Here are some character rules and guidelines:
  • I will generally not allow anyone Force-sensitive but exceptions can be made should I approve of it.
  • This is a trooper-centered story primarily but Cadrick's Outlaws is also home to former Imperial researchers, techs and other non-combat staff as well as a select few mercenaries whom have either joined the ex-Imperials because of similar goals, out of necessity or for other, personal or otherwise, reasons.
  • You do not need to be an expert on military tactics, hierarchy or ranks. If anything a lack of knowledge may even reflect well onto a character, such as those recruited late into the Galactic Civil War or those pressed into service via conscription.
  • No ultra-rare alien species. I will allow some alien troopers into the mix but please select one of the more common non-Human species in that case.
  • No five-star generals. You are rank and file at worst, NCOs/'non-coms' at best.

Character sheet template:

  • Name: *Your name*

  • Backstory: *A short backstory for your character. Be sure to include how they came to join Cadrick's Outlaws, either pre- or post-Kashyyyk. In case of a mercenary, why did your character join ranks with Lt. Cadrick and his men?*
Feel free to post your sheet, a cookie-rating from me means you've been approved.

Name: Hailin Arko

Alias: Hail

Trooper/Officer Designation: DT-204

Age: 29

Species: Human

Physical Appearance/Description: Typical of death troopers, Hailin is among the most physically fit in Cadrick's Outlaws. Imposing in both height and strength, Hailin stands out in a crowd, peaking over most others. She's known for her intense stare, seemingly peering into the soul of anyone she interacts with. Hailin keeps her short dark hair in a tight bun to keep it out of her face at all times.
1688403715051.png1688413953172.png

Imperial MOS/Branch: Imperial Intelligence, Death Trooper

Rank: Specialist

Cause for Enlistment: Hailin Arko enlisted with the Imperial military as soon as she was able to. Coming from a generational family of soldiers, there was much expected of the youngest Arko, a path to be carved out through years of dedicated service, as most in her line had done before her in the Empire, and before that, the Republic. Hailin spent her entire life with the conviction to believe the Empire's absolutism, even long after the Emperor's death. Hail is a die-hard Imperial, and has been all her life.

Years of Service: 11 years

Backstory: Like most in her family, Hail signed up for service as soon as possible. She originally entered into the military as a storm trooper, but was quickly transferred to the death trooper training camp on Scarif shortly into her training. There, she excelled at her role and eventually earned a place on Admiral Piett's personal death trooper guard detail in 6 BBY. Hailin was present at a handful of notable Civil War battles, including Hoth, Endor, and Jakku. Piett had deployed his death trooper division during Hoth where Hailin's squad engaged directly with Rebel forces as they retreated. She narrowly escaped the crash of Admiral Piett's Executor into the second Death Star after the Admiral's death. She remained on the moon of Endor for a time before being rescued by Imperial forces. After regrouping with the remnants of the Empire, she was also present at the battle of Jakku and once again narrowly survived with a small extraction once the battle was lost. Hailin led the exodus of a small group of Imperial remnants, eventually consolidating with Cadrick's after their defense of Kashyyyk, where she currently serves.

Lt. Haldon Cadrick - Cadrick's Outlaws
  • Name: Cadrick, HaldonCS Lt. Cadrick.png
  • Alias: 'LT', 'Cad', 'Cadrick the Fair'
  • Trooper/Officer Designation: IO-433
  • DoB/Age: 57
  • Species: Human (Unknown)
  • Physical Appearance/Description: Old and scarred, Haldon Cadrick still maintains physique fitting of that of a soldier. Beyond that he is of average height with no other identifying or unique marks aside from his rather large facial scar.
  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Officer, Imperial Army
  • Rank: Lieutenant
  • Cause for Enlistment: Haldon Cadrick initially enlisted with the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) during the Clone Wars where he served alongside other non-Clones as both a tactical officer and strategy instructor having been trained by his homeworld's planetary militia.
  • Years of Service: 23 years.
  • Backstory:

Originally from a backwater Mid-Rim world, Haldon Cadrick is a Clone Wars veteran with a combat record that speaks louder than any medal or commendation ever could. Having served as a junior officer on his own homeworld- something he rarely speaks of, if ever- prior to the Clone Wars his total military experience amounts to some twenty-seven or twenty-eight years in the field which far surpasses most of his peers, Imperial or otherwise.

During the Clone Wars he was assigned to instruct and advise on tactical matters, functioning as one of many non-Clone GAR officers that helped supervise ground operations in numerous theaters alongside the less combat-experienced and untrained Jedi Generals. For the Jedi Cadrick and his officer training would be a welcome aid whereas for the Clones he would grow to become something of a fellow brother in arms.

When the Galactic Empire was formed and rose to power Cadrick went with it, being pressed to fill the role of a direct combat officer on the ground in service of the Imperial Army. His previous experience would serve him well on various fronts and theaters where he would oversee the command of various different units and cooperate with both the Stormtrooper Corps, Imperial Intelligence and the Imperial Navy.

Ultimately Cadrick's fame within the Imperial military would save him and those under his command as his final orders- combat support at Jakku- would be changed in the last minute to take, hold and deny access to ISBS Druid on Kashyyyk- a decision which would spare him from the massacre at Jakku.

