Hello! This is an rp based in the world of Isekai Hell! Feel free to reach out!
This Rp will focus on the dynamics between the newly appointed Marshal Aria RavenSong and the promising council member Amanda Uasal
Stonewall
In Stonewall, things were like any other day, the town had begun their tasks early in the morning. Peoples businesses opened, the guards had made their shifts and began patrols.
The new Baroness had truly begun to make some progress. At least, that’s what Aria thought as she sat in her quarters on a wooden chair with her feet up on the small office table.
She was daydreaming and also thinking very solemnly on her fathers words. Statements and remarks of what she truly was destined to be. The ultimate weapon. His words echoed in her mind. The confident glint in his eyes that never wavered was frustrating. He revealed strength when she revealed passion. Pessimism against courage. They were indeed, truly different. But perhaps they were more alike than she thought.
Silently she planned another trip to Yemaya. Sighing as she recalled her fathers challenge. “If you defeat her, I’ll accept you as you are, and that will be the end of it.” His voice echoing.
The portal just had to be found, it made her anxious to think this other Aria was equally if not stronger than her. An urge to train would swell in her stomach as she closed her eyes for calm.
She had to face this other ego. This shadow in the mirror. A “darker self” as her brother Leo put it. The water in the kettle had then began to whistle as the sun slowly peeked through the window and began to kiss the delicate skin on her cheek.
Her bed was made, it was hard to say if she even slept in it that night. She felt very much alive, the warrior in her was ecstatic to finally meet a worthy opponent. Even if she wouldn’t allow herself to revel and indulge in such a feeling. It’s what she felt as her destiny, to overcome any other warrior and finally bring this world to a golden age!
Aria shook her head a bit as she got up and made herself a cup of a tea. Opening the cupboard and pulling the herbs out of a small glass container. Her mithril feet would interpret the temperature as a feeling in her body. She shivered a bit as the cold of the wooden boards gave her the chills up her spine making her perk up a bit. Taking the cup in her hand, Aria took a few sips, picked up her sword and walked out of her room.
Once out in the courtyard, her men saluted. “Marshal. Sir.”
“At ease, cadet.” She replied, “Come along.” The guardsman began to walk along side her.
“Anything to report?” She said stirring her cup before taking a bigger sip, occasionally eyeing the guard.
“No sir, nothing but the occasional property land mark disputes which the local judge has been keeping all parties happy. That and the issuing of town council. It seems the people here want to be more directly involved in their local policies.”
“As it should be..” Aria nodded, “..we are here to serve and it’s our duty to give everyone a voice.” She smiled a bit before taking another sip. “Right. I need you to send this letter to council Amanda.” She held out a small scroll with a red seal. The guardsman hesitated. “I’d be happy to Marshal, but council Amanda arrived sometime this morning. She’s returned from a festivity.” Arias eyebrows rose a bit. “Festivity? Hm. Very well..” the marshal said as she took the scroll back. “..I’ll deliver it myself.”
“Yes, sir! I believe she’s inspecting the walls today.”
“Appreciated.”
The cadet nodded.
Aria then made her way to the walls, some greeted others gave her strange looks and the occasional displeased gesture. It was good that these people were organizing. How do you run a city without knowing it’s people. She appreciated their efforts, and was also glad they had their own ideas.
After being saluted once more by a pair of guards escorting Amanda, Aria approached their council woman.
“Marshal.” The guards muttered, saluting.
Aria nodded and rose her hand, “I appreciate your service. Take an early break.”
"Yes sir, thank you sir.” they said in unison as their chain mail and plate armor rattled back to the barracks.
“Lady Amanda, it’s quite nice to see you.” She bowed her head a bit but quickly noticed she was a bit distracted by something other than the walls, “I assume everything went well? I got word of your recent assignment.” She continued as she rested her gaze on her. She was, actually genuinely glad she was there. She couldn’t really explain why, but, there was something rather pleasant about Amanda’s presence.
