The Story
The Battle of Endor failed. The Emperor's plan to feed the rebel's false information worked, and as a result, a large portion of the Rebellion's forces were destroyed. Han Solo and Leia Organa failed their ground invasion, losing most of their forces and sustaining several wounds. Luke was unable to defeat his father and the Emperor and barely escaped with his life. Lando was unable to get within the Deathstar, however he was successful in rescuing Han and Leia. The Rebellion was nearly destroyed that day, and things only got worst from there. Over the next ten years, attempt after attempt was made to try and bring down the Empire, but each one of them failed. The last mission of the Rebel Alliance resulted in the destruction of their entire fleet, and so the surviving members went into hiding. Han and Leia became moisture farmers on Tattoine. Chewbacca returned to his home world of Kashyyyk and started a family. Luke began investigating ancient Jedi temples on Yavin 4, learning the secrets of the light side of the Force. Ten years have passed since the Rebel Alliance ended, and another rebellion has begun. Hundreds of thousands of men and women have joined up to fight against the Empire. Within the two years that it has existed, it has grown to be triple the size of the first Rebel Alliance, and with an even greater advantage: a very small number of Jedi have begun to surface within the rebels. It's here that our story begins.The Rebellion is as strong as ever, and has started a unique squad of warriors to help combat the Imperial threat.
The Rules
1. Don't make it a one on one. Please don't repeatedly post without giving other people a chance.
2. Swearing and violence will happen. If you want to avoid that, then this might not be the RP for you.
3. Any Star Wars book, game, comic, or movie is fair game for story and equipment as long as it takes place before the Battle of Endor.
4. In character fighting is cool as long as there is a reason for it. OOC fighting is not cool. Take it to PM if you have to.
5. Romance is fine, even for Jedi (Luke is lenient about that sort of thing) but if it goes too far, fade to black or take it to PM.
6. Jedi are totally allowed and so are Mandalorians and smugglers. Alien races are cool too, however Sith are restricted and must have a very, very, very good reason as to why the Rebels would allow them and why they would work with the Rebels. The password is 'Blue and red must be in balance', put it somewhere in your character sheet, anywhere. If I see a Sith and I don't think it works, I will PM you and ask you to change your CS.
7. Because this is a squad, I will be allowing up to 8 people to join before I close applications. We can start at 5 people.
8. Godmodding is not allowed, and a character must be able to be defeated. Strong characters are fine, but they can't be masters of everything and must have a weakness. 'They can't use the force' is not a good weakness.
9. I need a PM before a character dies. Also, don't kill another person's character without PMing me and the other player first.
10. Pictures of character faces must be people.
11. Final rule: One paragraph or more is required for a post. In other words, 4-6 sentences please.
