Yukina had stopped tailing the group for the moment; given that the congregation seemed to have broken off to pursue more information. Not wanting to delay her job any further, she decided to go ahead for now. They were interested in a wood elf so she overheard though whether it's the same elf that had given her the job or not is unknown to her. At this time in the day, she estimated a convoy would be heading out so Yukina had decided to loiter near the gates, waiting for a caravan or something she could sneak up on to get to the fallen island.

His eyes widening as his friend was struck down, the beastkin moved quickly in order to release a discharge of electricity, however his attempt was thwarted when the metal blade was sent spiralling to the ground. "BRAAACK!! RAAAAAAAAAAA" The bird trumpeted as he was grappled from behind, blue feathers flew everywhere as he struggled vigorously. Azal was able to pierce the flesh of the guard's arms around his neck briefly with his beak, however he wasn't able to break any bones before he was slammed into the ground painfully. Coughing and spluttering, in the dust, Azal stopped struggling briefly to regain his energy. Sir Kipstid, and Sir Duncan, was it? He'd make sure to remember this. Twisting his head around, he looked towards Kote, hoping that the bard was alright for now. It would be tragic if their adventures were to simply end here. But he knew that wouldn't happen, Azal wasn't going to let this be the end of their story, for it had barely begun.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" The beastkin opened his maw wide and shrieked at a frequency painful to the human ear, flopping and struggling as the guards carried him away, more and more blue feathers flying around, getting stuck in the guard's armour and hair. Continuing to shriek and bite whenever a guard got too close, the bird absolutely refused to make the experience pleasant for them. NeonFlow NeonFlow

Needless to say, none around Azal were happy. When cleps returned with the horse and cart Azal and Kote were secured in the back, a few swift punches were delivered to the bird in the hopes of stopping that shriek.

The cart travels toward Dunwel castle.

Farr and Udgirr who were now hurrying a bit more then before could now hear the distant noise of a distressed animal.
Why does that make me think of big bird.
“Udgirr, If our new friends have been apprehended for some wrong doing we may have lost them.. if it’s a accident of some sort we may be able to help them.”

The young man was speaking for the sake of it really. He had no clue as to what happened. However if this is considered a matter of race relations because of Azal... king Leo might be deciding their fate.
Farr had only been in the same room with king Leo twice. Once as a audience member, the second time is more incriminating.
Both situations Farr could only come to the conclusion that Leo was a fair and straightforward man in most aspects of life. Despite a well known rumour that Leo hates the elves, he upholds all manner of the treaties and is unbiased in matters of the people and city.
Farr and Udgirr made their way toward pigskin, however they heard Azal and Kote being taken away by horse and cart.
Funnier however was seeing Weglas follow the cart. Accompanied by a.. beastkin.

Oh well. Barrius thought. Guess I'll have to wing it. Barrius snickered a bit at his little pun before remembering that he was with somebody. He cleared his throat in an attempt to pretend like what had just happened hadn't happened.

"Right then." He said in the most dignified voice he could managed. "Just one more question. Is there anybody I'll be working with or will I be on my own here?"

NeonFlow NeonFlow
Weglas held his ears and stepped back when the captured bird they were following made noise. Waiting for the guards to take the arrested further before speaking again.
“You’re alone to start with, once you finish your job however myself and.. and a decent...” for the first time he seemed nervous a bit.

“A decent sized squad or platoon of useful people I have employed will meet you on the island. There I can direct you all accordingly.”

Weglas’s confidence returned at the end before disappearing again for a moment. Grabbing Barrius in what was supposed to be a casual way, speaking quickly.
“See that short man and the tall green one? The man and I know each other... be ready to defend me.”
A human man with a cloak hiding most of his body and a hobgoblin could be seen opposite coming toward them.

Farr pointed out the tree elf to Udgirr “that’s who we are looking for.”

adventurous climbing parties...
idiot bandits with the bright idea of forcing skyracers to carry them up at knife point...
A traveling cult leader and twenty of his followers all dressed in grey or navy robes. The leader chants drivel such as the false angels being the cause of the nightspawn...

It was obvious no real plan exists to reach chlokoka apart from having wings or using magic.
However something important was heard at the gate. A hunting party traveled into Dunwel, carting a unique gryphon, dead mind you. But different from the norm.

Bragging of seeing whole herds that must have been local to the crashed island.
“...it shook me off but I was able to ride it for more then a moment...”

