okay
I've often found that, when planning or joining a roleplay, the character sheet was something I dreaded. It's always felt like more of a chore that needed doing, something that stood in the way of me actually getting to write. For Jedi Enclave, we won't require list-style character documents (although you may make traditional sheets if that's what you prefer). Instead think of it as more of a detailed profile — something you'd read if you really wanted to know the ins and outs of the character. What makes them tick, what keeps them going, what would break them, how they move and their body type and everything else. Write like you normally do, but turn it into a character sheet.
I realize that may be a bit vague, so I'll include a few optional tips you can follow when writing your character profile.
There are obviously a great many more things you can do to make your character feel alive. Just do what feels right! I hope you all find this way of making character sheets more fun than the alternative. As always, don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions.

- Start off with your character's name. This may be an obvious one, but a character's name is one of their most important and distinct features.
- Write about their hobbies. What do they like? What do they do for a living? How did they discover these? Answering questions like these and incorporating them into the character's lifestyle can greatly improve a character.
- Write about living situation growing up. Did they have parents? Were they supportive? Strict? If they didn't have parents, how did they survive? How does this shape them as a person now? Describe how they interact with other characters and how their past experiences have made them this way. Some people are extroverted and outgoing because of their charisma and ability to get along with others, while others are extroverted because they want attention or to be recognized. Understanding a character's motivation is key in helping you write with them.

- No Jedi above Knight level for the time being. This may change if more Jedi join later down the line, but for now we'll keep it limited.
- Viscounts, Counts, and Judges of the Imperial Court have no training in the Dark Side, only exposure to it through the Magistrate. They are also unrestricted in terms of weapon choice — Lightsabers, vibro weapons, blasters — nothing is off the table (within reason of course).
- Please only make your character a species that appears in Episodes I - VI.
