Name: Finnègan Alfrìn


Species: Human. Boring old human.


Allegiance: None. Finn's only family is his brother, but they've been at odds lately.


Equipment: Finn carries around a backpack filled with various mechanical parts and metal bits, as well as multiple power packs. He really only wields a homemade blaster as a weapon, disliking conflict. A metal eagle follows Finn around, controlled by a simple (compared to most of Finn's creations) set of code and the thoughts of Finn. Another mechanicao creature Finn keeps with him is a metal kitten, which acts almost like a real animal, and tends to accidentally trip people.


Profession: Mechanic and metalsmith


Powers: Finn is a normal human, so he really doesn't have any powers.. The closest he comes to it is his skill with mechanics and programming.


Personality: Finn is laid-back, but still rather adventurous. He loves anything that's small enough to hold, and is fascinated by anything bigger that isn't humanoid. He also has a habit of trying to study how something (mechanical or not) works and moves. This can get sort of annoying, since he won't move out of the way when studying how the muscles on a charging bantha move.


Appearance: Finnègan is a tall and tanned 23 year old man. He's lean but muscular, since his job inlcuded a lot of moving large pieces of metal. He wears a grey t-shirt and heavy duty brown cargo pants. A leather glove protects his left hand and most of his arm from the talons of his metal bird. Finn also wears a belt full of large pouches and loops for his tools. He has messy brown hair and bright green eyes. Freckles dot his cheeks, making him look younger than he is. His eagle has synthetic covering over the main body to make it look like real feathers and keep the rain from damaging the delicate connections. Its talons and wings are uncovered though, and shine a bright silver. The feathers are mottled brown. Finn's kitten has synthetic covering as well, covering it's entire body in black fur with a white star on its chest. They are both made of a strong and durable metal mined only on Finn's home planet, giving them both an impressive amount of resistence to damage, including lightsabers. They are not equipped for battle though. (they'd be really ineffective, since they can really only claw and scratch things)


Backstory: Finn lived on a jungle planet with his family before DECADE THREE came. Their city ended up being bombed, and only Finn and his brother, Mark, survived. They moved to a smaller village, where Finn apprenticed to the local mechanic, and Mark studied biology and became a sort of doctor. They lived in peace for several years, until an explosion destroyed the park. The only reason why such a thing is important is because Mark and his girlfriend had been in the park at the time. They survived (sort of) and since this is not the story of Mark, I'll summarize the story. Due to the girl suffering a terrible head injury and Mark being crippled, the brother's mind and spirit were transferred to the girl's body (she was brain dead anyway). Finnègan was rather horrified when he found out that his brother had come up with and instructed the other doctor how to do the procedure. Instead of sticking around and letting Mark explain all that had happened, Finn hitched a ride on a ship, figuring it was about time he explored the Galaxy anyway.