Barrius placed a hand on his dagger discreetly. He always wore a cloak so it wasn't hard to hide that he was doing it. Then he listened. The sight of a bat beastkin was subpar at best and practically blind at worst. Barrius was one of the luckier ones. He was extremely nearsighted. Luckily, like regular bats, bat beastkin had amazing hearing to compensate. Which meant that they could hear a great deal more than most people. Which meant that Barrius could hear a great deal more than most people.

Focusing on a single person or two was hard in a crowded city. Sound bounced off of so many things it was like having water poured at high speed directly next to your ear. But Barrius could. Just like you can focus on a person next to you, Barrius can focus on people at a far distance. Not too far. But far. So he heard the utterance of "That's who we're looking for." He gripped his weapon even tighter.

(Hope I'm not breaking any rules by having Barrius hear this stuff. In my defence: He's a bat. Bat's can hear stuff.)

Barrius might have heard some fumbling from Weglas, as he reached for a pouch but opted instead for a dagger. “You are my bodyguard ok?” The tree elf demanded in a worry. “Just be ready to do as I say..”

As Udgirr and Farr walked towards the elf they searched for Farr gave the Hobgoblin some advice. “Weglas is a shifty sort. Knows a lot about poison and strange concoctions, don’t drink or eat anything he offers. If you stand tall and look strong I’ll talk to him”

as the two approach weglas Farr takes point on the conversation.
“Weglas, I’ve heard from the rats you’re looking for people.” Farr spoke at the elf but was quickly looking at Barrius. Bat. That’s a damn bat walking upright.
“You must have a plan then, something worth rallying the kids..”

Weglas made a click with his tongue before speaking. “I do. But I’m only in need of men who can hold their own, follow orders.”
Weglas stepped back putting Barrius infront of him “if We are going to work again Hebit, I’m the boss. You have to listen... my word and safety above all understand?”

Farr sighed “if you have some way onto that fallen island, me and my friend will follow your lead”
A hand was offered in sign of agreement, weglas shook the man’s hand but looked agitated somewhat. However a smile formed on the tree elf’s face as he shook farrs hand, and sheathed his dagger.

“I’d have killed you If you tried to stab me” Farr muttered to the elf.

“Ok then.” Weglas pulled a piece of paper from his pants “on this list is everything I need. Barrius, this is Farr Hebit and his friend. You three will acquire what is on the list. Meet me outside the main gate when you have done so” slapping the paper into Farr’s hand before leaving the beastkin in a huff.

Farr looked at the list...
Two warp stones.
Ergot flowers, (at least three full heads with petals.)

it took the man a second but it clicked almost instantly.
someone who can fly using warp stones would make reaching Chlokoka easy!
Im not doing his poison shopping though.

Barrius waited until Weglas was out of sight before speaking. He held out his hand.

"Looks like we'll be working together." He said. "I'm Barrius. And you are?"

He tried to look not-suspicious. If this man wanted to kill him, he could easily kill him. Barrius didn't like dying. He'd never tried it before but he was sure he wouldn't like it. Who would?

Word of their companions apprehended for an unexplained reason was unsettling. What illegal reason did they act to be caught by the guards? Before Udgirr asks Farr if they should follow them, it appears Farr has recognized the tree elf they were looking for. Give or take a few details, this person looks very much like what Udgirr envisioned an elf to be. Beside him, however, was what Udgirr assumes to be his bodyguard. The first to impress upon the hobgoblin was the, presuming they're of such race, beastkin's remarkably large ears that, if accounted for his tallness, easily exceeds Udgirr's height. They wore a large grey cloak, so really the only part Udgirr can see was their head. Udgirr was not much cultured to assume if this means they were suspicious, so such thoughts did not pass his mind.

Weglas gives Farr a list, to which Udgirr attempts to read over his shoulder. However, whilst obviously a fetch for the listed objects, the hobgoblin wasn't familiar with the items at all. Farr's peering expression suggests that they are quite possibly thinking on how to obtain the listed items, however, so at least they are in a good direction. Weglas leave's them with his friend, Barrius, and the beastkin initiates a greeting towards Farr. Udgirr might as well introduce himself as well.

"Call me Udgirr, Sir Barrius. If you do not mind me asking, what has happened to the bard and the beastkin? I heard of their apprehension through rumors, if you believe in them as well. They happen to be our companions towards Chlokoka and it would be of a disaster if they were imprisoned here. Do not mind me if you do not know." Udgirr asks, not thinking that putting so much information in the air exposes them and their intent.

