Descriptions of magic:

Light Magic has to do with stars and their fire, and the manipulation of the light around the character. 


Dark Magic has to do with the manipulation of the dark matter around the being, often creating mini black holes or shadows to conceal happenings.


Planet Magic has to do with the manipulation of the climate of the planet that the user is on. This allows them to create storms, and elemental magics depending on the climate of that planet. For example, if the planet was a warmer planet, fireballs/firestorms would be at the ready.

Your character has been transported from their home planet (see LORE), and has been recruited by the Society of Protection (SoP, for short), to help save the universe from the clutches of Selene, the moon goddess, who is using her captivating powers to control the power creatures of the Universe. She uses them to reign terror and control on innocent planets. You have been brought to Aleteria, otherwise known as the Crystal city, to help.

Personality: Dakota is quiet leader, who leads by her commanding presence. She deals with problems by examining them, then facing them head-on. She represents a mentally strong leader, encouraging her followers and providing a safe path towards most victories. She is not one to take chances, and would rather find a solid solution that promises her team's security. She may be a pain to be around because of her stubborn nature, not moving like a rock in the stream. She cannot resist a challenge, which only makes her stronger every time she triumphs it. However, Dakota does have a sense of right and wrong, and will not charge into a terrible situation if it risks her life or other lives. She is often merciless, giving next to no second chances. She could be seen as cold-hearted, and that assumption would most likely be correct. However, she is selfless and thoughtful when it comes to her team. It is rare when she cracks a smile or a joke, but when she does, you know that she considers you close. 


History: Dakota grew up on A-72X with her father, a snake animi. As this sort of animi, he had the ability to shift into any snake, and contained poison under his nails. Dakota inherited these abilities. She was raised with honor, as her father had connections with the werewolves on the planet. Dakota was raised around men, and grew up strong and independent. By the time Selene came around to her moon, Dakota's father was taken for his abilities. Dakota has not seen him since, 13 years ago. She stayed on the planet with those who were not taken, and then found her way to SoP, to rescue her father. She was trained for her abilities as an animi, and became a well-rounded leader. She is now waiting for her squadron to assemble, by means of StarQuest.


Weakness: Dakota's weakness is her determination, as it will take her to extreme lengths to reach her goals.

History:


A woman by the name of Kyoto Uzasaku was dying of cancer so she signed up for a experiment to prove her body more useful. She underwent about 30 surgeries to become Kryonic Operational Intelligence, also known as K. O. I. Her had lost all memories of her previous life, and now works to protect others, as instructed by her creators.


Weakness:


Because she was programmed, K. O. I. lost all recollections of empathy, making it hard to understand the feelings of people. This flaw makes her harder on people, not understanding that she may be emotionally hurting them. Also, when hit on the back of the neck, she will experience a delay in reaction time.


Fears:


She was programmed and has nothing to fear. 


Other:


K. O. I. was given more than metal parts. She has been enhanced to be faster, stronger, and jump higher than the normal person. She also has jets to propel herself through the sky as a way to fly.

Xander thinks before he shoots, but he is a straight shooter, in more than one way. He has an easy time relating to humansx and loves the species. Despite that, he does not share their world view. He is a machine, and he serves one purpose; to deliver justice. He also stresses doing things "by the book", but often has no clarification for what "the book" is


The XC program was an operation to create an Army of Androids that could replace humans in war. However, when it was revealed the Androids could think, act, and where sentient, the program was cancelled and the Androids where freed. XC-78 was a defect. He was... unable, to create his own personality. He wandered streets, homeless, lost, before he found an old movie someone had thrown out, and decided "Why not?" And he downloaded it into his system, and downloaded the main characters personality as well. It was an old fashioned Film Noir, and he became Detective Xander Cord, Private Investigator. Because of this upload, he holds no memory of his time prior to downloading the movie, believing the characters history to be his. He was chosen for his quick thinking ability.


He can't swim, and, as his personality files where uploaded from an old fashioned movie, generally has a negative view of technology, despite being technology himself. Because of this, he is reluctant to use tech that would be extremely useful to him


He is especially terrified of the idea that he wasn't always Xander Cord. References to the XC program can quite literally shock him. He is also an isolophobe. As illustrated in Issac Asimov's "Catch that Rabbit", he cannot function properly alone, becoming easily overwhelmed

A few years into the group he fell in love with his fellow officer, a tough lady named Joyce. They often volunteered to work hand in hand when doing missions. However their lovestory was cut short when they were sent to help an uncharted alien world be on the map. He lost his love if his life and his unborn daughter. After that he vowed never to fall in love again as long as he is active. 


A couple of years later, the group fell out and Robert returned to Earth where he opened a pub, "The Black Wings"

Robert would never lay a hand on a woman. The day he does that is when he loses being a man.

Robert has a fear of spiders. Those 8 legged things should be an extinct species.

Nox Avalon is a moon, and is filled with smugglers, criminals, bounty hunters, and various other lowlifes.