Cpl. Kyran Racksen - Cadrick's Outlaws
  • Name: Racksen, KyranKyran Racksen.png
  • Alias: None.
  • Trooper/Officer Designation: DT-961
  • DoB/Age: 35
  • Species: Human (Corellian)
  • Physical Appearance/Description: Strong and fit build, unit tattoos on his right arm, Imperial military.
  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Death Trooper Division, Stormtrooper Corps
  • Rank: Corporal
  • Cause for Enlistment: Kyran Racksen was- like most service members from Corellia- conscripted to expand the ranks of the growing Imperial military following its early years.
  • Years of Service: 10
  • Backstory:

Kyran Racksen was one of five no-good sons in a family of criminals back on Corellia. Had it not been for the Empire and its ruthless law enforcement as well as its aggressive recruiting- and propaganda-campaigns Kyran would most likely have ended up dead in some filthy back-alley having either been shot, stabbed or both.

Thankfully the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps found him first and managed to not only conscript Kyran but two of his brothers as well into its vast ranks. It would be here that Kyran's distrust towards authority and insubordinate sarcasm would gradually be filed down as the young man was presented with both increasingly difficult challenges as well as harsher and harsher disciplinary reprimands.

Surprisingly Kyran would make it into Death Trooper selection, going on to be cybernetically enhanced and specially trained for some of the toughest assignments available. During the later years of the Galactic Civil War Kyran would both undertake and lead missions against droves of insurgents and terrorists, gradually facing much stronger and more well-equipped resistance fighters as time went on.

At the end of the war- right before the Battle of Endor and the destruction of the second Death Star- Racksen would be transferred into a mixed-branch unit deployed to Kashyyyk under veteran command, tasked with defending a key ISB site.

Agent Shela Vorne - ISB Remnants
  • Name: Vorne, ShelaCS Agent Vorne.png
  • Alias: 'Agent', 'Shel'
  • Trooper/Officer Designation: IA-283
  • DoB/Age: 28
  • Species: Zabrak
  • Physical Appearance/Description: Slim build coupled with attractive features and physique, bears traditional markings on her face.
  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Imperial Security Bureau
  • Rank: Agent
  • Cause for Enlistment: After the failed coup d'etat at the hands of the Jedi Order a young Shela Vorne vowed to do everything in her power to preserve the integrity and security of the Empire after witnessing several unprovoked Jedi-attacks on Coruscant, causing death among innocent bystanders and Imperial security forces fought to stop the terrorists.
  • Years of Service: 6
  • Backstory:

Relatively junior in her station, Agent Vorne is a skilled ISB operative usually tasked with rooting out terrorist cells on remote worlds. Her unquestionable and near-brainwashed loyalty to the Empire made her both friends and enemies along the way during her career.

Upon hearing of the events which transpired at Endor she led a small special forces-team in a daring counter-strike against Alliance forces during celebrations on Coruscant. Afterwards she and her team would make a quick escape under fire, fighting off Alliance soldiers and partisans alike on one of the sublevels.

She would eventually find her way into the command of Captain Ladros Vaythorn- an ISB captain in command of the Arquiten-class command cruiser Shadow's Masquerade from which she and other surviving ISB forces would begin conducting guerilla warfare against the New Republic.

*

Captain Ladros Vaythorn - ISBV Shadow's Masquerade/ISB Remnants
  • Name: Vaythorn, LadrosCS Captain Ladros Vaythorn.png
  • Alias: None.
  • Trooper/Officer Designation: NC-745
  • DoB/Age: 41
  • Species: Human (Eriadu)
  • Physical Appearance/Description: Average height and physique, no discerning marks such as tattoos or scars.
  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Officer, Imperial Security Bureau
  • Rank: Captain
  • Cause for Enlistment: Being connected via family to none other than Wilhuff Tarkin, Ladros Vaythorn was initially fast-tracked to serve within the Imperial Navy before being transitioned over to the ISB directly after receiving his first command. Requiring its own share of skilled naval officers the ISB entrusted Ladros with one of their Arquitens-class command cruisers- the Shadow's Masquerade- which would serve as a key tactical resource and base of operations for ISB operatives and agents operating throughout the Mid-Rim.
  • Years of Service: 15
  • Backstory:

With powerful connections and great wealth came the advantage of not being conscripted by the Imperial Army and being shipped off to theaters of war such as Mimban where the odds of survival were low at best. Ladros Vaythorn would be selected for officer's school with a specialization on naval tactics and warfare. Upon graduation he would be approached by the ISB, effectively killing any chance of being assigned to command one of many patrol vessels near the core worlds.

Instead Vaythorn would take command of one the ISB's prized command cruisers tasked with providing in-the-field support to operatives and agents on their own assignments. Surprisingly Vaythorn grew to enjoy the challenge of ISB work and during his career he would grow quite fond of his crew and ship, ultimately passing up on several promotions that would have him be assigned somewhere more prestigious.

As chance would have it this refusal to advance within the ISBs ranks would ultimately save Vaythorn and his crew, with the Shadow's Masquerade being away on a remote assignment during the Battle of Endor. Poised to strike back at the Alliance while also searching for other Imperials, Vaythorn and his crew would eventually stumble upon several isolated Imperial forces- including an ISB sabotage team fleeing Coruscant.

