I made something that'll love me even when I won't
Yeah, yeah, I’m always looking for Star Wars, what’s different here?
Couple things.
This is mainly a Sequel Era search, with a caveat – possibly willing to play in the Imperial Era and/or New Republic Era (Pre-Hosnian Cataclysm) if we want to set up Backstories where characters knew each other. So you wanna be Ben Solo’s childhood friend? Fuck yeah – let’s play it out and give them Moments before we jump up to the Sequel Era.
Here’s the thing: on my side, I’m looking to play a particular type of character I love, which is basically just “Chaotic Tarkin”. I have one in an RP off-site that’s on hiatus, and gods do I miss her and her vibe. Now, I won’t be playing her – I love her and her story, and don’t want to mess that up in my own head, but I’ll probably be making characters with a similar vibe. What vibe is that?
Well, the kind of person who would commit war crimes to Doja Cat songs and post it on the Star Wars equivalent of TikTok if they snapped, is the vibe. They’re a military brat, they’re a politician, and they have far too many suicidal ideations to be a survivalist, yet they are. They keep doing things that are chaotic and dangerous with that lingering hope it will kill them one day, and it never seems to catch up to them. At least – in the background. How the RP goes, and if things finally snap them out of that stupidity, is for us to decide.
So, what scenarios do I have in mind for this? And who am I looking for?

And then you and your story come into play, and influence the route of things, too! I’m happy to do OCxCanon, CanonxCanon, and OCxOC for your side of things, and of course play childhood/young adult storylines to catch up with the sequel era and build on the relationships ahead.
However, I won’t play Han or Leia for you, unless you’re wanting to do a HanxLeia pairing, then sure! But they’re staying together. Sorry, not sorry.
Characters on the table include plenty of Imperial Era ones, and of course, our Sequel Era ones. You want a story with Luke? I got you. Mitth’raw’nuruodo? Hell yeah. Kylo? I’ve played that dude so much, sure. Rey? Why not!

1. Don't God-Mod. In other words, don't make my character speak, don't make my character take damage, and don't control my character. If you want something to go a certain way for plot purposes, just PM me and ask. Usually, I accept "god-modding" during travel and the like. It is usually acceptable to assume movement if a character is already committed to the journey.
2. Please be able to play all genders, and play multiple roles. Your main character(s) may be just male or just female, but I expect all the side characters and NPCs to have life and flavor, too.
3. I always double regardless of pairings involved, so you are also expected to double.
4. On the note of characters: I will always play one female character. So, be aware of that. I'm open to all pairing types, I have a preference for MxF and F//, but the others aren't off the table.
5. I only RP on threads, (or GDocs in rare cases), so no PM, kik, discord, e-mail, or other rps with me. So that I know you’ve read the rules this far, please tell me something interesting you’ve read/watched recently!
6. Please be able to write more than a couple of sentences as responses to me. I have tried to do “simple” RPs, but I end up not feeling motivated to respond or continue the RP. I will need you to be able to write a paragraph or two, each post, at least.
7. PM if you are interested. The only reason for you not to PM me is if you cannot do so due to the fact you haven't reached 24 hours/10 posts.
Guidelines:
1. I do not like to be hassled for posts. Especially if I have already posted that day or the day before. Do not bother me for posts until at least two days have passed. Otherwise, I will start to resent our RP and lose interest in it.
2. I enjoy OOC talk, however I will not respond to "hi" or "-poke-" or equivalents. Have substance to the chatter, even if it just asking "How are you?".
3. Do not bump our thread if I have not posted. I will not post out of spite. I have a problem with this, I acknowledge it, I'm not fixing it.
4. On that matter, please keep OOC to PMs and not on our IC thread. IC is for posting. If you have a question, concern, or comment, just shoot me a PM.
5. In general, I do not enjoy immediate romances or "slice-of-life" RPs, so do not come to me expecting I'll do either. I may make rare exceptions.

Poe Scenarios.
- Very possible they could have known each other in childhood, Poe grew up with the Resistance, and the Tarkins had to maintain their power, so there was probably the occasional political squabbling between adults. Easy for two kids to bond over airships, blasters, or the newest Holo show, and then continue that. We know Poe joined up with the New Republic military, and the Tarkin would go on to be a Senator, so there’s opportunity to interact between shifts, or have the politician take some New Republic military training and not just her “backwater” Eriadu military training. Their stories would likely diverge when Poe joins the Resistance and leaves the NR behind.
- Starting with no backstory, of course, is an option – this is also where the stories would converge again in modern times, with the Hosnian Cataclysm, and the Tarkin making it VERY clear she is not on the side of planet destroyers and unveiling what army she has, and allies of the old Imperials who haven’t jumped over to the First Order. But of course, she’s not formally aligned with the Resistance. Thus, recruitment/aligning, and Poe as the mediator.
Hux Scenarios.
- Very likely the early First Order tried to court the Tarkins into supporting the First Order, and very likely the Tarkins dragged it out because, eh, why not? It’s fun, and it keeps them informed of what’s going on, even if they have No Desire to join. Armitage, as a future leader, probably ends up brought along to learn things, and could interact with the young Tarkin scion, too. Naturally, these would all break off when it becomes clear the Tarkin family is wasting the First Order’s time.
- And so brings us to current era – the Tarkins are not in favor of the First Order’s actions. Regardless of meeting Hux or not, the reigning Tarkin has likely taken an unhealthy interest in the General of the First Order. This could easily go to kidnapping scenarios to get information (which no doubt goes awry) to straight-up infiltrating the Order in disguise and Actually letting Hux know (if he’s on the tipping point of switching sides, then this could be useful for him). As for the unhealthy interest? He created a thing that destroys suns xD she’s fascinated. Also I figure she caught the vibe from her spies that Hux and Snoke/Kylo don’t get around, so she can sense an opportunity for chaos/mischief to bring the Order down.
Amilyn Holdo Scenarios
- These would have to start back in the Imperial Era, a Tarkin who feels guilt for what happened with Alderaan, and has way too much access to, well, everything. She’d jump ship to the Rebellion and spill all that she knows. This variant has the potential to be Force sensitive (since Holdo also has the potential to be Force sensitive). Holdo would likely have to be the one she turns herself into, or finds out is a rebel and then turns herself in – and the bond is forged from there, and persists. The New Republic rises, they stay in touch, but start to drift. The First Order comes onto the scene, and Tarkin immediately goes to the Resistance to help, and meets up with Amilyn, rekindling what once was.
- This one really would have to start in the Imperial era, I’m not keen on just starting in the sequel era with these two.