Kanton is not the quiet type, and if something displeases him, he's going to let you know, usually with a snarky and/or sassy remark. He has a bit of an ego, usually introducing himself as "the best and most dashingly handsome bounty hunter in the galaxy." His overall personality can be described as sarcastic and, to him, charming. Even when in the midst of the battle, he'll usually find the time to make a quip or insult the enemy with a belittling remark. Around people he trusts, he's fairly light-hearted, but will still make the occasional joke or witty input. He sees himself as a womanizer, and will flirt with just about any woman he sees, even though he's usually shot down almost instantly.


History:


Kanton was born the son of a prostitute and a mercenary. His mother left soon after his birth, but his father stuck around, teaching his son how to shoot, giving him the skills that would be necessary to survive on Nox Avalon, and also the skills that would later make him such a formidable bounty hunter. Some years later, Kanton followed in his father's footsteps and became a gun-for-hire. He fell in with a gang of mercenaries, and they traveled around the system, doing jobs for shady characters and mob bosses alike. Over time, Kanton came to love this band of mercs, seeing them as a second family. However, as with most OC backstories, tragedy would soon strike. A crime boss, displeased with the team's performance on their most recent mission, sent assassins to eliminate them. Kanton was the only survivor of the ensuing battle. When he was done mourning the loss of his companions, Kanton made it his mission to kill the individual that had killed his family. He would take bounties on members of the crime boss's syndicate, slowly rising the ranks, gaining information as he went along. When he finally had enough evidence to prove who the boss was, the SoP assigned him a bounty to take down the boss. After getting his revenge, Kanton, still young, became a lone bounty hunter. Because of his past experiences, he will only accept bounties from law authorities such as the SoP. Some days ago, the SoP contacted him with another bounty, something about some moon goddess...

Kanton is still capable of fighting without it, but he's come to rely somewhat heavily on his suit, especially the HUD. As stated below, he has no formal training in hand-to-hand combat, so if he were to get into a fistfight with someone who did, they'd probably be the victor of that encounter. Kanton has a fear of being completely and utterly alone.

Kanton is still capable of fighting without it, but he's come to rely somewhat heavily on his suit, especially the HUD. As stated below, he has no formal training in hand-to-hand combat, so if he were to get into a fistfight with someone who did, he most likely wouldn't be the victor of that encounter. Equipment:


Kanton is armed to the teeth, as is typical with most bounty hunters. His weapons of choice are a set of matching revolvers style pistols that he uses akimbo. He also carries a sniper rifle for long-range kills, and a simple shortsword plus two daggers for close-range. He packs several flashbang grenades. Kanton's armor is designed to be protective and also survive in wildly different environments, including the vacuum of space. The helmet is equipped with a filter and reserve air tank, allowing him to breathe in poisonous environments. The helmet has an integrated HUD that offers a digital life support system readout, and has various data streams that can be controlled with eye movements. The macrobinocular viewplate could be magnified to allow Kanton to see great distances, and is equipped with an infrared scanner. The helmet will automatically adjust depending on lighting conditions. His armor is designed to protect him from small arms fire, incendiaries, and, to a degree, explosions. The plates are made out of an extremely durable alloy. The leggings are made of the same material as the chestplate, and the boots have two holsters in them for holding his daggers. The boots have retractable blades that deploy from the toe of the boot.  Over the armor, he wears a hooded cloak (as seen in the above picture), and over the cloak he wears a bandolier, several pouches for holding more ammunition or other bits and bobs, a scabbard across his back for the shortsword, and a satchel for holding things larger then the pouches can hold.


Skills:


Kanton has dead-eye aim even without his helmet, especially with handguns. He's about as strong as you'd expect him to be, but it's nothing to write home about. Kanton is also an excellent pilot, as it's pretty much his main of getting around the system and transporting bounty targets. He can hold his own in a fistfight, but he has no formal training in hand-to-hand combat.

Born in The City of Boston into a medium class family, He had a good life. Or thats what his family believed. On the inside, lay a dark truth, When ever he left the house he was bullied left and right, Trying to his best to ignore the people, He was picked on for Being tall. One day his anger got the best of him and Accedently killed one of the Bullies. He had a way with his fists, or any hand to hand weapons. Later on in his life, he began to use a staff as a weapon. He joined up with a merc group and Did Contracts for money One contract required them to go on a suicide mission, Whilist this battle raged he watched as his comrades fell, he knew he had to do somthing, as his rage built up inside, his vision blured and it all went to black, He woke hours after the battle ended Shoked that he was alive, He checked his helmat cam to see how he got to where he was, and to his horror, he watched as he ripped apart person after person after person. He came up with a mission. to find the person who contracted them, and to get is vengence. He tried to radio H.Q. But no one picked up. He tryed to get to the H.Q. But the SoP Was there waiting for him, Almost knowing his plans. They told him to come with them, He knew something was getting ready to Start.