Katresh Jalaan - Kat's Cantina
  • Name: Jalaan, KatreshCS Katresh Jalaan.png
  • Alias: 'Kat'
  • DoB/Age: 34
  • Species: Togruta
  • Physical Appearance/Description: While neither especially muscular nor tall, Katresh has a more slimmed and feminine build fitting of that of a gunslinger-gone-civilian. Numerous traditional markings on her body, lekku and montrals.
  • Backstory:

Born on a CIS-occupied world which would be ravaged by war to the point of anarchy during the height of the Clone Wars, Katresh Jalaan would grow up into one of many street gangs that filled the vacuum after the galaxy-wide shut-down code was issued to the CIS droid army.

Eventually the will to live and ambitions to do more forced Katresh off of her homeworld where she became a gunslinger for hire for a short period before stumbling upon the planet Horvaan where she now resides.

Aside from operating the planet's only cantina Katresh- known as 'Kat' by her friends- also operates a hostel and a lucrative information-brokering business all within the exact same building.

Despite not having many warm feelings for any sort of galactic authority she has learned to both trust and rely on Lieutenant Cadrick and his men for help with matters regarding Horvaan and the Outer-Rim as a whole, having contracted them as mercenaries and acting as their liaison on behalf of less publicly-inclined parties.
*
Sergeant Val Kitressi - Cadrick's Outlaws
  • Name: Kitressi, ValCS DT Sgt Val Kitressi.png
  • Alias: 'Val', 'Kit'
  • Trooper/Officer Designation: DT-749
  • DoB/Age: 30
  • Species: Human (Corellian)
  • Physical Appearance/Description: Tall and muscular build, various scars on her upper left back, left arm and left hip.
  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Death Trooper Division, Stormtrooper Corps
  • Rank: Sergeant
  • Cause for Enlistment: Enlisted because of love, stayed for the camaraderie and adrenaline.
  • Years of Service: 8
  • Backstory:

Enlisting alongside her childhood crush so that they both could flee the depravity of their respective dead-end lives, Sergeant Val 'Kit' Kitressi would soon find herself stunned as she was shipped lightyears away from her then-love and pressed into service with the Stormtrooper Corps.

Showing proficiency as a squad leader she would later take on and pass Death Trooper selection, resulting in further training as well as enhancements to make her even more lethal and effective. Kit would then be assigned to various special tasks where she would be in command of both regular and irregular- such as ISB inspectors, Imperial-aligned alien militias and more- forces in service of the Empire.

Despite the unique nature of her assignments she would be relatively untested in combat up until the later years of the war where Death Trooper such as herself were allocated to more dangerous and high-priority missions.

Eventually she would be deployed to Kashyyyk and transitioned over into a mixed-branch unit with which she has continued to serve even now, despite the fall of the Empire.
*
Omed Gharnes - Cadrick's Outlaws
  • Name: Gharnes, OmedCS Trooper Omed Gharnes.png
  • Alias: None.
  • Trooper/Officer Designation: RF-641
  • DoB/Age: 33
  • Species: Human (Raxian)
  • Physical Appearance/Description: Strong build, broad-shouldered. Various scars from shrapnel and slug-based weaponry.
  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Infantry, Imperial Army
  • Rank: Private
  • Cause for Enlistment: Penal conscription, alongside his friend Rono Dolkes.
  • Years of Service: 4
  • Backstory:

After a particularly violent brawl instigated by himself and several friends- including childhood friend Rono Dolkes- Omed Gharnes would require several Imperial patrol troopers to be properly subdued and restrained.

Up until that evening brawl his chances of serving in the military had been slim as most of Raxus was still very much Separatist-aligned. This, however, would be overlooked by the tribunal whom offered Omed and Rono the choice between military service or ten years of forced labor at a nearby Imperial mine.

With few choices to begin with Omed choose military life for both himself and Rono, sending both men to boot camp in service of the Imperial Army where they would be assigned to one of the most hated penal units within the Imperial military as a whole.
*
Rono Dolkes - Cadrick's Outlaws
  • Name: Dolkes, RonoCS Trooper Rono Dolkes.png
  • Alias: 'Dagger'
  • Trooper/Officer Designation: RF-642
  • DoB/Age: 29
  • Species: Human (Raxian)
  • Physical Appearance/Description: Shorter-than-average, fit/athletic build.
  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Infantry, Imperial Army
  • Rank: Private
  • Cause for Enlistment: Penal conscription, alongside his friend Omed Gharnes.
  • Years of Service: 4
  • Backstory:

Regretting nothing and living each day like it was your last had been easy until an Imperial tribunal put Rono and his friend Omed in the hot-seat, forcing the two men to choose between the military or working at a mine.

Rono had been ready to take his chances with forced labor when Omed choose for both of them- something he initially disliked greatly- and while the Imperial Army only served to cement his own anger it would be redirected at them rather than Omed.

The two penal conscripts would go on to serve on a number of near-suicide missions, breaking through fortified defenses with nil support or being forced to garrison and defend remote outposts with limited supplies. Many faces came and went but Rono and Omed managed to endure, surviving so far that they would eventually be re-assigned to Lieutenant Cadrick post-Endor to defend an ISB blacksite in the middle of nowhere on Kashyyyk.