"I've got no idea." Barrius said, plainly. "Weglas had told me to wait in a room and then there was a loud sort of explosion noise from downstairs. I come downstairs and see those two," He pointed to the prison wagon. "Being arrested." Barrius didn't really know much about the law. He stole things for hells sake. So he didn't have the foggiest idea why the two were arrested.

With weglas leaving the dirty work to the help, Barrius introduced himself quickly and offered no light on the situation, fitting for a bat but not so much for the traveling party.

“As I’m sure the elf said, I’m Farr.” The man stated putting the list away in a pocket.
“I wouldn’t recommend us sneaking about the castle hoping to hear of our friends. I think we should try looking for these warp stones”
Farrs description of warp stones was hopefully adequate enough as they traveled toward the sprawling marketplace.

“Average size, takes two hands to carry one carefully.
blue usually.. or clear. They come in pairs that look similar.
Probably expensive.”

the markets had many stalls of various sorts, food clothes and general goods.
A stall or more likely a shop that specialises in magic items would be what to look for.
“We can look around the stalls... I might know a place that will have it.” Farr didn’t know Barrius, but he had a idea about Udgirr. Between us three I don’t see being able to afford these stones...

Speaking quietly and maybe trying to justify his suggestion to the group “we probably are going to have to steal these, i don’t have the gold on me. Doubt weglas did either”

The guards escorting the two thugs could barely keep from stabbing the bird beast. Once past the castle gates a runner was sent to alert the king of the beastkin, king Leo being a strong enforcer of race relations and fair judgement. Was soon set to meet the arrested with the guards who brought them in.

Dunwel castle looked magnificent and all those other words. Kote being unconscious wouldn’t have cared and Azal being tied up was probably in no mood to gawk. The two men were dragged into the guards barracks to enter a special area for situations like this.

King Leo was waiting on the outside by the time Azal was forced into the cell with Kote being dumped beside him. The guards spoke out of earshot with the king for at least ten minutes before Leo came to the cell door.

His thick orange beard hiding a distinguished battle hardened face, his voice is authority in every definition. His eyes strong and wise but cast no harsh judgment.
“My name is Leo Werth. Im sorry to speak to you through a cage, I just want to make sure everyone is calm. I’d like to talk to you about what happened as well as heal your friends injury. Are you comfortable with me entering this cell?”

Barrius cracked a smug bat smile at this. They needed to steal something. He was good at stealing. It all worked out.

"You've found yourself accompanied with the right beastkin, then." He whispered back. "Been stealing since day one."

This particular object should be no problem. Of course, they needed to steal two of them and it took two hands to carry one. Barrius wasn't entirely sure he trusted these people to steal these things. Not that they'd run off with them, but that they'd inevitably screw somethint up.

"aaaaa-AAAAAA-AAAAAAAAAA" The bird screeched louder and louder as he was struck by his captors, only ever stopping to bite at a nearby arm, when a loud CLACK noise could be heard, signifying a powerful enough beak to easily snap bones. Clearly, Azal wasn't a fan of being handled in this manner, stuck strictly in "fight" mode even while being brought into the castle. After all, he had the energy to spare, and it wasn't going to run out any time soon. However he was given a chance to catch his breath when he was tossed in a cell. Fluffing up his feathers and preening himself briefly, he then leaned over and pecked at Kote's head and face, seemingly unable to wake him up. At which point he immediately started to bite at the cell bars, pecking and gnawing ravenously.

That was, until he was caught in the act by an older man, who after introducing himself, brought Azal to full attention, adjusting himself to speak to the king. "Ah, why of course! Tis not a problem at all my lord!" The beastkin bowed his head and hopped backwards to make room for the king to enter. "There's no harm done after all! Except.. to my friend here, unfortunately. But as I always say! The law must be infallible to be effective! And to be infallible it must be indiscriminate! Which of course, would lead to the occasional misunderstanding, such as what happened here today with my acquaintance." He looked down at the unconscious human with concern. Azal let out a sigh, thinking to himself for a moment. "And sir Leo, I hope not to be stepping over any boundaries in saying this, but in my experience, the law is most efficient when those who carry it out do not hold certain prejudices, against certain groups of people.. or to quote Sir Kipstid-" Azal cleared his throat, before proceeding to deliver a series of quotes he recalled from the altercation, carefully placed together in a vocalisation matching Duncan's voice exactly. "We saw him - and - his bird friend - he - was obviously threatening - he's a-bird" He repeated. "Just something to keep in mind, my lord."

