Sticky First Posts

Lady Warlock

Anime RN

Hi there to whoever reads this!

I think it would be useful for it to be an option to make the first post in a thread sticky so that it always appears as the first post even if you go to the second, third, forth and so on pages of posts in this thread. This would be useful for roleplays as the first thread could contain a summary of the current situation and the person who runs it could update it as needed and the players wouldn't always have to flip back to page one to access it.

Just a thought...

You can bookmark individual posts, if that helps. I've got my character sheets bookmarked so I don't have to scroll down through the CS thread to find them every time.

This is more meant to be a suggestion to make it easier for players to access important information within a thread and for the GM to ensure that the players can and actually do see it. I don't think its fair for a GM to require players to keep updated on a first post of say an IC thread by bookmarking it all the time, but I do think it would be handy if it could be readily available.

You'll find that there is an "Important Posts" feature in the roleplaying forums. Clicking this allows you to mark it as important, and then in the top right area of the thread if you hover over "Important Posts" a list should appear.

Is that feature available for HPs yet? That's where I do most (all at the moment, actually) of my rping and I've never seen such a thing.