Name: Crix Bastra
Alias: 20 or Slick
Trooper/Officer Designation: TC-2051
DoB/Age: 25
Species: Pure human
Physical Appearance/Description:
He is a pale, naturally tanned skinned man that has an aggressive feel about him. Standing tall, he has broad shoulders and strong arms, a well-defined waist, straight hips, and strong legs. His black hair is long and curly, if he let it grow out, it is normally clipped very short just above the scalp. He has a lean face, a softly shaped jaw with an impressive beard or he would if he decided to grow one. His eyebrows are thin and slightly angled, set just above his stern grey eyes. Even through many rough and hard years of combat training his nose is straight and when he smiles it is with thin lips, giving him a slightly predatory look. Adding to this feel are three faint scars on the right side of his face.
Height/Weight : 5'9" / 195 pounds (All lean killing muscle)

EFGkcOTWwAAXmjJ.jpg

Imperial MOS/Branch: Heavy, Coastal Defender
Rank: Command Sergeant

Cause for Enlistment: Like many others he was liberated (recruited at the age of 13) from his parents on Corellia at a very young age. For a short time he remembered his parents fondly, but soon those memories faded. To be replaced with new, more exciting memories with his new family and teachers, along with a cold blooded killing machine. An HK-51 model. Although those memories would be tarnished by the damnable droid and his self aggrandizing superior thinking. TC-2051 wanted to be the best and complete his training as quickly as possible if only to get away from the droid who delighted in causing him pain.

Years of Service: 12

Backstory : He was selected to be in the first ground wave on Hoth, but he was not one of the first Imperials in Echo Base - partially because he didn't mind the cold, but mostly because there were more troops outside defending the exterior emplacements. Therefore a much more target rich environment. After the battle of Scarif he was assigned to Dxun and finally onto Hoth to assist with the eradication of the rebels there, and finally he was selected to be part of the last stand with Cadrick's Outlaws on Kashyyyk.

Personality : TC-2051 thinks he funny and intelligent, but really he is neither of those. Most of the time. He is straight forward, bullheaded, and obstinate with a gruff and abrasive demeanor to boot.

Attire : Heavy Shore trooper Armor with armor weave kama, modified for forest/jungle environments.

Shoretrooper_-_Rogue_One.png
download.jpeg

Weaponry and tools : He uses a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon a his primary, with an E-22 on his back weapons mount as his secondary. A SE-14r with suppressor attached, as his tertiary weapon on his right thigh and a mid sized combat knife as a last option, but more often then not he uses the pistol and knife in conjunction. Because if things are bad enough to warrant a pistol, you may as well stab them just to be sure. And as a last resort he has four C-25 fragmentation grenades at the back of his belt, because if you have to blow something quickly may as well do it a lot. No such thing as overkill.

Other : Unlike many other troopers TC-2051 has come away from his time in service with very little in the way of scars or replacement parts. He has had his share of broken bones(both arms upper and lower, both hands, all his fingers, legs twice and spine once), bruised and cracked ribs, but has managed to avoid losing any of his limbs. The only cybernetic upgrades were to his eyes, allowing his to perceive his surroundings much faster and with more clarity then a human should be able to, which might help explain how he has avoided losing limbs.

Imperial mos/ Branch: Mud trooper- Infantry

Rank Staff Sargent

Cause for enlistment: Revenge

years in service 5

History Ason came from a military family on the planet Taris. His farther served in the defense fleet before transferring to the Republic military none clone division. Once the Empire took control his farthered served them. While he didn't agree with many of their practices he would rather have a government that actually protects its people instead of one that just sits on their butts and only giving a damn when bad stuff happens.

Ason himself was content to serve in Taris security under the control of the Empire. That all changed five years ago when his brother and sister who were stationed on a simple mining station were killed by the terrorists group over the planet Yavin.

He vowed he would avenge them. Because of his service time in Tar-Sec He was immediately promoted to Corpral after finishing basic.
Because of his age and less than loyal tendencies he was placed in the Imperial Army Mud troopers instead of being a storm trooper. He would serve on Hoth, Jakku, several minor fronts, ending up an Kashykke with the Outlaws

22o7ndd.gif
Name: Mulo Phisk
Alias: "Agent"
Designation: II-374
DOB: 37, 32BBY/13BFE
Species: Near-Human
Imperial Branch: Imperial Intelligence.
  • Bureau of Operations
  • Liaison, Death Trooper Division
Rank: "Senior Agent"
Years of Service: 19 years

Appearance: A physically imposing figure of mid-level authority, darkskinned with brown eyes and an inhumane glare of intolerance. A prideful, almost polite smile and oddly open attitude, (occasionally) contrasts a typically colder gaze. Black hair, peppered with salt, is often cropped low, neat but ever so slightly longer than regulatory mandate dedicated. Broad, tall and refined in physicality, a shining example of the crossroad that is Imperial discipline and an unrestricted military sciences budget.