Having heard his guards side of the story,
(unfortunately Duncan kipsted was not present to give his recount of events...)
Leo nodded carefully in agreement as he took in all of Azal’s words. As the king was Unlocking the cell three guards entered the room to keep watch, Leo didn’t seem worried as he stepped into the cell. Kneeling down to check over Kote, finding the wound on his head.

Azal mimicking Duncan brought surprise to the king, not that his stoic demeanour changed at all. The guards spoke of Duncan being unnecessarily cruel to the boy, not the bird.

“Your companion here is somewhat famous friend, a court mage in my castle he is not, I believe his name is Kote. Well known as a bard thanks to the high elves music competition”

Leo’s hand began to glow bright as he ran his fingers over Kotes wound.
“He should awaken soon” unless the poor child has fell into a deep sleep.

Leo grabbed the bars of the cell to pull himself up.
“I’ll let you know something about me my avian friend... I despise most elves, and I despise all who would lie to me.”
Leo made sure Azal’s eyes met his. “I was told your friend used Fire magic to try intimidate a restaurant into giving the two of you a elf...
Threats of burning and dismembering at the hands of you two if this Elf wasn’t present.”

Leo cleared his throat before asking... “I want to know, why was finding this elf so important?
My immediate thoughts would be that all beastkin hate the elves, many would choose to hurt or belittle a elf if given the chance. Revenge for what has been done to their ancestors and homes...
But I don’t feel that hatred from you.”

Azal blinked in disbelief as the bard was healed with such ease, without a single incantation or even some kind of talisman. The magic he had learned and been exposed to was all based around rituals and artifacts, so much so that he felt almost powerless without his equipment, though he could still feel his staff on his back, he wouldn't be able to fight very hard without his blade. "Aha, as expected of our bard. I cannot thank you enough for the aid!" He looked up at the king, meeting his eyes sternly. Clearly this king wouldn't be fooled by any cheap trickery, however anyone who aired their prejudices out in such a way, was doing nothing more than exposing their vulnerabilities.

"Dismembering? Who, me? An exaggeration, clearly! Forgive me my lord, but the two of us were only taking the first steps on our valiant quest, before we were swept up in this misunderstanding! Fire magic is such a volatile thing, accidents are bound to happen.." He trailed off, glancing down at the bard, wondering at which point he'd recover. The king seemed a reasonable man, hopefully the two of them could walk out of this clean, if Azal played his cards right.

"Ahah! Hatred? Why, not at all, my lord. While, I can certainly understand the need for having prejudices, and holding grudges.. it all comes down to fear, doesn't it? The Elves have shown themselves to be dangerous, so we should fear them, yes? For our own survival?" The bird stopped and scratched his chin, pulling out a loose feather. "However, an adventurer like myself has no room in his heart for such things!" He said while flicking away the large blue feather, clearing his throat briefly. "For we are on a quest to the land in the sky, Chlokoka! We only sought out that Elf, Weglas, as we heard he possessed some method of travel, that we could perhaps make use of.."

((Sorry for not replying, thought that y'all would continue whether or not I replied since it's just a simple confirmation on my part.))

They reach a place of various items that would help them fulfill Weglas' requirements to finally travel towards Chlokoka. Farr had a good idea on where to acquire the listed items, so he leads the hobgoblin and the large-eared beastkin to a much more mystical space of the marketplace. Here and there, orbs of various hues and gems of various rarities adorn the fronts of the stalls. There were much more sophisticated people roaming this part of the marketplace, as well as those who you can tell have an affinity for the arcane arts from a mile way.

"... do whatever it is you see fit, Sir Farr. I'm not keen on stealing, but if you think so..." Udgirr rergretably agrees. He watches the stalls some more, trying not to appear suspicious as the group speaks among themselves. He wasn't the most dexterious, so he assumes Farr was to be doing the thievery. He and probably Farr are not aware of Barrius' capabilities, so Udgirr can't possibly imagine the beastkin for much, only that Weglas entrusted him with them.

The conversation between king Leo and Azal.
King Leo stood in relative silence as the bird explained how he felt on the touchy subject of elves, a murmur in agreement here and there before the aged man snapped his fingers and gave a laugh.

