
  5. Retain the KND feel. Mass killing doesn't need to be allowed. Mass spankings, however, are different.

1. Not everyone is going to want to look as if they were from the show. Different people like different styles you know, not just one. The rest of the number 1 issues I will adress in private at a later time for reasons that do not need to be explained at the moment.

5. Not really allowing MASS killing, the killing thing is only for a drama aspect. Now, I suppose it shouldn't be directed at the kids, granted.
 
Well if character creation isn't going to be policed I suppose I'm with @The Servant. It was a good try though, but it doesn't feel like KND right now, especially with these kinds of characters being accepted. If you want, you could see my take on running a Cartoon Network themed RP.

oh my god..fine then. Since it seems like you know what should happen, you can be in charge of character creation, telling people what's wrong or right. Really, I'm just giving a shot here. I don't want this ending before it starts, so let's see if you can help.
 
I think you made some amazing points Enn, but maybe we shouldn't just leave. Crota seems to be very open about the ideas you just presented to him, so how about we first try to see if it's for us or not?
 
I guess I could try. I mean hell, back in my day I was GM all the time. The least I could do is offer suggestions. But Crota doesn't seem too happy about it at all.

Excuse my anger, but I'm pissed for a very, VERY different reason. It's involving my personal life, this is just a side problem that I'm hoping to fix. Seriously though, maybe you could be head of sign up? I'm guessing that my sign up style is wrong, and it would do some good to have help. Sorry about that last thing coming off wrong, but my anger normally transfers with my. My apologies.
 
I take it there's no way to assign control to me for signups? I'd like to message everyone to revise their characters, and take down double posts and acceptance posts. (The first post will be an "accepted" master list, completed with links.)

I don't think so, but I can take down all the stuff you need to. I'll see if there is anyway.


 
@Enn there's no way I can do it right now after talking to the mods about it. Just tell me what to do and I'll carry it out for you.
 
Well we should PM everyone telling them that the character sheet will be redone completely so they will have to redo their characters.


I'll make a new character sheet and PM it to you.