Cause for Enlistment: Reported to have been born in the Unknown Regions amidst the Clone Wars' turbulence. Despite having gone on to serve a lengthy tenure in the Imperial Military, Phisk had only ever sought to stick close to a (girl)friend from home, enrolling alongside them in the Judicial Forces as a cadet and later to the newly formed Galactic Empire. As it turns out, Phisk's quite the soldier-saboteur and so, stuck around. He can't exactly leave anymore.

Backstory: Phisk's career began as a lovestruck Judicial Forces cadet during the transition from the Republic to the Empire, young and a bit bull headed, he'd followed her to the first of Imperial academies and, to his surprise, routinely held his own. The would-be pilot's goals were abruptly dissolved by recruiters.

Observance, analytical inclinations and a general technical aptitude deemed "superior" is what intelligence talent scouts parroted. Phisk was subjected to the gruelling regimens of the Deathtrooper Corps to be made strong. He went Intelligence, she went Security Bureau and both believed hearts could prevail. Two children, a lateral movement and separation later, Phisk had a far more personal bone to pick with the ISB.

Unlike many of his former peers, Phisk's personal gravitation towards lateral development over promotions and servitude, has seen him withdraw from the division entirely to be instated as a field operative. He cites a desire to better serve the Empire, reality's that he disliked being a decorative piece when not "in the dirt".

Agent Phisk has participated in a variety of departments within The Bureau like many operatives, this well rounded experience and his general background has lead to his assignment as a liaison to the garrison ISB compliment, offering insight into the tactical and strategical implementations of Death Troopers as well as supervising the logistical efforts that support them. Though his job has proved exceptionally difficult since being left with the rearguard and his superior's coincidentally undisclosed reassignment.

Name: Prejet Castus;
Alias: Clatter;
Trooper/Officer Designation: ST-2611;
DoB/Age: 26;
Species: Human;

Physical Appearance/Description: A slender, rifle-like form that weighs in 70.6 kg (155 lbs) at a staggering height of 173.2 cm (5'8"). His face is unblemished and pure, like freshly-minted quadanium steel, despite his seven years of undying and loyal service to the Empire and its aims. Dim, but virile emeralds for eyes that blend seemlessly within a forest's drapery. His hair is short and sleek, darker than a Death Trooper's armor and sootier too. A strong-outline on his jaw to the point of his chin.
Imperial MOS/Branch: Scout Trooper, Imperial Stormtrooper Corps;
Rank: Lieutenant;
Cause for Enlistment: To Be Free;
Equipment:
The Collapsible, E-11s Sniper Rifle from BlasTech;
Instead of the holdout blaster pistols that are routinely deployed to Scout Troopers, Prejet instead uses the SE-14r light repeating blaster pistol.
Three Fragmentation Grenades;
One Vibroblade;

Years of Service: 7
Backstory: Born on the backwater, (more like dustball) of a planet in the Mid Rim, Aargonar. The arid, sands and rocks of the planet provided nothing but cruelty to the young Castus; from frequent sand storms to pirate rampages or those brief assaults by the CIS and long-gone Republic armies. When he came of age and with the rise of the new Galactic Empire, Prejet saw his opportunity to abandon the planet and what few family members he had left. Enrolled within the Imperial Academy of Carida, showing exceptional talent but lacking the means to tap into it fully. He still managed to earn a prestigious spot in his Emperor's ranks of Scout Troopers.

He participated in the ground battle of Scarif, earning several kills to his name although not without being unscathed. He participated in minor battles after, until he distinguished himself once again during the Battle of Hoth for his expert reconnaissance and sniper support. It was during the aftermath of Hoth that he learned of Cadrick's Outlaws, he took a fancy to their unit's style and tight-knit working and linked up with them.

He has remained with them for every major and minor conflict, including but not limited to their present fate on Kashyyyk.

Name: Felix Faulkner
Alias: "Sarge"
Trooper/Officer Designation: IA-4099
DoB/Age: 33 BBY / 38 years old
Species: Human
Physical Appearance/Description:
4F9AD620-8392-417C-9730-9C569950F2C8.png
Felix stands at 6'2" with a well-built, muscular frame, a testament to years of military training and combat experience. He has short-cropped dark hair, a chiseled jawline, and steely gray eyes. Scars from battles past mark his skin, reminders of the hardships he has endured as a soldier.

Imperial MOS/Branch: Imperial Army Trooper, Infantry
Rank: Sergeant Major

Cause for Enlistment: Born into a family of Imperial loyalist on the Core World of Coruscant, Felix's upbringing was immersed in the culture of order and discipline. His father Nikolas Faulkner was the captain of a Venator-class Star Destroyer in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars, saw actions during the Malevolence Campaign, Battle of Coruscant, and participated in the Siege of Mandalore. Following the founding of the Galactic Empire he would rose to serve as a Vice Admiral in the Imperial Navy. Felix's mother, Beatrix, hold the rank of Major in the ISB surveillance branch. Growing up, he was instilled with a deep sense of duty to the Galactic Empire, and he admired the stability and unity it brought to the galaxy.

Yearning to contribute to the Empire's cause, Felix enlisted voluntarily in the Imperial Army in 15 BBY shortly after coming of age. He saw the army as a way to prove his worth and to work his way up the ranks based on his own merit rather than his family's influence. His exceptional combat skills and leadership abilities quickly garnered attention, earning him several promotions throughout his career.