“I’m sorry, you’ll have to forgive me. I was somewhat surprised upon meeting you and curious as to the previous Altercation I’ve yet to ask your name.”

"Oh! I'm known as Azal, Azal Nara! A pleasure to make your acquaintance, my lord."

Leo nodded and repeated the name. “Azal Nara... yes it’s a pleasure to meet, I just wish it was in better circumstances. Either way, the world works in mysterious ways.”

Leo picked up Kote to lay him across the bench no one sat on before asking more questions...

“Are their humans in your homeland? I can only guess your from across the seas.. What can you tell me of your people?”

Azal was quick and seemingly eager to answer.
Humans? Why yes! I did know of two or three small human villages scattered about the jungle, there was one in particular by a river, that our tribe had a successful trading relationship with! Ahh yes, we were a simple people. Music! Magic! Friendship! There's nothing quite like it, my lord. However, I had no choice but to follow my adventurer's heart, and to take up this journey. This world calls to me!"

Leo spoke with Azal for a small while about these humans, but knew he had to get back to the matter at hand.
“What compelled you to say this bard was my magician? Did he deceive you in some way or was it a ploy to justify hunting for that elf?”

"Ahah! You must forgive me quick tongue, my lord. It's both a blessing and curse! When I saw the danger my friend had found himself in, I instinctively latched onto the first lie that came to mind, that would possibly put a stop to any needless violence!"

Hmmm a quick tongue indeed, he sounded just like Duncan before...
Can you mimick any sound? Will I need to worry about our present conversation later?” Leo gave a hearty chuckle to go along with his nervous joke.

“Hmm, why yes! To an extent! As long as my brain and ears are both at least somewhat focused, I should be able to record most sounds for later use! Hahah! Not to worry my lord! I can only do so much to alter the truth of things, the voices will speak for themselves!"

Leo gave another nod building up Azal’s character in his head. A big fellow, seemingly quick to be civil compared to that noise and gnawing sight from before... Suppose any would be stressed being arrested. Leo’s eyes focus on Azal searching for a twitch or sign of dishonesty.
He seems honest... much harder to tell though compared to human face.

“This Weglas Eedit you have been searching for, he is rumoured to be connected to.. let’s just say dishonourable sort. What do you know about this elf?”

"Mmm, Weglas Eedit, was it? The way people spoke about him, he didn't seem like the most noble sort, if you don't mind me saying! Tis a shame we weren't able to make contact with him.. these wings will do me no good in ascending to such a place!"

Chlokoka being brought up, not a surprise for it to be a talking point. Leo was curious to see or at least send someone there, having met with the skyrace he spoke of what the skyracers chief had told him about.
“Small Red monsters that drain your life,
flying leopards, gryphons... unheard of plants and a temple that supposedly no one enters.”

Leo’s tone changed somewhat as he shifted the conversation once more.
“Have you ever killed a human, dwarf or elf?”

"Killed? Hm.. fought a dwarf, I have not.. though I have fought many a human scoundrel on the roads! Killed none.. elves, on the other hand, I must admit that our tribe has had the occasional altercation with those folk, some being so bloodthirsty, that I had no choice but to put an end to their lives, as opposed to putting the lives of my tribe at risk."

Leo nodded sternly “hmm.” He turned to the guards standing in the room and whistling over cleps who was carrying Azal’s blade, Leo spoke in a hushed tone before he took the blade through the bars and waited for cleps and the other guards to leave the room.

Holding Azal’s sword carefully to give it a lookover as he spoke.

“You mentioned a traveling party, hoping to work with the elf we discussed...
I have a proposal Azal, I release you from this cell to join your party in reaching chlokoka. If the elf indeed has a way up there, take it... and murder Weglas Eedit on the island. Doing me and this kingdom a service.”

“To kill someone? I'm more than happy to bring dangerous individuals to justice, though I would find it difficult to murder for something such as vengeance.. but as a just king, i'm sure you have the people's best interests at heart. While the thrill of adventure calls to me, to do well for the kingdom would honor me even more. You may ask anything of me, my lord."

“While Weglas is not currently wanted for any crimes I’ve heard of evidence that links him and the Eedit main family to human trafficking, there’s a lot politically speaking that is involved somewhat. What’s important is I shall reward you accordingly for discretely completing this task for me”

Leo punctuated his deal by offering Azal’s sword back to him.

