Just like in News, is there a way to stick the first post across pages in an RP thread? It could be a good replacement of tabs system.

I feel like if this was an option, it wouldn't make things very easy for people to find. Everyone would be able to see the stickied threads. One moment your thread it the top sticky, the next moment it's two pages back and it's still being pushed behind.
I suggest, for the time being, to ask your roleplay partners to bookmark all of the roleplay related threads.

Ah, the News Updates seems very much like a blog system. It would be interesting to see how that would work for the roleplays.