Years of Service: 20 years

Backstory: Felix served in various campaigns across the galaxy, working alongside other dedicated soldiers who were just as passionate about maintaining order and enforcing Imperial rule. His first deployment in quelling the Berch Teller rebellion saw him promoted to the rank of Corporal in 13 BBY. He was a Staff Sergeant while serving in the 224th Imperial Armored Division during the Mimban Campaign, for his courageous action in the face of enemy he was awarded the Imperial Badge of Meritorious Service during the campaign.

After decades of service, Felix reached the rank of Master Sergeant shortly before the Battle of Endor, and he was promoted to Sergeant Major by what remains of the Imperial command after surviving Jakku. As the Empire crumbles, Felix's faith in the Empire's ideals wavered but did not break. He witnessed firsthand the rise of the New Republic and the rebel factions determined to bring down the Empire. Nevertheless, he remained resolute in his belief that the galaxy needed order and leadership, even if the state of the Empire was far from perfect.

When word of the uprising on Kashyyyk reached Felix's unit, they were dispatched to reinforce the ISB research facility to be placed under the command of Lieutenant Cadrick, a seasoned veteran from the Clone Wars.

(His attire would be similar to what this dude is wearing)

Dharka Vedd - [daa · kuh]
Dharka the Possessor; Scion of Mandalore; Ringleader of the Polis Massa Raids; Traitor of Wren

Species : Mandalorian-Human
Age : Twenty-Nine - [24 BBY]
Height : 6'1"
Weight : 166lbs

Rank
Imperial Mercenary
Enlistment Cause
A combination of practicality and disgust led Dharka to the Empire. Doing the odd jobs suited for his skillset allowed him to fund his projects, and he wouldn't have to care if his colleagues died as they were all imperial scumbags anyway!
Years of Service
Sixteen Years - He left Mandalore at 13 to pursue his solo career as a tech scavenger and eventual bounty hunter.
Personality
Dharka is matter-of-fact, practical, reliable, abrasive, quiet, judgemental and secretive. He's not the best conversationalist and tends to see the world in black and white, but prides himself on proving to be an effective and efficient worker. Closer to machines than man, Dharka dislikes most people and finds comfort in the endless tinkering of scrap. Do not mention Clan Wren to him, it's a sore spot.

Biography

Dharka Vedd was born Dekki Wren in 24 BBY to Clan Wren of House Vizsla. He began training with his father slightly early at seven years of age, but found much of his time occupied with the tinkering of little droids and devices he found. It was this interest that drew Dekki closer to his younger half-sister Sabine Wren, to which they became good friends. They built many things together, but it was their shared vision of the Arc Pulse Generator that cemented their relationship. But before any designs could be fabricated, he soon found himself separated from Sabine.

As his training progressed, Dekki quickly found that he despised most people he met for all their falliable flaws and unreliable vices. Only the cold perfection of metal seemed not to disappoint him. The teachings of Mandalore were wise, but Dekki's only respect was for their ancient smithing methods. When the time came for him to complete his coming of age ritual, thirteen-year-old Dekki escaped his family and boarded the nearest vessel he could find with as much beskar as he could carry.

The ship happened to belong to a scavenger who decided to raise Dekki, now Dharka Vedd, for the next three years. One day the scavenger found the beskar Dharka had been hiding on the ship and attempted to kill the ex-Mandalorian for it. Having mischeviously reprogrammed one of the service droids on the ship, Dharka was barely able to direct it to crush the man before he himself was killed. Comandeering the ship at sixteen years of age, Dharka was able to write up enough algorithms to be able to control all the droids aboard the ship remotely from the cockpit. He used this skeleton crew to scavenge and steal whatever he could find, sometimes stripping unlucky travellers of their valuables along the way.

Dharka would only return to Mandalore in 9 BBY when the Empire needed techies to reverse-engineer a superweapon named the Arc Pulse Generator. Dharka had been directly responsible for the mechanical components of the device, but Sabine had been the brains behind its energy generation and waveform pattern. It took him some time, but he was able to recreate a version of it for the Empire. Sabine eventually destroyed this weapon, but Dharka was able to steal away with more beskar before leaving Mandalore for good.

In the years after, Dharka made a name for himself as a feared bounty hunter. He specialised in using unique droids and drones that he often manually controlled to track down and capture or assassinate his targets. After some years he gained recognition from the Empire after successfully tracking down a Jedi - one whom Sith Lord Darth Vader was particularly interested in at the time.

Most curiously, Dharka's latest assignment led him to a secret facility in the heart of Kashyyyk. His bounty-hunting abilities were second to his skill in engineering, he was told by a man named Lt. Haldon Cadrick, and that his talents were required for a highly secretive weapon project. The pay was promising, but so too was the allure of crafting perfect machinery. The irony came as the Wookie uprising occurred too swiftly for response and Dharka soon found himself trapped on Kashyyyk amidst the chaos of a devastating battle.