Farr couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty incriminating one such as Udgirr. However Barrius and he made for attention grabbing company.
Stealing warp stones from a stall with this many people about will only end badly...
“Suppose we need to find some first...” Farr sounded annoyed more then anything.
Farr took the lead in walking into the busier parts of the stalls. He asked questions to the various stall owners when a chance was available. Unfortunately not much luck.

And old woman selling different kinds of crystals and scrolls directed the three to search for a specific store.
“Gleams and goods” a store that’s outside the shanty district owned by a woman named Faem. Apparently she’s a bit of a local genius when it comes to alchemy and chemical ingredients.
“She has to have all the best stones, crystals, herbs, fairy bits, minerals.....” the old lady listed of all the things a alchemist might need to justify why warp stones would be there.

Taking the information that was useful Farr left as the woman continued to list off items, Waiting til they had left the General buzz of the crowd to speak to Barrius.
“I’m thinking if this store has some stones we steal them tonight, if not we can look around tomorrow... we might have better luck in the market.”

Barrius nodded. He eas starting to lose his head in the crowd of people. So much noise. It was not a pleasant experience at all. Nevertheless he persisted and followed.

(Sorry I'm so busy. I really wish I wasn't)

"Human trafficking, you say? What a nasty business.. well.." Azal pondered, before leaning forward and clamping his beak down on the sword, accepting it from the king. "I'll trust in your judgement that it needs to be done, in order to put an end to such sufferings." The bird spoke with the weapon in his mouth, his voice muffled by the inconvenience, making it even more difficult to understand him than usual. Struggling to balance himself, wobbling, he jumped back up onto his two feet and turned around. "Though, it will be much easier to complete my task without these bindings, my lord." (Sorry for short post, don't know if I missed Azal being uncuffed, so I just assumed he was still bound)

(I forgot to say he takes them off didn’t I. God dammit.)

For the first time in a long while King Leo looked a bit embarrassed.
He didn’t say anything as he removed Azal’s handcuffs and binding.

Clearing his throat he spoke again. “Sorry, I shall have you escorted from the castle grounds. It helps if those who would spy know little of our interaction.”

Leo looked to the bard who was still unconscious. SoraHikari SoraHikari
“I shall remain here and see if a bit more of my magic can help your friend. After some answers I’ll be sure to inform him of your whereabouts.”

Stephen had heard Farr's announcement while in the Ragged Dragon. He'd been looking to join the party to find Chlokoka, but they'd left fairly quickly while he was still seated. He'd been walking through the streets of Dunwel and he was near the markets when something caught his eye. There they are now. He strode over to where the group was, going directly to Farr.

"My name is Stephen Freeling. I have journeyed far from the valley of Lenovo in the west. I'd like to join your party and go find Chlokoka."

"Ahh, many thanks to you, my lord!" Azal sighed and wiggled his fingers, before spitting his sword back into his hand, spinning it around on his finger and slipping it into the loop on his belt. "Why of course!" He said, making his way out of the cell, looking back at the still-unconscious Kote. It would be unfortunate if that bard wouldn't be able to accompany him on this journey, but at least it comforted him to know that this king wasn't some monstrous tyrant, and that his fate wouldn't be behind bars, or worse. "I'm sure you'll take excellent care of the fiery lad, just needs a bit more rest, i'm certain of it." He laughed to himself as he approached the guards who were to lead him out of the castle. "I'll not return to this kingdom until the deed is done, I swear it, my lord!" NeonFlow NeonFlow

Farr led the two into the market place to scout around for the required items, but soon they had to go out. Apparently, such an item of high value would simply be too much of a difficulty to just snatch from a stall, so they'll have to wait for a better moment to acquire one. Meanwhile, as Farr talks to Barrius, someone else has arrived. They were a blue robed fellow that has apparently heard of the group from the tavern, and wants to join them to journey to Chlokoka. Maybe introducing them to their plans now was somewhat criminal, but Udgirr thought that the extra help would be useful. Still, he was not the leader.

"Greetings, Sirr Stephen Freeling. Speak to Farr, that particular fellow over there, as he is the leader of this group. I'm a newcomer myself." Udgirr greets the possible new member, and points out to Stephen of the one the hobgoblin follows, the man who was currently speaking to the beastkin.

