Fandom Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Rancor Ops

A few rules, as usual.


1)Standard RPNation rules apply.


2)This RP allows submission of Jedi Masters, Knights, and Padawans, as well as Clone Troopers and pretty much any other species in the Star Wars universe. Not much of a rule, but more of a notice.


3) There is a special rule to all submitted Jedi Masters in this RP. If someone submits a Jedi Master, and another person submits a Padawan, the Padawan will be assigned to the Master. These will be assigned randomly between Padawan and Master, but if you'd like to team up with another person to have a specific Master/Padawan duo, or of you submit two submissions of a Master and a Padawan and would like them to be together, please contact me. Knights are exempt from this rule as they are not Masters and are not Padawans, though they still have to listen to Masters.

Personality: A wise and mature man, Master Kataan usually takes everything at a slow pace. He is very patient, and even though he is considered rather young to be a Master for the Order, he speaks with the experience of a man three times his age. He can get annoyed easily, especially from the Padawans, but he knows how to deal with them. In battle, he is extremely focused, and is considered a masterful tactician. His orders are rarely questioned, and his men respect him.


History/Bio: Kataan grew up on Mandalore, which has recently been a planet of peace, so much unlike what it was so long ago, where it's proud warriors would seek battles across all edges of the galaxy. He was given to the Jedi at a very young age when he displayed his force prowess, and was a very obedient pupil. He was often fond meditating whenever things got rough, and as such, he was able to conquer the inner drive all Mandalorians have to fight. He grew up to be a remarkable Knight, but while he was on a mission in Felucia tracking a group of bounty hunters, his face was severely scarred. Since then, he has worn a mask and robe the covers his head, so that people may not fear him, and so that he cannot fear himself. He eventually became a Master at the age of 32, and has grown to be a great Master since. However, he has not taken a Padawan yet, a feat the Council is soon to retify.


Likes: Meditating, Teaching, Watching Space, Tactics.


Dislikes: Casualties, Impatient people, Bounty Hunters, and Lightspeed Travel.


Hobbies: Meditating, reading, taking apart and re-assembling his lightsaber.


Quirks: None.


Fears: Falling to the dark side, letting his troops down, and deep down, he fears himself.


Secrets: He continues to have thoughts of abandoning the order and living a quiet life.

Weaknesses: Trying to be intimidating, responds to threats rather poorly, and will usually throw himself in danger to assist his men or Padawans.

History/Bio: 1337 served with the 303rd Battalion, becoming wounded during their last stand on Ryloth and mistaken as dead by the enemy. Rescued by freedom fighters, he served a stint with the Twileks before the liberating armies caught up to him and he rejoined the GAR forces as part of Rancor.


Likes: His blaster, his job


Dislikes: Disobeying orders


Hobbies: Killing Droids


Fears: None, he was bred to have none.


Weapons: DC-15 Blaster rifle, but can also use the A carbine variant if the need arises.


Gear: Thermal Detonator, EMP grenades, macrobinocular visor.


Miscellaneous: (Anything that wouldn't fit with gear? Like spare gloves or something? Optional.)


Experience: Landed on Geonosis with the 303rd, serving with them until their decimation on Ryloth.


Strengths: More skilled in guerilla warfare then most in the GAR due to time spent with Twilek fighters, has the elite training of a clone trooper, is an exceptional shot.


Weaknesses: Sometimes looks down on the others, viewing them as inferior to his brothers of the 303rd, sometimes has flashbacks of Ryloth, sometimes disobeys orders if he needs to and sees his own plans as better.

Personality: Markus is cautious; perhaps overly-so. He never "Leaps before he looks", nor does he like taking unnecessary risks. Markus is intelligent and naturally strong, due to his species, although he's never trained in martial arts or hand-to-hand combat. Even in serious situations, Markus may crack a joke to lighten the mood; it's saved his life before.


History/Bio: Born illegitimately on Coruscant, Markus never knew his parents. He was forced to work in a mechanics shop in the Underworld, before being taken in by a minor crime lord. It was there that he showed his natural talent at slicing... by revealing sensitive documents about said crime lord leading to his arrest. Left to his own devices, and with a price on his head, Markus fled Coruscant at the age of 19 in his beat up HWK-290. Now he's just a slicer-for-hire looking for work.


Likes: His HWK-290 (The Instigator), Slicing, working alone, droids.


Dislikes: Jedi, unnecessarily dangerous situations, crime.


Hobbies: Reading, Tinkering.


Quirks: Stutters a bit when nervous or under pressure.

Gear: Slicing Gear; Markus carries a small laser, similar in composition to a lightsaber. It only extends 1-4 inches in length and is mainly used for cutting open and accessing panels..


Experience: Markus has little hand-to-hand combat training, but carries a vibroshiv just in case. He has had training in firing blasters.

Powers/Abilities: Expert at slicing and reprogramming.


Strengths: Gifted at slicing and reprogramming computers and droids, has had some training in firing blasters, strong-willed, intelligent.


Weaknesses: Doesn't work well under pressure, little combat training, often over-cautious.