Gear
Dharka fights by using droids of his own design as avatars, moving them via a neuro-connect chip inserted into his head. Rarely will he jump into the fray himself.
  • Service Drone - The most basic and easily-constructed drone in Dharka's toolkit, these thin-droids are effective scouts or expendable troops and possess a blaster rifle each. They are mostly used as bait, to scout out unknown areas or to buy him time while he escapes. [Three Active]
  • Star Drone - This star-shaped drone is a glorified crawling microserver that allows Dharka to remotely hijack other vehicles or networked systems. They fit in the palm of one's hand and can be thrown. Larger and/or more complex systems will either require more time or more drones to access. But once one of these hooks itself up to your ship, Dharka takes the wheel. [One Active]
  • Hunter Drone - More heavily armoured and incredibly agile, these long-legged droids excel at chasing down and tearing rebels to pieces with inbuilt mining lasers. They are also specifically useful in splicing into vehicles and disabling key systems. [Zero Active]
  • Dekki Mk. I - Dharka's most advanced droid project. Covered in a semi-constructed patchwork of Beskar plates, it is very strong and difficult to damage but possesses weak points in the joints of its armour. The power source is incomplete and may only stay active for a short while. This is the only drone that Dharka can actually get inside of and wear, but its value means he must keep it hidden from others. [Currently Unavailable]
  • Arc Pulser - Currently Dharka has no way or desire to create the Arc Pulse Generator again, but he was able to manufacture a small pistol-variant that he now wears at his hip. It only holds ten shots and he does not have the materials to recharge its battery. [Ten Charges]

Misc
He loves chocolate!

Branch: Imperial Stormtrooper Corps
Unit: 212th Attack Battalion, 1st Company

Rank: Corporal
Cause for Enlistment: Penal Conscription
Years of Service: 7 years
Distinguished Service Awards: Imperial Army Cross (x2)

Personal Biography
Youth: 0 to 17 years old (20 - 3 BBY)
Leto was born amid the brutal environs of Coruscant's Underworld. He grew up with a single mother who worked overnight to provide for him and his brothers. Their lives were rough and they had to make do with what they had. Like many of those who dwell in the undercity, Leto got himself embroiled with unsavory characters. He became an associate for a small crime syndicate that smuggled low-grade narcotics off-world. This life was all Leto knew for several years. He was a small-time criminal, working odd jobs or delivering “packages” as a runner. Leto quickly built up a reputation for having one too many close calls with Imperial authorities. Eventually, however, Leto’s luck ran out and he was arrested for possession of narcotics. His employers were quick to cut him loose. During his sentencing, Leto was given a choice: go to prison or join the Imperial Army. He chose the latter.

Imperial Army: 17 - 20 years old (3 - 1 BBY)
When he was assigned an Imperial Army unit, he was randomly selected to be enrolled in the field medic course. There, he learned the basics of battlefield trauma and first aid. Leto was hesitant at first, but he soon became more comfortable with the role. During his three years of service with the Imperial Army, Leto distinguished himself in combat several times. He had a knack for out-of-the-box thinking and was often selected for reconnaissance missions. Leto even earned a service cross after providing aid to a wounded comrade while under intense enemy fire. Leto’s distinguished service record was recognized by the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps, and he was selected for a branch transfer.

Imperial Stormtrooper: 20 - 24 years old (1 BBY - 4 ABY)
trauma_trooper 1.jpgLeto was given additional training as a stormtrooper including an advanced medical course. He earned a new MOS designation: “Trauma Trooper.” Leto was attached to the 1st Company of the 212th Attack Battalion and sent to Ryloth. Specializing in aerial attack tactics, the 212th was to assist other Imperial Army units conducting counter-insurgency operations against the paramilitary forces of the Free Ryloth Movement. The insurgents had been resisting imperial rule since the birth of the Empire in 19 BBY. This campaign was far tougher than any Leto had experienced before. It was unlike frontline combat, enemies tended to avoid direct confrontation, making them difficult to root out. There was no unified front either, there were often simultaneous reports of attacks all over the planet; prompting Imperial forces to spread themselves thin. Imperial troops would often suffer attacks where they were at their weakest or caught unawares. Insurgent tactics revolved around hit-and-run attacks, small unit engagements, and brutal urban combat. When Imperial forces would materialize to confront insurgent threats, the Twi’leks would dissolve their forces to avoid open engagements. This resulted in high Imperial casualties with little progress to show for their efforts. Even so, Leto continued to hone his combat and medical skills, earning one additional service cross for courage under fire.

Post-Empire: 25 years old (5 ABY - Present)
trauma trooper 3.jpgIn Leto’s final months of deployment on Ryloth, the situation had been rapidly deteriorating. Twi’lek insurgents had become bolder with their attacks, stretching the 212th to its breaking point. It became clear that if reinforcements and supplies were not provided soon, their position would become untenable. In their most dire hour of need, the 212th then received word that the Emperor had been killed. Morale plummeted and Imperial resistance faltered as the insurgents were emboldened with a new vigor. Not long after, what remained of 1st and 2nd companies of the 212th withdrew from the planet.

Leto boarded a shuttle along with many of his wounded comrades. During the evacuation, Leto’s group was separated and soon became isolated from the rest of 1st company. No longer in contact with their superiors and with dwindling supplies, Leto’s group was in danger of being wiped out by Alliance forces. Knowing many worlds may have declared hostilities towards the Empire now that the Emperor was dead, Leto’s group knew there were few places to find safe harbor. Just when all seemed lost, their shuttle group picked up an outgoing signal. It was a message from the ISB. They were ordering any and all nearby remnant imperial forces to regroup at a number of different rally points. The closest one within the shuttle groups range was an ISB facility on Kashyyyk: the ISBS Druid.