Now the the sky islands were starting to descend to the ground, people were able to see sky racers as they were, another race. Meanwhile, the case of the Lux Clan, they didn't seem to bother at all since they were used to explore this vast continent, all except one, the young Albus, which was one of the potential heirs to be the leader of the clan. Albus looked down at the earth as a curious feeling just came out of nowhere, how would humans interact? How beastkin interact? He heard stories from many others, but it was enough to feed his wild imagination, yet he really wanted to see the world with his own eyes. Ever since he was young, Albus was trained in the arts of magic and fighting.

He was the best so far, being able to use light magic at such a young age and even casting his own spell without help. He was the only Lux who used muskets and flintlocks in conjunction with his magic thanks to the fact that he creates them based on light magic, and even other weapons as well, a terrifying powerhouse or in this case weaponry, was in the hands of the young Albus and he knew how to use it efficiently which was even more scary. But, because of that, because of how rough he trained, he lost the many opportunities of leaving the island. But how if... How if he just jumped and see the world with his eyes? He had wings, he was an excellent flyer, he could always come back without them noticing, and so, he did.

With a smirk he said "Let me fly" and released his wings out of the cloak he wore to then literally jump off the island and spin like a feathery tornado, with his wings covering his body as he descended to his first adventure, meet someone in the city as his island literally was right above it. After a few seconds passed, he opened his wings as parachute and landed safely on a blind spot for most, behind a tavern and a strange building named "Jail" for some reason. Albus was really excited to be down, but he tried to dissimulate with a neutral face, even though inside was turning into a hurricane of emotions.

Farr turned to the man, no young man who approached them.
Not phased by the animal or goblin.. that’s a good sign.
Sword at his hip... why is everyone taller then me? Fuck it.

“aye Freeling call me Farr, if you can use that sword, follow orders and make good choices we should all get along fine.”
Pointing to Udgirr and Barrius in turn, “tall green is Udgirr and this one is Barrius. We’re looking for stones... just walk with us maybe you have gold or a better idea.”

As the four walked toward the shanty district where the old lady directed, Farr gave a brief explanation. “We need warp stones, then Barrius there can fly one up to that island. No need to climb for us without that privilege of flight you know”

Farr had never heard of the shop gleams and goods.
Was it goods and greens? No gleams and goods...
while the four may have been looking for signs it may be had to spot.

With the four of them asking whoever would give them the time or help, they were eventually told of a alchemist underground. “She has a shop near them old pipes to the ocean...”
Literally a hole in the wall with a wooden door, the decaying stone steps led to a filthy dock and a single door that led to their supposed location.

Farr coughed twice. “Right, uh Freeling and Udgirr. How about you two go in and ask about warp stones, try and haggle them down... if you can pay for it that’s great! Main thing though is to look around and take note of whatever you can... who works there, how many people, is there any magic runes anywhere or scorch marks about? Whatever you can tell you know?”

looking between the three he started his reasons. “If me and the bat here are gonna steal them we shouldn’t be walking about inside the day before you know?”

The groups supposed new location was somewhat far, to a place titled as Gleams and Goods, but their location was not something Udgirr could say the same about. A peculiar location that would be difficult to have a prospering customer base. Probably, but the hobgoblin was not aware of econimic beneficial strategies, so he payed no more mind.

"I agree to your plan, and hopefully this stone should be of such expensiveness. Let us go, Sir Stephen." Udgirr says to Farr's plan, and beckons his new ally to come with to enter the shop.

As Udgirr and Freeling enter the shop both are hit with a distinct smell of... something. It was almost enough to hurt the eyes. The store was lit up with various crystals on stands in the corners and along shelves made across the support beams.

A old lady wearing her hair in messy white braids stood at the counter drinking a unmarked potion. Behind her are various potions and what one can guess are ingredients. Dried Mushrooms in a bowl, jars of moss, jars of various dusts and powders.

“Wel-ack ack... hmm hm.. welcome welcome” she beckons the two closer with what seemed like a dying voice.
placing a empty bottle to the side. Her eyes shot open alert and the sort of smile one gains after years of customer service appears. Apart from that cough anyway.
“How could I help?”

To the right is a door, presumably A storeroom. She could live here however... would explain the health she has.

Guards who see the skyrace drop into the city were kinda on edge. They truly could be a devastating force if they had more numbers. Still did they pay the entrance fee? Do they have to?... I have so many questions.

Farr spotted a skyracer fly past as he and Barrius waited. “So.. does the sun bother you?”
I can do better than that, come on Farr Hebit...
“you a lockpick man or more smash and grab?”
Huh, guess I’m always bad at small talk.
