I'll try and keep this pretty simple. So like the title says, I am currently looking for a roleplay partner or two to write in the Star Wars universe, and I would specifically like to roleplay as Darth Maul! He is one of my favorite characters from the franchise and it has been a while since I was able to write as him, so I thought I'd give it a go here!
Just a few things before I get into the meat of this post;
Like I said above, I am mostly looking to roleplay as Darth Maul for the moment. While I do have other canon Star Wars characters I could be convinced to write for (which will be listed further down), he is my focus. I am mostly familair with the Clone Wars Era and the immediate few years afterwards at the start of the Empire, but I am happy to write a story that takes place at any point in Maul's life! I am looking to explore all sorts of dynamics with him; familial, platonic, romantic, rivalry, antagonistic- if you can name it, I'd be willing to give it a shot! Just to start us off, I'll list a few potential dynamic/roleplay ideas below. Feel free to pick one, or we can make one up ourselves completely from scratch!
I mentioned before that I have a few other canon characters I'd be willing to write, and I'll list them down here. I may have one or two plot bunnies for them so again, feel free to ask! Stars indicate current interest but I'm willing to write as any character below!

- Again, hey! I go by Luna or Hare online, I am twenty years old, and I use she/her and he/him pronouns. I am open to all genders, sexualities, and identities when it comes to both my writing partners and the characters involved in roleplay. However, I am NOT interested in roleplaying with anyone who is under the age of 20. If you are younger than 20, this ad is not for you.
- I write in the third person and I write several paragraphs per response. This can range from a shorter reply to only one or two paragraphs to upwards of eight to ten defending on the scene and how much set-up is needed. While I do not want every reply to be a novel, I would rather write with a partner who can write a few paragraphs each response and give me something to work with!
- I roleplay on here and on Discord- please let me know which one you'd prefer!
- I am very OOC friendly, and having an open line of communication is a must for me. I cannot get invested in a story if I don't at least have some rapport with my roleplay partner. Adding onto that, if you are patient with me then I will be patient with you! Life comes first, always, and I am more than happy to give you the time that you need.

- Mentor & Mentee: Maul finds and takes in a new apprentince, though who that apprentince is is completely up to you. Either in the last year of the Clone Wars where Maul has built up his crime syndicate or sometime after the syndicate has fallen and he is on his own once more, Maul is saddled with the responsibility of caring for and training a new apprentince. Are they a street kid who just so happened to choose his pockets to try and pick from? Are they a former Jedi Padawan or youngling who managed to escape Order 66? Are they the child of a rival crime lord Maul defeated and decided to take in? Are they a young clone who managed to escape during the rise of the Empire? Let's talk about it!
- Unlikely Partnership: I'm a sucker for unlikely friends. This could reasonably take place at any point of Maul's life, and I'm totally willing to open this up to an AU where it doesn't fully follow canon. Maybe Maul and a bounty hunter team up for a mission and their bond becomes more personal than they first expected? Does a Jedi find an injured Maul and offer him their help? Maybe a target becomes an ally in a desperate time of need? It's up to us to figure it out!
- Old Bonds: This one is also open to any point in Maul's life. Someone from Maul's past meets him again in the present. This can be an OC that Maul used to have ties with, or a canon character like Ahsoka, Ventress, or Obi-Wan who happen to bump into him later in life. This could even be a familial bond; want to give Maul a relative he's been seperated from until now? Let's do it!