  • Imperial MOS/Branch: Imperial Army Stormtrooper Medical corps "Trauma Trooper"
  • Rank: Corporal
  • Cause for Enlistment: Was stuck in a dieing mining town and wanted to get out
  • Years of Service: 11
  • Backstory:
  • Velia Aquilin, born and raised in the desolate mining town of Gandra on the Outer Rim, lived a life characterized by hardship. The town, known for its dwindling mineral resources, was gripped by economic despair and was marred by frequent mining accidents. The local medical facilities were underfunded and understaffed, but they did the best they could with what they had.

Velia's parents, both miners, died in a mining accident when she was just a teenager, leaving her to fend for herself. Out of necessity, she began working at the town's medical center, where she quickly developed a knack for emergency medical treatment. Her fiery temperament earned her the alias "Jabs," both for her sharp tongue and her expertise with a medical needle. Her medical skills became renowned throughout the town, saving countless lives from the frequent mining accidents and the ensuing health problems.

Desiring a way out of her dying town, she saw an opportunity for escape when an Imperial recruitment officer visited Gandra. Velia enlisted in the Imperial Army and joined the Stormtrooper Medical Corps as a "Trauma Trooper". Her years of service were marked by her unyielding spirit and exceptional medical skills, eventually earning her the rank of Corporal and a reputation as one of the fiercest medics in the Stormtrooper Corps.

During the insurgency on Ryloth, Velia was paired with another "Trauma Trooper" from the 212th attack battalion - Corporal Leto Pavan. The two had an initial rocky relationship, but they found mutual respect in each other's perseverance and dedication to the Empire. They often found themselves fighting side by side, their dynamic a curious mix of Velia's explosive temperament and Leto's more composed demeanor.

As the turmoil of Ryloth escalated, the remnants of the beleaguered 1st and 2nd companies of the 212th Attack Battalion found themselves making a hasty retreat from the planet. Velia and many of her wounded comrades embarked on a harrowing evacuation, crowded aboard the tight confines of an Imperial shuttle. In the chaos of departure, their group became severed from the rest of the 1st Company, their connection to command lost amidst the tumultuous cacophony of war. Adrift in the vast expanse of space, with supplies dwindling and morale dipping. A series of Signals were received. Each orders for Imperial forces to regroup. With no other orders. The Shuttle made way towards the nearest regroup point, Kashyyk.

Name: Sharn Bo'tek
Alias: Rook
Trooper Designation: VN-7222
DoB/Age: 26 [21 BBY]
Species: Human
Physical Appearance/Description: Sharn has a small, pointed jawline, a button nose, and a pair of thin eyebrows. His head is a matte of curly hair, cropped close to fit in the helmet without tangling or pulling, and his eyes a deep brown, easily mistaken for black. A sprinkling of freckles dot his cheeks, but despite his youthful appearance, his face is devoid of the smile lines one might expect to find. His cheeks are sullen, his eyes empty of that reflective glimmer of life outside of battle. However, with a trusty DLT-19 in his hands, his ass in the seat of a walker, or an array of thermal detonators and a vague order of "blow them like your mother last night" that iconic toothy Bo'tek smile would creep onto his face.

Biography
Backstory: For most backstories, they'd start with something like a "Born on some inner rim planet, to some troubled family unit" followed by a "due to a strong conviction or rebel activity, this drove them to enlist/enroll!" Sharn's story has no such ruffles. He was born on Kuat to a rich family whose business was in manufacturing ships. If it were up to his parents, Sharn would've been a Moff, or at least a pilot to feed his adrenaline. After all, he spent many days watching Imperial Star Destroyers being built on the planet's all-encompassing ring from the safety of his father's office building.

However, he knew with the frequency of the ships being made, and the rush of wanting to put down rebel scum with his own two hands, Sharn enlisted at soon as he was of age simply because he really wanted to do the most dangerous thing he could think of: fighting rebs face to face, and was shipped off to be a stormtrooper. While he was in the academy, he aced most physical tests, and written tests as well, and was presented with the opportunity of becoming a storm commando, a specialist in the field, meant to take the hardest jobs the empire could give him. The risk was high, but the freedom he had and the arsenal they could grant him was better than the pay he would be receiving in the first place. Plus, the risk was the whole reason why he wanted to join up. Easiest decision he's ever made.

Sharn would be known for taking high-risk positions when given the opportunity. Pointman, demolitions expert, and even designated driver on and off the battlefield. His service found him distinguished for his actions during the battle of Lothal, Nar Shaddaa, Polis Massa, and even Thila, the battle of Hoth would signify to him where things got hairy. This wasn't because he had any sympathy for the rebels. It was because the rebels didn't give up despite their loss.

He was reassigned to Kashyyyk to aid in the blockade as a reward for his work since it was considered to be relatively 'relaxing'. He was hoping that he'd have some action soon, and with the battle of Endor inspiring rebel uprisings everywhere, he figures that he might've jinxed it this time.
